Says you will get an A if you just pay attention in his class, he's sadly wrong! I never missed a class, took 500 pages of notes and I still miserably failed both his exams, as did 95% of the class!

Knows Accounting like the back of his hand. He's fairly easy. Just pay attention inorder to pass the weekly quizzes.
He is soooooooo awesome! Sometimes he forgets what he's talking about, but he is SO knowledgeable. Some may call him abrasive, but he just doesn't like stupid people. He wants each one of his students to be a (quote) sharp (endquote) person.
Tests are hard. Weekly quizzes. Gives a project for an extra 20pts on you final.
Do not take any other accounting 204 professor but him. Almost everyone I know who took 204 got a D or LOWER with other professors. All of professor T's students get C's or better. If you fail his class, you don't deserve to be in a university.

I don't know why people fear him. Granted, he does have a way of making people feel stupid, but don't take it to heart, he never holds it against you. He just doesn't like smart-asses.

I don't know why everyone complains about managerial accounting, it's actually WAY easier than 203! L-Tag is awesome. A must take if you want to learn something; avoid only if you're lazy and have no concept of doing work required of average college kids.
Hes a sweet man, but im not sure about his teaching style. half of the time you wonder what hes talking about, and he writes too damn small!! Also loves to repeat the same stories every week, that take up half of the class time. Need to study on you own.

Easy A, but if you are an accounting major, I would not recommend taking, because you will not get a firm grasp on the material, which is needed to survive ACC 319. He's basically a crotchety old man who doesn't like teaching, or being questioned. Only take if you are a lazy marketing major.

I am an ACC major and this being my 1st ACC class and I am doing very well. Be prepared for a weekly quiz and unclear methods of teaching. The guy from the clear eyes commercial now teaches ACC. Do some studying (or be good in basic math) and you do well
Great prof! If you have good listening skills, you will get a good grade and will understand it too! Quizzes every class are a bummer, but he constantly repeats the material. The class is a fare amount of work, but I didn't have to open the book once! BTW I failed Acc 204 before with E. Spencer :)
Very unclear teaching method and kinda confusing when he explains the problems. If you take this guy you really are on your own plus you have a quiz every week. Long and extremely boring class. Prepare yourself and study alot if you want to take him.
Great teacher, teaches at a very good pace. If you are interested in accounting, this is the teacher to take. IF you are not interested in accounting, and just want to get the credits, not the teacher for you.
He is very helpful, just go to his office hours. He emails you the practice exam, which is identical to the quiz in class. When reviews for an exam gives you answers...Take him!
He does not agree with the book & only need book for HW. Quizes every week are based on his teachings. Mid-term and Final are department's. He does answer questions when you ask and does do review for mid-term and final. He tends to rant about things and raise his voice.

This class is not easy...It is very analytical. Great professor who teaches all of the material. You must study and review the practice problems and quizzes for the exams but fully understand not memorize!! He reiterates this through the semester and you will see what he means come exam time.

I'm an ccounting major, and I tooke Prof. TAG FOR Acc 203 204 & 301....I got 3 A's. There's some work involved....but he give's you everything you need for the 2 tests and the practice quizzes. Great Professor....who simply loves accounting!!!
Teaches fast. Hard to keep up. Study the chapter before the lecture, it will be more clear. Do HW when assigned. Prepare for all quizzes. READ THE CHAPTER. Don't cram for this class. Do the work as it is assigned. Practice the problems as many times as you can. At least twice. I did most of the latter and I earned a C+ for summer session II '05.

The guys is a freak!!! Only believes in his was of learning, so if you don't get him, you can't rely on the book. When asked to repeat or told that someone doesn't understand, calls the person stupid for not understanding.
wonderful professor. he is so dedicated into teaching his students and will go through all menas to help you. Tang is an old man with a slight hunchback and sometimes cant hear but that doesnt stop him from being great at what he does. Definitely recommand him...he is one of the best at pace.

Passionate about teaching & knowledgeable, but don't always ask questions even though he says to ask. Teaches differently from book, a bit more understandable, lots of HW, take home work, & quizzes every class. On a one on one he is quite nice. He is a very bright, intelligent, caring man who means well. Would I take him again? Maybe not.

Easy A. If you don't get an A with Tag, you are a hopeless idiot. He clearly shows you how to solve all the problems that will be on your midterm and final, gives the easiest quizes, and offers homework to boost your grade. The class was difficult but he does curve at the end. There are 10 quizzes and he drops 3 of them. The homework is worth 5% and he posts the homework answers on blackboard. The quizzes are easy, just study. I HATE ACC but this class was okay

WORST PROFESSOR EVER! He curved every1s grade for the midterm because the ENTIRE was borderline failing. The only students who passed in my class are the ones who got private tutors. Rarely uses textbook in class, only used if you need to reconfirm the stuff he taught in class. He may be old and boring but it was easy for me to understand when I hate math with a passion.

Bring coffee with you to class as his lectures are quite a bore. He gives weekly quizzes which are good to help your grade. Although its hard to pay attention for those full 2 hours of class, especially when you hate accounting as much as I do, he is a decent professor, and I wouldn't dread it if I had to take his class again.

He's a nice man, means well. But, should consider retiring. He encourages you not to buy the textbook. But, do yourself and BUY it. Doesn't like to answer questions and goes on rants that indirectly offend everyone because he calls all of us stupid because we do not understand his teaching style. Professor Rabinowitz is MUCH better!

This teacher (even though very old) is AMAZING. He DOES NOT use the book at all and if you PAY ATTENTION, you will learn the material. He tells you to leave all your problems at the door and come in to focus strictly on ACC----YOU MUST DO THIS. I thought I was not going to pass the class and I received a B+. And trust me, I hate ACC. -->TAKE HIM.
Took class in the summer-big mistake. Attendance is mandatory since there is a quiz EVERYDAY. Prof gave handouts for lectures. I failed the midterm and sought help- I continued to fail quizzes, and 99.9% positive I failed the final. I still managed to get a passing grade. This was my last class for graduation and I could not have been happier.
