This has to be the easiest teacher in the history of PBCC anyone who is looking for a class to boost there GPA I reccomend this class. I mean all his test are open notes. you have to be an idiot if you fail his class.

I took Prof Liang for 2 science classes and enjoyed both of them. He is very straight forward and his tests come right from the lectures. I am not a science person but I was able to get an A because he was very knowledgeable and made simple tests.

I took this class online and it was very easy. The professor seemed helpful but I didn't really ask him for anything. You take four tests and have one homework assignment. The questions for the testare pretty much the same as the self quiz.

I took professor Liang for biology 1. HE was amazing his tests were all based off the notes no text book use necessary. He made everything easy to understand despite his slight accent. I took microbiology online. Professor was clear followed the textbook and provided notes and outlines that were very helpful. You must study, but if you do you should get an A with no problem. There are no sneaky tricks with this guy.

I took professor Liang for lecture and lab and he is honestly a great teacher. His power points are very helpful so I would suggest that you print them out before class. He answers any questions that you have and does his best to help you understand every lecture and lab.

I am grateful that i finally found an online coarse that was very well put together and organized very well. If anyone knows microbiology they know its a subject that takes time and effort. This course was so unbelievably easy it is almost funny. I never opened the textbook. Quizzes can all be googled. If you are just trying to get by Bio 1, take him online. If you really want to learn the subject, take someone else. His power points are rough to listen to because of his thick accent.

If you need to take biology online, TAKE HIM. The reviews are just like the tests and you have plenty of time to study and do the discussions. Just make sure to submit everything on time ; the grade consists mostly of 3 tests but also some small quizzes and discussions. Textbook isn't necessary as most of the info is in the PowerPoint slides.

Took his both online class and labs and passed with an A. His format is very clear and concise. Lots of opportunities to pass his class such as; two chances at his exams( lecture)both different but if you failed a test or wanted to improve your grade this is your teacher. Professor Liang is a great teacher. If you really wanna "A" you must really study for the tests hard, it's only 3 but that makes or breaks your grade. Definitely an easy A class, but it does require studying. Her tests are open notes, but he gives you the same amount of time as questions. Her sets up his tests where you cannot right click or cut and paste, but if you print out the lesson review on every chapter, you will be fine with passing his tests.

He was a good teacher. He replied too all of his messages within two days. His work was straightforward. Opens all units so you can finish Quiz and discussion board at your own pace. No final if you take all 3 test, on right dates. I would take again if he taught Bio 2. As long as you study the lesson reviews no way you can fail.

Professor Liang is a very good professor. He takes his time to explain things when you aren't quite sure of what is happening or why. He grades fairly and attendance is not an issue although it hurts you more when you don't attend class because you miss out on important information during the slide shows. No textbook needed!

This was a summer class, and for some reason the tests were open book. So I didn't do as much reading as I should, relying on being able to look up stuff, not a great idea. I don't think this common practice. His lectures are good, and can be really interesting, and then boring. The last test on DNA was the hardest.

Class is based on powerpoint lectures that you can print out. All of his tests are clear and based on study guides he gives out. He does have an accent but if you pay attention it's not a big deal. Textbook was never used. There's 6 tests and he drops 2. You can get straight B's on tests but end with an A with attendance/participation!!

Prof. Lee is the best . I would recommend his online class, he gives two chances to take Pop Quiz and Exams. Don't need the TEXT BOOK, because he gives study materials. Must read your lesson review to get a good grade. Please pay attention to LESSON REVIEW. Extra credit too.

Awesome online class, definitely would take for any other science class! PPT on ch, Video, discussion on video, quiz review(optional), 5 ques. Quiz. All until the end of that group of chs. test is 50 ques on all the chs. the ppt and reviews are what it's based on! 3 tests in total. ExCR optional on making a ppt. Gives 3 weeks until the test.

You take 6 tests, 5 in which the lowest 2 test scores will be dropped. Before every test he gives a review that is EXACTLY like the test. Only way I can see someone failing is if they didn't bother to look at the review questions/answers. I personally HATE science but he made it not only easy to understand but easy to pass. I was skeptical about taking Biology online and was pleasantly surprised. All the material was available and very clear. Questions on the final exams are actually questions given in the powerpoint presentations and the chapter review. Great and easy online class.

