excellent teacher, if i could have him for all of y bhhs classes , i would pick him every time, not to much hme work, read your book , and a video recording of you and your classmate as your client.i would take his class, easy going , and very understanding.

Mr. Carson is a wonderful instructor. He does give a large amount of work but it's for the benefit of the students. He is very open and helpful. He also has a humorous side. If you have the chance, take any course taught by Mr. Lee Carson.

Prof Carson gave us a lot of time to practice the skills in class as we learned them. It allowed the teachings to be enforced and easier to remember because of all of the hands on experience. Prof Carson was also very easy to like and had a great sense of humor.

Professor Carson course objectives were well received. He provided practical information that can be applied in real time. I loved his interactive style of teaching. There is lots of reading but limited writing assignments. I would take him again.

Lee is very clear and approachable. He has worked in the field and has definitely helped me extremely in regards to my own self-awareness. This is the second class I took with him and hopefully I will be able to take more. Excellent professor and by not taking him you would be missing out on expanding your knowledge of self and the field.

Lee was a great professor! I learned a lot and I enjoyed the class as well. Class is based on lectures which review the chapter read, and group (3 or so) mock counseling sessions. The final project is a recorded 15 minute counseling session which you spend the semester preparing for. I would definitely take him again!

Lee's class was great! He's knowledgeable on all BHHS issues, his teaching style was enjoyable--I learned a lot! Class participation is a must--you'll have mock counseling sessions w other students; 1 vocab. quiz; and the final is a 15 min. recorded counseling session with a self-eval. that is mandatory. If you can, take any of his classes! A++!

I enjoyed the class he gave good exsamplies. I learned how to talk and understand the client and how to use open and close statement. I also learned how to summaries what the client said and how to refreance the cleints statement.

This teacher made it very easy to come to class on a Saturday. He is very open minded and easy to discuss course work with. Evan though this was the beginning to my Helping Skills Class I walked away from it learning a lot along with looking at the world that much different because of him. I would take Lee for all my BHHS classes if I could.

Professor Carson is one of the most committed thorough ,instructors I have had the privilege of learning under. His pedagogy (style of teaching) is very interactive and hands on which provides for good memorization and skill building. He seems to enjoy taking time to ensure we are familiar with the subject matter. He provided good resources.

Mr. Lee is an amazing professor. He takes his time when it comes to his assignments and lectures. Not only did Mr. Lee prepare me for the BHHS field he inspired me to better myself as a person and I will always remember him for that. I heard HORROR stories about BHHS 106 and Professor Carson. They were all false. I couldn't have had a better experience in a group setting. Professor Carson gives excellent feedback and is very insightful when it comes to the dynamics within the group. What a wonderful experience.

Professor Carson is so knowledgeable and so willing to go the extra mile to make sure you understand what he's teaching. He mixes the text, lectures and real-world experiences to give you a fuller picture of the subject. He is so down to earth and I hope many, many others get the opportunity to be in any of his classes...I took two this semester.

Professor Carson is a great instructor. I came into this class not knowing what to expect but my overall experience was great. The readings are a bit dry but informative and you will need to keep up with the home assignments each week. Professor Carson is very knowledgeable and is good with tying the course material in with the class sessions.

Carson was a great professor. He was nice, cracked little jokes. Most of the class is going over what assignments you did and the rest you practice role playing. There was one vocab test and a videotaped final. How much easier can that get? Also, the assignments were easy so make sure you do them. Very laid back, but informative and caring. Easy A.

I had Lee for introduction to helping skills on a Saturday at the NWRC and I initially dreaded the idea of going to a saturday class. After the first class, the dreaded idea of a saturday class was gone. Lee is a very thoughtful and intense lecturer. He's also very funny. Expect to read and apply your readinings during class with a partner.

He is awesome and Funny i would take him again. He helps so much with the homework and emails you back. He also meets with you. If you do not understand him he will explain all of it clearly.

This is a great professor. He makes you work very hard, but if you are going into the Behavioral Health Field or the medical field, he is one of many great professors to take. He is extremely down to earth, honest, easy to communicate with, and is a great teacher. He teaches at Temple University, too.

Professor Lee is one of the best professors in this field. His way of teaching is very interesting, and you will learn how to be a good Social Worker/Therapist. Professor Lee gets the whole class involved and it was fun being in his class. Even though a couple fights almost broke out. Because some students can't accept critical feedback. It was fun

Professor did a great job from the first class to the final class, very informed and shared relevant information with class to bring us a better understanding of course content. Professor made certain we understood what was expected when giving assignment and even provides examples where necessary. Professor showed great passion for his work.

Professor Lee incorporated different modes of learning in order the class to better grasp the various concept's we learned about in the textbook (i.e. discussion in class and online of real experienced, concept challenges via online polling ). I really enjoyed Prof Lee's class. I like his idea of sitting in a circle that way you retain what each other are saying, getting comfortable with your classmates, and able to speak freely yet respectfully. The classwork was clear, interesting and informative. if you take this class you will NOT be disappointed. BEST CLASS EVER!

I would take him over and over again. Hands down he is the best professor I have taken since coming to CCP in September 2015. I would recommend anyone take him if your willing to learning .
