I had her for RDG 009 she is the most sweetest and caring professor that you will ever find at MCC, and she knows what she is talking about, she speaks in English and French, but if you want to get an A you are going to have to work for it, she also gives out chocolate at the end of the semester.

Great professor! I could have gotten an A in the class if I had shown up more, but ended up with a B-. Class is fun, and the articles and essay that we read are very interesting. The class is based on journal entries, a few essays and a research paper...not super hard, but not super easy. TAKE HER!!

She is the best Prof in Middlesex. If you need any kind help just let her know, she will does her best and help you understand whatever you need. i'd love to take her class again if she teachs Eng 121 or 122. 10000% TAKE HER. you will learn a lot.

Hands down the best professor at MCC. She really cares, and has a genuine passion for teaching and english. She's not an easy professor that will hand you grades but she's not a hardass that will make you bust your ass. Do whats assigned and make an effort.... If she sees your at least trying she'll help you in anyway she can....

The best English Prof that I ever know. She is very helpful, if you don't understand anything from class just find a time to go to her office hours, she will help you anyway she can. By far she is the only Prof who will really check your paper and tell you what you did wrong Take her IF YOU LIKE TO LEARN or else she i not for you.

She is an excellent reading teacher. I learned a lot from her. She gives a lot of homework and tons of tests but it all helps you in the long run. Make sure you study and you will pass with flying colors. Also Midterm, 10th week were pretty difficult but thats not her fault in all just study! =)

What I've learned in her class is the importance of vocabulary and how vocab works for critical reading. By the way, if you pay attention to the way she teaches and speaks in class then you will realize how intelligent she really is. This means it it's a great opportunity that you are in her class!!! I venerate her intelligence!!!

By far, she is the best English Prof that I ever know. She will help you anyway she can, all you have to do is go see her in her office hours then ask for her help on your papers or anything that you need. Extremely Helpful during class and after class. Funny and Energetic! class went by fast. Goes over student's mistakes from the papers on the black board. some essay readings were ok. other's i didn't like.when she assigned journal entries, she would clarify the questions. YOu will learn a lot.

Before taking a year off, I had her spring of '09. I loved her! Classes were always interesting and fun, loved speaking to her she is so intelligent and genuinely enjoys getting to know her students.

Professor Ghiradella is amazing! She gives clear and focused lectures. If you are not serious about attending class regularly and want an easy class DO NOT TAKE HER. Her grading is fair and her comments are useful for improving your grade on the next assignment. You will get homework, reading and/or writing every class.

Prof. Ghiradella is chock-full of awesomeness. She's extremely detailed and meticulous, which keeps you on your A game. Her lectures are interesting and she enjoye when students participate. If you're interested in learning and don't mind working you'll enjoy her class.

There are alot of quizzes in this class but they are just like classwork. Everything that is on the quizzes she has gone over in class. She wants people to have questions and is always looking for ways to make the class more interesting. Even though i had no choice in taking this class, i would take a class of hers again in a heartbeat!

She id great but always use 3 books and 3 test every week. There is always a lot of work but she is great ask questions she will HELP loves purple LOL. 3 books American 24k gold, the world of words, and Bridging the gap and The NY times paper. sounds like a lot but she's great

She is definitely not for the faint of heart, but extremely helpful. She helps you learn about the underlying meanings of certain stories and was fairly interesting. Do you work on time and continue working to improve your writing. I promise that she will make you a better writer.

Professor Ghiradella is wonderful. She does expect you to know the basics that you should have learned in Eng. Comp... just as a university will! She is crystal clear & helpful regarding assignments, & truly cares. Her love for Literature is infectious! Responsible students who put in effort will have no trouble passing. Professor Ghiradella was really helpful. I thought her class was easy but it's only easy if your doing the homework and actually putting in the effort. She straight forward and is clear in the class! Do the work and study should be fine.

In terms of personality, she is wonderful and very sarcastic. She's also very funny and include students in class. In terms of grades, she grades intensely. She goes through your essays word by word and you will possibly loose point if your writings doesn't suit her .she helps a lot but an A isn't a guarantee.

Be ready to read boring and long stories plus homework every class. Her workload is beyond rediculous. She makes you remember 50 vocab words for the test plus you have to put them into sentences. Passing this class is hardd. Stay Away! Do not recommend her.

by far the best professor ever! there will never be a surprise test or homework. she makes every very clear form whats on the tests to what homework she will collect and when. this class doesn' take much work and would be easy to manage if taking other classes. you will never be bored in this class because her stories and examples will always bring

Literally the best professor I ever had she cares and wants you to do the best you can and she wants you too pass I had her once a week and it was always 3-4 tests every week but if you read and studied and did all of your homework you would get an A or B. also she helps a lot if you have questions and she cares if you pay attention or not ....

This professor was one of the first I ever took at MCC. I am way late with writing a review. However, take her if you can! I can recall a time I did not do so well on an exam, and she gave me a second chance! She truly cares and doesn't want to see anyone fail. Plus she is so funny! She makes reading fun.

Great professor I took her for both RDG 011 and ENG 010 her reading class was just homework and tests and if you read it was a no brainer I got an A but her English class was more difficult but if you didn't repeat the same mistakes and gave an effort in your writing you would get like a B but I got an A in that class too take her if you can!! :)

2-3 tests every week but it was everything she went over the previous classes she was also really chill and laid back when it came to some tests take her if you want a good experience if your stuck taking reading because of the stupid placement test .-. She's dope !!!

Took her fall 2020 online idk if this made a difference? She was super engaging in class, didn't mind having discussions which made the lecture less boring. She can grade heavy on grammar. I got high 80's on papers for grammar errors; as long as u interact/ask questions she will be happy to help you! She's got a good personality as a professor!
