VERY interesting! Makes his class fun, doesn't care about you cell phone ringing (just don't answer it in class). It's a joke how many times my phone will ring in class! LEITH ROCKS!!

The guy is different. The dreads are neat. The lab is easy but can get boring. But anyway, he is a good teacher.

Not only is he hot, but he's just freakin great! Brings a sense of humor and a neat aspect of culture to the class. He explains things on a level that makes it incredibly easy to understand and grades easily also.

I had an A on every test;most of the class did not.If you want to pass this class you have to learn and listen actively.READ the book BEFORE class,and utilize the web-site noted on the syllabus and in the book!Trust me.I used it,and when I suggested the site to others,they improved by 30pts or more.

I am not good in biology and i made a B. he is concerned about how well the students do and he does curve grades and give extra points on tests. good teacher. i don't see how you can really make cells more interesting

HE WAS ROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF THE SEMISTER, I HAD A 63%. AFTER THE FIRST TWO TEST, HE THEN CHANGED HIS FORMAT AND I ENDED UP WITH AN 86% FOR THE SEMISTER. SO IF HE KEEPS IT LIKE LAST SEMISTER YOU SHOULD DO WELL, IF NOT YOU BETTER LIKE STUDYING REAL HARD.

i think that he does need to explain a little more, but over all, if you study the slides, read the chapters,and take notes like you should you should do okay.....and he is HOTTTTT!!!!!!

He is an awesome teacher! He may become a bit monotonous at times, but the class is easy enough to get through. You do need to study, but that goes for most classes, and basically pay attention to the slides. The class in general is excellently set up. The tests are a little hard, but they are good to go if you studied.

I like that he use the power point slides in his lectures. By using them there is no question what will be on the test. I hope he keeps using them.

Man, he's a good teacher but don't think you can just show up and pass. Study for the quizzes and the tests. Pay attention because sometimes he'll TELL you that something is on the test. I enojy his class. =)

Ok. I think he is a good teacher. He is congenial and helpful. He does the best that he can. Biology is a lot of material to cover, really. YOU HAVE TO STUDY. This is not high school, I swear... Today I had a question for him after class about viruses and he was glad to answer. Really friendly. Oh, and you know what? He is SO hot. I can't help it.

He is a great professor. I just wish he would teach the 106 class as well. I just wanted to tell all of those who complained to stop saying your studying, when obviously your not. I think that Leith is a great teacher. Biology is a lot of material, and you have to study if you want to do well in the class. He is fair and covers what is on the test. If you need help, just ask. He will be more than happy to explain something to you. and FYI: He is also an awesome drummer!

laith is a good guy. just do the quizzes, listen to the lectures, and read the book, and you'll get an A. Don't beat the guy up because he doesn't have 50 years teaching experience like some others.

The class is given a bad representation by people taking ONLY the first 2 tests, which are before the drop date, typically. The 3 and final which much easier and I study the same amount as the others. Buy the text book or print the slides and you will be fine. No fears.

the coolest teacher ever! lab was awesome my first semester.

It is intimidating at first but if you get through the fist two test and stick it out till the third test you will see that the test get easier after the midterm. Also if you look at the chapter and print the slides before each class you will do well on the quizes which eventually replace your lowest test grade. you will hear lots of bad but I say

real cool guy if u take the time to meet him. says a lot of "ums" and "uhs". GREATLY helps your grade with extra points and quizzes. kinda boring. but he really cant do too much with such LARGE classes. so not really his fault. not an easy "A". u will have to study a little for an "A".

Do good on the quizes, they help at the end of the semester.Not an easy "A", but not impossible to pass.

I really enjoy the class. Just make sure to read the chap and you'll do well on the quizzes...I mean come on, you can use your notes and the book...that's what they're there for. Yes he does read from the slides, but give the guy a break...the classes are so large...and at least you're not sitting there trying to take your own notes, you have them

His tests are very easy. All questions on the test come from the quizzes before and after the chapter or from the review at the end of the chapter. Everyone told me he was hard, but I think he is an easy A class.

This class was great. everyone on here says that he reads off of the slides but he doesnt. he gives a great explanation of whats on the slides as he reads them, which is what a good presentation is supposed to be like. tests were easy and material was well explained in notes well. most tests were all the quiz questions. easy to get along with also.

OK, if you fail this class, your are a Dumbass!! he is by far, the easiest teacher! study every quiz question for the test and your guarenteed at least a B. He is very boring, but everything is straight forward and cut and paste!!!!!!!!

Very easy class. I never once paid attention, but made an A. Tests come mainly from quiz questions (and he posts the quizzes on blackboard--w/o answers)! Very boring class and its all powerpoint (no extra note-taking necessary) but he does throw in a couple of funny jokes here and there

Easier than my high school biology class. He gives you all the answers to the test two days before. Look over it and you'll get a B. Study and you'll get an A. He also gives daily quizzes, but lets you discuss the answers with the people sitting next to you. One of the easiest classes I ever took. I barely ever went to class and I still got a B.

