his tests are easy but some questions are worded tricky. his tests come directly from the notes that he gives you on his website and he also gives a review on those notes, this makes it easy to study for the tests. I'd take him again

He is a great teacher! He prepares notes for his students that really narrow down info from the book. His tests are from these notes, so you know exactly what to study. Just be sure to read his test questions thoroughly.

Oh my gosh he is one of the best professors I have ever had. He explains things so well and in such a strange manner that you go home and read your book and realize you already know everything from the chapter. Give you great tips on how to remeber things such as the smiley face for the CN. Take him you will understand anatomy no problem

I had Dr. Stouder for BSC1086 and BSC1086L and i had the time of my life, he is one of the few professor that has the passion for teaching and takes a personal interest in his student. I took him for lecture only, only 1 student got an A. Its a hard class and you have to study A LOT! Most of the questions if not all come from the Powerpoints and he tells you which slides to study, you do have to memorize ALL the information in ALL the slides he gives you in order to get a good grade. Anatomy is not an easy subject so expect to have to study a lot no matter who you take it with. Mr. Stouder gives you tips on how to remember things and gives xtra credit pts. Best teacher! We really did not use the book that much. He has you print slides for his website and the lecture is straight from there. You must take notes and study. 1086 LAB Great Teacher! You can through him curve balls and becuase he is an M.D. he knows what you are trying to ask, even if you don't make sense. Stouder is great! I took him for 1085 and would definitely take him for 1086 if he taught this summer. He is very straight forward and doesnt try to trick you. Just study the PP and attend class for additional notes. I enojoyed his evening classes because his voice is relaxing!

I love this professor! His online class is very well organized. All the test questions are on the notes he provides so you really don't need a book. Professor Stouder is an awesome Professor for a hard subject like Anatomy. I had him for Lecture 1 & 2 and traveled all the way to this campus just to take him. You have to study as this is a hard subject, but it is all off powerpoint slides. You really do learn so much as he knows a LOT about this subject and answers any and all questions!

Excellent instructor. You only need his powerpoint handouts but you better know your stuff. His test are not straight forward. You need to have an understanding of the material. He will take the time to explain and go over anything you need. One of the better instructors around. To bad he doesn't teach micro.

I recommend his Online General Biology class if you need the credit. Everything is planned out in detail on your syllabus so you can plan ahead. Covers 1 chapter a week with a quiz available from Friday to Sunday. Always study his Power Point presentations. I had to take this class because of my major. I was dreading the class but Professor Stouder made it interesting enough to keep my interest. I took the class online and actually did quite well to my surprise. If you are a hockey fan he's the man!

Prior to this class,I had taken bio with another professor who was terrible. I signed up for Pro.Stouder's online class and I've learnt more than in the traditional class. This class was pretty easy took the online course. Note taking is a must there is no book necessary but all the quizzes and the exams are based on the powerpoints and prior quizzes so make sure to take notes or you wont pass. Dont buy textbook everything in powerpoints and podcast which you should always listen to, dont consider this class too easy or laid back or you may fail. exams make you second guess your knowledge but overall I would take him again because I learned lots of things and his method of teaching an online class is amazing,and his voice is amazing!

I am a business major that just needed the science credit, and i loved this class and got an A. 4 discussions (so easy), 10 quizzes (based on powerpoint), Midterm has all the questions from the quizzes 1-5 and info from the powerpoint, final units 6-10 same set up. Prof. Stouder is the best. I did the online version of this course. 4 simple discussion, 10 simple quiz. There is a mid term and final that you take at the testing center. No text book is required. Make your own notes from the powerpoint and listen to the podcast.Before you take your quizzes, listen to the podcast and review powerpoint. Easy A

Dr. Leo Stouder is an awesome online teacher! I took this class online and I enjoyed it. I was very apprehensive about taking Biology because I don't really care for it. Taking his class online made it a LOT easier. The discussions are easy and the quizzes are very easy if you listen to podcasts and take notes. There's also extra credit! Grade: B

Stouder is my fav teacher by far at BC. I took him for A&P 1&2 with labs (all in one semester) and recieved A/B in all classes. Of course you have to put in your own study time but he prepares you well for all tests & practicals. This class is a little stressful because there is a lot of info but I promise you he is worth it! Highly recommended!!!!

