powerpoint notes were very cluttered and hard to read, but they were on blackboard (not as much of a problem). his lectures were very interesting, and almost all of the questions on his tests were on the practice tests. even though it was his first semester teaching, he did a great job! =]

This guy's ridiculous. I haven't learned a single damn thing in his class. All he does is give out powerpoint presentations and just reads them off. You'll be better off not showing up in his lectures and just reading off the book/powerpoint presentations he gives out online.

He was assistant professor to Prof. Albright. If it wasn't for attendance, it was basically pointless to show up to his lecture. Reads directly off Powerpoint which he posts on Bb. Will get very boring at times, but he does come up with some corny jokes to get a laugh out of the class. He's alright, if you can't stand him, just go to sleep.

He does seem to mean well...but class is over-all pointless. He doesnt say much that isnt already on the powerpoint slides you can access on Blackboard. Most of the test questions are in the review list of questions, so you dont need to take notes or pay attention. He is a nice guy though.

He was a very boring professor. He assisted professor Albright and I dreaded the days that he taught. He read right off of powerpoint and later posted it on blackboard. This was a joke. No final, so what's the incentive to learn the material, you ask? the pop quizzes that weren't EVER mentioned in the syllabus but we get anyway. 350 index cards were a waste of time, and went into the garbage. Also had an artsncrafts project - last time I checked I finished elementary school in 1996. I do not reccommend.

Worst professor ever! Bombards you with so much work without enough time to complete it well. Does not respond to emails. Does not care that you are taking other classes or have a job. Says he cares but clearly does not! Tough grader. I've never had such a terrible class and terrible professor. Seriously do NOT take.

He is responsible and clear. He is good. I'm grading my experience. I didn't enjoy it. I value face to face interaction. In this O/L class, there are DB assignments that quickly became tedious. Based on this experience I will never take another O/L class. If you like O/L courses go for it. As for me, O/L classes are out of the ? in the future.

Professor never answered his e-mails. He gave too much work for no reason. His discussion boards online were so tedious (25% taken off just for being late), assignments require you to go out of your way and do a lot of research. Did good in the class but I wouldn't have taken it again had I known it was going to be so much work.

Okay so Professor Elcock over all is a great funny person and is passionate about his work, BUT i would not recommend students who are taking more then 3 classes, who work or have any outside responsibilities to take this class because there is ALOT of work required to be done outside of class which can get VERY over whelming.

Professor Elcock was very inspirational and has a unique method of teaching and getting his students to accomplish an easy A. He's very old school. I took his class in the summer, it was ALOT of home work, attendance and participation is a must along with handing in assignments on time, however, at the end it will be worth it.

don't know who approved his syllabus, but they were very inconsiderate of the learner. too many assignments, very irritating in tone in emails. unrealistic time frames for due dates. a student's grades are put at risk with this kind of professor. not caring at all. i learned nothing; too busy completing assignments instead of absorbing knowledge.

Too much work for a 5 week session, very inconsiderate curriculum without regards to student lives. We take sessions like this while working and taking care of children/parents. The syllabus given at the beginning was very misleading therefore not giving students enough time to rethink staying in this class. I did not learn , very disappointed.

This professor was rude and unprofessional. It was impossible to discuss any assignments. He made a mistake on blackboard regardless on of the deadlines and blamed students for not meeting that deadline without an apology or further explanations. This is the worst professor i have ever had for all the years in college. Do not take him!

The professor came off as extremely unorganized. He expects a lot from his students. I don't mind putting in the work. As long as the requests are reasonable. But his instructions are very difficult to understand. Also he changed the time to the first class without notifying us. Then blamed everyone else for not showing up.

I look at some of his ratings and people are hating on him, because he gives a lot of work and expects a lot from his students. If you are over-loaded you might want to take someone else. If you are serious about psych and have the time, take him. My favorite course so far, and I'm a jr.

In class he's extremely enthusiastic and funny; however, the bad outweights the good. He gives way too much homework with unrealistic deadlines. The class is completely disorganized and the tests are extremely long. He emailed the test over a day late, TWICE! Only take if you have a lot of time and want to put in a lot of effort...
