Matheny, is a really good teacher if you like his kind of teaching. He is very stright to the point, a couple of examples and then move on. I like this type of teaching style, so I really enjoyed his kind of teaching.

So cool. His is a great teacher, i took his class and i learned alot. AS LONG AS YOU DO YOUR WORK AND ACTUALLY SHOW UP TO CLASS YOU SHOULD PASS. He also prepares you for the next math class, unlike alot of other proffesors. I would pick him as my proffesor anytime.

Follow his rules about keeping your portfolio caught up, and in order. Practice, using the textbook. Do your homework and go to class. You will pass. There are a lot of activities that are the same as Student Success class.

Teacher is very easy and simple. All material should be learned from each section prior to moving to the next section. Portfolio is the main thing. Make sure you complete all homework assignments on time and you portfolio is well maintain and you are there everyday. you should receive nothing lower than an A.

Awesome professor. Different but great, telss you everything that you need to do in time. Also keeps reinding you about everyting that needs to be turn in.

I enjoy being in this class. I have learn so much, and the professor made every problem look so easy.

He is a great teacher due but, do to the amount of time you have to finish the course there is not enough time to get a good clarification of the material being need for the exit exam or chapter test.

Mr. Matheny is a good teacher. He is very accommodating when it comes to missing classes due to emergency beyond your control. I high recommend excelling in other areas such as the portfolio if you are not a great test taker: Attendance + portfolio + lab hours must be on point if you have less than stellar test scores! Overall satisfactory.

pro. Matheny teaches really good to where you can understand. every now and then he makes jokes. he is a bit of a strict grader but i really enjoyed the class but dont take him if your not good about checking for homework online.

I enjoyed the math class. As an older student going back into college it was a challenge, but I am getting through it. The only down fall is the group projects, which is a great idea, but getting together was a challenge even with class time given.

Prof Matheny is a good teacher, he is very understanding but the only problem is that he goes through the lesson a little fast but if you needed more understanding he is willing to work with you. Overall he is a great teacher

Mr. Matheny is a great teacher. He is very patient and willing to explain anything you do not understand.Sometimes we get distracted because we have funny conversations, but Matheny makes sure he gets his lesson done.He can be strict with the portfolios sometimes so just make sure you do them right!! You can easily pass this class though.

Hes a good teacher hes tries to make everyone understand before moving on to the next section. Hes up to date and jokes with us in class at appropriate times

Mr. M. did a wonderful job with this class. He is very clear with explaining everthing from his lessons, expectations of students, assignments and what we should be doing when. There were a couple times he went too fast but if you ask he will slow down.

Prof Math: did a good job explaining, but where I struggled was the lessons and labs were all simple problems but the test was much harder. I would have preferred more complex practice or easier test problems like the labs or practice to be able to pass the test better.

Mr. Matheney is a great teacher with an awesome attitude. I really have enjoyed his class this semester and wish he taught the next class! He explains everything very well and challenges you with making the class tests a bit harder and I liked that.

This class is easy if you listen and do what the Professor says to do, I wished we could have done more problems not from the text book which would get people thinking more outside the box, over all good class

Professor likes his job and helps to a degree, you must follow directions, if you do that and attend class you will pass.

Mr.Matheny is a wonderful teacher, he is there to be your teacher and he actually does care about your learning. He is even there for you in the Math Lab to help you and other student. He really does enjoys his job and takes pride for Valencia he is a proud and great mentor.

If you are not great in math and catch on quickly I wouldn't recommend this teacher. But on the plus side you can pass long as you pay attention do your homework and lab work. The class test are hard so be prepared for a challenge on each chapter. I hate math and have a B in the class by just keeping up my assignments.

Mr.Matheny will explain things the best he can to get others to understand. he cares.Class consists of attendance,portfolio grades, hw and 50 min lab each week.he is straight to the point when teaching lessons and quick and short.Its all easy and simple. The lab work and homework help prepare you for the tests. Gives less hw then other professors.

This class is easy but you have to be consistant and have your portfolio to date. Do homework on time and make sure you study.

i am not a math fan and was really nervous attending this class but thanks the easiness and clarity of professor lee matheny this class has become one of my favorite.sometimes he goes fast but class scheduale is tight cant blame him.