DR.Stouder is amazing.I took the fastrack course blended. All test and exams comes from notes and powerpoints..all online.no textbook is required for class..only lab. Pretty straight Forward. This is an accelerated (online/in class). You finish both anatomy 1 and 2 in one semester. His lectures are fun and interactive. I enjoyed taking his class and I would recommend anyone who wants to finish A&PI&II in one semester, you should take it with Dr. Stouder. There's no homework, but the there is a lot of studying! I passed with an A.

Took Bio online. I was not sure if taking online class was a good idea but I liked it. Read powerpoints and listen to the podcasts (these tend to be boring). There are quizzes for each chapter (easy quizzes from powerpoints). Midterm and Final area easy as well but you must study. Very nice guy who tries to make Bio interesting.

Professor Strouder is a great teacher. Very fun and kept the class interesting. His videos, podcasts and humor kept my attention. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to take any of the classes he teaches.

A&P 2 in an 8 week class is not easy so don't expect it to be an easy A. But with the materials provided by Dr. Stouder there is no reason why you shouldn't pass. I was hesitant about taking this course but learned so much and his way of teaching is easily understandable. Lecture 4 Exam, 6 Quizzes, 4 Discussions, and possible 10 XC Points.

Great teacher. I took this class online and like it very much. Class was great and relatively easy. Just study his PowerPoint notes and you should be fine. He is very helpful and gives extra credit opportunities.

I personally LOVED his class, he always tries to tell a joke or anecdote related to what he is teaching to help the info stick. He gives a review before the exam and if you study what he gives there is no reason to not pass. I put his podcasts on repeat on my ipod and listened at work. The last test is made by the dept head, study all slides.

You learn exactly what you need to know without all the extra unnecessary assignments from a full semester class. I took him for A&P1(BSC2085 & lab) & A&P2(BSC2086 & lab) for the 8 week fast track classes. I got them both out of the way in one semester. His power points & podcast are very helpful, especially the science lab for the lab finals.

Dr. S is the best professor in Broward college. He makes it 100% possible for anyone to pass with an A. He has set the bar for any teacher i'll ever take. After we took him for A&P I 6 of us students signed up for A&P II because that's how amazing he is! Follow the slides, don't buy the book (you'll never use it he tells you to save the $) enjoy!

He's a GREAT teacher!! I really enjoyed his class, he's really funny and uses lots of analogies to help us understand the course. A couple of times I had problems with some topics but Dr. Stouder took the time after class to re-explain it to me. Gives extra credit, podcasts, slides which you can use to study for tests in addition with your notes.

This was a very tough class but Dr. Stouder does a great job explaining the material. It was a short term and quizzes were given after each class. He keeps you awake with his lame jokes. I would take him again if needed. He does take a while to grade tho. Overall he was fair!

An AMAZING professor i took the 6 week course, you didn't need to buy the textbook because he did his test based off of lectures in class and the powerpoints. He also told you what to focus on for the test. He didn't mind you showing up late to class either. His tests are fair and he gave us a chance for extra credit! I Highly recommend!

He can be very difficult as far as the test but if you prepare and study the power points and really put the work in you'll be fine. He's a fair professor and easy to talk to if you need to. He has a "dad" sense of humor but he's still funny. I'd take him again in a heartbeat. Also, book not necessary (except the lab, def need it) but is helpful.

Dr. Stouder for PHI is such a solid choice. I highly recommend this course. he kept it fun, had some entertainment in the powerpoints, and there was a lot of extra credit.

Dr. Stouder is by far the most amazing professor that I have ever had. His lectures are very thorough with the perfect amount of humor. He does not test on anything that he does not discuss in class and has podcasts of his lectures available on D2L. Every semester people fight like hell to make it into his class for a reason. Dr. Stouder has so many resources and different modules for you to learn from so that you can take advantage of how you learn best. The material itself is pretty demanding so make sure you put some time. Just simply showing up to lecture wont save you. Stouder is pretty hilarious and really makes it quite interesting. Highly recommended.

If you miss labs you are going to fall behind. The lab manual serves as a guide for the class and the final practical. Make sure to study for the weekly quizzes and go to the Academic Success Center... take pictures of all the microscope slides and models that he mentions in class!!

