Rosen is very nice and works with you. his class is very easy you only have 2 papers due and 3 test the test are on material in the book and he gives reviews of what to look over you also get one sheet of paper front and back for notes!. . . taken him its an enjoyable class and not boring. . . .also i would recommend doing the radio shows!!!!

Easy class 2 research papers due and 3 exams but for our class he offered extra credit for atttending school functions. The Class is a debate between students and he is the mediator. If you are very vocal about your opinion and like to debate this class is for you.

Great teacher. I would deff recommend him. We only had one paper, and 3 tests, and for the tests he lets you bring all your hand-written notes. I think he makes it easy for all to understand and take an interest it. Take his class.

I think Mr. Rosen is a smart man who knows exactly what he's doing. The students who wrote mean things are prob the lazy students who think they should get an A w/o actually doing anything. College is about doing work and learning. Mr. Rosen lets u bring ur own notes for test so if u pay attention and make notes ull do fine! TAKE HIM!

Mr. Rosen is a great teacher. I was a straight A student while attending CFCC and found his class to be challenging, fun and engaging. If you a typical diatribe, that seem to thrive in our public/private school systems, you may want to think about taking a different teacher. Knowing the information and critical thinking is a necessity in his class.

Professor Rosen is a GREAT teacher and extremely helpful all you have to do is be attentive, which as a college student is your job and what you are there to do. He gives you references and tells you what will be on the test, with college level notes and understanding you can easily get an A+. It's 3 tests and one paper. I took him twice!

The class I took, State and Local was a fun class. It was in the morning, but Rosen managed to hold his own in guiding the course well. Alot of students in the class did not participate in class discussion and I found that as poor on their part. He would use examples and analogies that made sense and for the most part helped many as well as I.

Class is engaging. You'll do fine if you pay attention to lectures and complete the assigned reading. This class is a great way to learn how to make local government work for you. I have also taken American Govt. with Mr. Rosen.

Rosen was a PHENOMENAL teacher when I was in his course. Not only did he actually care about the material, but he DEFINITELY cared for his students. He has gone out of his way MULTIPLE times to ensure a student has the proper material for tests, and has even helped students in need of books obtain them. He's a great teacher, and a great person.

I took this class because I needed it, not because I wanted to take it, but I turned out liking the material a lot more than I thought I would. Prof. Rosen is definitely a wonderful person and his knowledge of the subject is incredible.

I took professor Rosen for Political Science. He engages students in intellectual conversations, and relates subject matter to the real world. He also lets you bring a page of notes with you when you take a test. He even goes over test questions. He is a great professor to take! Don't listen to all those negative comments about him.

I've never been interested in politics or government but his class is all discussion based and he makes it very interesting. I have never had another professor do such a good job or be so attentive to my own personal growth.

This was my absolute favorite class. Professor Rosen makes it interesting and is extremely helpful. There is a lot of studying but Professor Rosen provides help and answers all questions. His teaching style is great and I learned so much while enjoying class too. Tests were hard but you really have to know the material, which I am grateful for.

I took Mr. Rosen's class with very limited knowledge of US Local & State Govt. but at the end of the class I was very inspired by what I learned. This class involved a lot of reading & taking of notes which were crucial to passing both tests & final exam. He encouraged us to listen to NPR News etc I even took part on the Radio. Mr.Rosen knows what hes teaching. Hes always there 4 his students 2 help explain everything! Ur allowed 2 use ur own notes on test. So if u come 2 class prepared & do ur job then u'll do fine! Mr. Rosen was a wonderful teacher! I had absolutly no problems in his class,he prepared all his students very throughly before each test. I had no problem getting an A in class, and honestly looked forward to his lectures- he made them very fun, and enjoys his students to interact with him and ask as many questions needed to understand the material

Professor Rosen's class was awesome! He was so helpful and if you really try to learn, you will do well. He's incredibly helpful inside and outside of class. I took every class he offered, and each one was a different experience, but all great! I HIGHLY recommend him. One hint though - don't be lazy! You won't do well unless you're willing to work!

