Fairly easy to get an "A". multiple choice final. 4 tests besides final and you get to drop one. final worth 2 tests. homework worth 1 test. he only collects 1 section from each chapter. have to know material pretty well to get A on test.

Very easy going and knowledgable individual in applying mathematical skills. 4 tests and a cumlative final. Collects HW. Ask him to make pracitice tests to prepare for actual tests.

Greatest math teacher I ever had! Clear with the math process and especially the theory behind. Lots of work, but very doable with some effort.

i hate math, but I'm glad I took Deleon. He is so hilarious and random! He's like a 12 year old boy! He drops lowest test score but final is cumulative. Also, beware, he may seem kick back but he doesn't give good grades away...

He is fun and the subject he teaches is interesting because he presents it. Do the homework and you should be fine on exams even on cummulative final. the class was fun when I took it a year a go and I think it is still the same way.

Put a lot of fun into a subject that I have no interest in! Would recommend because he made the class fun and interesting. He has an unusual sense of humor, but you will appreciate him if you are a Star Trek fan!

he's a very interesting teacher because he's kinda goofy; in a positive way. has fun teaching so you don't really get too bored. and he's not strict on homework and will give you practice quizes so you're almost guaranteed to pass. and he barely takes attendance. wonderful teacher!

Ammazing teacher, knows when the class is getting bored so he makes jokes. Grades very easy on tests, no penelty for absence. He loves star trek, make a star trek joke the first day and your made in the shade. Teaches concepts to you like you're 2, but not in a mean way, you understand quicklly and on a basic level.

Deleon is a great professor, if you like/ are good at math or not <-(like me), you will understand his class. The work load is manageable and he makes everything very clear.

He is the best, I am not good at math but I am pulling an A in his class. He goes over the exams the class before and is very clear about what he wants. he also drops the lowest test score

This teacher is rad and sooooo funny!! He goes over everything and gives pratice tests before the real ones. Also has group quizzies and he drops the lowest score. Only thing is he doesn't collect all the hw you do, just a random one before the test, but if you do it all he'll bump your grade if its borderline. If this is ebay id say: A++++++++++++

Prof. DeLeon is a great teacher. He is witty and very entertaining. You can tell he loves to teach, and he is very helpful and approachable. I would recommend this professor to anyone who would like to have fun while learning a tough subject.

This guy is awesome, i sswear when i say this...he is so funny! if you don't like this guy, you're way to stubborn and you need to lighten up...he drops your lowest test score, he gives just a little hw, and his tests aren't that bad, he even gives you a practice test,he is clear fun and so not weird like other teachers!! i recommend him 100%

He is a good teacher. Only has four tests in the semester and you only have to turn one section of homework for each chapter. Has some ok jokes, but in all he is a really cool guy..highly recommended!

alright i would b doing better if i was actually doing the work(i have a c :P). he isnt really funny but there are a couple of moments...in the semester. he presents the material straight up and would answer questions if 1/2 the class werent asleep. not 2 fun but hes not bad if u can stay awake. do the HW and practice tests and u will pass ez. -GH

Maybe it was just me, but I thought he was hilarious. All his little stories and jokes kept the class much more entertaining than the average math class. Probably the first math teacher I could understand well. Was willing to take questions during and even after class, as well as during his office hours. Got an A, I'm happy. :)

Deleon is the best math teacher I've ever had. Math is boring, especially business math. But he is hilarious and it makes the class fun. He lectures on everything you need to know to do homework, and before the test he gives you a study sheet, of EXACTLY what is on the test. He's very helpful, and funny too! Easy class even if you don't like math.

Lets start off by clarifying a couple of things. For those that wrote he was hard...no..you're just stupid. He is a cool teacher and makes advanced calc seem like intro to pre-algebra. He is very funny and uses his humor to loosen up the class. Drops your worst test. I haven't recieved my grade yet, but if I get a B it will be my fault.Easy class!

I took his hybrid Algebra 1 class. ALOT of online and book work, not much in class, only reviews/quizzes/tests. He lets you take group quizzes tho, that was awesome. He is goofy funny and I would recommend.

Professor DeLeon makes math fun and interesting. He is very helpful and wants you to get Math. He does tell jokes but that is what makes him so fun. Take DeLeon!