Easiest class I took this semester. Textbook is not mandatory but I bought and older version just to be thorough. 5 tests with proper reviews, drops 2 of them. Final is not cumulative. 30 points extra credit for attendance, -1 point for each absence. Ended up receiving 100+% in the class and actually learned. Great man!

You have ample time to submit work. There is a quiz after every chapter, a total of 3 test throughout semester. Professor Liang provides all reading material all you need to do is REVIEW IT!

3 quizzes prior to midterm, 3 quizzes after midterm to prepare you for final. Quizzes are super easy, IF YOU STUDY OF COURSE! To prepare you for both Midterm and Final, I urge you to go to the Science lab for tutoring. Repetition is key!

Online Course. Pretty easy because of all the extra credit assignments he provides which HELP SOOO MUCH! theres three test not hard at all just make sure to study the notes!!!!!. Discussion boards are easy and as well as the quizzes. Watch out for the deadlines.

Incredibly important class but quite easy with this professor. You can get an A with minimum effort and Google. Its easy to slack off and not do any work for a long time, I wouldnt recommend it if you truly want to understand Biology for your major. Professor Liang is a good professor. I took his class on campus and he has a total of 6 exams. He drops two of the lowest. It is important you show up to class since he tells you most of what will be on the exam on review days. This class isnt easy, but it is definitely possible to get an A with all the extra help he gives.

Great professor! He lectures for the whole class time, but you only have to print out his power point slides and those are your notes you write with and use during his open book exams. He doesn't give a midterm or final, just 6 class exams and that's it. Just come to class and get the notes.

I took this class during the summer and it's super easy. Prof. Liang is a great professor. His exams are identical to the power points. I also love how he grades exams by the next hour after you take it so it's instant feedback. His lectures are super boring and dragged out but totally worth it because it is such an easy class!

Gives you a lot of time frame to complete assignments. Most are due every 2-3 weeks with only quizzes. Tests have a 1-2 day window frame to take, but are easy if you study or read the powerpoint. Also responds very quickly and is understanding.

I took Professor Liang's online bio class and it was pretty straightforward. There are three tests, section quizzes and chapter discussions. It may seem kind of tedious, but it is fairly easy if you put in some effort.

Listen this was the most simple online class I ever took. Everything was organized so well I didnt even email him the entire semester. Im satisfied with my B.

This was a organized class. All the lectures were organized. LISTEN TO ME. THIS IS A EASY CLASS. Pay attention to the Review and power point answer all the questions and review all questions and answers on power point, The power point helps with quizzes. the reviews help with the 50 question quiz (let) it be your guide.

I took my first online class with him and it was amazing! He opens up all the lectures at once and a really nice guy!!! I recommend taking him, you will pass with an A

Very clear & organized course. He provides PowerPoints for each chapter & if you take review the questions at the end of the PowerPoint your guaranteed to pass the tests. Amazing professor

Took this class as a dual enrollment class and he is very understanding and is flexible with your schedule if you need to miss a day just let him know in advance. He lectures during each class and is open to any questions at the end. He also makes study guides which helped me a lot when studying for each test.

Professor provides you w/an ebook, reviews, summaries, PowerPoints, & lecture PowerPoint videos. There 3 lessons & within those lessons are 5 chapters to learn, 5 quizzes to take, 5 discussion posts, & one test for each lesson (quizzes/tests are from materials provided). There is an opportunity for extra credit. STUDY, read, and you will get an A!

this professor is AWESOME! I took him based on reviews. I think I recieved 30 points or more in just doing extra credit I did it all because it was so easy by doing so along with my assignments I earn a B. So glad I took him. I also worked ahead. All of his assignments are posted so you can do the same. LOOK NO FURTHER HIS THE ONE!!!

Take him! It's a very manageable class as long as you stay on top of the due dates. He assigns mini quizzes, discussion posts, and 3 tests. The course is very organized since he gives you the recorded lectures, lesson reviews, and PowerPoint slides. If you study those, then you can easily pass the tests. Two attempts each and extra credit offered.