I took him for the two political science course. If you like class discussion, he is you man. He speaks so fair politically that it is difficult to determine wether he is a democrat or republican. He is more than fair in grading, willing to go the extra mile for his pupils. You will probably never meet a nicer person.

Professor Rosen is a really nice guy. I took his class as a DE student and drove 45 mins. twice a week to attend his class and it was definitely worth the drive. If you are looking for an easy A, interesting material, and a nice professor, this is the class for you. I took two classes (SYG 2000 and ISS 1010) with Lee Rosen this semester and enjoyed every minute of it. He was very clear and personable and made it easy to do well.

Professor Rosen is very helpful, you will need your textbook to write all your notes but if you take good notes you will do fine on his tests and there are two essays and on the day of the final he brought everyone snacks and drinks.

This guy is tough, but fair about it. Taking notes helps, but isn't required. He even lets us bring food into class. Highly recommend if you are a good note taker...

Good professor. All of his tests are short essay answers, and he doesn't use scantron, of course. Attendance is mandatory, as a lot of information given in class not in the book is on the tests. Pay attention, participate in class and you should get an A.

I've taken 5 classes with Professor Rosen, He is the best teacher I've had in my college experience. If you show up to class and take even simple notes you will get an A. He tells you almost everything that will be on the test before hand. Great teacher I would recommend everyone take his classes!

Easy class, take great notes from book and you will get A's on the tests. The tests are essays but they are easy if you have good notes. All you have to do is rewrite the notes for the test in your own words. Great teacher the 2 papers were easy. If you dont get an A its because you didnt take good notes. TAKE GOOD NOTES!!!!!

There were three tests,which were all open note and a paper that he gave us almost the whole semester to do . I highly recommend taking his class.

Dr. Rosen is a little tough on exams but if you attend class and actually read the textbook and take notes you will do fine. The exams are open notes. He is very helpful if you have any questions, offers extra credit, and loves class participation.

Loved taking this class, gave me new perspectives on social interactions that go on in the world. The professor is very friendly and eager to help his students . His lectures are not just a regurgitation of what is in the book but actual conceptualization to real world problems and situations which helps you take what you learn and apply it.

For the 2 comments that were negative you must be the ones who were failing due to lack of attendance or note taking. He is a great instructor very fair and very straight forward. His tests ARE OPEN NOTES! He is always available! And very helpful. Very easy class. Be a fool not to take him.

Professor Rosen is one of the top 5 teachers at CF. His test are insanely long however, you get to use hand written notes so the more time you put into that class the easier it becomes. NO homework and tons of extra credit. The topics can get pretty dark at times but it's an eye opener for sure.

A lot of reading so the book is required. Be sure to do all your assignments even if it seems too long or boring to do. This is save your grade if you don't do well on the exams which are not multiple choice exams instead they are short responses.

Prof. Rosen wants students to fully understand the material. For this reason, he provides a lot of different articles and videos that go along with the topics to help the students. Professor Rosen really cares about his students and gives tests that are simple (but not 100% easy) to understand and complete. as long as you take notes from your textbook and in class you will get an A! will take again and would recommend to friends!

Online this is the easiest class. Weekly assignments: read one section of a chapter and answer his question about it. Takes 30 mins or less. The more you write about the topic or give real life examples, the better your grade is. Exams are timed and expected to read the chapter before opening the exam questions. Overall easy A.

Make sure that you attend class. The tests are not hard if you have taken good notes from his lectures and paid attention to the news articles that are presented in class. There are lots of stimulating conversations in this class, it is not meant to be politically correct, everyone's opinions and ideas are encouraged.

Take really good notes from class, articles, book, and whatever he shows you anything written can be used to help for open not test, critical thinking so they are not easy by any means but if you read the chapters and pay, attention and go to class you will do great he gives extra credit as well, great teacher, I loved the class.

Overall good professor. As long as you come to class & take good notes from what he discusses & the book you should be good. Just prepare for his lengthy exams. There is only 3 that count for your entire grade and they are all short responses, be specific & elaborate to get full credit. They are open note though so just put in effort & you'll pass.

