You should definitely take Mr. L. The class is difficult because the material is difficult. You must learn how to do neat and clear work. You will learn physics and you will learn that you are not supposed to take summer classes--you are supposed to travel. That way, when you get old, you can still play racketball. Take his class before he retires.

He is the teacher who tires hard to be helpful, but he doesn't take enough time to explain the labs and he just takes the tests. also he often expects student to do the very difficult homeworks after he does a simple examples. he also doesn't teach the materials in last weeks of the term very well so study those really hard by yourself.

He is less strict on 1C than on 1B. I got higher grade in 1C than in 1B. Even though 1C material is more difficult, he was less strict on it. But the lecture is still fun and interesting. To get good grades, print out his study guide before exams.

Great teacher I had him for the 8 week Phy-11 course it was a great class but I would have preferred a traditional 16 week course so everything did not feel so rushed but still a great class he explains everything very clearly and the class is not a bore lots of demos and interesting stories but be prepared to work it is by no means an easy class

A great teacher and a great course for a understanding of conceptual physics. I really wish we would have covered electricity and magnetism but it's not his fault, the course was only 8 weeks. I did really like the fact the course was 8 weeks, and even more importantly, the first 8 weeks of the semester. Great professor!

Great Professor!!! Indeed he will give you a lot of notes as well as homework but it will all be useful for his exams. Do deicate time in reviewing and reading the material. Time Mangement!!! He will offer extra credit too. Nicenet ( a website he will use to communicate with you) is helpful for practice questions for the exams!

Physics 11 was a really fun, educative course thanks to Mr. L. I have always been interested in taking physics, although it was difficult for me I learned a lot helpful information. The eight week course was definitely noticeable for me, but paying attention, the extra credit oppurtunities as well as the hw and participation points helped me a lot.

One of the best professors I've ever had! His tests are tough but as long as you go to every class, do ALL homework, and dedicate time to this class, you'll succeed. His lectures are great and he's hilarious! His demos are super helpful and be sure to do the extra credit when offered, it's worth it. Take him, you won't regret it!

Took Leonardo years ago. Lectures are amazing as well as the demos and anecdotes. The homework is very challenging as are the exams. You do learn everything you need to do the homework in the class lectures but you'll still spend 10 hours per week on homework. If you can do all the problems from scratch you will get at least a B on the exams.

Would take again

Leo leonardo is a true gem. He genuinely cares about his students learning and always makes himself available to help. If you are looking to learn he is amazing. If your looking to skate by and waste your money not being challenged then dont take his classes. Let those spots go to someone that wants to learn.
