Gives an outline for each section, ALL test questions right from the outline. He gives 16pts extra credit on every test, and if you have an A avg after the first 4 tests (VERY EASY) you don't have to take the last test at all. Super fun guy; he made what could have been an incredibly boring class awesome!

DR A is by far my favorite teacher. his class is not hard at all, in fact it was the easiest class I have ever taken but don't let that stop you if you are serious about psychology you learn more and more importantly retain more with him than any other teacher I have had. he is living proof it can be easy and effective

I hardly had any homework BUT I remember SO much from this class, more than I remember from any of the classes that give endless assignments. He does in-class notes and around 5 tests. He's an all around stand-up guy.

Absolutely love his class! People who have free time come sit in on his lectures because he is so good. You can tell he is only skimming the surface of his vast amount of knowledge,but you learn above and beyond. He always points out special info for Pre-nursing students. Easy,entertaining,relaxed. What more could you ask for?

If your attendance is favorable and you have an A in the class, you don't have to take the final. Easy class & interesting lectures. He doesn't tolerate phones in his class & he will call you out on it. Read the powerpoint and you'll easily pass his tests.

BEST PROFESSOR AT WC! He's hilarious and you will never be bored in his class. It's hard not to make an A! He gives you handouts for everything that you will cover, take notes on those. His tests come straight from the handouts. If you have few absences and a decent grade, you don't have to take the final.

To say this class is an easy A is not intended to imply it's a blow off class. It's an easy A because it's easy to want to go. It's easy to stay alert and engaged in his lectures, making it easy to learn the material. He's brilliant, cocky, and genuinely interesting. Best class so far!

Unless he changes things up, his class is easy. Attendance matters in this class. If you have an A in the class and good attendance by the end of the 4th test, you don't have to take the 5th test or the final. Lectures are long and boring, but he's funny and if you just review the notes he gives you'll do great. Don't buy the book!

I hate school. I just want it to be over but Dr. Abbott's Intro to Psychology was amazing! It was my favorite class throughout the semester and not just because it was easy. I was really upset when his class ended because I enjoyed going. He made it interesting which made it easy for tests. I'd listen to his lectures in my free time. I love it

Dr. Abbott is an amazing guy! This class is SUPER easy. I pretty much came to class, took his tests, and never made below a 100. I never studied. He allows you to get 12 easy points for extra credit. The only reason I did extra credit was to know I got an A no matter what. Just show up to class and pay attention to his interesting lectures. No HW!

He is funny in general. He tries to make the class interesting by making jokes which it does help a lot. He is a bit full of himself but the jokes about him make the class a bit more interesting. To pass his class u just need to show up and listen to his lecture and study the packet with his picture on it. I would take his class again if i could.

His class is so easy. All you need to do is show up to class at least everyday. If you miss a class, which he knows people do on purpose, you miss certain things that will be on the test that you could only get in class. His notes are easy, just read the notes and they are word for word and he goes over it word for word for the test, which are easy

Dr. A is an excellent professor who cares about his student's well-being and success. Making an A is pretty much guaranteed as long as you attend class and review the handout he gives for each chapter. He gives ample opportunities for extra credit on every test. Dr. Abbott has been my favorite professor so far. He is funny and cares about his students. His class was fairly easy and very laid back. He provides copies of his power-points which makes it way easier to follow. There was not much homework but plenty of extra credit. He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend his class with 2 thumbs up.

Easiest A I've ever made. Dr. Abbott is very intelligent and very clear in his lectures, but can be rude sometimes. Study the handouts and you're good! He also gives plenty of extra-credit opportunities, and the final exam is optional if you have an A average before the final. I would recommend taking him!

DrA is a great instructor, he really cares about the material and wants you to pass. come to class, do not be on your phone or sleep and pay attention and you will pass. you do not have to take notes, as he gives you a packet of what is gone over in each section. he also offers extra credit, so buy the spiral and do it, there's no sense not to.

Dr. Abbott class was a blast. He makes psychology so fun and his tests are super easy. I had the ability to get 12 extra points each test and my lowest grade was a 97. He makes learning fun and his lectures are very interesting. Make sure you show up and you'll be just fine.

Dr. A is great, a little eccentric in class, but a great professor. Show up, pay attention, and you should pass the test. I never studied and made over a hundred on every test because of the 12 points of extra credit that you can get. Whatever you do DONT be on your phone!

I loved Dr. A, he made learning entertaining and you can tell he loves what he does. He gives great extra credit - do it, takes 5 minutes for 12 points!! Make A's on your first 4 test and you don't have to take the fifth one!!! There is no reason you can't make an A in this class - show up, be respectful, no cell phones, and participate.

Dr. A is an amazing professor. Taking him during the summer semester was a real treat. If you do his homework, show up and keep your phone off you will pass his class. I actually learned useful bits about the subconscious from his class, and his tests were always easy to pass. Definitely an amazing professor.

(Frecks) There is no Final and if you make an A average on all of your tests (very easy with all Extra Credit Opportunities) you don't have to take the last one! I made a 103 in this class.

Dr Abbott was amazing. He is very clear cut and dry as far as his expectations. Show up, do your work, and you will get an A. He has 5 exams and if you maintain an A on the first four you can skip the 5th exam. He also has a rather easy essay towards the end of the course. Great guy. Extremely caring. I suggest taking him.

