He is young, so he's easy. You have 3 major speeches and extemporaneous 2-3 min speeches from time to time. He's easy, extremely easy exams, non of that 50 question exams. Basically, take him if you want an A. I guarantee you will get it =]

NO ONE GETS less than B+ - his policy. Lots of presentations to make but it helps u to socialize w ur classmates better. For midterm, he practically gave us 20 questions and told us he will pick 10 from the list. Learned a lot from him and he is great guy

I love Prof. Brewster! He got rid of my fear of public speech by the first class. This is the only class I look forward to going to. He's a really nice person who rewards you not only for your work but also notices the efforts made - which is very rare :)

His class is very easy!! A must take prof. Don't even need to read textbook, just read the outlines. Assigns 5-6 easy speeches. Has no limit to what you can talk about. If you want an easy A, take him. The worst speech giver in class got a B+. He's also very easy-going. TAKE HIM!!!

The Best! I was saving this class until the last semester like the majority who dislike public speaking, but took it with him and I tell you this. By the time the class is over, you may actually enjoy giving speeches. Starts you in small steps and progresses to longer speeches. Grade is not just based on speech but your overall effort and progress.

This class was very easy b/c of him. He grades very fairly and it's impoosible to get lower than a B in his class but if you do the work and show inprovement than an A is what you'll get!

What the 6/24/06 person said is 100% true. This class is an guaranteed A! No need to read book, but u will need it as 1 part of the final comes straight out of it. The class is a lil useful as you have to give abt 2 speeches so its good for practice, plus its a great gpa booster. Would not recommend more than 1 class with him tho (too boring!)

He teaches very well. Excellent at motivating you to do well in your speeches. The course is very VERYYYY organized. Fair and generous grader in the speeches. Just don't pass the time limit. I would definitely take him again

He's GREAT. We had two quizzes, one midterm, and no final. we also had one individual presentation and one group presentation. Even though this class seemed like it had alot of work. it was GREAT and EASY. I reccomend.

2 small quizes, midterm, 2 presentations and The Final is a team presentation. Does take attendance, but understanding when you need to be out unlike some professors in Baruch who penalize you. Sharp dresser and brings real work environment into class room. Great guys and def. worth taking!!!

I just took him this past summer session. He was awesome the class flowed by very quickly and you took a lot of confidence away from the course. He's very understanding and although he doesn't give direct feedback, he'll let you know if there is something you've done really good/bad. My only regret is buying the tkbk bc I didn't use it and got an A

I enjoyed the class! The grading system and assignments were clear. Tests were not difficult at all as long as you study. I wish I could get more feedback on my paper, so I can learn more. Other than that, everything was great.

Professor Brewster Allows you to prove yourself. Take thorough notes and study them before quizzes and test and you'll be fine. Remember your notes will be most helpful. The environment for learning in this class was great. He made us laugh and he is nice to look at!!! Took the summer course 3 days a week 5 weeks. Two formal speeches and one quick one after midterm. Easy class if you do your work. Prepare for speeches and you'll do great. Midterm was tough but he curved at the end of the class. We always got out at least a good 45 mins early which is nice when it's a night class.

Clear lectures, interesting conversations, easy obtainable book, very clear that you should read chapters. You will learn but in an exciting environment. Would and will take this professor again.