I am not a math person AT ALL, but Mr. DeLeon made the class fun. I think his wacky ways kept me interested when I would start to drift off. Also, he is all about group work and take home tests. He wants to make sure that people aren't freaked out about learning math. I have always struggled with math, but this was a class I could handle.

Mr. DeLeon is a wacky guy. I thought it was refreshing. The math is not to difficult if you are coming out of a previous math class. Very fair teacher. Collects one homework from each chapter and gives practice tests prior to test. If you are not very good at math and need a lot of instruction you might not want to take him.

I had DeLeon last semester and the class was so awesome. He was all about taking the stress out of math. We had group and take home tests. He's very helpful and a funny guy. I'm not a math person and I recommend this teacher for anyone that has struggled with math.

Took hybrid course & teach did a good job in explaining the basic material that students would be tested on. Teacher is very funny and a bit wacky at times. The test q's are almost exactly like the q's on quizzes, so it helps to study from this material. No set date for online HW due so be sure to keep up as its still worth significant points.

Deleon is crazy hahahahaha just thinking about him makes me laugh, he is hilariously funny. Before an exam he gives the class practice tests that closely resembles the actual quiz, i would totally recommend anyone to take him it was a fun class. Did i mention he was funny hahahahaha.

Easiest math class I have ever taken... He's funny and kind and overall he just has a great personality! Wish all teachers were like him. Final was multiple choice, one test dropped, the regular tests were about 10 problems and similar to the sample tests he gave. You'll learn and succeed with him! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Mr. Deleon is a quirky, hyperactive and really nice guy. In most classes, I probably would not appreciate his jokes and random stories, but in a remedial class it helps ease the stress. I think he knows most of us don't want to be there and is trying to make it as painless as he can.

Prof. De Leon is a GREAT teacher. He makes learning Calculus less torturous with his goofiness and light heartedness. He is very easy going and he will work with you if having troubles. He does not treat you like a child like most teachers- will let you make up tests/homework easily. Has group tests and take home test. He is a great guy!

This math prof is truly the best! Took this class in the summer along with another class. I earned an A. He is caring and really knows his stuff. Even if you are not into math and are reluctant to take this class in the summer, you will succeed in his class. He makes math not intimidating. He is kinda cute too!

Took class online. Two mandatory exams at college. As with any online class, you have to be an independent worker. Very easy to fall behind. Truly a nice professor who cares. Answers any questions you may have. I'd highly recommend him!

Best teacher for math. He's hilarious so he uses that as his teaching tool and keeps you engaged. The hybrid class is the best-hw online, come to class for overview of chapter and tests and quizzes are usually done in groups or take home. Answers any questions you have on the material plus test and quiz answers! Highly recommended!

Sooo he looks exactly like Zach Galifianakis and after I discovered this I just laugh at every he says! (Prof Deleon pointed out his likeness so it's even more hilarious) But anyways, he's super entertaining and engaging.. Tests are multiple choice and he isn't insane when assigning homework. Super easy , helpful and funny. Really hard to get low grades in his class provided that you are not getting free grades but grades that you earned by demonstrating your skills.

If math is your strong suit his class will be easy. If you struggle at all I would not take him. He goes through material quickly and gets distracted VERY easily. He's constantly telling stories that have little if anything to do with math, or gets distracted by something outside, or by the mouse on the overhead, or by his own writing, or, or,

Easy A. Quizzes and tests were all group work. Hw was extra credit. Barely took role, but he really doesn't care if you come or not. I got an A and did really nothing. If you are into math and really actually want to learn, you can because he teaches great :)

Zach Galifianakis-style delivery with Norm McDonald punchlines. 100 is an easy class, and his jokes are hilarious. He does not use Mymathlab, all homework is done on paper, from the book, and is extra credit. If i had to pick a professor to take all the way through Calculus, it'd be this guy.

Math's been a subject I've struggled all my life and this teacher made it bearable. HILARIOUS. Super easy A class since quizzes and some tests are done in groups .HW is extra credit. Though if you aren't a fast paced learner don't take him since he teaches the material by doing a lot of the HW questions.

