hes a good teacher though very fast you have to be very fast he only stays on a lesson for one class. too fast for me but i hate math!

he was too fast he wouldnt stay on the subject for more than one class. but if u do the homework ull b fine i ended up with a B. im not a math person so that was good enough for me.

Was a very good teacher. He made MAT 1024 understanable and would continue to go over problems untill you understood. He does expect some previous knowledge of math but still is willing to teach. Overall, he is even tempered, nice teacher and has some funny moments. BEST OF ALL: He has some tricks up his sleeve that make math easier!!

Great teacher. I got my first A since elementary school in his class. Not because he was easy, but because he's a great teacher. My current teacher sucks and I would be failing if it wasn't for what I learned last semester. But he transferred to South Western I believe.

Great teacher! For those who are slow learners like me, he teaches & moves along very fast. But you get used to it & he is VERY helpful. He always has an answer for any question you ask. If keep up with the homework & you will be fine. He's got a quirky sense of humor, which lightens up the class. I would highly recommend him!!

SUPER EASY! Im horrible w/math&I almost got 100% for the whole class :) HW is super easy u can redo problems as many times 2get a 100 on it. The only problem is u have 2pass all of his tests plus the state exit exam. the good news is his tests r JUST like his review he gives u. Out of the 5 test I got 100 on 3 of them I highly recommend takin him!

Mr. Koratich is an awesome math teacher. He explains information clearly and concisely with no accent. He's funny, and he's passionate about what he does. You can keep redoing homework until you get 100%, and he'll answer any question you have. I would highly recommend taking him!

Mr. Koratich is a phenomenal teacher very helpful & upbeat. I was a terrible math student but now it's one of my favorite classes! He explains things very thoroughly (which may get boring) but you'll remember the information forever.

He calls on each student to explain the problems after explaining them several times first. calling on each student not just the same attention grabber who may or not know whats going on. I like that he is very fair with tests and has made this third attempt very educational..

Mr. Koratich is very organized and VERY approachable. Just make sure you know everything from Intermediate Algebra prior to this class bc he wont spend too much time going over what you should already know. Test are easy if you do all of your work and study. Explains things well. Just study and you will get an A.

Awesome prof.! he may move fast but he makes sure you understand what he's teaching! Yes he chooses people randomly to solve problems but i think thats better than just being lectured! he teaches his own way with some problems but they are the easiest methods! i would DEFINATELY suggest him and take him again!

He is an AMAZING teacher. I have never understand math so well in my life. Yes he does call on students and moves at a faster pace, but it makes you keep up with the program and stay focused. It is hard to feel lost, or feel as if you dont understand. He's too the point and makes things easier than you've ever been taught before. Taking him again!

His pace is fast but if you ask for help he does, and if you attend every class and do your homework you won't fall behind. he's an excellent teacher and he explains everything so clear where anyone can understand what he says. Highly recommend him.

This teacher is a great teacher. there really isnt a need to buy the text book since he puts it online. you do need to buy a log-in code that comes with the textbook. fast pace but makes it as clearly as he can. recommend this teacher.

Very clear and understanding. He cracks jokes and he's just an overall great teacher. Only gives you four unit test and a final and of course HW, but no midterm. He gives group activities where you work with others. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

This professor is beyond amazing! If you have trouble in algebra, go to him! He breaks the problem apart for you and really simplifies it. DO THE TEST REVIEWS, IT IS THE TEST!!! If you do not do the homework and the test reviews, you will not pass. He literally gives you the answer. Just study! It cannot get any easier than that. Take this class!!!

Mr. Koratich is an interesting and comical instructor. He's very direct, and clear, with no bs, and has a lot of simplified ways of explaining and solving problems. His mandatory group activities are helpful and make sure no student is left behind, as long as they're willing to put in the work. He's great all around and I would retake his class.

If anybody can teach you math it is Lee Koratich! He is an awesome teacher. Very clear explanations and very helpful. If you stay on point with his class lectures and homework it is very likely that you will get an A. BUT you MUST attend every class and do your homework or else you will have a hard time filling in the gapes. Highly recommend him!!!

Mr. Koratich is by FAR the best teacher I have had at HCC. He is very clear, witty, and has a sarcastic humor. He makes learning the material seem as easy and understanding as possible. I highly recommended trying to take any and all Math classes with him. I and everyone in my current class wish he wouldwill be able to teach College Algebra.

