This was the easiest teacher I ever had. Show up, do the assignments (which are easy but relevant). Quizzes are take-home and you get a week or more if needed. Final was super easy and very similar to quizzes. If you show up, you get an A. I had to say he was hot because he was disappointed no one put him on here as hot.

this professor was very easy it is impossible to fail this class or pass with a C. I recommend that you take this professor for any class required for you to take

He is an easy teacher. He lets you use notes on some of your test. He sticks to his schedule outline for his test. He has some assignments and that helps your grade a lot, so make sure you do it on time. He sometimes gives you extra points on those assignments if you do more than asked.

Took it in 6 weeks and got an A! Makes a kind of boring economics interesting and relative to a younger generation. Lowest quiz grade dropped and final doesn't kill your grade at the end of the semester. Great guy, sarcastic at times but keeps the material at a level anyone can comprehend.

he's an easy A if u do everything. u get 2 have a cheat sheet on the test. however what he lectures isnt really on the test. some of it is and some of it isnt. tests are confusing/hard. i would take him tho 4 sure

He speaks PERFECT English, because he is American, which is rare for community college faculty. He kept me wide awake at 8:00 PM.

I agree that lectures were off-topic. Also repeated himself a hell of a lot- which he proudly admits to, since it facilitates understanding. But my problem was that he repeated only ONE topic over and over. There was so much more glossed over in the span of class. Felt like he didn't have the patience to teach the subject. Loved coming to this class, was never boring. Prof. Sloan comes to class prepared, and talks about real life events that pertain to the material. He gives a review (and you are allowed a 1 page fact sheet on test). The material wasn't easy, but he made it very clear for us. Assignments are very fair. GREAT PROFESSOR! Took him for his online print marketing course. Lots of writing (all assignments, quizzes, and final are essays)but easy assignments "write a 200-400 word essay on how marketing has impacted your life". TAKE HIM, you will not regret it! I got straight A's on every single assignment, and the book isnt really needed.

This is a very interesting class to take at BC. The teacher has a great sense of humor and you will definitely learn a lot from him. The class grade is comprised of 4 quizzes, 8 one-page assignment covering some economic issues, and extra credit tasks. All you have to do the work and do some light studying. (DB03)

Loved this teacher! Not only is he funny but he's inspiring! Loved his calm attitude and always witty comments. You could tell that he is a very intelligent guy based on his lectures. He gets right to the point in a clear way. The only drawback about this class is that you have to read the book in order to ace the exams. But other than that, great!

I didnt think this class was going to be as easy or entertaining as it is, his tests are exactly what he teaches, allows cheat sheets on tests (3 of the 4 count lowest grd dropped)has 8 hw assignments and lets you know as long as you do each hw and score a 6/10 on the tests (which have 1/2 point curve) you will receive an A. Pretty easy, cant fail

He is the man. You turn in 8 review papers which are cake, all they are is half a page summary of the article and half a page of your opinion. He softened it for my class and had a day where 1 paper counted as 2 so we only had to do 4. His lectures are so funny and relatable.I honestly learned more in his class then any Ive ever taken.

Prof. Sloan is a great professor. Took him for Macroeconomics and I'm going to attempt to get him for Microeconomics. He helps understand the subject better than a lot of teachers. He doesn't really give any homework at all, and if he does its usually an extra credit assignment. His tests aren't hard, just study. Gives some answers on tests too!

If you take this class because you have too perfect guy! My tip to getting an A in his class. Do all the assignments because it helps you in the end for excusing you on his quizzes. One of my favorite teachers I have taken, I wish I would have taken him for Microeconomics as well. He really is a good teacher and is very passionate about what he is teaching and he helps you understand it. He gives 4 tests and the lowest grade is dropped and you get a few writing assignments but there is no way you can't pass his class.

