Great instructor. Wants students to succeed & extends himself to his students. Full of energy and enthusiasm, never boring. Very enjoyable class! Reccommend his classes to anyone interested in learning,you will not be disappointed.

He explained everything in vivid easy to understand colorful detail. You can not walk into his class and not participate, he makes it fun and enjoyable. Know's just what he is talking about but will mess with ur minds!! In a totally FUN way. Not to mention he is a great piece of eye candy to captivate the attention of the ladies.

This class was AWESOME. We got to condition live rats! Mr. V is a great teacher. He knows when to step in to help and when to take a step back to challenge you. Laid back atmosphere but I learned more there than in any other class yet. The rats are sorta hard to teach but he helps you all the way. A+ teacher. He's funny and good looking too.

Learned a bunch and actually had fun. Wasn't sure if I was gonna go into psych before I took this class, but now I know I want to for sure. Didn't want to miss a class or for it to end. Seriously. Best teacher I ever had.

awsome teacher makes lectures fun although quizes r almost everyother class its worth it bc u get a A in the class as long as you read the material and pay attention in the class the class before. he is very helpful I took the online class but I didnt like it and was falling behind due to medical issues and he let me switch into a reg class! thanx!

He is an amazing man! While I'm certain I would kick his butt at Jeapordy, he would make the best opponent I could ever hope to face. He is so very intelligent and super handsome! I will NEVER forget him. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to have encountered this man in the academic field. Yup!

I thought class was going to be boring but he made it interesting.It was my first online class this is not a self paced course.It requires lots of reading.

He is a very engaging instructor.He is very smart and loves to teach. I took this as on line class and loved it. He posted all of the work ahead of time so if you wanted to get some of it done prior to the due date you could. Always responded promptly to his e-mails. Very understanding. I think I would have enjoyed being in an actual classroom.

Prof.Venuk is an awesome teacher. He care for his student and he make the class funny. Each week you get a quiz on the book chapter and his literature. He goes over on what is going to be on the quiz and give you a chance to retake his quiz if you did not do well the first time. A+ professor

He is the best teacher at NVCC! He is helpful, understanding, and compassionate! I missed 3 classes in a row because of health issues. He lets you take his weekly quiz's as many times as you like until the next quiz is assigned at he lets you keep the highest grade!!!!!!! he is amazing! and EASY! just attend the class and do your work (not a lot)!

Wish every teacher taught class this way. He lets you know what you need to learn, then he teaches you, then he makes you show him you've learned it. All the while making coming to class fun! Friendly and sorta cute. The course seems easy because he knows how to teach and makes you read and study.

Take this class online. Past with a B+ I could of pass with an A but I forgot a test but besides it test and questions and quizzes are easy and the best of it online that u dont have to meet up at school

He is my absolute favorite NVCC professor. He tells you what you need to know and the tests are very straightforward. There are also opportunities for making up tests if you need it. He makes the class fun and interesting. He's also pretty damn cute. Don't miss out on this class!

His class was challenging but he used life experiences as examples to help us understand many of the theories and clinical terms used in psychology. What makes him a good professor is his ability to have fun while lecturing. The best was having the opportunity to retake quizzes. Nothing good comes easy so study and read the very USEFUL workbook...

Ahh Larry..my absolute favorite professor at NVCC. His class was engaging, fun, interesting, and I learned so much. He has weekly tests and getting the textbook is a must! He gives out a workbook which helps a lot. By the end of the semester you'll feel like you have a new friend..he's the absolute best. <3

Very interesting class depending on your classmates. The discussion board for our class was always popping (interesting). Professor is helpful. Assignments are easy you just need to read and do the work. Overall, great class. Learned a lot.

Hes a great professor. He does take some time to reply to emails. He does give extra credit if you reply to discussions more than needed. Work is due every 2 weeks. You take your own time to do whats due by that date. Hes absolutely hilarious and talks to you like a real human instead of being too professional. I would recommend him.

AMAZING teacher and person. He truly loves what he does and there's nothing better than a professor who is not just knowledgeable but passionate. Not to mention he is hilarious, I'm actually sad to be done with his class, he is so entertaining. (He also provides all material, no textbook).

Larry is super fun to have as a professor, but you do need to keep up with your work. He may seem like he is care free and easy going, but if you dont do your work he won't just give you a grade. But other than that he is definitely worth taking a class with.

Professor Venku I can honestly say was one of the best professors I had at NV! I had him for Child Development, It was one of the most easiest class to take online. If you truly put effort into the class, you will definitely pass, just like any other class. He's very nice and will truly help you along the way. I can say I would take him again!

Larry really wants you to learn the material very well without just skimming through it , if you put a lot of effort in &amp; you will pass , he might seem easy going but he is not , he gives the grade you earned , Stay away if you think it would be a easy A . Recommend if your in the nursing or psych field .

Best psychology professor

His Hybrid class was so simple and all of your work is done online. You just have to read the chapters and do simple questions afterwards. He is really nice as long as you complete the online work and attend class once a week for a hour and 50 minutes you will pass with no problem. We did write one research paper it was easy. Great Professor!!!!!!

Awesome guy. Work is with reading. If you study the tests you will pass. He gives all the information needed on the tests. He even saves the students money. Youll understand if you take his class.

Professor Venuk is a great person He does weekly quizes but does a good job at letting his students know what is expected and even provides weekly reviews that mirror his quizes. As a person I came to love him by the end the semester, he is funny and extremely passionate about what he does. This class is highly relevant to everyday life

I took the ONLINE course. It was self paced. The only thing that had a due date was the final paper. Prof. Venuk is a very laid back professor! So long as you do your work, youll pass. Its a very easy A, and you learn a lot!

He's a great teacher I had him online. Course is really self taught, you just do the online workbook with the activities, quizzes and discussions. You can take the test/quizzes as much as you want for a higher grade. Easy if you do the work, nice and understanding professor!

Lawrence is an exemplary professor &amp; uses his enthusiasm to effectively direct his students to the enjoyable side of learning. He introduced me to the world of ABA through his behavior modification class and led me to where I am now, working within that same field. Easy homework/exams, just make sure to read the chapter, which are fairly easy.

Professor Venuk's online class was great to take. The class consist of three things; discussions, online assigments/exams, and one APA paper which the professor provides many sources for. You can retake the exams as many times as you want and basically have to finish all the work by the last day of the semester.

Genuinely takes criticism into consideration and reacts accordingly. Engaging lectures, easy A if you apply yourself. No midterm/final exams or papers.

Great professor 1 APA paper, a handful of discussions, a few homework assignments per chapter. Read do your homework and paper and theres no reason you shouldn't pass. Responsive to emails!

Weekly discussion posts with a series of assignments on Achieve. Two papers, both he gives plenty of time to complete and grading criteria is clear. None of the assignments have a due date except for the papers, which are due at the end of the course. Kind professor who typically responds to discussion posts and encourages students.

Made class enjoyable with his funny commentary and teaching methods. Sad to leave the class.

Memorable and approachable, laid-back style to teaching that is thought-provoking. He wants us to do well and allows the students to take control of their education while he guides. Personable and caring! would take all his courses.

I took an online summer course, very easy if you keep up with it. His grading policy is very simple and easy to reach. He's good at responding to emails fast and helps with any questions or concerns you might have. Definitely recommend this professor!