Professor is extremely helpful and has a sense of humor. He gives plenty of opportunities to do well in his class. I took the online class and went to a couple of lectures. Classes were fast paced,but very helpful. Emails are returned in a timely manner and communication about assignments is clear. Tests and assignments are graded quickly .

THE BEST MATH TEACHER I HAVE EVER TAKEN !!!! I use to hate math but he explains it and makes it super easy. I would take him for all math courses if I could. His sense humor is something else too but he makes you want to go to class. I deff recommend him !

Mr. Koratich is a great professor who makes you participate during lecture. You must attend his classes, his lectures are clear and if you have questions, he welcomes them. He used MyMathLab for grading, so prepare to spend a one time charge to even turn in work. Just pay attention and if you have a concern, reach him via HawkMail.

Mr. Koratich is a great teacher, very sarcastic, but funny. Very helpful, clear with assignments and makes the class enjoyable considering the subject. Practice tests are very similar to actual test, no book needed all info is in MyMathLab. Highly recommend this teacher!

I am horrible at math and consider it a miracle that I was able to pass this class with a C, I would have passed with a B but I missed one class. He gives 2 EC points if you don't miss a class, which would have landed me with an 80 instead of a 78. He is very silly and sarcastic. Some students thought he came off a bit rude, but just very blunt.

Mr. Koratich is a great professor. He gives you every tool necessary to pass his class. There is a lot of homework and quizzes but it can be done with his teaching. Dont miss class or you will fail I missed a few and it dropped me to a C due to me not knowing the material. Very sarcastic but in a good way. I am taking his 1105 class next semester

If you hate math, he makes it easy to understand! He helps a lot and as long as you attend class and do homework you are sure to pass! Gives homework extensions and group activites help with tests! Defff recommend him

Material is very tough. There are a lot of online homework assignments, quizzes, and tests. Every test has a practice test that is taken like a homework assignment with unlimited attempts to answer questions. Those practice tests helped me immensely. Make sure you do the additional print out midterm/final and you will pass with a good grade!

Great teacher! Helpful when it comes to hand on! Tests really make you work for your grade.

Mr Koratich took the time out to send reminder emails for every assignment that was due. He is very quick with communication and always seemed to be available through email. I was sadden to see all the seats filled for MAC 1105.

I think Prof Koratich is amazing! Easy A if you put in the work. Hes really respectful and sends an email reminder for assignments due. Amazing man would 100 percent take any of his courses again.

I took this class online and didn't have any issues. There is a lot of work that needs to be done but it is a math class so that's expected. The professor does a good job at sending daily email reminders on certain assignments that are due. You get a good amount of time between assignments so if you miss something its entirely on you.

He truly is amazing, I really enjoyed his class. It had been about 20 years since taking algebra. I had to take intermediate and was doing great but unfortunately I have had to miss several of his classes towards the end of intermediate and beginning of college algebra, I passed with a B but would have been an A. He really seems to care!

I'm very glad taking this professor for Intermediate Algebra (online). For someone who had to re-take this course, I passed with A in his course & I signed up for his college algebra course (online) to take in the summer! He constantly reminds us everyday when homeworks, quizzes & tests are due so we don't fall behind! I definitely recommend!

Prof. Koratich is straight up. Take his class if you actually want to learn. He teaches all that you need to know and will lead you to success if you put the work in. Do not expect him to take your hand and walk you through the flowers. Not overly difficult but challenging in a way that it really helps his students learn. He knows how to teach.

Student who passed with an A! This Professor is AMAZING and I wish that he gets a raise! I struggle with math classes in HS. But coming into his class I understand and enjoyed math. Tips to being successful in his class: come to class everyday, do your hw, do your group assignments, and do you practice test before each test.

He is truly the best teacher ever. I haven't taken math in over 10 years and I was afraid I would fail. He is thorough, goes through every problem, explains homework, gives different option for solving a problem and just overall an amazing math teacher. If i could, I would get every class with him. After having a 10 year blank I finished with 98%.

Professor Koratich is a great professor. He lays everything out in the beginning and makes sure you have a CLEAR understanding of what you should know for the class and what is expected of you. No surprises. He is very helpful and clear with his lectures. My first A in a math class.

Took Prof Koratich for 2 math classes. Very straight forward. You can work in advance, which I suggest. All exams were proctored. Make sure to scan in work or get a 0. Easy A.

The professor wasn't that bad, but being an online class I didn't have much interaction with him. As far as the class goes, there was A LOT of homework assignments and 5 exams (final one optional) which had to be done on Honorlock. You also had to scan and upload all written work for quizzes which seemed a bit excessive to me. Overall, okay class.