G.O.A.T. Took Dr. Stouder during a 6 week summer session. You have to study the powerpts. His test are very tricky but he offers extra credit, take home quizzes and 2 take home exams. His lectures are long but he is so FUNNY and calm. He has great methods to remember info on the powerpts. It's was an interesting and fun class

Professor Stouder is the best. He is so knowledgeable because he's a chiropractor and relates every lecture to how it applies to your body in the day-to-day world. He comes up with these extremely cheesy jokes that are only funny because they are bad but they help you retain everything. Took him for A&P 1 and 2 and got an A and a B. Awesome dude!

A&P is Not an easy subject, you have to take a lot of time out to study! his podcast and notes are really helpful. just show up to class, take notes and STUDY! and you will pass. he has a great humor. corny jokes. makes it a little easy to learn.

Great professor, there are 4 exams. 2 you take at home and 2 in class. All of your quizzes you take at home. He tells you what to study on the slides for his exam. I never opened the textbook once for this class. I honestly feel like its impossible to fail his class. Science is my worst subject but I passed with an A. TAKE HIM YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

If you miss lab you will fall behind. There is a quiz everyday before lab. Then there is a final practical. I would highly recommend going to the lab to study for your final practical. If you study you will pass. He's just a great professor that wants you to pass.

Professor Stouder made Anatomy 1 and 2 a breeze. You definitely need to study. But he makes it easy to understand and hes by far one of the best professors. I took him for both lectures and lab for Anatomy 2.

Professor Stouder was great. He was really chill and funny. However he doesnt check attendance but you must study. He has 4 test in his lecture. All online but 2 you take together as a class you must study for. The other two are taken at home. Every week a quiz due Sunday . And 4 discussions . Gives 20 pts extra credit. No way u can fail.

He is a Phenomenal lecturer and his stories/jokes help to remember material. Study the powerpoints to pass. Tests are a bit TRICKY so you must know the material really well. Listen to podcasts before class. He gives 2 online tests and 2 tests taken in class. I'm taking him again for A&P2. Provides excellent resources for learning material.

Truly a life changing class. The material alone is phenomenal, but you couldn't have paired it with a better professor. It's not even the fact that it's an easy A... it's that you truly learn about applicable principles... AND you have the privilege to be taught by one of the best in the field.

I took him for A&P 1 & 2 over the summer and Im really happy I did! Hes a great professor, keeps his lectures interesting with jokes and useful mnemonics that help you retain the material. The classes were hybrid, so discussions and quizzes online and 2 tests in class, 2 online. Tests can be a little tricky but straight off the ppts. Take him!

I took Dr. Stouder for anatomy 1 & 2 and the labs. He's a great teacher and an even better person. You don't need to buy the textbook for lectures because all the test questions come off the powerpoint. Hes awesome. Such a great class. The professor himself is very good, hes funny and understanding and the class challenges you to think differently. I think a lot of students say they don't need this class and it may be true but after taking it, i would take it again and again.

Excellent interactive professor!! He uses amazing Mnemonics to help you retain information. Practical is cumulative. It is written. NO MIDTERM. QUIZ every day before class. Practical was tricky. But, if you study, you'll pass.

This professor is so great! Just finished a semester with him and I'll be taking him for A&P 2. This isn't a super easy class but he makes the material easy to remember and I learned so much from him. He gives chances for extra credit. He also posts his lectures online which is extremely helpful when studying for tests.

Outside teacher! AP is a hard class because it's a lot of information but he sums it up and explain it well. He do not complicate his test study his slides and you will be fine. I took him for AP 1 and 2.

he was my professor for philosophy and honestly he is a great teacher , you do have to attend class as its philosophy and you have to speak and say what you think about certain things but its nothing too difficult. the power-points are very helpful everything you need to know is there . i definitely recommend this teacher .

My experience with stouder was wonderfall i took Anatomy 1 and 2 with him. Dr Stouder is a very knowledgeable teacher and you will learn a lot in this class. If you show up and do the work you will pass. He is very caring and if you show effort he will not fail you. When i do become a nurse i will make sure that i go back and thank him!

I absolutely love this professor. I have learned so much in his class. I took him for Anatomy I and II and I wish I could take a class with him again. His tests are tricky but if you study and listen to the lecture that is also posted online, there is no reason to not get a A or B.

