I have an A so far. I was never into History but her class is fun and I'm taking her 1302 class in Spring. She gives way too much work I do admit, if you are looking for an easy A don't take her class. Her tests are also hard but she gives a curve and gives you lots of extra credit options. If you read the book and attend class you'll make an A!

I took her for 1301 and moved on to her 1302 class (almost over half the class continued to her 1302 class as well). Her class is fun and she is very helpful... hw can be a little excessive but it will help you on the exams. People who complain about her class just want an A handed to them, but hey welcome to the real world.

WHAT I REALLY LOVED ABOUT MRS. REGENOLD IS THAT, OTHER THAN SHE IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER, SHE WILL PROVIDE DIFFERENT ALTERNATIVES TO GET A GOOD GRADE ON HER CLASS.LOVE HER CLASS I LEARN SO MUCH. THANK YOU MRS REGENOLD.

Good teacher, knows govt. Some outside homework, but not a fan of her group projects. Reading quizzes help grade and she's very fair and extremely helpful. Lots of ways to earn extra credit and get a good grade. Uses computer alot.

She is a GREAT teacher! Very clear on what she wants, you follow the rules and do the work, and the result is an A. She expects you to read and participate in class discussions, but her discussions are fun! She's very relaxed and will help students with whatever there needs are. i definitely RECOMMEND!

She rocks, you do have to do a little work in her class, but you will learn a lot and she is an awesome teacher.

Professor Regenold is an awesome teacher. I only failed because I hardly made it to class on time. Mandatory attendance type of class. After a certain time, for example 10mins after class starts, she shuts the door and says that you will not be able to enter the classroom once the door is shut. This class is based on book quizzes and participation

Very fun professor, she has a lot of interesting stories that spice up her lectures. The class is very clear with reading quizzes straight out of the book. The tests are sometimes tricky, but she drops questions and applies a curve. Extra credit for watching movies or writing a paper. Some writing assignments and group projects for homework.

She's AWESOME! Funny lectures and great class conversations. Lots of homework options, but you don't have to do them all. Tests are kinda hard, but she curves and throws questions out. Plus, she gives exta credit. Didn't mind coming to class, even in the summer.

One of my favorite professors. Took her for a maymester and was a breeze as long as you turned in your work and read the book. Attendance is mandatory she's very nitpicking about that so make sure to go plus it makes class easier. Very passionate and knowledgable during lectures and willing to help when ever needed.

Prof. Regenold's class is easy! It's concentrated on a points based system where there are mandatory and optional assignments. Simply complete the necessary ones and you'll get an A! Very sweet lady, I love how she emphasizes group work. Def make friends here. The class trip to Hurst City Hall is eye opening and the highlight of the class!

Pretty good class and nice teacher. Lots of assignments and reading but its online. She was very helpful when I emailed and had optional assignments to help earn points. Not an easy class but I know more about goverment now.

ONLINE- Mrs. Regenold is very organized, HW per week is in a folder.There is weekly quizzes on the chapter that is due on Thursdays and then she has an assignment due on Sunday. There are some mandatory assignments. If you do the work you'll receive your A. She Grades slow but replies to emails fast.

It's an easy A if you do ALL the assignments

Ms Reginold was great! Online was straight forward and mostly from the book and lessons. Homework wasn't "busy" work and helped with the tests. Grades SLOW but is quick a about answering email.

Her tests are really hard even when you study a lot, especially the first page. There are too many essays but she's not too harsh of a grader. I wouldn't take this class if you miss more than one day or have any other class that's not a breeze. You will be so busy and probably have to lose sleep.

She gives you more assignments at the beginning and then tapers off at the end - amazing if you burn out towards the end of semester like I do. Her instructions are clear, she responds to emails even if it may take a couple days. Assignments and tests are easy. Gives decent feedback. Slow grader though. Definitely taking her Texas Gov class.

I love Mrs. Regenold. Her class is VERY hard but totally worth it. There are a lot of assignments that have to be completed that require a lot of time but when I was finished with the class I had a much better understanding of how the government works and what I can do to change things. She is very helpful and obviously loves her subject.