I am not good at math and found it easy, especially for it being online. I signed up to be in his class again next semester. There are quizzes and unit test, but they are not difficult. The assignments consist of watching a video (usually 20 mins) then a homework assignment with a good amount of questions There are many practice and opportunities.

Koratich is straightforward. He allows you to drop a test at the end and replace it with the final. I didn't take the final because I finished with a low A. Watch the videos, do homework, test and scan in answers. I wouldn't say the test were easy but I ended with and A and I'm a DE student. I plan on taking him again for MAC1105.

Professor Koratich is easily the #1 math teacher at HCC. I have a degree from USF (not math related field) and if I could take this professor for all of my engineering math I would. Do your homework, the study guides and the pretest and you'll be fine. I didn't use the textbook once. I did the HW and got straight A's. (Speaks perfect english)

Very reasonable teacher. Scanning and uploading work is given. I wished there was a little more leniency but it's college, you can't expect teachers to be lenient, as much as you want them to... (they should). Anyways, Math is very difficult to me but stay on top of homework, finish everything early, study for a little bit, you will pass with an A.

Took him for college algebra and it was easy. If you miss a unit test or do poorly on one you can take the optional final exam to replace your grade. He will message you weekly to let you know what is due.

He reminds you every week what is due and responds quick to emails. It's pretty straightforward. Everything is on MyMathLab. He does provide PowerPoint and additional videos you can watch. One thing is he does not let you make up any work and you have to turn in your work. There is an optional final exam that replaces your worst test grade.

All coursework for the class was through mastering. I personally didn't need to contact the professor but, math comes pretty easily to me. I can't speak on his ability to respond to messages because of that. Regardless, he sent weekly emails, so he's probably good at responding punctually. He includes an optional finally exam for those who need it.

I took MAC1105 online with Professor Koratich. He gives you all the information you need to succeed. All you have to do is utilize it. You can tell that he wants his students to do well and gives them an abundance of study guides and emails to make sure they do. He is also very responsive via email. You will not regret choosing him.

Math is not my strong suit so I was super worried about this course since the tests and quizzes are 90% of your grade but Mr. Koratich gives you an outline of what to expect on each and every one of them. If you study and work thorough the quiz and test guides you will pass with an A. He is also responsive to emails.

If you do the work, you'll get an A. Everything was on my math lab but you did have to submit work from quizzes and test on canvas. Super easy though. Gives you an outline every week on whats due. Super organized. You have resources from math lab and he even has his own resources you can use.

The tests were the exact same as the test reviews just with different numbers, so if you study the review you will do great on the tests. My only complaint is that I reached out to her with a few questions through email and her response was always for me to reference the syllabus. It did not feel like there was a human professor to talk to.

I took this class over the summer and it was relatively easy as long as you have a good work ethic and complete every assignment. 4 unit tests and 3 quiz per unit. Multiple homeworks every week so be sure to read the textbook and understand every section to be successful. There is an optional final exam to make up for your lowest unit test.

very helpful professor , never been good at math but he provided a lot of helpful tools to do well in the course. very organized homework quiz and yes dates. you do submit your written work for quizzes and test he provides guides for your tests and quizzes that walk you through as a refresher how to do every question.

Took this professor for two semesters & got an A both times. Everything is on MyMathLab & final is optional. Only unit tests and final require honorlock. Extremely understanding with the hurricanes and pushed back many assignments. However due dates won't be extended for any other reason

This class was pretty easy. At first, the schedule seemed strange to me, but it wasn't a big deal. The powerpoints he gives tells you everything, and his grading was good, and he has even given me extra points on test questions i got wrong since i showed my work. If you're good at algebra, this is light.

I thought this class was very easy, and I loved how it was set up. The powerpoints he included were very straightforward and really helped with the assignments. The "homework" was extremely helpful for the quizzes and tests. He was also nice with the grading and would give extra points for me showing my work. Easy and simple class.

Professor Koratich grades quickly and leaves helpful comments. MyLab Pearson was easy to follow with videos and notes. Homework takes time and some assignments have up to 40 questions. Exams use Honorlock. This class really helped me understand algebra. I highly recommend Professor Koratich for his clear structure and support. STAY ORGANIZED!

The study guides & practice test are identical to how the quizzes and test will be (just with dif. #'s). If you review them a couple of times you will do good. He gives lots of resources to help you preform well. I suck at & hate math however this class was incredibly bearable and I preformed well. There is lots of homework & Honorlock on unit test
