Dr. Angel-Cann was an awesome freshman english teacher. I enjoyed her class. It was like a typical english class... mostly papers, a few readings and quizes although i was absent for most. Cool person, at first i was scared of her but at the end of the semester i was trying to take her again!

Had the class as a winter class, it was fast, but she was great.

At first, she seemed mean, but was great towards the end. I loved her!

This class was so much fun! I don't like english. I thought i was going to dread going to her english class, but i loved every minute of it. She is very helpful and fun. If you're worried about writing papers, don't be. She will help and edit your paper if you go to her office. I highly recommend Dr. Angel-Cann!

She will change the way you will look at creative writing!! Amazingly inspiring and one of the best profs at CCCCD. I took her ENGL 1301, and am lucky to have her for ENGL 1302 as well!

Dr. Angel-Cann is a great teacher. You write paper after paper in this class but the topics are very easy to write about and she makes writing them enjoyable. She comes highly recommended by me!

This teacher is for people who have no lives and like to write papers everyday of their worthless lives. She thinks shes funny but she is not and makes you do stupid assignments. I do NOT recommend her..unless of course you like to work alot.

Great professor! requires you to think and do your work but she is there to help you when you need it. I didn't like writing before this class but love it now. If you work hard and show her that you care you'll pass the class. a lot of papers but she is willing to help you if you need it. every professor should be like her!

Took her for 1301 and 1302. AMAZING teacher! Even if you are not a writer, she will help you to do your best. Easy to make an A if you do your work and keep up.

Professor Angel-Cann is so sweet. She's always so helpful and wants you to succeed. She's very accessible by email, office hours and will set up time to meet with you, if you need to. She really knows what she's talking about-- TAKE HER!!!

Dr. A-C is the best English teacher i have ever taken. I took her for my sophomore level english and I absolutly loved it. I have never been a fan of English, but her class is amazingly entertaining and she makes it fun. Also, the reading selections were phenomenal... i loved this class!!

She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She makes things fun and if you follow her instructions there is no reason why you can not get a good grade. If you do need help with a paper she is more than willing to take a look and give you a push in the right direction.

BEST ENGLISH PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!.... if i needed another english credit i would deff try to get a class with her... she makes the subject very interesting and the classes are very enjoyable... the discussions are very catching and fun... This teacher is great! She makes the most boring subject interesting and easy. If you are not good at english, don't worry. She will help you through your difficulties. I only wish every professor was like her- it'd be easier. She genuinely cares. Her passion shines through in her teaching.

She is a wonderful teacher. You need to read or else you'll get behind even though she reviews the readings the following day. Her tests are hard in the sense that you need to study a whole lot of material but only a small percentage of that material will be found on a test. Highly recommended for a maymester class!!

She was AMAZING! At first I thought she would be mean and tough, but she was by far the best teacher I have had! She really helps you out when you write papers and gives you details about what you did well and what you did not on you papers when she grades them! Plus she does alot of quizes so show up, and be on time! But she is amazing and funny!

Excellent professor, first time I ever loved reading fiction. She went to great trouble picking out the best works for us to read so we'd enjoy it. I loved her essay assignments. Some students said she graded their essays too harshly but they showed them to me and they were garbage essays so her grading is fair. Dr. Angel-Cann taught me so much.

Loved dr. a.c she is funny, and she makes you learn a lot without really realizing it, you dont have to write too much. She actually got me interested in English, she is very helpful. Even though i dont need to i am going to take another class taught by her.

I really enjoyed Novel & Short Story with Dr. A-C, because she picked GOOD books for us to read. She's very passionate about literature, which makes for fun lectures. I enjoyed her class so much, that I'm taking World Lit with her as well. Yes, her class is a lot of work, but it's very reasonable.

Prof is very passionate & very good. I despise literature but she made the class fun and bearable. Lots & lots of reading but only two papers for reg semester. She tells you what will be on the test so study it. All teachers should be like her.

