Holy crap, she is so easy! I took her class in Fall 2002, and I can't remember any other prof who is so easy and direct. Her class was my highest mark, and boosted my average. Recommended all the way!

Fanastic teaching ability and overall the most well organized notes of mine so far. She is readily available outside of class and she actually teaches you the material. Taking Stats 151 with anyone else is not a good idea.

Leigh is so nice! She is very accommodating, I had Larson for 151, and she is heaven in comparison. I highly recommend her! She teaches very slow, which good because it makes it soooo easy! take any class from her!!!

Very excellent prof. She does not run through any of the stuff she teaches. You have enough time to easily absorb all the information she gives you. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking to take stats. DO NOT take stats from any other prof(if that is possible).

i took the summer semester class from leigh and came away with a 90. i didnt even need the textbook cuz her notes were so thorough. now i'll be taking 152 from her in the fall. must sound strange to hear someone is excited to take a stat class but i cant wait! Leigh is awesome!

Excellent prof. She expains everything so well that it's impossible not to understand it. Many people found her final hard, but it was a joint final with 2 other profs. I would recommend her to anyone taking stats.

Fantastic Prof. I would take another class from her in an instant. She's the best to talk to out of class, too, whether it be about the class, or just to chat.

Best tecaher at U of R. Had for 151 and 152 and I would take anything else she teaches. Teaching method makes learing rediculously easy. I love this lady and her awesome suitcase backpack!

The class average for my Stat 152 class was 84%. The material in itself doesn't compare in difficulty to, say, Chem 240, but it still helps tremendously to take this class from MacKnight. You will do example after example, but she bases assignments and tests almost entirely on these. In short: amazing professor.

good prof. i recommend her. she gives examples for all the quesitons on the assignments. not to hard of a class, kind of boring if you don't know someone else though.

Not my personal favorite regarding subject matter, but she is a good teacher. Grading is at times inconsistent. I heard rave reviews about her before taking this class, and for the most part they were lived up to. Lots of examples,which is good since a lot of what is covered won't be found in the text! So you have to go to class!!

This class is super easy if you show up and take notes - there are lots of them, but if you take good ones, you don't need the textbook. The assignments are long but straightforward and the final doesn't contain anything not covered in class.

Even though Stats 100 is one of the easiest classes, it still helps to have a great prof. Although Leigh Anne came off as "snooty" sometimes during class, she does not try to trick students or screw them over. The textbook is useless but attendance is mandatory because she doesn't post her notes or give them out. Overall, one of the best profs.

Super easy if you attend classes. She is clear, concise and is very helpful if you need it. She makes stats ridiculously easy. I strongly recommend having her as a prof.

Clear and helpful. Only complaint is that she is clearly easier than other profs, the final was made by all stats profs and it was so hard. I went for help once and she was kind of snappy so I never went back but overall she was a very good teacher and I highly recommend. Assignments were pretty easy and she marks fair.

Fantastic. The best professor I've had thus far. If you don't take a class with her you are making a huge mistake.

Many people found her to be helpful and a great prof, however, I just didn't see it. She explained some things well, but others she didn't. Students would ask questions and she got quite angry by them. I would take her class again if I had to, but she wouldn't be my first choice.

She is a good prof and makes this easy class even easier. Allows cheat sheets for all 5 quizzes, the midterm and the final. Just a bunch of hypothesis testing and confidence intervals done a bunch of different ways. Show up and get an EASY a.

Best Prof at the Uni. There is a reason she gets rated so high. Lectures you just write down her examples. Quizzes are best 4/5. Class average was 77. Quizzes and midterms are nearly identical to her in class examples with different numbers.

I loved her class! I thought i'd fail this class but I didn't. She's very clear on everything. One thing that I did not like about her though was she kept going back and forth on the notes from previous weeks and also the final exam surely drained my brain and made me sweat like crazy. It was hard

She's very clear when she teaches and if the class all makes confused faces she's sure to ask and go over again. Theres a min of 3 examples for anything she teaches so it's so easy to catch. One of the best math teachers I've had. She gives assignments but doesn't take them in if you do them you'll get 100's

Best prof I've honestly ever had. She goes out of her way to provide us with so many examples and practice resources on URCourses, and the quizzes are fair. She's easy to understand and she is just so nice ugh I loved her and would definately take another class with her. What a gem

AMAZING prof! She is very fair in marking and if you have any questions she is always there to listen. You MUST go to the classes in order to do well. If you skip a class you will be so lost so pay attention! Class is easy if you go. You get to make your own formula sheets which is awesome! Don't take Stats 100 with anyone else!

She is a great prof that made stats easy to understand. Her tests weren't too hard and were an easy pass if you did the practice questions assigned. She gives plenty of examples and explanation of topics covered in class. IF you have to take Stats or Math take it with her. Also be prepared to do a lot of practice questions if you want to do well.

She really dumbs down the content you are learning. Make sure you do the practice assignments as the quizzes and exams are pretty much based on that. Do not buy the textbook, she already gives enough practice assignments and extra problems to do on UR courses. What surprised me the most about her is that she's got an awesome dry humour! Recommended

Great Examples in class.

Don't buy the textbook. She gives so many examples in class and practice assignments to continue studies at home. Crib sheet was awesome. Not having to memorize all the formulas really helps/ lets you focus when writing a quiz/exam. Love her grading. If you tried and were wrong, marks were still awarded as long as you made a fair attempt!

Allowed use of a cheat sheet during all quizzes and exams. Loved this class.

The content is pretty easy and she tells you what's exactly on the quizzes. The practice assignments also help a lot when studying for quizzes or exams because she asks similar questions on the quizzes. Would recommend

Leanne is an amazing professor. I took STATS 100 & 200 with her. I would not have gotten through the class if it weren't for her. She is brilliant and explains things well. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone taking STATS she is one of the few teachers that are passionate about what they teach. She should be the only stats teacher.

My mom took a class with her years ago and highly recommended her. She is the best prof ive ever had. She explains cintent well and give you partial marks for writting just the formulas and i would highly recommened always putting them on your tests to always get a mark. If you have the chance to take her class DO IT!

Gives plenty of examples and resources to succeed in the class, don't even bother buying the textbook. Throws some minor curveballs in tests but nothing that can't be written on the crib sheet. Overall explains everything very well, and gives feedback on each quiz on where the class may have got wrong. Take her if you can!!!

Lecture slides were posted, cheat sheets allowed for exams. fairly easy marker for the assignments and exams done. just attended and you'll be fine. online textbook for additional help but it shouldnt be needed.
