Pretty easy class. Professor is a bit scatterbrained and has an inefficient use of class time. Not that great.
Nice GUY.. I'm not sure about PROFESSOR. Definitely wasn't with the program -- 25 minutes late once and we got in trouble for leaving! Assigned homework after half the class had left; not consistent with grades.
Dr. Clark will help you if you ask him. You cannot expect to learn in his class just by sitting there. His tests are easy as long as you study.
TERRIBLE!
Mr. Clark is a very caring teacher. His class is not easy but if you pay attention you will understand. If you have a problem he is willing to help, but just like any teacher they cant help unless they are aware that there is a problem.
Well.....this man just doesn't teach.
very VERY unorganized...has class teach the class on info he doesn't lecture on; very unsufficient use of class time
What a joke
should retire
Should retire! Wanted to teach the class how to navigate through the internet for 30min. Try to stick to human bio, the internet is something I've been familair with for years. Our time is valuable teach us what we need and want to know or don't teach at all.
He arrived late and dismissed class early routinely! Did not lecture, instead read directly from CD notes on the Smart Board. We had one lab all semester. He never returned our tests and promised to have them marked within a few days, but had us mark them much later! Very poor teacher.
very boring teacher. He will test you on material not even in the book or notes so BEWARE!!!!
He's a caring teacher. He get's lost in his own rambling during lecture and doesn't make a lot of the connections clear. Has good interest for the class, and it's easy if you pay attention and participate in class discussions and lab.
I'm not sure if he's still at GCC, but if he is STAY CLEAR AWAY. DO NO, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE HIM IF YOU WANT TO EXCEL IN THE NURSING FIELD. HE DOES NOT TEACH-HE MAKES THE CLASS TEACH PRACTICALLY OUT OF THE BOOK. HE WINDS UP CANCELLING A BUNCH OF CLASSES. YOU WILL END UP RETAKING THE CLASS DUE TO NOT KNOWING THE MATERIAL THE WAY YOU SHOULD.
Dr. Clark was fair and very helpful to those with a desire to learn.
So I showed up to my human bio class maybe 35% of the time - missed 2 tests, 3 labs and a group project - my final grade? a C+. If you take him don't buy the book (he doesn't teach out of it). Not a bad guy (he's funny) but he shouldn't be teaching.
Instructor gave you study guides and they were helpful for the test. He had a sense of humor. Most students had to do one presentation. He went through the chapters too slow and had to catch up in the end. Overall, I liked him. Easy A, if you do the work.
This class is dreadfully boring, he reads off a powerpoint for 2.5 hours and that's about all he ever does. He's often late for class. Randomly asks you questions and treats you like a moron if you dont know the answer.
Probably the easiest bio class ever. If you want a GPA boost, this is the class for you as long as you don't mind being bored to tears every day. Late every single day and just reads off of power point for the entire class. Tests are extremely easy though and EXACTLY the same as the study guides he gives you. You prob wont learn anything though.
very nervous in beginning because he lectures and I didnt follow. True the class is boring however if you study the study guides he gives..your good. His tests ARE the study guides. word for word.
Very nice and smart man. Prepares you for test with helpful study guides that are easy to do. I would recommend him.
Dr. Clark is an enthusiastic teacher with a great sense of humor, and he wants his students to succeed. He is able to teach the material in such a way that it seems so logical and easy to follow. His study guides prepare you for the test, so you don't get any test "surprises". He's always willing to stay after class and talk and answer questions.
If you can learn by teaching yourself after listening to him read off of power points, then this is the teacher for you. We did labs that did not count for grades which were a complete waste of time. Memorize the study guides and teach yourself the chapter.
lectures with dr clark last all 2 1/2 hours, lab days are boring and do not get checked. His tests are very long and are exactly from the study guides!!! study your study guide and you'll do fine!very nice man!
I would never recommend this class to anyoneee! First off he teaches out of an a&p book and barely even uses the human bio book. When we do labs he doesnt check or grade our lab book. Tests are taken exactly from the study guides. Very very boring teacher who teaches mostly off powerpoint.
Very good prof. Showed you exactly what you need to study prior to the exams, no surprises. I would recommend him to everyone.
He is great. You will learn a lot if you study everything he tells you to. Great teacher!!!
