He is the best teacher I have had in the 3 yrs I've been at UNCW. He makes class interesting as well as educational. I learned alot and it always helps that he's a cutie pie!

He's so nice! Very cheesy jokes, had an 8 am class with him, but he was pretty interesting. Puts powerpoint notes online quickly, easy to review, tests not too difficult. :)

The class content was about as boring as it gets, but he made it okay cause he's such a nice teacher! Definitely recommend him for anything, but don't take tests and measurements, it's sooooo boring!!!!!!

Class was boring. I took Psy of Personality. But he was very cute, not married at the time, and so my friends and I enjoyed staring at him for 50 minutes three days a week.

Corny but hot. He is a good teacher and makes sure that you understand the material.

His lectures are fun and entertaining to sit through. At times he will bring up corny stories but that makes the class more laid back and interesting to sit through. I definately recommend him as a teacher and you'll be surprised at how much you learn

Best professor at UNCW!!! Very intelligent, helpful, funny, and makes class an enjoyable experience. I breezed through the test and made a 98 in the class... and yeah, he's pretty easy on the eyes ;)

He was so entertaining and not to mention that he's just really hot!! His tests are kind of hard, but he'll help you if you need him to. He's probably the best psychology professor I've ever had.

This man is gorgeous. I dreaded taking this basic studies class in a giant auditorium... but when I got there I actually wanted to sit up front and pay attention if only because this man is HOT HOT HOT!!! Plus he makes class at least somewhat interesting, what with the subject matter and all.

He made himself available for students needing help and was understanding about situations that could have otherwise hurt your grade. he made the subject matter interesting with his little jokes and kept us awake through the 3 hr classes with ease. great prof.

Dr. Lecci is a cool teacher, he knows his stuff and manages to make a 3 hour long class interesting. he's nice and the tests arent bad if you study and attend class. i would recommend this class

He is very funny keeps even a huge class in an auditorium interested. (just make sure your cell phone is off or he makes it a pretty embarrassing event) Oh, and hes HOT!

I'm sure anything negative I had to say about Lecci would be negated by the large sum of "hot" declarations he has received prior to my review so I'll just save it. I recommend. He is a decent professor who is occasionally funny at teaching a moderately interesting class. It's bearable/amusing.

Very good at what he teaches. If you study the tests aren't that bad. The hardest part for me was paying attention to what he was saying, and stop undressing him in my mind!

This class sounded so interesting but I really didn't like it. Lecci is nice and a good professor but the info is a lot of repeat from 105. Kinda dull. I didn't learn a thing. Lots of more interesting psych classes out there.

He posts his power points online so attendence isn't necessary but he gives extra credit if you go. Tests are way easier then most of the psy 105 classes, all MC. As long as you go over the notes and do some reading before the tests there not bad at all. 3 Tests make up entire grade. Would definetly recommend.

Lecci is a good teacher who genuinely wants to help you. He is easy to talk to and his intro class is big (70-100). To get an A, look at the book, movies, powerpts, and your notes. He gives out the ppts but take notes also because there is a lot of supplemental info that he says in class that you need to hear for the test. 3 hours is too long.

He gives extra credit for attendance but it's not mandatory. Class is long (2 1/2 hours) but he tries to make it bearable by joking around a lot. Posts his notes online and his tests are really straight forward, which is how tests should be for an introductory class!! By far one of the best professors at UNCW. Smart, funny, definitely keeps your attention. Contrary to popular belief, you do need to attend class and take notes. He does put the powerpoint online, but it really isn't very useful without the information he says in class.

Really great guy. The subject matter is really interesting and the class is very easy. Test questions come from lectures. Powerpoints are online but don't make sense unless you go to class and take your own notes to supplement and clarify. I didn't use the text at all. Just study that and you will easily make an A.

I loved having Dr. Lecci. Extremely interesting, funny and intelligent. His exams were very well organized, and his class isn't difficult if you attend every class and review the powerpoints before the exam. Reading the book does boost your test scores as well.

I love Dr. Lecci. Yes he's good looking, but it's not just that. He takes concepts from the class and gives great examples to help you remember them and relate them to every day life. He let me make up an exam I missed because of a death in the family and was very respectful about it. Take notes on things he SAYS not just the powerpoints. Love him!

Saying that I love him, and his class, is an understatement. He made psych really interesting and fun; I got over 100 by doing the extra experiments and always having my clicker. Come to class and you'll be easily prepared for exams, and get lots of extra points :)

Dr. Lecci's tests are very hard. Half of the time I don't fully understand what he is asking. He is a great guy and tries to crack little jokes every once in a while, but he really needs to make his tests better.

