He puts on the test exactly what you have on the homework. If you do your homework and attend classes you will be fine. He is very easy to understand, but also very strict. If you are looking to learn and not only to pass he is the professor for you!

Professor is a very straight forward guy. Explains well. Questions on test are from your homework. Just need to do homework over and over again. Very strict with cell phones ringing in his class, he will take it away if he hears it =)

You got to focus in this class, He is strict and He will deduct points for what you will call little things like the dollar sign or units sold. On the flip side, For his class you don't need the textbook.

Best Management professor in Baruch. Straight-forward, explains things well - NO surprises!! Participation and communication go a long way. Best at explaining quantitative material.

He is a good professor he teaches well. If you are a pretty girl you will do well in his class. One girl in the class got a 67 in the first exam and did not take the final she got an A, I got a 87 on the 1st exam and got a B and took the final-95.

Challenging but fair. He was raised with the English school system so he works with education and grading more or less in the same fashion. Be prepared to work.

the class is a joke i cannot believe that people get such low grades in his class, he teaches you 3 problems all you have to do is replicate them with different numbers, multiple choice quest might be a bit harder but still just read the book. very easy if you can repeat what he did in class ez A

The final was so easy. It was the same problems we had during the semester. I guess he likes to be difficult all semester and then easy for the final.

He is the best professor I have ever had. SO great that I took him twice already. I wish he was teaching all the management classes. Take him, you not only learn but you have fun learning.

Bobb is a very good prof. he knows his stuff and teaches it good. i actally liked his style of teacing and trust me the class was not boring at all and i wouldn't say it hard either. i got a B cuz i didn't study enough to get an A. i recommened u to take him. u won't be disappointed.

Professor Bobb is a very good professor and he knows the materials very well.The exams are basically problems that he solves in class but he changes the numbers.If you do the homework and you do not miss classes you will defenately do well. If you want to ask anything just see him after class

comes across mean at first but hes a cool guy. he definetly knows his stuff and his slides are ON POINT. im serious, dont buy that waste of a time book. when u need to do the hw just get it out of reserve like i did. go over the problems he does in the slides because those are HIS slides and thus the test problems tend to be very similar.

Basically I took most of the classes that he taught. His notes are very clear and to the point. The only way to fail his exams is not studying. Whatever he teaches is on the exam. Although there are case studies and all that. The classes are fair.

best professor, expect a professional environment & no time for slacking off. do the work!

He is a great teacher definitely recommend, he does not waste class time on nonsense, gets right to the point, clear, precise- no ****. Most cases class ends early which is great because he doesnt drag it for the whole hour and 15. Tells you what to study for in exams, team projects are easy if you are partnered with hard working people.

Very easy class...he tells everything that is going to be on the test and gives take-home exams. He is VERY ANAL with the presentation so make sure he tell you exactly what he wants. He will criticize your slides one by one (i.e. if your periods at the end of sentences are inconsistent you will hear it) Easy A but very anal at the same time.

Great class and very good prof. Will be taking more of his classes in the future.

Took him for 3121 last semester. Great prof. easy final. Dont know what the other ppl are beatchin' and whining about. If you study his notes and come to class you will do well.

He's great...come to class and pay attention and you will do well. First test was easy...I messed up on the second, did ok on the final ended up with a B-His class requires a lot of studying b/c he's anal about details....but you get used to it. Definitely take him! No regrets here.

I lost 20 points on a test because I didn't put units. I only got the values for 1 question wrong and still somehow ended up with a 76. I've seriously never come across someone so anal about insignificant details in my life.

great guy. explains everything u will need on the exam. just go to class and listen to him. take notes. he simplifies things to the point that it gets stupid. easy class and easy A. but dont expect to cut class or sleep through it and get an A. I am in the same class but I am not sure how previous poster received grades on Dec 24 when the grades were done on Dec. 29. So I know that person is BS'ing. Bobb is a hard prof. (he is very strict) but a great teacher. I would recommend him anytime.

Ok professor. A little up tight and makes people feel uncomfortable in the class by prooving them wrong all the time. Takes points repetedly for one mostake!!!However, cl;ear explanation and otional final. Ypu can do good in the class if you put in effort.

He is not one of the easiest prof. at baruch, neither is he the hardest. He is very strict and will take points off for the smallest things on the exams...but you will be warned in advance that he will so you can not really make a case against him for it. My advice is study hard and try to get on his good side, he can be very cool outside of class.