I will miss Dr Stouder! Very respected! It was not easy, But i got an A for both LAB and Lecture. You have to put effort, an easy A won't come falling from the sky. You will have to read!! Quiz every time you go to eat before class starts so you have to read the lab book to pass. Take pictures on the microphone for midterm and final. He tells you everything hes going to have on it so listen carefully to him. Extra credit helps and skills check is a must do print it out. Midterm and final the spelling counts so practice on it.

Took this as a blended class, all you have to do is show up to class . Classes consist of discussions. very caring and understanding teacher. Responds quickly. Work is super easy, you can find everything online. Midterm is verbal and completed with group members. The final was 10 questions.

AMAZING Professor! 4 exams, 4 discussions, 6 quizzes. I would advise that for tests you ensure you know your powerpoints. I used flashcards and got As on all tests. His quizzes are tricky, but they are doable. I loved this professor, and wish I had him for anatomy 1. Definitely recommend as a top choice. AND HE HAS EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES!

Dr. Stouder has high ratings for a reason! Hes relaxed, understanding, and hilarious. 2 of the 4 tests of the semester are taken online and the other two are in the testing center. All quizzes are also online. He also provides some extra credit opportunity. He encourages question asking and never belittles students.

Funny teaching professor. There are a total of 4 tests, 2 take home and 2 in testing center. *BE AWARE* with the quizzes and take-home tests every question is submitted as you go on to the next question, so you cannot skip a question and then go back to it later on. So make sure you pay close attention to the details on powerpoints. Also, XC video.

He has 7 quizzes & extra credit and tells you exactly what slides to go over for tests no text book needed. Lab is STUDY & spelling! he has quizzes online & EC. best professor ever had! a real gem

great professor would definitely take him again. You have to be motivated to learn in class and on your own. Exams come from his slides and if you take him for lab your best bet is to learn while participating in the lab.

I took Professor Stouder's Introduction to Philosophy course (PHI2010), and found him funny, beguiling, and engaging. He has a dry wit, but he's also accessible and very open to clarifying any dense and confusing topics. His quizzes were pretty simple, but there is a moderate level of writing. He provided a free textbook, too. Loved his class.

Look, he is a good professor but without my classmate's help I would have had an F right now. But then again that was my fault. His deep, monotone voice and dry comedy made me so intrigued to go to his lectures. I loved coming on to his lectures because he would explain it well and if you didn't understand he would break it down. VERY FUNNY GUY!

i love professor Leo!! i emailed him so much, even on weekends and he always answered never ignored my emails. fairly easy class as king as you listen to his lecturers and review his powering. i actually learned, podcasts also help. hes very sweet and lenient too. take him!!!

Easy A honestly. He's a cool guy and he cares about his students. The work is fairly easy and if you have questions he will answer them for you. All quiz answers are in the PowerPoints, the discussions are boring but he only does 5 of them, and the oral exam is easy. He makes you really think about what life is. I would take him again.

Dr. S is an amazing professor! I was extremely nervous signing up for Anatomy since I have already failed it once but Dr. S makes lectures fun and provides a different perspective on the human body. Don't get me wrong the test and quizzes are challenging but if you study and put time in you will do great. Also offers extra credit opportunities.

Dr. S is the best Prof I have ever had. I aced both Ap I & II. He made everything so easy for you to understand and remember. You dont need the books since he will give you his slides for all chapters, and his exams are from the slides. Take time to study main points from the slides and you will get an A.

I took the Philosophy course with him and he was amazing! It was truly an incredible experience. The classes were all so interesting and challenged your thinking in ways unexpected. He let's you know what the course expectations are and it's up to you to follow up on them. He makes learning a natural experience.

I 1000% recommend you take this professor. He teaches the content in this course in an easy to understand way. I really wish I would have taken him for A&P 1. The exams are very easy, and as long as you go to lecture and study you will pass! And he offers 15 points worth of extra credit, definitely would take again.

Prof. Stouder makes Anatomy & Physiology I the easiest it can be. He provides a plethora of resources/ information; lectures, podcasts, power points. He even gives a list of slides to pay special attention to prior to exams. And you can definitely tell he enjoys teaching this subject.