Professor Matheny overall was a good teacher and he is nice. Sometimes he went to fast but as along as you pay attention and ask questions when you don't understand you'll be fine.

Professor Matheny is an excellent teacher, he teaches exactly like a professor is supposed to, he gives you everything you need and all you have to do is follow up and play your part. The class was taught in a classroom but all homework and quizzes we're online. honestly this class was broken down perfectly. I've never been good at math but Professor Matheny was great explaining and teaching all the material. This Professor is highly suggested.

Mr. Matheny is a very wonderful instructor and he takes time out to make sure that all his students have good understanding of what he is teaching in class. And I would highly recommend him to any student who is looking for a teacher that will explain the work and make the material much easier to understand.

Math is definitely my weakest subjects and this is the first time i have ever taken a math class and can honestly say it was pretty easy.The professor was great,if you don't understand something don't be afraid to ask he is more than willing to help you.Do not withdrawal from the class he gives you the opportunity to do extra assignments at the end

I'm really bad at math, and didnt think that i would make it through this course, but it actually was quite easy and prof. Matheny teaches the material for the final very well, and even gives you an opportunity to opt it being an exit exam...but just really make sure you do all your lab quizzes and you'll be fine.. but overall awesome professor.

Generally just take all your notes, finish all the quizzes and homework and you can get a passing grade.

Hes really funny and homework is easy just time consuming, tests are all online during class. He's very helpful hes my favorite professor, wish he was teaching the next class i need to take! you do not need a text book.

My biggest fear would be that I'd never grasp the lesson, Mr. Matheny is a very patient teacher who seems to enjoy teaching math and he makes it enjoyable and less painful on students like myself who seem to have developed a mental block to math. I am looking forward to advancing to his next class with more confidence than I had with this term.

This is a very easy class. Mr.Matheny gives you the chance to complete test corrections for extra credit. We hardly used the book, but we had notes to print on our own. The notes were straight forward and easy to understand. I will take his class again.

At first i was not too sure of this teacher, but he turned out to be pretty cool. He makes sure that you have enough time for homework and quiz correction. You do have to be careful though those quizzes will get you.

He had easy notes to print out, and made it clear when everything was due. Not a lot of time spent on each section. Short tests but they are all on the computer.

I wish he taught all math classes, I really enjoy him as a professor. He is very focused on you passing, he offers numerous ways for you to pass. The only thing is he rarely uses the book(rarely meaning like never.)

He is a great teacher ive taken him for the Math 1 and 2.Most teachers all all about just talking but he actually helps you. There's no way you should have the need to drop the class because you can pull your grade up with test corrections and he drops lowest test grades. Teacher well Recommended

Professor Lee is great. He's very helpful. He wants you to pass his class. He'll help you as long as you need. If you need him, do not e-mail him because he's not goint to response, just go straight to him. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK. I suggest that you take the quizzes in the mathlab before taking a test. Take him if you need to PASS!

The class in general is easy, you just have to show up and he'll teach what you will be doing on your homework. Everything is basically based on mymathlab all the material will be on there and that sometimes is more helpful than matheny (if youre like me and doesnt like asking questions) either way, hes helpful, and its an easy class.

He's a very good professor. he teaches well and it's very easy to understand what he's teaching, he gives you plenty of opportunity to improve your grade by extra credit class activities and test corrections. i enjoyed his class and wish i signed up earlier for next semester to have him as my 28c professor.

It was a good class. The professor was very helpful, anytime you needed help he would always make sure he stopped till you understood what was being taught, and he was very fair. The lab's were not that bad, just make sure you do them and make sure you STUDY!No reason to not make an A,B or C with all the resources you will receive in order to pass.

Very nice, easy going, and cares about his students. This class should be a breeze if you do all the homework assignments, which are what help you on the tests. He also gives extra credit through out the whole semester. Very helpful.

He's pretty good basically reviewing what you already know do your hw and pass all the quizzes you good

Easy professor with fast communication but a lot of homework per week. Lots of discussions. He really wants you to pass and makes that clear. The work is very straightforward but can be confusing if you aren't the best at math. I had to look up certain things, but external resources and taking notes during assignments helped me a lot.