Quizzes on every chapter, but they are word for word from the book & you get unlimited tries. Discussion boards are easy 100's just do them. Be prepared for "larger" assignments weekly, such as short papers and power points. I work full time and do school full time and still have an A in her class. Honestly if you just show effort you'll get an A.

Regenold is passionate about the workings of government as well as teaching. She is super knowledgable and down to Earth. She creates a very comfortable learning environment. Its too bad she teaches government and not business so I could take more of her classes. I highly encourage you to sign up for Regenold's course if it is available.

she expects you to come to class having already read the material because she just skims over the tough stuff and expects you to bring any questions about the text to class. it's not hard to get a good grade, but As are not handed out. she definitely is looking to help you pass and understand the material. great government teacher!

Great teacher. Not to take if you want an easy A. A lot of works and especially ALOT OF GROUP WORK.

Taken for dual-credit. Lectures from powerpoints, also found on Blackboard. She was strict on "critical thinking" responses from her assignments, especially the essays. 3 essays, and one or two group assignments. She grades you by participation so be prepared. Quizzes were online, you could Google them instead of reading, didn't use the book much.

Professor Regenold's class is very entertaining and often veers off topic. However, don't learn much of the course material and are expected to do a lot of out of class reading. There are a LOT of group activities and group projects. Overall, it is an interesting class and Prof Regenold cares a lot and is always willing to help!

Regenold is the bomb! Great teacher and her discussions are funny. Tests are hard, but she offers a lot of extra credit. Class has 4-5 group-type projects, but most of your grade comes from your own work. Learned useful stuff, not just book facts. City council meeting was fun, and she took us to dinner! Taking her again for other govt class.

Professor Regenold is by far one of my favorite professors this semester. She is hilarious and makes class so much fun! Tests are pretty hard but she gives opportunities to make up points. Mrs. Regenold is by far my favorite professor. I came in this her class only because it was needed for my degree, after the semester was over I understand more about the federal govt. She is very passionate about her work, her test are hard but gives you extra credit and other perks, only 4 test and online quizzes if u do ur wrk u will do great.

Her class seems more harder than it actually is. Tests are hard but, she holds study sessions a few days before the tests and reviews everything you need to study for the upcoming exam. She is very unbiased, and her lectures apply to real life.

Professor Regenold is awesome. She genuinely made me learn about Texas Government which really helps me understand and appreciate it further. She's very helpful to her students and she is very approachable. She makes her students think critically!!! Her tests, true, are hard but she always has study sessions and she makes it fun to learn!!!!

Prof. Regenold is passionate about teaching, and this is reflected in her style of instruction. She will engage you and require you to demonstrate that you've got a handle on the subject matter covered in each section. She has an "A La Carte" grading system where you can choose whichever assignments you want to do with a few exceptions. It's cool.

Class in my opinion is not hard, you just got to show up to class to get info and due dates. Due dates on HW can be found on blackboard. Powerpoints are online. You'll need a textbook with access code because HW comes with that. I got a B but only because I forgot to do some of the homework. Group activities is a big part of her class! Good luck:)

I took her for a summer semester online class GOVT2305. Super easy. I didn't even purchase the book, just used the free trial then realized I didn't need the book since I had Google. Weekly quizzes, true/false and fill in the blank. Tests were multiple choice and super easy. Minimal writing assignments. Overall would recommend. 20% effort easy A

She taught me a lot about federal government. You do have a lot of homework, but she works with you. She truly cares about her students and probably one of my all time favorite teachers. I did poorly in high school, but if i had more teachers like her i would of done better. FYI- i never really liked school, but having a good teacher helps.

I took this class online. Her assignments are laid out well very organized, responds to emails quickly, kind of a tough grader. Overall I enjoyed the class and would take it again. (The grading system is weird)

She is a very fun teacher, her tests are difficult but she gives study sessions and will give lots of extra credit. Took her for both federal and Texas government. Tests are brutal but she gives a lot of easy extra credit can bump you up 15-20 points each test. Your grade is determined by multiple assignments and they are pretty easy. Put in the work and she'll give you the grade you deserve.