He is the world's pickiest man - I have never seen a man that wants things done so perfectly and so 'his way'- will not give full credits for converting a decimal to a fraction! Attendance taken every day, no need to buy the book, two exams (drops lowest), one cumulative final. Study notes and MANY mathematical problems- get your calculators ready

Best professor I've ever had at Baruch. Very clear and straight to the point. Before each exam, he has explains everything you have to study, and if you do it you will get A easily. I got good grade for the midterms so he gave me A without taking final exam. I don't know why people grade him so low. Also, he is very nice and polite. Take him.

Prof Bobb is the type of professor who comes to the class expecting that students have already read the material and he is just there to answer questions and follow up on the important points. If you are lazy expect a low grade. Personally I think his teaching methods are clear.

One word: AWESOME! He's one of the best. Took him for 3 MGT classes and now BPL, Just AMAZING!

1. Easy class, no textbook required. 2. Let students chose the weights of the tests, always pick quantitative and study his examples. 3. Yes, he can be harsh on grading (points off fore units or decimals) but IT WAS SO EASY! People complained about it being hard, I am an average C student, this class gave me an A. EASIEST A EVER

turned out to be really good, he seems really strict and speaks in mono tone. test consist of 6 math problems and 10 multiple choice and 10 true false, the 6 math were identical to questions in slide which was a breeze! other 20 were a joke as well, highly recommened, he is really easy, no studying or book needed, def take him to get this over with

DO not waste money buying the book. Always choose a more quantitative option for the exam, b/c there's more room to score a higher grade. Try to do your best from the very beginning because if you do well on your first two tests, you can forgo the final.

What a boring class. Attendance is mandatory, don't skip the important days where he goes over the quantitative problems because it will be worth 80% on the exam. Do well on the first two exams and he will let you coast the rest of the semester. My semester basically ended April 24th, after the second exam!

Don't waste your money on the textbook. If you do good on first two exams you can opt out of the final. Quantitative questions on exams are identical to all examples he gives in class so make sure not to miss those classes. Permanent seats that you chose 2nd or 3rd class. Final repeats all quant. questions on first two exams plus 1 new topic. EASY

Summer class is a breath, usually 20% Qual and 80% Quant, just make sure you do not do stupid errors. 1 midterm, 1 final and 1 group work with a small 10 minutes presentation and a 5-10 pages paper. Good interesting guy. Strict on policy!

Took this class in the summer and it was easier than an introductory level class at Baruch. He spoon feeds you how to solve the problem, tells you EXACTLY what to study on the exams. No textbook, everything comes from his notes. If you do well on the first two exams, you do not have to take the final. One of the easiest A's ever!!

I took summer and it was the easiest class ever! if you are good at mathematics, don't need to study hard, just memorize few formulas. Prof is very helpful and response quickly via email. Strongly recommended!!!!

Im surprised with all the bad comments. Im sure 810 got bad grade from Bob. He is a tough grader but he is willing to compromise with students. if you do good on the first 2 exams and group project then you don't have to take final. He will let you know of your grade so you can make decision. He is very strict&seems mean but hes one of the best OM

Professor Bobb is one tough professor. I don't know yet what my grade is going to be. I'm currently taking him. But I do know that he's not an easy grader. You really have to work hard for it. Plus, you HAVE TO COME TO CLASS. It's mandatory. He was very strict about the presentations. He really grilled everyone. But if you take him, you'll learn.

I dont know why people here comment him as a tough grader. His test are 80% numerical question which are very easy if u listen to his lecture or study by yourself at home. I rarely pay attention in his class, only takes one hour to review for his two midterms, still end up with an A! No final exam if u get good grade on the first two midterm.

He has this style of teaching were he asks you questions about the material while teaching the material so as to reinforce the point, most likely the once he repeats are the ones that will come up on the exams and you get credits for participation. THREE exams, he drops the lowest grade and you get the choice of taking finals or not.

Great professor. He explains the material very clear. He also explains his expectations very clear. The class requires studying and real participation in the group project, definitely manageable. Perfect to take in the summer. He is fast in providing feedback and grading the exams and always answers e-mails

Very fair and knowledgeable. If you listen to his lectures in class especially the calculation problems, you'll do fine on his exams. The summer semester is very doable within only 4 weeks. A great way to earn 1.5 credits very easily. Make sure you attend all classes as they are mandatory to follow what's going on.

