Easy and she is so funny that you remember everything!! Take this class

Yeah you have to write a little, but she makes the lecture sooo interesting, tests are cake if you are willing to study for 30 min (study guides and multiple choice), not to mention mass extra credit options.

interesting lectures, tests aren't hard if you pay attention to the hand outs, I would reccomend her

Take notes and do the study hints and you will do good on the tests. There is a 10 page paper but as long as you follow the format you get 100%.

crazy teacher but in a fun way. The movie essay takes a bit of time but you have three chances to hand it in for pregrading before the final due date. Very easy to score 100% as long as you are willing to put a littlr effort in. Lectures are interesting.

the word crazy dosn't really do justice to how truely weird this lady is. but really easy class, kind of fun, i got 2 d's and a c on the exams and almost got A in the class, just do good on the movie essay.really strange lady though,she scared me somtimes

A lot of work, but vry easy. Lectures r interestin & u could relate. Don't get intimidated bout the 10 pg paper, jst start on it rite away,easy. Atend as much stdy group as u can. Try not to mis lecturs, she'l give xtra crdit 4 bein there. She's fair!

I think she's a great teacher. Very fair and clear as to what is expected of you. She is willing to help if she can.

She is SO cool!! She's so helpful and interesting, and oh, she has SO much energy. I loved her class. I'm thinking of switching my major because of her. I definitely recommend her. I wish I could take more classes from her.

she's a great teacher. i highly recommend her class. just study the study hints, your notes, your quizzes and it will give you an easy A. for the 10 page paper, not bad at all. she'll give you time to resubmit your essay for a better grade.

She's one hilarious teacher! Class is always fun and exciting. She gives you study hints that really help you during the tests. Notes are very helpful and the study groups as well. Being in her class is awesome!

She's insane, and insane, but she's a really good teacher. She's very willing to help students out, and if you make a retarded comment to a question she asks the class, she'll make you seem right somehow. Fun teacher...(but don't talk when she writes)

hilarious, open-minded, supportive, insane, and memorable teacher. i actually listened to every single word she said for the entire hour and a half, and i've never done that before in my life.

Auntie Leilani is a VERY hyperactive teacher...but she is really a good teacher. Do the study guides for the tests and go to the study groups and you should get an A. There is a 10 page term paper, but its on a movie. Start on it early

wow what a class this was. If you want a teacher who is energetic this is a class to take. She gives the most funniest lectures you will hear from a teacher and she is always willing to help. 10 page paper is not bad start early and to the pre-grading

I loved her! Also, the class was easy. Get the study guide and attend class because it's as fun as a soc. class can get. She's a wonderful lecturer and I would love to take another class by her. She makes the subject very interesting as well.

Leilani is the BEST!She is freakin' hilarious and keeps the entire class laughing. All ya gotta do is study her handouts& pop-quizzes. Make sure you go to class because attendance is very important to her as well as arriving on time & you're set to go!!!

Holmes is an awesome teacher, I thought sociology was going to be boring, but she makes it a lot of fun. Assignments are easy and pop-quizzes are grouped. I took her 4 semesters ago and she was very entertaining. I enjoyed this class and I began my studies at Grossmont with her. She was my first tteacher out of highschool and she made life a lot easier for me.

She is one of the best proffessor in Grosmont. Tests are so easy, and have only one paper which is easy too. She is also ver sweet and funny.

Holmes is such a great teacher! If you study the handouts you'll pass the test cause she basically copy and pastes the material. Only one paper which isn't that hard. Plenty of EC too. This was an easy A, just study and read text book. You'll enjoy this class and she is entertaining!

if anything she keeps you awake and interested in what your'e learning. good sence of humor and a good teacher. a very rare personality, but overall is always willing to help students pass the class.

She was pretty nuce and easy to boot. The only problem was the 10 page paper, but she gives you forever to do it. Tests were some of the easiest that i have ever taken.

Great teacher! Cares about her students and wants them to succeed. There is a fairly large amount of reading if you wait too long to do it but her lectures are always entertaining. She is very energetic but it's what kept me interested. The tests were pretty basic so they weren't hard. So...Good class, good teacher, easy A if you do the work.

I actually took the time to write a comment about this teacher... that should say something. She is fabulous and extremely energetic... I found myself actually not dozing off in class... it was weird... but so cool! I look forward to another one of her classes!

Awesome Teacher

Lelani is a fabulous professor. I've taken her Soc. 120 and 125 class and enjoyed them both. She is enthusiastic, loves to share her knowledge, and enjoys her students. Lelani encourages student participation and thrives from heated discusion. Her tests and asignements are mildly challenging but you shouldn't have a problem if you show interest

I was always looking forward to going to this class. Dr. Holmes tells jokes about the topics discussed while making sure to cover everything that will be on the test. She also hands out worksheets which help for tests. There are a few papers and an essay, but they are easy. She will let you re-write them and turn them back in for a better grade.

Dr. Holmes is a great teacher! Very funny and a little kooky, but thats whats so great! A few EASY papers, five pg paper assigned at the beg of the semester, not due till almost the end! Make sure you know the terms on the study topics, Dont be a lazy !@!#$ and complain about having to read! All u gotta do is know the terms! Cool teacher, easy clas

Holmes was great. She was quirkey and interseting and the class was really fascinating. She made the class fun, and although there were some minor papers and the movie essay it was well worth it. The tests were really easy. I highly recommend this class.

She's very nice and always smiling. She's sarcastic and has a dark sense of humor. We only had 4 assignments and 4 test all semester and she helps a lot with them. The only thing I didn't like is that she rambles and babbles for a lot of the class period

The work load is practically nothing. The exams are easy, just study about 1-2hrs. She makes it really interesting. You will actually leave this class understanding and remembering the material. I would make this class a requirement, SHE"S THAT GOOD!

Professor Holmes is a great professor. She is passionate about her subject and is engaging while in class. She is very clear about what will be on exams. Showing up for class is a must as lectures cover everything on tests. She also gives you a number of ways to earn extra credit. I wish I could take her other courses!