Took Professor Regenold twice, because I loved her class so much. She can be difficult, but what you get out of the class makes the work worth it. Wish she taught at UTA now!

Come to class cause there are extra credit opportunities. DO THE ONLINE QUIZZES!!!!!! She will go off topic a lot but if you pay attention and study you'll be okay. Ask questions!

She is an amazing professor!!! I want to take her for TX government because she gets you excited about the material and you actually learn in her class. Gives you plenty of EC opportunities and works with you.

You need to do connect access homework because a lot of studying will be done with that. Also, her tests have a lot of critical thinking so be prepared for tough exams. However, her class is one of the best Ive been in by far; shes a fantastic professor with lots of examples to give you.

Take detailed notes and STUDY. Very fair, but hard teacher. Gives plenty of opportunity to improve or curve test grades. Go to all of her study sessions (she brings donuts) and test review sessions and you'll be fine. Funny, engaging, and really makes you care about being more involved in our government.

Prof Regenold is an amazing professor! If you can take her for government or history do it! She genuinely cares about all of her students and her lectures are awesome. Plenty of hw outside of class including papers and weekly online quizzes. Must stay on top of schedule in order to keep up with class but extra credit easily available and can be lenient at times

I have troubles with comprehension and government was really hard for me. But for others she is the easiest teacher to have!! I love her so much and will be taking her for Texas government.

Shes a very teacher she explains things and doesn't have isn't a monotone voice. You do your text book questions online but as long as you pay attention and participate you will do good. OH go to the study seminars they help and go to the test review.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! This is the most fun and interactive the class I looked forward to most this semester. She gives plenty of extra credit, some movies, and takes time in class to ask for feedback from her classes. Professor Regenold is one of those teachers that you can tell genuinely cares. Amazing lectures and really sets her students up for success. This teacher definitely makes you work for it. Lots and lots of assignments, 2 assignments a week. One due on Thursday, another due on Sunday. Tests are very difficult, I never passed a single one but I did good on the assignments and I made a B. Be ready to write some essays, she's a tough grader.

Professor Regenold was extremely helpful and had all the qualifications to be there and teach that class by far. She literally worked for the texas gov. The only thing I disliked throughout the semester was that she said she wouldn't lecture but then proceeded to lecture every day.

I liked her class, because she taught us what was required, but also we spent several days just learning things we felt we didn't understand going on in our government or just in the country. She does a lot of class participation type of things, so you'll have to be willing to speak up!! Also go to the test makeups, they're worth it!!

Honestly, she was an amazing teacher. She helped us adjust to online classes after we had to and she has always been there for us. She allows us to goof off during lectures and get off topic a bit if we are learning. She is a really good teacher who is pretty lecture heavy and you have to read the book. PS: the syllabus will be your best friend :)

She is a good professor, she is a human and she is very caring too! While transitioning to online school she was very helpful also but make sure you do your work and check blackboard! Just make sure you do your work and she will be a good friend to you!

She responds to emails quickly, and is more than willing to help if you have any questions. She is also very understanding when it comes to a missing assignment (as long as you email her ASAP). Plenty of extra credit opportunities as well.

I took this class fall semester. I would say she does give out about 2-4 assignments depending on the week. You do have to read and prepare for your quizzes or basically any assignment. It is an easy A if you're focused and have a steady schedule. You have 2 attempts every test for a better grade which is a plus. And she drops the lowest grade.

Prof Regenold was hands-down one of the best teachers Ive had at TCC! Super helpful online and cant wait to take her on campus next semester. Fun games online and good virtual study sessions with her. Answers emails right away. Dropped assignments and lots of extra credit.

Regenold makes her class fun and I don't even like politics and history. She made a scary subject easy to understand. She says the tests are hard but the study sessions and reviews are helpful. She also gives points back for corrections and has lots of extra credit.