Bobb was an easygoing professor. he's fair with all test material coming from the slides (NO txtbook) and clear, precise outlines. He takes attendance every class so dont skip. also, he drops the lowest test with the option to skip the final if you did good on both tests. make sure you study! (tests are 80-90% numerical; only 10-20% conceptual)

Prof. Bobb is great, he explains his expectations very clearly from the beginning. His lectures are never boring because he engages students in a participation which counts! He also tells what exactly to focus on while studying for the exam. Overall great course. I enjoyed his class and I highly recommend him.

Not a hard class. Pay attention to the problem Professor Bobb discusses in the class, the exam questions are similar to those. Also, read the ppt, then you will be fine. You don't need to take the final if you are satisfied your two midterms grade.

A great professor. He knows his subject and expects his students to bring their A-game to class, so expect to participate by contributing something of value to the lesson. He covers most of the textbook material in his lectures. Group project - give it 100%. Feedback is excellent, can be blunt but always high quality. You will learn!

Prof Bobb is really blunt and intense. He does give good lectures with examples. He is incredibly critical and nit picky about group projects. The tests are not crazy hard, but they can seem like a lot. Always choose 90 quant 10 qual portions! Ended up using an adjusted grading scale to give grades which benefitted everyone. Optional final.

Prof. Bobb is awesome. 4 group case studies (2 - 20 mins, 2 -30 mins), no midterm, no final. Participation is very important.

Professor Bobb seems very tough but he's a fantastic teacher and a really nice person (after class). He has high expectations and will make you work for your grade, but he makes that known from the start. WORST thing you can do is plagiarize. He gives great feedback and gives the opportunity to improve grade by a few points if you didnt do so well.

Great professor , he will not take any excuses. He explains very throughly what he expects from each student from day one and repeats it throughout the course. Slide examples should be practiced they will be on the tests. One presentation which he is very particular about so follow instructions carefully.

The easiest class to pass, no tests, no study, just show up in the class, you will get an A. MUST TAKE. Everything discussed in class has already been taught, it is essentially a review class

If you want to apply concepts you've learned throughout your management courses, be challenged, and given valid feedback that will help you in your career, then take this class. If you're not a team player, take your courses very seriously, and don't think attention to details is important, then maybe this professor isn't for you.

He's someone who you either like or dislike. It's an easy class if you engage in learning, if you're just here for the grade, don't take it. I took all OM classes with him and I respect the way he teaches. There are no tests(which is harder for him) everything is graded on group presentation of case studies, application of what you learned.

One of the best professors at Baruch, he tells you exactly what's going to be on the test, Has a very clear grading criteria. This class is NOT an easy A, but he provides all resources to get. All exams are fair and you won't pass if you are not willing to put in the work. TAKE HIM! (I like his teaching style better than Millhiser's)

Professor Bobb is one of the most straightforward and toughest professors at Baruch. All these people giving bad reviews didn't put effort in the semester. Trust me, if you do your work, you will pass. It is not an easy class, just study and practice the math problems. Follow his instructions and you will be fine!! he is PICKY about presentations!!

Professor Bobb is actually a very well educated professor and knows what he is teaching, probably one of the only professors at Baruch that is very knowledgeable about the course. He is very strict and a tough grader, his classes are very hard but if you study hard enough and stay dedicated to this course, you will get a good grade.

Professor Bobb's classes are tough, but they will make you a better student and professional. There is no homework, only exams, and group presentations. Many student's either do or don't enjoy his teaching style. This is NOT a class you can breeze through but you will come out of it understanding Operations and Supply Chain much much better.

Professor is super straightforward with what he looks for in your work. Literally one of the best profs here for OPM. Attendance is participation. This class is PPT heavy but its not things you don't know, you would be able to learn and feel more comfortable to speak in front of others after this course.

This class set me up for success professionally and for my studies at Baruch. I do presentations throughout the week to both C-Suite and consultants and this class helped me analyze business problems and provide solutions better. Bobb's classes are tough, but his courses are the ones that resemble real business environments. No shortcuts here.

I registered an account just to leave a review for him. This is my first time to leave a comment. The ratings for Prof. Bobb really surprised me. I believe Prof. Bobb worthes five stars! QNT2020 course,two group projects is40%, two exams 40%, homework is 10%, and participation is 10%. I don't understand how someone could fail the course?

Don't let the low rating fool you when it comes to OPM4500. At that point in your degree, you're expected to know your stuff, so yes, he can be tough, but in a way that prepares you for the real world. He'll definitely push you to elevate your standards. That said, he's a very nice guy outside of the classroom and genuinely wants you to succeed.