Great guy! Lectures are straight to the point. Sometimes he speaks fast but he doesn't mind if you interrupt him to ask questions. He says a LOT of funny stories to make the class enjoyable. FYI, the class may be two and a half, but he get all of it done in about an hour and fifteen. Wish I could have him for every math class I take.

Professor Deleon was amazing! His teaching style is unconventional and his test questions are just like the quizzes (which can be done in groups). He takes the fear out of math by creating a fun and stress-free class environment, and his main focus is teaching you to understand the material rather than just remembering steps. Im supposed to drop the class but i'm glad I took the chance of hanging on to his class last year for fall. Pass his class with a breeze even on the near end of the semester when someone else fills in for him due tohis situa. At lease math is out of my way. Its not my fav subject but he made it possible to pass the class with an A w/o lot of effort

Deleon is super chill. He teaches math in an easy simple format. He combines all the sections of the chapters and turns them into 20 question quizzes and tests. He jokes around a lot and his jokes can get boring real quick. Only takes roll for the first day and that is it. Homework is extra credit. But all in all he is super fun and easy.

De Leon is so chill and makes math fun. He always says, "love the math and it'll love you back." Also, we don't need to use the textbook bc he uses an overhead.

I love this man. He is too funny. I hate math with a passion, but going to his class starts my day off great. He doesnt care what people think about him and i love it! He doesnt make me feel dumb when i ask him so many questions. There is no professor like him, hes awesome. There NEEDS to be more like him pleaseeeee!!! Wish he was my dad.

DeLeon is a cool guy, just a real scatterbrain though. He cancelled a few of quizzes and never assigned hw. As a student I need motivation, so I stopped showing up. Hilarious, but most of the class is spent telling stories that have nothing to do with anything. Forgetful, so don't take the class if you really struggle with math, he's not much help.

Ive taken two math classes before this & was severely stressed out. But Professor Deleons motto is its not worth it. He wants math to be fun, for us to learn and not be full of tears. Most of his classes contain dad jokes, stories and a little math. He never puts his students on the spot And he understands people have life outside of class.

It took some time for me to adjust to his teaching style because he tends to tell lots of stories or sing songs during the lessons. He doesn't require you to purchase the textbook as he goes over the sections from the book in class. He doesn't assign homework or takes attendance. He is very understanding and doesn't want to stress his students out.

If you are looking for a all jokes and laughs, lay back, chill math professor, Id suggest this class because he sings and tells stories constantly so I couldnt really get what was going on in class. His way of teaching is kind of difficult to understand so its best to have the textbook even though it was not required. But such a sweet guy.

If you ever get to take Prof Deleon then I would 10/10 recommend him. He is funny and has a different style of teaching, however I have ADHD so the time I usually start to drift is when he starts to be silly. Class is not mandatory he understands you have a life and treats you like an adult.. Never any HW.

Mr Deleon was so funny, he wants to make sure everyone understand his point. Don't be afraid to ask questions. He gives extra credit for all chapters homework by the end of the semester. Optional answers test. Not important if you show up but what it matters is how you do in the tests. Participation matters in class. I recommend him.

Great Professor! With everything going on in the world right now with classes being online I thought this class would be difficult. However, it was the exact opposite. He made sure we had plenty of time to do hw, study, and a lot of time on the exams which is very helpful considering the lengthy problems. I wish more professors were like him!!

Prof Leonel is the best prof. I had 3 classes with him and received A & B. You will need to do all assignments online because his class was fully online, with any questions you are welcome to email or text him. Strongly recommend the class to those who are struggling with math. Practice tests and exams have 50% similar questions. .....

The professor is chill and replies to emails if you email him directly. Opened couple of assignments that i missed no problem. You have to buy MyMath on Pearson and there is all the grading and work. No specific lectures you basically work with computer.

i'm in the middle of taking this class and i don't really agree with the negative comments. he makes it simple to do homework and gives a lot of freedom with the deadlines. responds to emails and extends deadlines without any objections. no complaints but will update once the class ends

Despite the mixed reviews, Prof Deleon's class was manageable with the right approach. I found Unstuckstudy and the textbook very helpful for staying on top of the work.

The work is hard but the class is planned out great. Professor was very helpful and accommodating