I liked Professor Regenold.. She takes her class very seriously. Yes, there is a lot of work, but it's so easy. You get a 100 on all of the homework as long as you complete it. It's about a 1 1/2 hour long assignment each week, but you literally can't fail it. Very lecture heavy. lots of work, but overall not difficult work.

TAKE HER CLASS. she is really great, her notes are not super clear sometimes because she does go quickly through the power points, but take notes on her lectures, and do all the homework. It is not hard and she gives you so much help for exams with study sessions and gives you opportunities to bring your test grades up. She is great!

Literally my favorite professor, if I could take her for every class I would. I had her for a wintermester she brought breakfast and made an 8-12 class as enjoyable as possible. Also extremely understanding.

Professor Regenold was probably my favorite prof this semester. Her class is honestly pretty difficult. She has some over the top assignments that are mandatory at the end of the semester but she is just so passionate and funny. I really enjoyed being in her class even though the work we had to do outside of her class kinda sucked. You will learn!

i took her for both federal and tx gov and she is amazing!! her assignments are pretty easy, i learned a lot in her classes too. she is very generous about getting extra points on tests and extra credits.

Seriously, take her! She made lectures and class fun! You learn the things about government that will help you in real life. Not hard, just show up and read the book. You will make an A and with the extra credit and exam corrections that are available!

It's a government class, there will be a lot of info to read and review. Her tests are important and can be a bit challenging, but if you actually do study and attend review sessions, you will be fine. To be blunt, it takes a lot of ignorance to fail her class, she will work with you as long as you work with her. Overall, a very nice professor.

Fun storyteller and is good at keeping you engaged. Only thing I'd caution anyone about in terms of her class is the workload, which, at times, can be a bit much (between tests, chapters, and in-class assignments, I found myself mostly caught up with work from her class). If you're really interested in learning about the government, she's solid.

Assignments were pretty easy to learn from and were not too time consuming. She only assigned two essay with 3 unit test during the duration of the course. She was very clear on what she grades on. Overall, would recommend going with Professor Regenold.

Professor Regenold was a good professor overall beware you will have an online textbook and it is a long and through read, she uses the textbook information as well as in class lectures for testing found her class to be average as far as difficulty as long as you pay attention it will be fine. She does tell funny stories and has extra credit

I took Mrs.Regenold for Texas and Federal Govt words can't describe how she has changed my look on life and the way I think. I always looked forward to taking her class and while she is lecture heavy the lectures are inclusive and fun. The tests are difficult for those who don't attend study sessions/make-up sessions. Do the extra credit too! 10/10

Easy class as long as you show up. Attendance isn't 100% mandatory but there will be some in class graded assignments and you need at least 85% attendance for extra credit. There is enough extra credit to raise your grade 10-20% as well as study sessions outside of class to help prepare you for tests. Final exam optional/replaces lowest test grade.

This is an amazing teacher I took her twice now. You will have to do your work and study, but if you just read the material and look over the lecture slides you will get a good grade. She gives so much insight into politics, has no bias when talking about ideologies, and is open to normal discussion. Great Teacher must take.

shes okay but theres better. youll get a 0 if ur not in class for an assignment day (cant make it up) very lecture heavy and her tests come word for word from them. has study sessions at 6am day before the test. ur put into groups withing the first 2 weeks. its not a hard class, I wouldn't take her again by choice but if I had to I wouldn't hate it

Regenold is awesome. Really cares about her students. Has hard tests but class was chill. Gives a ton of extra credit and hold study sessions with donuts & snacks. It's cool that you can't tell her politics. She just explains the way things work. I'd take her again.

Prof. Regenold was easily one of the sweetest people I've met. You can tell how passionate she is about Gov ! I did her fully online GOVT class for dual credit. As a high school senior, she was so open to adjusting to my schedule! As long as you read the textbook, and study for the tests, you're set! I ended with a 93 and I'm not good at History!

Regenold is an awesome Texas Government teacher. The class is blended with some online work and some in person, and it's not bad if you keep up with the reading. Her lectures are clear and easy to follow, she explains things in a way that makes sense and doesn't show any political bias at all. I got an A in her class with easy extra credit.
