Expected for you to read her mind then was shocked you did not know to do it already. Was not clear in ANYTHING! Would say that you were failing if you did not number the pages in your notebook. She treated us like kids, gave bad assignments and her teaching made me switch majors!!! BAD teacher.

Projects: Love-notes, Observation journals, Reading log, Portfolio, outside class projects - work is based on quantity in step-by-step worded papers. Poor Class time management. 20 plus hours of observation in 5 diff. public schools - must take notes in observation journal - 10 pages an hour. Class Syllabus is 24 pages. Everyone struggles.

If possible try to avoid taking her. She does not explain anything and expects you to know exactly what she wants. I did not learn anything the whole semester. Only helps her favorites. If you ask for help she makes you feel like an dumb.

This prof is the weirdest i've ever seen.In syllabus she wants you to bring scissors,glue and most important- to make a pop-up cards(hello, we are in the college,not in elementary school). I am currently taking her class until august 12, let me give you a heads up about this lady. Well first of all she has you doing green books aka children emviromentals books. Then she makes you right doo much about and it has to be DOUBLE SPACED. In every paragraph you write she wants you to have the WHO, WHAT, WHY, WHERE, & WHEN ANSWERED. She gets really annoying with that. Next she makes you do a portfolio n it must be perfect or they'll be consequences. If it's not perfect, she cant grade it.

I took this class online and I was very disappointed and upset to have dropped it. The Professor was not helpful at all! She would always answer me back back rude or with a question. These class is the horrible class i have ever been in!!! I took winter semester , she is so unclear , have a silence reading each morning in class, I did 10 essay ,reading logs , portfolio, dictation challenges , tree research, so many things in one month. not recommended at all ! she think she is teaching first grade not a college student.

I took this class 2 years ago for a winter, I put soo much time into this class and even went to her for help and still no help at all and didn't end up passing. I asked her why she gave me that grade and she didn't have any reasonable explanation. until this day I have a fear of putting my all in a class and not pass. She messed me up mentally.

At this moment we are just 5 people and is the first week of classes. UNCLEAR! She has a Ph but she is s*upid as hell! racist and favoritism in class.

Took an online english 21. THE WORST!!! She really didn't help! I had to drop her class mid through because she wouldn't reply to emails nor would she bother being clear about assignments.!

Very tough woman, she doesn't give any breaks, i DID learn from her but she puts too much emphasis on little details that don't really matter , for ex: she won't even look at your paper if the header isn't perfect, if you don't have your paper double spaced how she wants, prepare yourself for the research paper at the end & the dictation challenge.

This professor does not teach, she just hands out the syllabus and expects the student to do the rest. Did learn a few thing at the end of the class, but all semester was all about "silence reading" meaning you come in to the class and read. There is no class where she goes through stuff. I personally wont take another class with her.

Disorganized! Didn't follow the syllabus at all, a lot was never gotten to. There is no grading criteria, and sometimes the work you put in is never graded, so you wasted your time. She takes up to a few weeks, to get back to you, or not at all. Doesn't tell you what she wants from you, and then marks you down for not doing it. Do not take her.

I would not take this professor again. Professor, Rosow makes you contribute too much online as if you are a full time blogger. I prefer having a professor that gives clear instructions on assignments and assigns work and for the student to follow through. This class is based on constant commenting on your fellow students and writing on a blog.

Never take this Professor, if you have the opportunity to take it later please do. This class is not a class you can take with this Professor unless youre a English major. Rosow isn't that great of a professor. She's exceptionally terrible at giving clear instructions, she assigns a bit too much homework, and she's responds to emails at the worst possible times. If you think you want to have her as your professor be weary if the class is online.

The only good thing I can say is that she allows you to revise your assignments, but shell count it as late and still not give you a passing score, so its really only for your own personal reference. She is extremely unorganized and unclear with her instructions and makes you feel like youre just not understanding clearly. Wont take again.

I was skeptical that the issues I've had with this professor were only between me and her so I've decided to check here and turns out I'm not the only person who would NOT want to take ever again.
