She is very helpful, If you attend and pay attention, of course, you do good, but if you don't take it seriuosly, you will not pass no matter how good or bad she is. In my opinion she is awesome and very helpful. You just need to be responsible and decided to learn not just loosing time.

She DOES have an accent, but I was very surprised that in the whole semester she didn't say a word in spanish. Took her this past fall at Broward college south and she was awesome! She does not give extra credit because she feels that you need to prove her that you're doing the work and not slacking. She will explain things to you over and over until the whole class gets it. There are 5 tests and the final; she will drop the lowest grade out of the 5 tests.

Professor Ferrer is a great teacher and truly cares for her students. She is there during office hours, she does the hard examples on the board, she breaks down all the problems and gives out a lot of extra credit. Only thing you have to do is listen, work hard and never miss class. She truly cares for her students.

I was scared to take her class b/c of her reviews they all were either really good or really bad but overall this class easy. She does have a thick accent but you get used to it. Professor Ferrer is one of the best math professors at MDC North. I had her for MAC1105 in Fall 2018, and her class was nice and interesting. Even though her class was not easy, but you have to work hard for it. For MAC1105 class, if you pass all of your tests with A's, you are not required to take the final. I would also recommend her for 1140.

Prof. Ferrer is considered a great professor to have for math. I had her for MAC1140 in Spring 2019 term, and the class was pretty challenging. I took this Professor for MAC 1105 online with MDC Canvas. She gives a fair amount of homework and her syllabus is very clear. There was a time I misunderstood my homework due date and she will very caring and gave me an extension. You have one final and one midterm that are both on ProctorU. Would take her again! :)

An amazing Professor of Mathematics took her for MGF1130. She's down to earth and provides students with assistance for her math courses. She has well-accessible office hours that can be reached at any time. She tends to rush her classes a little, but it's understandable because she only has class once a week for this course.