Great teacher! You really learn alot and he tells you exactly what you need to study. I would highly recommend him!
probably one of the worse teachers at GCC, wouldn't recommend him if you want a teacher that acutally teaches. he lecutures consist of reading a powerpoint and he give study guides that are the test. he doesn't answer the questions you have and yells at you if you ask.
If you want an A in A&P take Dr. Clark. He gives you study guide packets that are the tests exactly and makes sure you're well prepared. He'll call on you in class if he thinks your not paying attention. He's a very funny guy and makes his normally boring lectures enjoyable. Brings the A&P language down to a normal level so you understand and learn
Great teacher, if you pay attention and study you can get an A. I dont think his students give him enough credit. I would recommend him to everyone!!
If you want an easy A, take him. However, if you actually need to learn the material, DO NOT take him. He is always late for class. He is extremely unorganized. He can be very nice but can get a nasty attitude quick. Do not take him!
He disappears for 40 mins of the class...but "no 15 min rule". His tests are just the study guides but he isn't good at actually teaching the information and neverreally answers questions! I would NOT recommend him.
This was the worst professor I had ever had. He rarely teaches, labs he rarely does, waste of money.Always at least a 1/2hr late for class, when you ask a question he never gives a straight answer, talks to u like ur stupid. One of the worst people I have ever met in my life. Just a HORRIBLE experience, not even worth takin Biology if ur stuck w/ him
not worth attending class. disorganized, belittles people, no concept of respecting others, doesn't follow schedule, unable to get a full though out. Gets offended if you ask questions. If you need to learn, don't take his class. Never around to help in labs.
Every dime I spent on this class was a waste. This guy should not teach pre-school. He leaves class without any explanation for 40 minutes at a time. Does not conduct labs just tells you to read instructions and walks out.HEY GCC, I want my money back
Nice Guy. He is late for class and leaves class alot. He give you the study guides which are the test. If you study the guides you will get an A in his class. Labs in his class arn't good. He does have a fair lecture. He is an ok teacher, but if you need an A take the class.
WORST TEACHER EVER! If you want an easy A with out learning anything take him. He doesn't care at all and literally just gives you everything to pass the test. I don't know how he is getting paid when he is definitely not teaching squat. Don't waste your money by taking his class, you learn NOTHING. You will also be bored out of your mind.Zzzzzzzz
Easy A gives all answers to tests on study guides, no presentations required, lots of lecture (boring) easy labs, Very helpful knows what he is talking about if you have questions.
Best teacher out there!!! His class is easy so obtaining an A is easily achieved. But the way he teaches it, you are learning alot. He makes it fun. But talk alot in his class and he will make you his personal assistant with many questions and you will be put on the spot!
EASY A! He is about 30 min late to class every morning--so if u wanna sleep in a bit, u will still be early to class. He gives you studyguides to fill out and complete...and u memorize them--and thats the test...sometimes he even leaves them in order so u just have to memorize the letters. His lectures are boring...and he is old school so dont talk
He is a very good professor. His class is only hard if you don't pay attention and don't do the study guides. When he lectures, yes it may be boring, but if you pay attention, he explains everything so you can understand it. I plan on taking him again for A&P II. =)
Excellent teacher, one of the best I've had so far at GCC. Presents the material in a clear and effective manner. Strict and definitely old school which I believe contributes to many students not giving him the credit he deserves. I highly recommend him.
Excellent teacher, one of the best I've had so far at GCC. Presents the material in a clear and effective manner. Strict and definitely old school which I believe contributes to many students not giving him the credit he deserves. I highly recommend him.
Dr Clark is an excellent teacher. He relates very complex information into easy to understand terms. He uses study guilds that many think are easy, but at the same time you know the information if you know the study guilds. And that is the name of the game.I had him for 3 semesters and I would take him again if I could.
Dr.Clark is strict, good, & caring professor! The text book is a must have & read. He provide study guides. He is knowledgeable, clear, precise & repetitous with the material. Attendance is important. He is a very good professor but Old school. He expects you to speak using proper Anatomy & Physiology terms.
good teacher. wants you to understand material fully. but study guides are exact same as tests. easy to pass
Worst professor I've had at GCC. If you want an easy A and nothing more, take the class. It's boring and he reads straight from the text book and powerpoint; you're really just paying for him to read to you. No help during labs or when you have any questions about material. If you need to know this material for your career take someone else.