Great professor and is very engaging. Gives lots of examples about what he's talking about, and really makes you listen to his lectures. Easy to connect the dots in this class. His tests are pretty tough - I took one expecting a B+ at the least and received a C... don't go in with too much confidence!

Professor Lecci was absolutely wonderful. He is an excellent lecturer and makes a class of 100+ students feel much smaller. As long as you attend the class and take good notes, passing is not a problem. Fortunately, Lecci makes attending class worthwhile by making the subject interesting. Highly, highly recommend.

He puts so much into his lectures to set his students up for success. His tests can be hard if you don't study, but if you put the effort in, it is well worth it. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Fairly easy class to take online. Grading is really straightforward - pretty much divided into 3 self-paced sections, each with a discussion, 3 quizzes, and an exam.

Dr. Lecci is seriously the best, he is there for advice and makes class fun and enjoyable. His lectures are to the bell so let him finish and stop packing up at 5 till its so rude! Get the book, read the book and study the book since he wrote it , a lot of the material on tests come from the book. Tests are tricky and you really have to study!

I liked his class a lot and I appreciated the pace at which he taught. However, the test questions were extremely poorly written (you had to try to understand the question before thinking about what the right answer was). I feel like his tests had more detail than his lectures. Overall he is a nice guy. (also, you better get the textbook).

I bought the book but never used it and still got an A. He uses powerpoint slides and all of the test questions come from them. Just print out the slides, write everything he says onto the slides, and study them. No reason not to get an A. Extra points come from the required assessments that you do in class & they are super easy. Take him!

Dr. Lecci is a great professor-tough class though. You have to work hard to do well on his exams. However he's extremely helpful and will give you tips on the best way to study if you meet with him! Lectures are vital with the brilliant Dr. Lecci; don't skip! That being said, he is a really funny guy, though his course was challenging for me. Not an easy A! I recorded his lectures to make sure I retained all the info.

Super easy online test. Has 3 sections that contain 3 quizzes each and a section exam. No final exam. Requires the use of Packback but thats an easy 100! 10/10 recommend this class and this teacher!

Lecci is a genius. He's one of the smartest professors and people I've ever met. I scored a C on the first test but wound up with a B+ in the class after visiting him during office hours several times. It helps to be a good note taker if you want to do well in this class. You will learn a lot if you take 246 with Lecci.

Dr. Lecci's online course was very easy. If you read the material and take an active part in the online discussion, there's no reason you won't make an A in this class.

There are 4 tests that are 70 questions each and you're typically required to know all the information. I spent between 6-10 hours studying for each exam to get an A. You learn a lot but the lectures are dense and mostly him talking

However, his exams are a bit ridiculous in the questions asked and its more about the parts of the research he discusses like the IV and very random specific questions that isnt discussed in class and doesnt make sense. If you study hard and go to class then you can get an A.

Dr. Lecci is engaging and kind, and it is obvious that he cares for his students. He presents interesting questions and studies and puts an emphasis on understanding the material rather than memorization. He keeps lectures interesting and does his best to answer any question. He is a wonderful professor and I cannot wait to have him again.

Very easy summer psych class. Definitely need the textbook but only three sections, each ten days long. Fairly easy quizzes and exams and interesting discussion posts. Overall, be sure to read the syllabus and you should have 0 problems getting an A.

Dr. Lecci's class is fully online, he is very helpful with feedback on discussion posts and gives in depth info in order to get them done. Based completely on quizzes, discussions and tests for 3 sections. If you take notes and read the chapters you will pass

Dr. Lecci is a good professor. His lectures are dense and tests focus heavily on the research discussed in class. Theres only 4 tests, one assignment, and an optional paper. His tests are hard, so take this class when you have lots of room in your schedule to study for it.

This class was so interesting. You have to study for his exams, but we're in college so come on, we need to start studying. He is so smart and caring, you just have to care too. Taking him again for PSY 324. My favorite PSY professor.

3 things: Note taking, Reading the textbook, and studying. If you are good at these things then you will do great in this class. I studied anywhere from 2 hours to 8 hours and got a 92 and a 100 respectively on those tests. He does curve around 10 points for each of the 4 tests and the class average without the curve is around a 70.

Dr. Lecci is great!! I got a B- in the class, but I learned more than I did in the classes I got A's in. The exams are 70-ish questions. Your grade is a combination of 4 exams and 4 personality assessments throughout the semester. If you do not go to class, you will not pass this class with just the PowerPoints. I learned SO much.

You can tell professor Lecci is super passionate & knowledgable ab psych. He always found a way to answer questions and made us think about concepts outside our usual lens. Dr. Lecci is a great prof! I took PSY 352 online and it is divided up into 3 sections with 3 quizzes, 1 test, and a discussion for each section with a final paper due at the end of the semester.