I wrote a review before but I am writing another one because of how strongly I feel about the experience I had. If you listen to him and use his resources to study, there is no way to fail. I am now a nurse and still use his memory tricks at work. I received a 96% on my HESI for the anatomy portion. Take his class if you actually want to learn!

It was very interesting and inspiring class. I enjoyed the class very much. Professor Stouder is amazing. He guided class to have many different discussions about life and different things. Professor was very easy going and very supportive as well. I would love to take this class all over again.

Professor Stouder is an amazing professor who is caring for all of his students. He teaches off powerpoints and really helps you understand concepts. There was 2 in person test which he proctored. They were a big challenging but if you dont do well theres 2 other test that arent proctored. Overall 10/10

Dr. Stouder made a tough subject like anatomy enjoyable. He has a great sense of humor and is light hearted which helps not feel so overwhelmed by the material. We were able to acquire several different ways of earning extra credit points. He gives interesting side notes to go along with the lecture that helps us understand the history behind it.

Took Dr. S for the first 1/2 of the summer semester and he was fantastic. I'm not a big biology person, but his lectures and style made learning fun. Look, A&P is not an easy subject so you have to put work into it. Most people need it for Nursing/Grad school so you need to know this stuff. Dr. S makes it easier & enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Funny, chill guy. It's too bad we didn't do anything physical in the lab, especially since we took that VARK test, it didn't really matter. Real easy A plus extra credit, but be ready to spend $75 on a book you rarely touch in class; it is mandatory for skill checks and helps with studying terms but super disappointed that we did nothing in class.

Taking him for AP2 and lab. Super easy, and provides powerpoints and podcasts to follow along with for most lessons. Uses mnemonics for the hard stuff! Exam questions come straight from powerpoints. I recommend studying hard on the in-class exams. 2 in class no notes, 2 at home open book.

Best AP professor at BC. I took him for AP1 lecture and now taking him for AP2 lecture and lab. Very knowledgeable, funny, laid back and easygoing. He made anatomy easy to understand and remember. Professor Stouder was a good teacher. In order to pass his class with a good grade is by studying for your midterms and finals. His class is test heavy with other assignments but they are less points. Both test are 100 points. Other than that he's at helping you remember things for the tests.

I highly suggest you take this Professor. He is so understanding and actually wants to see his students pass. He requires one proctored exam which is the midterm but the final is not proctored. His exams are straight from his PowerPoints. He goes over and beyond to make sure his students are passing.

Amazing lectures will forever remember what he said about the heart (it takes blood 1st and then supplies the body) if u going into health care learn from the heart and take care of yourself 1st to be able to care for others & be a positive influence. Professor S deserves everything. I took his class for AP1 + lab and AP2 + lab. And if this doesn't speak about his teaching, i don't know what will. He is the best professor that BC has. He is understanding, though on grading (fair). He gives you so much podcast, videos, slides before the exam. His lectures are hilarious, joking here and there.

Professor Stouder was great! I had his Zoom lab twice a week. His lab book was out of stock for nearly all of the semester but was accommodating to the issue. His lab powerpoints are what the test questions are on. He offers an easy extra credit. The only issue is that his tests at short answers due to diagrams and naming, but not too difficult.

This class was great. Had him for lecture and lab. The Zoom meetings were fun because he would crack a joke every now and then. He would make sure everyone understood the material. If you don't understand speak up because he will help without making you feel bad.

Funniest, most laid-back, present person to exist. He is a true anatomy nerd & you WILL learn. He makes class interesting & fun. If you engage often in class like laugh at his jokes, answer/ask questions - he will favor you. He does make his tests tricky. Like he words things tricky. But he is a gem. If a seat is even open for him, take it.

Professor Stouder makes learning anatomy engaging. Though the lectures move quickly, studying the slides and using unstuckstudy ai for practice helped me stay on top of the material. Overall, a rewarding class with a fair grading system.

I enjoyed this class. All you have to do to pass is show up and read the material. His due dates for assignments can be wonky and hard to follow with random changes and no communication, but it won't stop you from passing.

easiest lab ever, quizzes after each lab but he lets you leave 30 min earlier, and only two exams: mid and final, mid is in person and final is at home. Only assignments other than those are skill checks which are 3 questions after each lab. Lecture was short and quick so if you are reliant on lecture id say prepare to teach yourself a little.