I honestly loved this class. I don't do these reviews but I will for him because it was EASY! Its my first year of college. I was taking 6 classes so you can imagine the juggling between it. I would take Professor Rosen again if I could. He if very helpful and a good lecturer. His tests are all essay but concept based, so not many specific details, what you can remember will be fine to get a good grade. He will also give you all the time you need for a test if possible. Professor Rosen does a great job of presenting new material as it relates to the subjects we are learning. The tests throughout the semester are easy and you are allowed to use your notes. Class discussion is allowed and is my favorite part of the class. The only suggestion I would say to make the class better is to get newer videos.

A wonderful class! Take thorough notes as you can use these on the Exams. They are essay written style exams so you need to be able to organize your thoughts to put them on paper. Social Problems is a good class for anyone who enjoys talking about current events, especially social movements. No exams- ever! You mainly write a couple papers and a lot of the time the topic is student chosen. Rosen will work with you if you stumble and grades fairly.

There's only 3 exams during the semester, that's all for grades besides extra credit. It's difficult to fail, just show up & take notes on the chapter & the articles/videos shown in class & you will pass the exams (notes used on exams)! Great lectures, but I would take notes from the textbook too! Three exams, all open notes. Exams 2 and 3 specifically focus on application of concepts rather than recitation of them. If he lets you come in early for an exam, take the extra time! He likes to engage with students and encourage talk amongst themselves about how to solve social issues.

This class is an easy A. No homework, no quizzes, just three written exams. You need to present in class and take notes on everything, the lectures, the movies, and the book. He let's you use your own written notes on the exams, but you must take good notes to pass the exam. Also on exam day COME IN EARLY, and remember to TAKE GOOD THOROUGH NOTES

Mr. Rosen turned out to be my favorite professor. He is very helpful and really wants to see you pass. He will go above and beyond to help you in any way he can. His class is straight lecture. You take down notes and are able to use them on the tests. He will even look over your notes beforehand to make sure you're prepared. Wonderful professor!!

Professor Lee Rosen was amazing. After being out of school for close to 9 years he made my first semester awesome. ALWAYS available before and after class for questions. Makes the lectures fun and interesting. Also has a great personality. I would take his class over again in a second!!!!

He doesnt give your average lecture; he engages with the students and provides visuals and other materials to help you master the class. If you feel stuck, hes there to help. Fantastic! You could only fail his class by not putting in any effort. He cares about his students and will help if you ask. This is essay heavy but it prepares you for writing in the future as well as helps you apply critical thinking skills to solve social issues. Take his course if you are going into medical, criminal justice, or social work.

His lectures are engaging, informative, and we are encouraged to discuss social matters and recent events. With in-person lectures, we are able to give our perspectives and thoughts on social issues that may arise in lecture. This allows us to examine events from different angles and to discuss why it occurred and what the possible outcomes are.

I have a lot of respect for Professor Rosen; he is a Great professor and cares about what he teaches and the students. I also appreciate the fact he allows the opportunity for extra credit.

Professor Rosen was one of the best professors I've ever had in my college experience. He was great at lecturing and making sure we understood the topic. He also assigned reading assignments and papers before the test. I didn't understand why, but when I took the exams it made me understand the questions and how to answer them so much better.

I got a high A in the class and it wasnt too difficult. As long as you show up and pay attention, you should be fine. He also did allow notes for the test so I would highly recommend taking those notes haha. I would take another of his classes for sure

Grade mainly by exams which you could use your notes on. Maybe like 2 assignment & no homework. Overall very easy class with lots of extra credit, but the course itself was scattered and there wasn't a clear rubric or anything of what he wanted from the few assignments we did do. I think his goal was to kinda leave the floor open for students.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. I found the material to be interesting and I learned a lot throughout the class. Professor Rosen is such a kind man who genuinely cares about every student in his class. Grading criteria was very clear and his grading was always fair.

Professor Rosen's class was pretty easy. He was fair and very lenient. The homework we had was to read and take notes on the chapters. The notes taken from the chapters were allowed to be used during the tests. I have unmedicated ADD/ADHD and have a bad memory, so this saved my life. Lots of extra credit opportunities too.
