She took this rather boring topic and made it fun and interesting. The topics she chooses to talk about are very fun but watch out she can get off the subject at hand very quicky. Loved her though! Very nice person and easy to work with.

Though she can get off topic VERY EASILY- the class was still interesting. If you're looking for a hardcore structured class, you might want to choose a different prof. As for Dr. Miller, she definitely relates the material to her students.

I love this teacher so much I'm still waiting to get back into her class (going back to school). I have not found one person that did not like her. She's very good at what she does. Just don't talk when she's talking. The very nice lady will turn very mean.

Dr. Miller is an AMAZING professor. Her love for the topic is shown in every class, and her enthusiams really sparks the hidden inner enthusiasm in her students. Since Ethics is a requirement, most do not take this class for fun, but she sure makes you want to take it again!

I did not want to take this class but now I am so glad I did. She has a different teaching style, its not all book work. You talk about ethical issues that are going on around us which makes the class interesting. She only gives you necessary assignments not just busy work.

her class was one of my most interesting classes yet. her teaching style is laid back and you talk about ethical issues instead of doing a bunch of busy work. uses today's issues for her class lectures. A must have teacher for ethics.

very very nice professor. very educated, Bs in french lit, JD in law from stetson, the list goes on..but she is very nice and extremely easy..a little unclear on what exactly is going on in class and rambles about current events everyday.but you are almost guranteed an A...but you learn very little ;0/

I loved Dr.Miller, she was a great Ethics teacher, instead of doing a bunch of busy book work we had discussions in class everyday that were really interesting!! She sometimes gets off track during her lectures but she is overall a good teacher and super easy!!

This class was extremely easy. The only test we took all semester was the final...and even that was multiple choice.Dr. Miller is very nice and helpful but the class is a joke.

I LOVED this class, or should I say this subject in her class. There were challenges of the mind and where we each stood, or stand. Info was presented much more interestingly than reading from a book or watching films. She's fun and that made the new knowledge stick. I would like to take Pop culture with her too.

This was one of my favorite classes this semester. I really enjoyed having Mrs. Miller for Ethics. I like the way she teaches and exposes students to new ways of learning. I strongly recommend her!! She is awesome and all she expects from you is to enjoy learning, participate in her class discussions, and turn in all of your work.

Mrs. Miller is a fantastic teacher who involves the class in group discussions. Open topics and a wide range of ideas are open to debate. There's very little work but you do learn in a subtle way.

I really enjoyed her class. Today was our last class and out exams are on Dec 14. I learned quite a bit. She loves to lecture and she is up to talk about anything. Our classes main subject was SEX..lol Anyway the only assignment we had was one chapter in the beginning and then a midterm which was a movie. The exam is prob easy too.I Recommend her!!

She does not go with the syllabus but her class is so interesting and useful. I loved everyday. Do not get frustrated if you class seems like it is behind. You will be surprised of your knowledge when you leave. Does give few assignments (review quest), 2 tests, and a paper.

not a bad class, it reminded me of high school. Dr. Miller is competent, kind lady. A lawyer teacher ethics! Seemed like a hippy at heart. No final, a few papers, not a great deal of work required.

This class is interesting and fun at first, but then all you do is take notes and listen to her lecture about the different schools of thought of ethics. It can get very boring if you're not into details. She also likes to go over time and is very spacy. She can be fun and interesting when she wants.

This is a great teacher. She is very intelligent but likes to talk! But what she says is so interesting, you won't notice that she's kept you over!!! Oh and with her, you have to think outside the box. She doesn't follow a syllabus; she doesn't follow the norm. Great teacher!

For the first time I can listen and really learn instead of write tons of stuff and not learn. She is great and an eye opener.

Dr Miller is one of few teachers left whose enthusiasm for the subject matter is obvious. As a former lawyer, she's able to give poignant examples to illustrate ethical theories. She gives few assignments: just review q's, a paper and a final. Occasionally, she gives thought assignments&encourages participation,but only when comfortable.RECCOMENDED

Class is pretty fun although can be somewhat sporatic. She teaches class open minded enough to talk about whatever is on your mind. Encourages students to speak their mind and it is part of your grade= participation. Just show up and participate and you will get an A!

I came into this class not wanting to be there at all but it was a very unique class. She does not choose one side or the other on any topic no matter how controversial it is. For our final project, she spent a lot of time with me to help me understand these complex issues. She is a wonderful teacher(even though I hate the subject).

