Easy class if you just take the time to study. He ,however, plays favorites among his students and is shown by how much he walks around during th test and helps only certain people by telling them if they are right on line with there answers or not. Good instructor, quizzes each chapter, 2 exams and one paper over the summer. Entered my grade incorrectly, I had to reach out to him. He corrected it quickly. Quizzes and exam follow the text closely. You can learn something in his class.

This instructor has always been unclear about his expectations for tests from the beginning. He wants students to answer essay questions but his questions can be ambiguous at times. You can answer the question but he always says give details and examples even when you do. His feedback is not helpful. Very frustrating.

Dr. Grubb is a great professor and I really enjoyed taking taking this class. His lectures were very helpful and provided a lot of examples to help understand the content being taught. He is funny, cares about what we have to say/suggest, responds to emails very fast, and is very helpful. This is a class I will keep notes from to look back on.

One of my favorites so far. After being disappointed in another Mgmt prof, I wasn't looking forward to this class. Gives great lectures, clear expectations, and is someone I feel I could come back to for support later. Even tested to see if he'd get mad & disagreed w/ him ON discussion board. He didn't. I wish they were all like this.

If you are serious about learning, you want to take Dr. Gubb's class. If you are looking for someone to just give you an easy ride, keep looking. Out of all the classes in the MBA program, this class is probably the one that will most help me become a better leader. Dr. Grubb is laid back and approachable. There is a lot of material covered.

Dr. Grubb has been the best professor I have encountered in the MBA program. Took his course during SS1 and it was very manageable. Quiz and discussion post for each chapter, followed by a test after 4 chapters. Provides test review where he gives you the possible test questions so you can study accordingly. I highly recommend him and this course.

Doable summer course. I took this with 1 other course while working FT. Grubb is interesting, engaging, & quick to respond to questions. Every chapter had a MC quiz and required discussion board. 3 tests covering 4 chapters each. Tests are essay-style with Q's ahead of time. Exams: 60% Quizzes: 20% DBs: 20% with some extra credit built in

I enjoyed Grubb's class. It was not easy by any means, but it was a 5 week summer session so that was expected. Discussion boards, quizzes, and exams. He gives the questions of the exams ahead of time for you to study. Overall, I would definitely take any class he teaches and would retake this one again.

Took online hardest class I ever took. He asks lots of exam ?s that arent on the study guide. He also asks very detailed questions and wants u to basically know everything. I took this class online. The rest of the class was fine, its just the tests were very hard and dropped my grade significantly.

Dr. Grubb is a very nice professor, but his exams are nothing like the study guide and reviews he gives. The questions on the exams are confusing and are pretty much all comprehensive. Grades consist of homework grades and mainly discussion boards. The discussion boards are intensive and are big portion of your grade.

3 test and discussions every week. The test questions are weird and he grades assignments very strictly. I asked for help once and never heard back from him. Make sure you do at least 5 post in the discussion boards or you will not do well. The class is relatively interesting but I believe he made it harder then it needed to be.

DO NOT TAKE HIM if you have a choice! Class composed of 2 essay exams (50% of grade), a book paper, written pop quizzes (including material from months before), random live presentations (students picked daily with a name generator). Exams and assignments have no rubric, grading is up to his discretion. Rudely calls out students in front of class.

You might see a lot of poor reviews for Dr. Grubb but one thing I don't think the students did was give him feedback that was actionable. Dr. Grubb cares deeply about his students and wants to see you succeed. Yes, he can be a pain in the ass but honestly he puts on a good show. I highly recommend taking his class - challenging in the right way!

Here's the rundown: -Pop quizzes. Sometimes he'll give hints, sometimes not. Just review the slides and read and u will be okay. -Exams are short answer, but there is a list of questions he gives and he will review your answers before the test. -Genuinely the most caring professor ever. He will probably give some extra credit at some point. Do it.

Professor Grubb's class is challenging but rewarding. He provides helpful study guides and is genuinely committed to student success. I found using Unstuck AI alongside the textbook and slides to be a great combo for prep. Definitely worth taking, especially if you're serious about learning.

Easily the worst professor I've ever had for an online class. Unclear & Unrealistic expectations. He gives a weekly pop quiz for each chapter but expects us to be able to answer the questions faster than we can read them, I've never done so poorly in any other class at ECU, and I am certain I deliver quality work. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COST!!

Hands down one of the best professors I've had. This was not an easy class, but he gives you every tool you need to be successful. Excellent lectures. Engagement is key in this class. Tests are difficult. Start the group project ASAP. Ask ?s and reach out to him! He's always willing to help students with anything they might need. 10/10!!!