It's almost impossible to fail the class, and even hard to get a C. He replaces your lowest test grade with daily quizzes (an easy 100% if you go to class) and if your grades are to your satisfaction, you don't have to take the final. Very easy.

I think Leith Adams is a wonderful professor. I appreciate his enthusiasm for the subject of Biology, and I think he is really funny! I love his personality, I think he's awesome, and because of him, I have really gained my confidence back. I had Biology 156 and failed miserably. I felt defeated and lost, but I have my confidence back now.

wow, i made an A in Biology, I NEVER make a's in biology. This guy is great, he is really nice and i loved his class discussion on Evolution! Read the chapters, his quizes are challenging, but if you do well on them they really help you in the end. Take him, you will not regret it!

I don't know why he didn't get higher ratings, because he's a good teacher and a very nice guy. He enjoys his subject and knows what he's talking about. Sometimes I think tries a little too hard to be funny, but at least he's easy on the eyes.

He is a great teacher, I agree he knows his stuff. Definately study the quiz questions and the powerpoints, and you do not have to teach YOURSELF, that is crazy, if you had to teach yourself you probably didnt SHOW UP FOR CLASS!

This class is about as boring as it gets, but if you go to class, you'll be satisfied with your grade. Easy A.

extremely easy. just take the quizzes at the beginning and end of each chapter...he will put all of the questions on blackboard two days before the test, and the test is basically all of those questions plus like...10 or so others. i sleep every single day, yet i made a 96 on the last test. very, very easy...definitely take him if you can.

Great teacher!! Definately cool, funny, and easy on the eyes. Leith is very interesting and knowledgeable. You do have to study a little, but the tests are pretty easy.

He doesn't take roll, but there are two daily quizzes that you dont want to miss if you think you will do poorly on the tests. He explains things well, and he puts the exact questions from the quizzes on the test! Just write down the questions and study them. If you get those right you will get at least a C on the test. :)

This is my second class taking Leith. Yes, he is strange, but that's what makes him a great teacher, he isn't boring or your typical professor. He's funny, is really into the material he teaches and if you have a question he'll help you out. HIGHLY recommended for Bio 105 and 106.

After having 105 with a very challenging teacher, Adams was a breath of fresh air! He makes the class interesting with funny side comments and stories. Read the chapters, MAKE NOTE OF ALL QUIZ ANSWERS and you'll pass the test!

Adams is a great teacher. His test are really easy. You mainly have to just study the quiz answers and the power points. He will bring snakes and other animals to class. He makes it fun and intersting.

SO easy! Only thing is you do have to attend class for quiz answers unless you have a friend to give them to you. All you need to study is powerpoint. AND he drops the lowest grade so if your first 3 tests and quiz grade is good for you all you have to do for final is put your name. thats what im doing. Highly recommend this if you want an easy A.

Sooo Easy! Suggestion: Attend class and take all of the quizzes. It can really make a difference in your grade. Also, make sure you write down the quiz questions and answers and study those for the test. Half of the questions on each test come from the quizzes.

He is so easy. All you have to do is memorize the quiz questions you get everyday answers. That will be your exact test. He also rounds up your grade on attendance, but you must ask. But you also have to at least have a 65 or something to get a 70 and so forth.

TAKE HIM!!! He is really cool & is willing to adjust how he teaches & how he makes his tests based on the students' feedback/needs. Need an iclicker for quizzes that he gives before & after each chapter. May want to read the chapter before he teaches it & his tests are structured in the order of the chapters and the quiz questions are on it too.

Adam's is super cool and laid back. This class is more visual, learning the bones, muscle, tissue. It involves a lot of memorization of body parts. Adam's gives study guides, the lecture Power Point so you can read ahead or go back and look, recommended videos, and there is open lab. GO TO OPEN LAB!!! The tests are easy as well as the quizzes.

Adam's is super cool. He does speak fast but he gives you access to all lecture PowerPoint's ahead of time and after so you can go back and look. You will use the lab manual. Don't forget to use open lab. This is not a class where you cram the night before the test. If you show up and study, you will pass.

He really enjoys when people ask questions. He is a great professor and would 10/10 take him again. Clicker quizzes are super important.

He lectures very fast and heavy, so get ready to listen. A major plus is that he posts all powerpoints online before class, so you can follow along to lectures. ALTHOUGH, do not underestimate the tests, as they do need to be carefully read. These are not 'copy and paste' tests.

Go to class and take the quizzes, once you get the full amount of possible quiz points, you can honestly stop going to class and be fine. He gives you the questions that will be on the test and the powerpoints through Moodle. The final is THE EASIEST of his test. MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE QUIZ POINTS. The quiz grade replaces the lowest test grade.

Taking his Bio1010 course at Fletcher. If you're a self-disciplined student you'll do well, but otherwise this isn't the professor for you. It's completely online and exams are mc, however they are set up where you need to thoroughly understand the material. You get back exactly what you put in.