I'm sure what to say about this class. I am a very structured individual---and this class was not. Granted, it was easy, you come to class every day and have discussions--and sometimes have papers to write. The hardest was the CTAP. We didn't get any of our papers back until exam day which leaves you in the dark about your grade the entire semester

Absolute Queen of procrastination!! Didn't know my grade until the day grades were to be posted. good and laid back teacher but needs to incorporate some professionalism. Never got any papers back because it turns out that she lost them!!! so i'm pretty much screwed

very good teacher. I always looked forward to go to her class. she does take attendance but not always. textbook was barley used. we had one paper at the end 5 pages. She never gave us any work back. But I dont think she graded it anyways. spent a lot of time talking among the class about different points of very. She is deffintly worth taking.

I LOVED this teacher. Rarely do you find a class which is both easy and interesting. She actually cares about the material and her students and makes it easy to understand and remember. It was very much like taking an intro to philosophy class. An ideal for liberal arts minded people but if you insist on structure then maybe this isn't your class.

Mrs Miller was a wonderful teacher. Her approach to the class was very laid back and allowed for a very open forum to the class assignments. All homework (1-5 chapters with 8 simple questions) must be done (easy) a college based critical thinking paper must be written (3000 word essay) (easy) and final exam was a movie! Dr. Miller was a wonderful professor. She was very helpful and loved to initiate discussions with the class. Normally I keep to myself in class but she really makes it a fun environment. The lessons she teaches stay with you because she finds ways to relate the topics to real life situations. For our final, we watched a movie and discussed it.

Probably one of my favorite professors ever. Just go to class, speak your mind about the issues that come up, and question everything. Make an effort at the assignments and you will do fine. She gave me an A before even grading my exam because "my participation was superb". She is not "by the book" or "by the syllabus", dont even think she had one.

This is a 1 credit independent study course & there is A LOT of work!! I was shocked by the amount of work on the syllabus. It's too much work for 1 credit. You communicate with her via email & it takes her several days to reply back which is not helpful when you have questions. That's all I can rate her on since this course is not a lecture.

She is a great teacher! No tests, only had 5 assignments that took about 20 minutes to do. You don't really need the book because she likes to talk a lot and uses hypothetical situations to explain theories. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE. Really great & shes nice.

Doctor Miller is an AMAZING teacher. It was a pleasure to be in class. Work was so unbelievably easy. I wrote maybe four short paper and of course the c-tap (which she completely walked us through). And no tests. Such an amazing teacher. If you are able to take her, DO SO! You won't regret it.

Dr. Miller was a great professor offering a lot of opportunities to work with her on your assignments if there were any questions. All assignments have flexible due dates because she wants quality work. She does expect proper grammar and english and grades as such on papers. She explains the CTAP completely and grades fairly. Great class. Easy A.

Ms Miller is the best professor I have had at this college. I would happily take any class with her. She does short writings for her assignments, and has a modified CTAP. Additionally she does floating due dates and lax attendance rules. You could be 45 min late and she will smile and welcome you.

Wonderful teacher, lectures are very interesting. Classwork was real easy, CTAP was a breeze and she is very understanding. She bumps grades as well. Would take her for every class if I could.

If you want to succeed, really consider taking her class. SHe has all kinds of discussions, and she lets you watch a movie at the end of the term after the C. T. A. P. She even makes the CTAP a worksheet. The final is in discussion form, so it is really easy to pass that class. I would recommend that you consider Dr. Miller. I love Mrs. Miler.

This class was incredibly easy. Homework was minimal and answers were right out of the book. No reason to fear the CTAP in this class, mine was TWO pages. There pretty much is no final, just show up for class and your good.

All she does is talk about her opinions, never any tests. She did have one little "assessment" but it was open book and an easy A. just make sure you come to class and do the assignments she assigns randomly. She'll let you make it up too.

Dr. Miller is a very enthusiastic professor, who obviously loves what she is teaching. There is a lot of discussion and class participation, which is great for an ethics class-makes you think. She prepares the students for the CTAP so that is is not such a scary thing. I would absolutely take her again!

Cute little old lady who can be really funny sometimes and extremely laid back as long as you respect her and others. Only con of her class is that her lectures are SOOO long, sometimes irrelevant (like spending a whole class talking about politics) but we hardly did any work so that's okay. Very easy class, take herrrrrr!