She was a great Professor, I learned a lot from her. She does expect you to go to class, and pay attention. She is a tough professor, but you will learn a lot. She may scare you on the first day but stick with it.

She is hard, but friendly which makes the class more enjoyable. Everything on tests is covered in class so take good notes. Without going to class passing would be very hard.

summer class for British lit and she is very entertaining and funny, class is enjoyable to, gets to the point we read several stories and have 2 papers and her test are not multiple choice short answer essays and matching which is hard if you do not study. good teacher though very funny in class. if you study you will pass

GREAT PROFESSOR! I took her Brit Lit for summer I and it flew!!! I barely read the book. Just took good notes and went to class. She gave me the chance to re-write my 1st paper since she knew that my problem was not understanding. She works with you and truly wants u to be successful. She's funny too. Highly Recommend her.

I did fail this class but i think that was my fault for whatever reason, probably the final i forgot to turn in =(. Anyways, BEST TEACHER EVER! She was very very helpful and I loved her as a person as well. Sweet as possible with a very quit witted humor. Strongly reccommended.

She was awesome and fun. Made getting up for 0 hr worth it. Five papers and a final. There were some random quizzes and participation but mostly the grade came from the five papers and final. I made a 97 in the class. She is my favorite and I have taken all my English from her! Take her!!!

Great Professor! Very fair. Go to class and read the material and you will be fine. Her papers are a little tough, but the majority of your total grade comes from the exams. Take good notes because the exams are based off her notes. She's funny and really laid back. She likes people's input on the stories, so participation is encouraged.

shes the worst teacher ever! i turned in my papers on time, and she misplaced it and counted it as not turned in! i even emailed it to her the night before it was due and turned it in on turnitin.com and she still thinks i didnt turn in the hard copy! she was nice, but did not admit to her mistake and gave me a zero for the paper! harsh.. i know.

Great teacher! I'm horrible at writing papers, but she helped me revise a lot of them! I was even taking the honors class, and I was barely expecting to pass but she helped me get an A. I highly recommend taking her class!

Keep up with the reading assignments and you'll do fine. She is a great teacher, very helpful, and very insightful on the text readings.

Favorite teacher ever! Class discussions are a blast, the reading is interesting, and she genuinely cares. Even if you don't like literature, you can have a great time. I never stopped laughing during class!

Throughout my entire college career, she was one of the best professor's I had. She's absolutely phenomenal!

Great teacher and pretty funny. The first week of semester I thought she was pretty lame, but then I caught up w/ her sense of humor and loved it.

Dr. AC is awesome. I got a 70 on my first paper and a 98 on my last paper. She tells you exactly what you need to do to improve your grade. She does grade pretty hard but you get used to her grading. I would totally take her again. We had a major paper due at the end of the semester but I had her read over mine before I turned it in and that helped

Great teacher, knows her subject very well and welcomes different viewpoints. Make sure you keep up with the reading and the blogs.

I am going to try for her honors class. I did improve on my writing, but I had always made A papers. Be sure to check up on the reading because she will quiz you on them!!! Excellent teacher. Very helpful and she will check your paper as many times as you need her to!

Dr AC is a very good teacher. She makes class fun & entertaining. I have had her twice now and would take another class with her. She is very good about helping you outside of class. Show up to every class & do the reading, you'll do fine. She gives good reviews before tests. Valuable & informative class. Not an easy A, but why just take easy ones?

Great professor. she's a little strange but it makes the class interesting! She always worked with me if I had to miss classes and always has extra credit work or activities available. I am taking her for my Engl 1302.

On the first day of class, she put on an "I'll eat you alive" act which quickly weeded out the class. But towards the end of the semester, she actually became the sweetest professor I had ever had. She does get off topic quite often, and makes you read/quizzes you, but it's really easy. After all was said and done, I got an A in her class.

Dr. Angel is an excellent teacher! She is smart and funny, although she can be a little touchy. Don't expect to waltz into her class and get an A, you have to work and you HAVE to go to class! She is tough but fair, and she is worth taking, especially if you like writing.