Professor Leo was AMAZING!!! he's one of the best professors I've ever taken. I took him for the Fall semester in 2017. His lectures are mentally mesmerizing the way he teaches the material and how he applies it to real world situations. &quot;Just show up and do stuff!&quot; and you will pass.

I really loved this class and Professor Sloan! He is so funny and his lectures really help. His writing assignments and quizzes are not difficult but make sure you do well on them. You will definitely not regret taking this professor, he is honestly one of the best!!

Loved Prof. Sloan! So funny and lectures are enjoyable. Assignments are pretty straight forward. If you do enough assignments and get 75 points you can turn in the final and be done with the class. Tests are optional but very easy so I recommend you take them.

You don't necessarily need the book just know the chapter vocabulary and basic concepts. This class was not hard at all but it definitely helps attending his class since he goes over a lot of useful information.

I love him!I took him for ECO2023 ECO2013 and MAR1101 all at the same time. His lectures are interesting and he uses examples that you can understand. You really learn and he gives you tons of time to do ur assignments. Take him if you want an A! He's also funny! My fav professor ive ever taken so far. Absolutely one of the most knowledgeable human-being I know. He lets you know from the very beginning what his expectations are and what is required of you. He gives you the tools and its up to you to run with it. He isnt very big on attendance, even if you show up 5 min before he class ends he give you credit. Prepares you beyond this world.&lt;3

He is the best and if you show up and do the homework you can't not get an A like literally you would have to physically try not to get an A and still then I think it is impossible. ( especially if you study for the quizzes)

I took professor Sloan for Principles of Marketing and he has been the easiest, funniest professor I've ever had. His lectures were entertaining due to his humor and use of real examples. Attendance definitely helps, there are quite a few assignments but nothing difficult, the exams are an easy A because he allows you to use a paper with notes.

One thing I have to say first and foremost, HILARIOUS !!!! This is the best professor I have taken so far. I took him for both MAR1011 and ECO2023. Come to his class for a good laugh and he connects with his students by using real-world examples. Tests were easy and you can use notes. Attendance gives you points and the assignments are fun. EASY A

Dude is AMAZING!!! 12/10 recommend. He's very hilarious and will make class enjoyable. Easiest class i have ever taken. Very great at explaining and knows what he's doing.

I took him in Fall 2018. He's hilarious! It was supposed to be a 2.45 hr class but we usually get out 45 mins early, maybe earlier. The class was easy and not boring. I learned something from him because he gave real-life examples just like what the others are saying. Allows 1 page front-back cheat sheet. The tests were not hard at all. Take him!

This man, is a GEM !!!!! I guarantee, you will not, EVER REGRET taking this Professor. Im not just saying this to be nice or showing favoritism in any way, but this man was the best! Definitely would take him again. Easy tests, easy hw, and very informative lectures.

Professor Sloan is AMAZING, I honestly am so glad i was able to choose him for Micro, and I will be taking him again for Macro. All of his lectures are funny and interesting and straight to the point. Class is never boring! You will not regret taking him. Simple Assignments, simple quizzes and you will learn something along the way.

The best teacher I had. His lectures are very interesting and easy to pass. He lets you to bring a cheat sheet to the test. 4 tests (if you do good on the first 3, you can skip the last one) and 8 writing assignments (not difficult). Take him if you can.

He is a really good Professor, his grading criteria is clear, there are a lot of extra credit opportunities. Some research papers, but you have the whole semester time for them, if you score high in the tests you will not need to take the final. Take him, you will not regret it. :-)

Prof. Sloan has a very particular style of teaching that helps you get really interested in micro and macro. He relates every lesson to current events and helps you understand the concept. You have to write multiple papers, but they aren't too long. He's hilarious and helps his students pass!

I took this professor for Macroeconomic. He is by far the best professor, wish most professor were like this. He have a kid so he understands how hard college can be and what work for students. He try his best to make sure student understand while also passing the class. His written assignment are easy. He provide a test review on D2L. Great dude!