This was a class that you teach your self. The reason I gave a 3 for difficulty is because you gotta learn it on ur own. He will help you, buts its more you. The topics are simple but can get lengthy as after all its science. There is a small discussion and quiz for each chapter. Then finally a test at the end of a unit(3). Just stay on course:)

Easy A. At first I was like whoa but no seriously it is easy! Discussion questions and quizzes that you can finish in one day. And then, 3 test that he gives identical study guides for, no lockdown browser. Spots fill up fast for a reason. If you actually need to learn micro, take someone else. But he does have great powerpoints you can self teach.

He's your dream professor. Literally. Gives TONS of extra credit and even provides a make up test if you missed any of the three. Super easy quizzes and 3 easy 50 question tests. You have lots of time to do your work. Barely have any if you decide to not do the discussions which are optional. course eval is 10 points. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!

I'll just say that the other positive reviews are accurate. The way this class is organized just makes sense and everything you need is to do well is provided. Spend some time reviewing and taking notes on the powerpoint slides he gives for each chapter and you'll be more than okay.

Take his lecture class if you can! His class consists of 5 tests. NO HW, QUIZZES, MIDTERM OR FINAL!! All tests are open notes, very easy questions. He also offers 10 pts ec for evaluation.

He gives so much time to do his assignments, quizzes, and tests. I focused on each lesson a week and spaced it out. The class was super easy to manage around my other classes. No midterm or final for his class. You most definitely don't need a textbook cause I ended up not using mine. I would definitely take him again for a class. Highly recommend!

If you have to take this course, go with this professor online! SUPER easy to pass. There is a lot of extra work like lecture discussions and quizzes, but that is because it is an online course. 2 attempts given on all quizzes and exams which is amazing! No lockdown browser required which was also a major blessing. Gives extra credit & makeup exams

Class was completely online, I like that he has all of the assignments open from day one. I was able to get everything done early and only needed to wait for the exams to open up. This class is easy, read the chapters and do the work easy A or B. You will want to actually read the textbook because you will need the knowledge for your lab class.

Lots of time is given to complete assignments. Only things assigned are tests, discussions, and quizzes. Nothing crazy. You can definelty contact him but there is no reason to, everything is really straigtforward. It was really informative as well. Plus he gives extra credit. Can't complain!

This class was super easy. Quizzes were short and straightforward. Three tests, each with 50 questions. Test questions were taken from study guides from each lesson. You should be fine if you do the study guides and understand the lessons. He doesn't make it hard. He gives you plenty of time for each chapter/lesson. Recommend this professor.

3 tests(50MCQ, 60minutes) with 2 attempts to get a higher score(no lockdown/webcam), discussions due at end of term, quizzes for each chapter (less than 5MCQ, no lockdown/webcam), for quizzes if you have 4Q=5minutes, 5Q=6minutes, 18 quizzes in total. 2 PowerPoints optional for extra credit, course evaluation mandatory. Graded on the point system.

I was nervous about taking microbiology, considering that science is not my strong suit, but Professor Liang's lectures were very helpful. He also reiterates everything for those who do not understand. There are five open note tests, one gets dropped. The only problem some people may have is his heavy accent, but I could understand him just fine.

Great professor! Has an accent but I understood him fine. Clearly outlines everything you will be tested/graded on. No homework tbh just quizzes, tests, exams. Be ready to study! Not too hard as he outlines everything but pay attention & participation matters! Extra credit as well. You'll need to purchase a lab coat. No textbook is needed.

I ended up with an A. If you study, you will do great. You have to study for the quizes,midterm/final but he literally gives you exactly what will be on it. I usually studied for the quizzes the day of so it was fresh and tests a few days prior.

Professor Liang provides thorough lectures, along with a powerpoint that covers what is tested on. He provides a PDF file of the textbook, so you do not have to spend money to purchase one. He provides a study guide with questions for you to answer and his tests and quizzes are based the same. No midterm or final either, unless you miss a test.

Best professor for micro online! I highly recommend him because his workload is small, easy, and quick. Everything is open for you to go your speed.

Such an easy Microbiology class. Small work load, clear assignments, gives you an entire month to complete them. Would 100% recommend to anybody taking microbiology.

Professor Lee Liang has been the greatest science professor I've had so far. He is caring, understanding, and truly dedicated to his students' success. Although biology is a complex subject, his class is well organized and easy to understand. Assignments have clear instructions, and he is easy to communicate with. TAKE HIM NOW