The only way her class wouldn't be easy is if the students themselves didn't attend class & decided to not listen to her instructions and didn't accord to the syllabus. Everything is laid out and is very easy because of Angel's helpfulness.

SHE IS SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!! Take her class. She's quirky and hilarious. She's does expect you to be able to talk about the material you read. She's very available to help you with papers. Class is fun and I would take her for any subject!

Don't be fooled the first class. She is going to show her best demon impersonation but actually is a great teacher. A must if you can take sarcasm and love movie references for everyday life. She will make you work and will make you to do your best. If you really want to write better, take her class. Only 5 misses allowed. Read the syllabus.

Summer II: exhausting! Seemed like a paper was due every other day! Tough when it comes to citation, and funny when it comes to talking in accents. Watched Slumdog Millionaire (with a pizza party) and Stranger Than Fiction in class, and wrote papers on them and on the Hunger Games books. Go to the writing workshops early, they're needed for labs.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. Very funny. You will have to write papers and actually edit them to get a good grade. You're in an English college class, get used to it. Creative and original papers go further. Quizzes after the readings. She loves movies, cats (Loki), comics, and Deathwish coffee.

Dr. Angel is one of my favorite professors while attending Collin, and I would recommend definitely say take her class. I have now been in her comp 2 class, brit lit, and American lit (which was all about comic books!) and I have never had a professor that makes me so excited to attend class. People say she's a tough grader, but I disagree!

I took Dr Angel Brtisih Literature I and loved it. She is funny and makes boring topics interesting and we lough a lot She allows 4 class absences Offers extra credit Very simple she assigns only 4 assignment for whole semester Absolutely great professor take her class.

I have taken Professor Angel for British Literature I, American Literature II, and English 1302. She is an entertaining and accessible professor. Her classes consist mostly of a few large papers; these are writing oriented classes after all. The papers are assigned early in the semester and she is very clear about what she wants done for them.

Dr. Angel is an amazing teacher that you can tell is passionate about what she teaches. She has a geeky side and shes extremely funny. She goes over all the material that will be on the quizzes and test, so take notes! Also, dont plagiarize, she will call you out. I would recommend taking this class during the Summer or normal school year.

Currently have her for Summer 1 session. Quizzes every other day - easy based off of reading. Oral quiz- she asks q &u write answer on paper. 3 essays each 5 pages long. Gives 3 choices for prompts. each due a week apart. stickler for citations. great prof. i hate english but she made it enjoyable &shes rlly chill &funny. loves loki, cats, coffee

Dr. Angel is an amazing professor. This is my third semester having her and I plan to take my last English credit with her next semester. She is a tough grader but helps you improve and get an A in the end. Read read read! There will be quizzes which you should get an easy 100 on if you read. She drops lowest 2 quiz grades also.

I learned a whole lot from this class! Dr. Angel is both relaxed and professional and is a real joy to work with. She was very clear about what she expected from our work and was always willing to look over our assignments and provide feedback while we worked on them. Also very interesting and fun to talk with.

Overall a really great professor. If you stay on top of your work it's a very easy class to manage. Dr. Angel is easy to access outside of class and willing to work with you.

Dr. Angel makes her Technical and Business Writing course a fun course to take! I thought she was going to be a tough grader, but not really! She is actually a fun and entertaining professor who gives students good feedback on how to improve their writing skills. You should take her if you want a fun and entertaining English Professor.

In this class there aren't any specific structures of writing, you write the way you want to but just do what she's asking for in the prompt (& rubric)and your good! She is so funny and lighthearted on zoom office hour calls, and gives us a reasonable work load. It's pretty chill, we only do 4 essays and 8 labs some discussion boards and that's it!

I enjoyed this professor, she grades according to the rubric. WARNING she will take off points for not following instructions!!! I did not have a grading conference with her and she gave me a 50 for an essay because of it. If you take her class read all the announcements carefully!!