Dr. Clark is fair, he gives you his expectations from the beginning. He is good at explaining the material, but not always helpful when asking questions. Use the Study Guides and show up to class and you can pass with an A.
Easy A! but horrible at teaching. He is very rude to stuents and gives no clear answer to questions. He will just read from the text or power point and go on and on about the same thing for days.
clark has a VERY good vocabulary but that won't help you learn the class material. The tests are the EXACT same as the study guides he provides, but you will find yourself memorizing the study guides rather than LEARNING. if you want to learn the material, DONT TAKE HIM. if you want an easy A & the class isn't necessary for your major take him.
If you can sit through a class that floods from the proffers sweat this is a class for you. He is illiterate and extremely rude. Worst teacher I have ever taken. If you question him or say that he is wrong he will tell you that if you speak out of line again he will call security and have you removed from the class, but exams are a joke, easy A
Worst teacher I have ever had. He is very rude and gets angry when students ask questions. He makes students grade their own exams, so he gets paid literally for doing nothing. He also expects students to stay after class has ended, so if you have a job immediately after class (like me) do not take him!!
He is very hard to understand and class is very boring. I found myself playing games instead of paying attention. The study guides are the EXACT test so if you want an easy A then he is your guy. He will talk until the end of class and don't even bother asking him questions because he'll talk in a huge circle and will never directly answer it.
This class almost made me drop out. He is the worst instructor for any course that I have ever had. He constantly rambles and you will never learn anything; which doesn't matter, because you get a study guide for your 700-800 question tests. If you are patient enough for a late professor and sitting for 2.5 hours listening, take him. If not, don't.
class was awesome. He gives study guides which are almost the exact same on the test. He is helpful and anatomy 2 he does really cool dissections.
Dr. Clark is very smart and shares a lot of knowledge although not in an entertaining way. He does mainly PowerPoint lectures. For every test you receive an identical study guide. Study that and you will get a 100 on the test. All around nice guy, will write you a recommendation letter. Shows up late a lot, if its snowing, he WILL NOT be there.
This class is a joke. I regret taking it. I took honors anatomy in high school and absolutory loved it. His class is less than high school level and hard to sit there. The lab and lectures are 2 and a 12 hours long and you will sit there the whole time even if your lab is complete (like in high school waiting for a bell to ring).
Honestly, he is the WORST professor I have ever had. Yes, his class is very easy, but I wouldn't recommend him. He legitimately takes 2 hours just to go over one PowerPoint slide. I honestly regret taking his Anatomy course. I was in AP Anatomy & Physiology in high school and I loved it. His exams are the EXACT same as the Study Guides he sends you
Don't take this professor. We are in week 10 of a 15 week course and have only gone over 4 chapters so far and now have 9 chapters to go over in the next 5 weeks. We need to still learn bones, joints and the skeletal system, muscles, and the nervous system. There is no way we can learn all that in 5 weeks.
Worst professor i've ever taken. Rambles for 3 hours with no clear explanation of what he's talking about or what he will be talking about. I took nothing from this class, please do not make the mistake of registering too late.
Dr. Clark's class is ridiculously easy. He makes you print out massive study guides to prepare for the handful of exams he gives the class. The study guides are the same thing as the exams. If you want to actually learn material for Anatomy and Physiology, do not take him. You will catch yourself skipping lectures and teaching yourself the material
Dr. Clark's class was very enjoyable for me. His lectures are very long and sometimes feel unnecessary but if you were to ask him for help he wont shoot you down. His tests are very easy IF you study and they're also very long but they're the same as the study guide. I passed his class with an A and I look forward to taking him again in the Spring.
If you can tolerate hearing someone ramble on about unnecessary material for 3 hours then take Dr. Clark. This class drags and you teach yourself most of the materials. I dreaded going to class.
Professor Clark loves what he does and it shows. I took his A&P 1 and 2 classes over the summer and couldn't have hoped for a better professor. It is obvious that he cares about his students and wants them to succeed both in his classroom and beyond.
Disrespectful, lazy,Gives packet after packet to complete in place of actual teaching,Lectures are horribly boring,Rarely moves from behind his desk, heavily relies on reading from the textbook and power point slides,Will call on you if you're not paying attention to his babbling,If you don't know the answer you're an idiot,No Direction for labs.