You can have 12pts of extra credit for every test. Listen to lectures (when he repeats something multiple times write it/highlight in the power points) he gives you them. TAKE notes on those. Study those and you WILL pass. EASY A if you go to class, listen to his lectures, and DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. It got me an A in the class instead of a B.

He is one of those teachers that gives off the "hardass" personality and he is but its only because he really cares about you and your education. Lectures are full of information and entertaining, make sure you are paying attention to the words he brings attention to. He gives a print out of the notes so make sure to always have them with you!

Prof Abbott is the best college professor I have ever had. Be on time and sign in when you get to class. He expects no one to be on their phones. If you listen in class, you will learn so much from him. No textbook, he prints off PowerPoints for you. No homework or final exam. No tests, he calls them evaluated experiences. Super easy to pass.

Really great professor! Just make sure you sign in and stay off your phone and you'll be fine. He gives extra credit for every test and will tell you during lectures what exactly will be on the tests. There's no final exam but there is a reflective essay. But he gives you everything you need to make an A!

Sex is talked about a lot but honestly it was a big part of this class he is funny and everything else you read about extra credit and tests is 100% right but you do need the online book he tells you to get it is part of your grade to read it but its all interesting stuff you can print off his slides and highlight the test answers he tells you to

Dr. Abbott was one of the best professors I have had. As a student who only takes classes as Weatherford College over the Summer, Dr. Abbott was such a delight! From extra credit assignments for each test, to giving detailed and personalized feedback on every assignment, you will not regret taking him for PSY2301! Highly recommended.

He made learning fun. The videos, the online canvas book was fun to read. The discussion boards and turning in your assignments on time is a requirement but the workload isn't bad. Fun to watch and read. I would definitely take his class again!

His class was really fun! attendance is a must! If you don't show up, he won't give you extra credit. he's very picky about how you submit your extra credit so follow instructions! The only thing he grades is homework and attendance, no homework. passing his class is easy as long as you go to class and take notes.

He's a really cool guy! Super chill, pretty funny, the ONLY thing he is strict on is 2 things: Show up to class, and correctly submitting extra credit. You showing up to class is so important, he tells you stuff in lecture and puts it on the test but not on the slides, he also takes attendance for a grade.

He is the most amazing! He trys to make everyone scared of him, but hes really caring. He is so funny, Ive never laughed so much in a class before. Dr. Abbott definitely makes his classroom environment a fun one! I recommend to take his classes if you are willing to get involved in class discussion. His tests require quite a bit of studying but he is very clear in lecture about what material will be on the test.

This professor was amazing. However, I did take him online so it was much easier. None of the test were proctored and the only difficult part was a 3 page paper at the end. Even the rubric on that was very easy. We had to do one discussion post each week which was also not difficult at all and normally took me 10 minutes. This is the easiest class!

My favorite professor!! Very clear instructions, very engaging. I took this as a summer course online but he stayed in touch the whole time and gave great feedback. I would recommend everyone take him if signing up for psychology

Dr. Abbott is very caring and nice. He gives clear feedback on stuff that you turn in. And responds fairly quickly when you send any emails. I took the social psychology class online but I would've definitely taken it in person. I've heard many good things about him and he seems to make you laugh even if it's through a screen from reading a message

He is an incredibly fair professor who is as engaging as he is entertaining. If you show him that you are there to learn and give for effort, you will have no problems. A very wise teacher, he's good just ask him.

Doc will be more than accommodating as long as you give demonstrate that you care about his course. His teaching style is equal parts interesting and funny. He keeps a casual but respectful learning environment. As long as you don't ignore the syllabus or skip class, you'll have a long and fruitful life in his class.

Three exams, self-reflective essay, and participation count for your grade. All he wants is his students to learn about the basics of psychology and most importantly a little about themselves.

Professor Abbott was my first introduction to any type of psychology course, he was very clear and direct in his teaching, as well as adding humor and connection throughout the entire classroom. Dr. Abbot was the driving force behind my career in psychology, I still listen to my recordings of his class 5 years later, and learn something every time.

Dr.Abott gives three test, all of which extra credit can be applied, worth five extra points. You will have one discussion board question each week. Dr. Abbott responds quickly to emails and cares about his students. If you participate and do the work, you will have no problem passing this class.

Dr Abbott is a great guy. He'll answer your questions with a smart-aleck tone that's just enough to make you laugh and not feel stupid for asking. While he is a no nonsense teacher about rules he will gladly be willing to help you on something you don't quite understand with engaging classroom activities.

Doc Abbot is extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. He communicates concepts very clearly and wants nothing less than your success. He makes Psychology fun without making it simple. If you're a guy, be prepared to get picked on a little. I learned so much and got the grade I needed because I knew what material to study. FIGJAM!

Professor Abbott was my first introduction to any type of psychology course. He is a very smart guy and knows what he is talking about. I felt like I learned something new every day in his class.

Professor Abbott is super encouraging and responds/grades SO quickly. He also opens assignments early and is NOT a tough grader. There is just a weekly discussion, 5 exams, and an essay. There are also extra credit opportunities for each exam. He is a little disorganized and wonky but a very lighthearted guy!

Dr Abbott relates to his students he wants them to succeed and have fun. He cares so much for everyone of his students but show up to class. You will take a lot of notes but all of his notes are available 24/7 the notes you take will help you tremendously on tests. Dr. Abbott is one of the first professors I took when I started college, and I remember being overwhelmed and crying. He was a professor that I will always remember because he told to continue on with my dreams and my future, never give up. I am now working on getting my doctorate degree because he taught me to not quit when it tough.