Amazing professor - no tests, just an oral final exam. Would be better if she fielded comments from people who are just looking to be belligerent but she herself is an exceptional teacher with a great sense of humor. Dr. MIller is a great professor. No test are given, just a bit of homework. I took her over the summer of 2015. The majority of the class consist of reading in class and a lot of videos that relate to the material that she will go over in the class time. Very easy A, minimal work. You do the work and you'll do great!

Class is discussion based and there is very little work, a few pages from textbook and one CTWA (CTAP). She has older, donated textbooks in class which is helpful. Biggest issue: the fact that she takes forever to grade. EASY A!!

Professor Miller is great, she's very caring and wants everyone to succeed. There are 5 or 6 assignments to turn in a couple of which are essays but not long ones. You do need to come to class she takes attendance. The class isn't hard but I did find her grading a little tough on the writing assignments. She gives a lot of extra credit.

Great professor passionate about her students and discussions in class! Unlike other professors,she actually cares about your opinion on matters. Lots of opportunities for EC. She is not very tech-savvy, so you need to go to class to get the few assignments she gives,and an easy final. Lots of group work, but she respects if you want to work alone.

She was a great professor and the class was super easy. My only problem with the course was we had 3 girls in our class that were on the girls basketball team and they would come in late every day with meals and eat for the first 10 minutes and then leave class for the next hour and she never says anything to them. annoying I have to be there.

I liked Miller as a person, but as a professor I wasn't impressed. She's never sets a solid date that something is due which causes our class a lot of confusion; I also think that she grades a little harsh on the essay's or bigger assignments that are assigned. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the course, just wished for some improvements.

Ms. Miller is one of the best teachers I've had in college. She really just cares more about you trying and the learning process than getting a right a wrong answer so as long as you participate it's an easy A. also no tests, and the final was an activity based on a video than was only a grade for participation. Also she normally takes late work.

Professor Miller is lovely and goes in depth about the topics discussed and guides students via open discussions. She is extremely funny and we had a handful of assignments for the semester. It is important that you participate, I only had to write two or three papers with classwork/minimal homework sprinkled in. Great professor!

I never had a professor like Dr. Miller that helped me understand the importance of 'Community Participation and Responsibility' and how we as students at SPC are a Community. She taught me one of the greatest lessons in life: A community is much stronger when it works together as a team, especially with hands-on.

Miller is an excellent professor, and an even better person. She is very respectful about everyone's beliefs but Also knows went to correct someone. I don't have her class anymore, but I definitely make an effort to go and see her whenever I can. Her class is easy, but it's only because she cares more about the learning than the tests.

Most caring Professor ever.

Great feedback on assignments and made the online class very interesting. Not too much work. but decided our class already did enough and canceled both the mid-term and final exams. HEAVY READING. Everything is in the book. Great class!

I really enjoyed Professor Miller's class. She has a great personality and gets you to think. I liked how the lectures included both information, but also included discussions about current events, and scenarios to tie it all in. There are some group activities and a lot of written assignments, but they aren't difficult if you use the textbook.

Love Professor Miller, she is so kind hearted and she really gets your brain working. She is traditional, so if you don't like writing your papers, or actual class discussions look somewhere else

Dr. Miller was an amazing teacher and really made sure that ethics class was a treat. We actually had discussions instead of focusing on the boring stuff and taking tests. The assignments weren't necessarily easy, but she provided ample guidance and time to work on things and in the end everything was amazing

Most of this class is discussion about ethics in current events. You'll spend most classes just chatting with her about current issues. There are a couple assignments but they are not difficult and they are few and far between. Make sure you type and save all your papers rather than handwriting. She is nice and understanding. A very easy A

Professor Lee Miller was such a laid back teacher and so understanding. You can ask her literally anything and she'll always explain it to you. Late work is always accepted, but she's slow on grades, so don't expect to get all of your papers back in a timely manner. Overall, the class was really easy. She's got an english degree, so write well.

super sweet! She will tell silly things about herself, or stories. Work is not hard whatsoever— my only negative would be that she takes AWHILE to grade. I didn't know where I stood in the class until the last day of the semester. But she is super laidback, doesn't mind if you turn in work a day or two late. No medical documents required if sick.

AMAZING professor! She's very sweet and very easy to talk to. Very easy class, as well. I would say there's about five graded assignments in total. Most days in class we just chatted about current events and were graded on participation. She can take a while to grade, however.