He uses almost the exact study guides for the exams. He relies heavily on the textbook, even quoting the author like they're old friends. The lectures are long and filled with his monotone voice the entire time. I would love to have a different professor next semester, but the college only offers his class to fit into my schedule. Leave now.
Professor Clark is very lecture heavy and he spends a lot of time repeating and going over every slide he presents. Lab days mostly include you and your group going through the lab book and following directions while he sort of just monitors from up front. HOWEVER, the tests are JUST LIKE the study guides and he is genuinely a nice guy! Easy A!!!
Awful. Babbles about nothing for 2 and a half hours. If you need an A and you have a lot of patience, take Dr. Clark. Study guides are almost exactly the same as the tests. Says he grades attendance but doesn't. Says that attendance will reflect final grade anyway. Easy A, but very boring.
His tests are easy if you memorize the study guides, but he is the most boring professor. Take him to pass, not to gain information
Easy Tests, they are the study guides he gives you. Lectures are very boring, bring a book or your laptop, something. he loves calling on people for answers then being rude and making you feel stupid when you get it wrong. Easy A, taking again in the spring for A&PII
Dr. Clark is a kind, patient and genuine soul. He is very approachable and cares about his students. He is better than many AP instructors at CCC. You know what to study and what will be on the exam, and the is GREAT! He does have lengthy lectures, but he expects you to do your packets and learn at the same time. And we should, we are adults.
Honestly, if you fail his class, it's your own fault! He is funny, kind, and caring. People saying he's rude must be the disrespectful jerks of the class. He doesnt tolerate disrespect and WILL call you out if you're talking while he is or if you're rude. AS HE SHOULD! YOU'RE IN COLLEGE NOT HS!! smh. Anyway, do the study guides then STUDY! easy
He is old school. Arrive late, interrupt his lectures and you will be chastised. His study guides are nearly identical to the test, No reason you should get a bad grade. He is older so has trouble helping with Laboratories that use the computer, at least attempt them to and get credit, lab manuals will be collected at end of term so fill them out
He's an okay dude. I'm still currently in the class. He prints out the powerpoints and notes he reads off of in lectures and gives them to you forcing you to show up on lecture day just to listen to him talk, I found myself skipping almost every lecture and just studying on my own. There is no difference between study guides and tests. Easy A.
He is alright at best. Even though the class is super easy itself, class begins to feel like a weekly chore after a bit. The only thing I am really concerned about with this class is if I actully really learned anything I couldn't have taught myself. Especially, since my major requires this sort of stuff (nursing). Just be cautious going in I guess
He's funny but can be too sassy at times, you just have to let him know he can't walk all over you. His class is super easy, the tests are exactly like the study guides, and your only other grade is your lab book so make sure you have that completed. I never showed up to lectures but always lab day.
This class was so painfully boring but painful easy. Study guides and tests are exactly alike. He loves lecturing the entire time about nothing. Literally 4 slides takes 2 hours. Dont take him if you need to actually learn the material. Makes you stay in lab until he says to leave like youre in high school. Wastes your time as much as he can.
Terrible professor he lectures on the same slide for an hour. If you need to learn the material for nursing dont take him! And if you have a question he will just laugh at you and give you a hard time. Easy A since the study guides are the test however, if you need to know the material dont do it.
This professor warms my heart. EASY A. He does not overwhelm students, giving you a chance study and actually learn something! I spent a lot of time reading and learning for myself without stress. I teach myself in every class with other professors anyway... who overwhelm you and stress you out unnecessarily. Thank you Dr. Clark for your kindness!
Very boring class, I haven't learned a single thing. So if you need anatomy take him because it's an easy A. If you actually need to learn material don't take him. He rants for hours about the same thing. I bought a 300 dollar lab kit that wasn't even used and purchased an expensive text book that also not once was used.
I absolutely loved Prof Clark, he was the cutest human I swear. He expects good things from his students and will try to help. He's funny to listen to but is all lectures. Labs are more expected to be done on your own you don't have class time to do it. Tests are extremely long but easy we were allowed to use a study guide, and then self grade!
