Nice guy. He talks to you like he's trying to calm down an infant and talks like he really cares....kind of like richard simmons. But i recommend taking his class.

Very nice man....I got above 100's on all four tests....He gives you the questions on the review day...so make sure you go on that day..otherwise skip as much as you want...easy, very easy A

Hes an excellent professor, just take notes and you'll get an easy A i had psy. professors in highschool and got C's I got an A in this class hes really nice to.. and just before tests he tells you EXACTLY whats on it so take notes!!!!

The best teacher I have ever had. He will remain a mentor for me throughout my PSY journey in college. All around 10. Every Professor could learn something from him. His class is truly a pleasure and should not be taken for granted!

this class is very interesting and he is a very nice professor. He gives excellent examples, and the long class goes by really fast because he makes it easy to understand and follow. He is very understanding if you need a day off for a personal reason, and he is my favorite professor this semester.

You know what you can tell he really love's his job because not only he teaches you something about life but he brings he own life stores into it making it more interesting for the students that have to be in class 3 days out of the week, for an hour and something minutes. I mean he made it worthwild those he wasn't good to look at...lol

Great teacher, however too laid back. But there is a balance and he is a great teacher and willing to help you if you need it. Book is not required, all notes are on the board and in order to pass just be present in every class and take notes and study. Overall, a good class.

THIS IS THE BEST CLASS!!! you dont need a book and everything on the test we go over word by word...you can miss like 5 or 6 classes and its sooo easy...without paying attention you can learn...but beware of his "funny" jokes....j/k

He's such a sweetie! An actually psychologist with many useful examples to share from his own practice. He really, really cares that everyone is following along and getting the material. He will spend time helping you out of class if you need it. Not a tough class in general though. He's a bright spot in what can sometimes be a tough day at school.

Def take him! He is the nicest man you'll ever meet, and actually cares about his students!! I wish he taught more psychology classes!!

Lenny is fabulous. I have him at 8am and even then, he's in an incredible mood and just wants to have a good time. He swears and can joke and uses a lot of anecdotes from his therapy work. Basically, come to class, take notes and enjoy yourself. The tests aren't as easy as you'd think, so study. But it's a fun class and a good time.

Dr. Lenny is the BEST teacher at Southern. The tests are 70 mutiple choice questions but he goes over the material so well it is really really easy. He really cares about his students. There's just too many good things to say. =)

This professor is awesome! He gives 4 noncumulative exams which aren't difficult because he gives a study guide before the exams and the final was open book. He goes over topics that you don't understand. He also gives 2 extra credit assignments that could be given in at any time. Overall, easy A if you study. I definitely recommend him!

he has such a great personality and he is funny. the class was an 8am and it was definitely enjoyable! if you show up and take notes you don't really need to use your textbook. he makes study guides & discusses what will be on the tests. there are 4 [including the midterm and final] extra credit is available :)

Very good teacher! He is interesting and very helpful. There are four test throughout the semester and they are all 75 mutiple choice and the answers come right from the notes that he writes on the board everyday. He is overall just a very nice guy who actually cares about his students. I wish i could take another one of his classes.

Prof. Santarsiero is an amazing teacher! Definitely the best teacher I've ever had and probably the best at Southern. He has your best interest at heart and truly wants his students to succeed and will do whatever he can to help you. Don't get the text book. He is very understanding and usually excuses you if you tell him why you were absent.

What a great guy! You don't really need the book. Just take notes in class. He lectures the whole time, and when it comes to the test (4 all semester) just study the notes and it's very easy! He gives great examples, and is funny so that helps you remember the material a little better. Highly recommended!

My favorite professor by far! He is so helpful and he's absolutely hilarious. I would take him again in heartbeat. I never used the book and I got an A in it, he gives you all the notes you need for the test and he gives you a study guide before each one. If you don't take him you're definately missing out!

He is the BEST teacher he explains the class crystal clear he uses examples of real life. If you have any question he will ansdwers as many times as you want. Test are easy I barely study! He is funny and smart and really laid back!

He is an awesome professor. Even though there is no homework or class work, his tests are very easy. As long as you go to class and get the notes you will be fine. Before every single test, he does a review for the entire class time and gos over everything we need to know. I love him!

He is honestly my favorite teacher of all time. He's extremely funny in class; he'll even swear. The notes aren't too crazy. He'll give you notes from the chapter so you really won't need your textbook. For our final he's allowing us to bring our notes, books, or look up on the internet. He's an awesome teacher and you should definitely take him!

I love Dr. S. He is the best! I took him for psy 100 and I was so happy I got to take him again for this class. All notes and PowerPoints on vista, 3 exams on vista and 1 ten minute PowerPoint presentation on a topic that you pick. So nice and helpful. I wish he taught more courses.

Professor Santarsieros class helped me learn a great deal about the mental health field and I learned a lot in his class which I can apply to my future grad school experience, as well as my future career. His tests are easy as long as you put in a decent amount of time studying for them, and he lets you know exactly what will be on the exams.

One of the kindest most genuine professors you will find at Southern. His class is very easy, he accepts late work and his tests aren't bad if you pay attention and read the case studies. His lectures can be a little boring because he reads off the powerpoint but he does have great stories too.

I'm taking Professor Santarsiero right now, he is one of the best teachers I've ever had in the world. He cares about students and gives the best advices. He listens to everyone and appreciates the comments we make in class. I absolutely love him.

lenny is by far one of the best teachers i have had at SCSU. i took his intro to mental health class in the fall of my sophomore year and by far the most understanding and helpful teacher have had. test was online. Lenny is a great person and very knowledgeable of his craft. i would love to take more classes with him if possible.

Best. Professor. Ever. Such a cool dude. I slacked off a little bit in the middle of the semester, and missed three assignments. He emailed me and told me to submit them before the final exam date for partial credit. What I'm saying is that he understands that people have lives outside of school. TAKE THIS GUY FOR 220!!!

Dr. Santerserio is a great guy who respects his students and cares about them. Will help you whenever you need. Bunch of multiple choice stuff and a few easy papers, easy A if you apply yourself.

Lenny is the man! He's super chill and loves what he does. A lot of examples he uses in class are things taken from his own life or clients he has. His tests and quizzes are all multiple choice true or false questions. Quizzes are based off reading and he puts study guides up for tests. All manageable if you study and read! Take his class!!

Professor Santarsiero is an amazing professor. His lectures are a combination of board notes, stories from his career and life, and obviously facts. The class relies heavily on discussion and he makes the class a safe environment. Papers, resumes, and assignments are easy-going and he will accept late assignments provided they are done with effort.

Probably one of the best psych teachers I have ever had! He genuinely cares about his students and wants you to do well. Tests are pretty easy and common knowledge and all of them were either open notes and/or take home. He takes the time to answer your questions as well as answer just general psych questions. Take his class if you can!

He is the best professor at Southern, I took him a couple years ago and learned so much that was helpful for getting into graduate school. He is such a nice guy and has a lot of knowledge and real-world experience to help guide his lectures which makes them interesting. Must take!