Dr Clark was truly one of the best professors I've ever had. He is such a kind soul. Most of the work is completing the study guides he hands out. They are extremely easy and the exams are exact copies of the study guides. One class this past summer he brought in Starbucks gift cards for the whole class the day before an exam. Truly an awesome guy
I'm not really even sure where to being with this professor. He's hilarious as a person but he is painfully boring as a professor. He tends to lecture for hours on basically nothing. He will not let you leave class when labs are done, you will have to wait to be dismissed. Tests are exactly the same as the study guides and he lets you self-grade.
Better off teaching yourself. He is unorganized and late to every class. His lectures are boring, and you have no clue what he is talking about. He is very repetitive. Labs are fairly easy, and he collects lab book at end of semester. Study guides are same as test, make sure to complete them bc he will let you use one during test.
Worst professor ive ever had, doesn't understand whats going on half the time, shows up late almost everyday. doesn't make any sense during lectures or lab day. extremely unorganized and unprepared. a waste of my money, time and patience. needs to retire.
Never seen someone so capable of talking about everything and nothing at the same time in a lecture. He's nice. I highly recommend him if you have good study methods already, but I don't recommend if you are not sure where to start with that. He does not go over the content intensely so do not take this dude if you're gonna be a surgeon. Easy A.
very sweet professor! If you want an easy A take this class. He does talk a lot and his lectures are boring but he means well ! If you're looking to actually learn take another class because he goes over everything minimally !
This Professor is absolutely horrible. You can always expect that he will be late from 10-30 minutes. You can also expect to miss many labs because he would rather do the same lecture for the 15th time, instead of doing Labs on Lab days. Get ready to do a ton of learning by yourself or you will be set for failure.
be prepared for him to be late every class, lectures about the same topic consistently, teach everything to yourself if you want to get a good grade/learn the topic. make sure to finish all study guide he lets you use one during test. tests are very lengthy and strenuous
Late to class by 10-30 minutes most days, rambles about absolutely nothing for 2 hours. Lecture days are useless, but he gives out study guides and you can usually use at least one of them on the test, which is just the exact same packets. Labs are aimless but sometimes entertaining. Easy A but take someone else if you actually need to learn A+P.
Great professor !
great professor he is very caring and wants all his students to succeed!
Take Professor Clark! highly recommended! :)
Very sweet professor!
100 page packet felt like I learned nothing from him directly
Professor Clark's class is not a hard class AT ALL, however, there were a few of his methods that didn't sit well with me. Professor Clark is not a tech savvy person so everything is done on paper. I personally feel like he doesn't really teach the material, nor does he go over the power point. I do not recommend this professor.
Easy A class. He doesn't teach at all, just goes over PowerPoint slides every class. Labs do not make sense and don't align with what you are learning. Supposed to be on or around Chapter 20 by the end of the semester, only got to Chapter 6. If you really need Anatomy and Physiology, take someone else he is not worth it.
I started on September 6th; I have been waiting for the syllabus since September, and now it is December. The professor never stays too long; he says he will print or get coffee. He NEVER posts anything on a backboard and NEVER RESPOND ANY EMAIL. On Lab days he doesn't teach anything at all. Never THIS CLASS IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY and peace
I had him monday Wednesday 8am he was always late he gave a test that was 4 packets long and we didn't learn anything that was on half of them he has horrible time management and just rambles on, his labs don't make sense or we don't have enough time. He forgets a lot of things that we are doing.
Anatomy was the one class I actually needed to learn from and learned absolutely nothing. He didn't even know what year it was. He will loose your papers and or not make enough copies. I haven't heard a single anatomy term come out of his mouth, and he just repeats the same random words.
The best teacher I have EVER had
horrible, learn absolutely nothing, waste of money and time
Professor Clark's class was an experience... He was constantly late and lectures were lackluster and not related to the course at all. He would forget what was already covered and would fail to provide resources he says we need. If you value you time, sanity, and money DO NOT TAKE HIM
please save yourself and do not take him. if u need to take A&P take pandolfo. I withdrew a week in. that's all. do. not. take. him. He means well I guess but just save urself the time and money and take a different teacher who you will actually learn from.
We retook the same 4 part exam about 5 times throughout the semester. We never learned anything new and were never taught anything. You never will receive any grades. He has you sign in for attendance daily although will misplace or never learn your name. Do not take this class if you truly need to know anatomy.
