This was the best class

Class was easy than others wrote. I did complete the project. Good teacher, always gave time to students whether it was before or after class. Never lost her cool.

If you study hard and do good on your tests she will love you and cut you a break. If you dont work she won't like you. Follow all instructions on projects because shes a stickler.

Her class is so hard but gives you many knowledge. Also, after took her class, it's really helpful when I got into next course of HOSP. She is very nice and awesome. She is much better than other professors in HOSP course

She is one of my favorite teachers!!! Very fair, very easy - I mean you have to do the work - but she is certainly fair about giving ample time to get things completed!!! Would highly reccomend!

I took all HOSP 1001, 1020, and technology with Kosky. She is absolutely the best. Just make sure that you keep up the work in order to not to fall behind. She is very tedtbook based Professor. Many of her test questions are logic.

Very friendly, One-day field trip (Providence Hotel) during the course, Work experience-oriented, Comfortable to talk.. I absolutely recomment this professor for the Front Office Operation Class!

Do your work and you will have no complaints. She is very experienced in the industry and has a lot to teach her students. Highly recommend

She is a GREAT teacher. Has a lot of experience and is very knowledgable! I learned a lot from her. I didn't work very hard at all and i recieved a B+. I plan on taking her for every class she teaches!

She has, like most freshmen hosp advisors, completely lost her mind. She is a good teacher but is kinda lost most of the time and goes on very boring tangents...a lot.

This woman is amazing. She is a wonderful teacher. She explains everything and is always around for those who need extra help. I totally recommend taking her!

Pretty good but easy

About 1 assignment a week, at the most 2. Tests and quizs are sooo easy. All you have to do is study for 10 minutes. A believer in partner quizes and "magical moments" where she gives you five minutes with notes. Knows what she's talking about. Classwork is non-exsistant.. just notes and her talking. Easy A with a bit of effort.

I took her all three tris! She is amazing and really knows her stuff! She does a lot of vocab quizzes but it's only the first one she grades. All the other ones she lets you do in a group or as a study guide and she will give you an A as a "gift". When she does a "Kosky Magically Moments" use it for the essay questions cuz they are more points!

She is a fun and interesting teacher. However she does mean business.

She is absolutely amazing! I took her all three tris and she is pretty much my fave professor at the school. Willing to help you, has a ton of experience, and is an easy grader. You'll learn and get good grades in her class.

took her my first 2 tri's for CLP intro to hosp and front office operatins. shes bitter bc my class is chatty. gives a lot of work and directions are not clear. once you figure it out theyre easy tasks tho. only 2 tests per tri, which are hard but is helpful. lets us out early most days. shes alright i guess.

I really enjoyed her class. The tests and quizzes are really easy. The term project was annoying, and you need to follow the instruction sheet to a tee. She will take off points for little things. But all the other assignments are simple so it is easy to make up points in other places.

Easy work, just waaay too much. Don't take as an elective if you can help it. She is crazy about giving her students work on top of work on top of work.

Nicest professor at JWU

Great professor. Kind of a hard ass but she means well. Is always willing to help when needed. Her assignments are tedious but very easy to do. Overall an awesome entry level professor

The work in this "easy" 1010 class is overwhelming. She saved most of the work for the end. Shes a nice lady, just very condescending. If you dont show up to class you probably wont pass.

She is a great professor! Kosky is very caring and mother-like! You do have to show up to class and study, but she offers several chances for extra credit. The term project is relatively easy, especially since its based 100% on your major! She is perfect for incoming Freshman!

I really liked her classes. She explains things very well and makes sure you know the information. She is always looking for new ways to teach as to make it less lectures. Usually lets class out early. I've taken her 4 times.

Kosky is the sweetest! She is so nice to all of her students. She grades fairly, but you have to put in work. Her midterm and final are pretty tough. If you have the chance to take Kosky, I would at least once in your term. She so nice and she surely knows what she is talking about. Quiz answers come right from the book, so you need it.

She is honestly such a great professor. She knows what she's talking about. Gives real life examples. She also shows lots of slide shows and videos and explains them which is super helpful. Get on her good side by showing up, paying attention, and being respectful and your golden. Bad side good luck.

Professor Kosky only wants the best for her students. While she gives homework and projects, they are there to keep your grade up if you follow the criteria. She is always there to answer questions and respects her students. It is not hard to be on her good side, for she enjoys a fun class; however, you have to be willing to try. If not, good luck.

Professor Kosky is a great professor. She is very patient,friendly and funny. She knows a lot and shares her experiences with us in the class. There are only two tests, 3 or 4 small assignments, a group project and several take-home online quiz. I would definitely take her class again!

Kosky is definitely heavy on projects, but her class was overall enjoyable. I learned a lot and she's a really good teacher. I would definitely take her again. Make sure you have the textbook!

She's a very nice lady. Her classes are quite fun because she has a lot of activities. She gives out a lot of assignments and projects, but her exams are easy. Just do what she asks you to do, participate in class and you'll be fine.

She does give a lot of homework and there is a lot of material shes an easy grader and really understanding problems you might have with your assignments

I loved my experience with Professor Kosky. She will give clarification for as long as you need. Some of her work is a little confusing at first, but she gives you templates with everything spelled out to the point where all you do is delete the question from the doc and just fill in your answer. Super user friendly created by an amazing professor!

one of the most amazing teachers I have ever had at school. shes one of those people who knew I was a slacker but always pushed me and believed in me. She is a generally great women and everyone respects her. Shes always there outside of class and will go out of her way to help a student. Do homework, , go to class, do ur projects and ur fine

She is very knowledgeable about the subject and I liked the setup of the project as it was very hands on and related directly to our career. One thing that was very off-putting to me though is that she is kind of rude and one time I asked for help on my project and she sent back a very sassy email that was very unhelpful. I would recommend her tho.

Very passionate about teaching. Cares a lot about her students succeeding. I recommend her. Just give a tremendous amount of homework, but all directed towards career paths.

Professor Kosky is a great teacher for freshmen students. She does a great job getting her students acclimated to college. She cares about all of her students and wants to see everyone succeed. Sometimes she goes off a little on random things that kinda have no point but she is very thorough on what you need to know. Do your work and you'll do fine

Best professor at JWU. We cover a lot of material but she makes it easy with the way she breaks it all down and clear grading criterial. Really enjoyed her class, learned a lot and utilize her office hours cause she gives good life advise too!

Professor Kosky is an incredibly understanding professor. She is fair and always listens to students needs. Don't forget your homework folder, although she always gives you an extra day to do your homework.

Definitely by far my favorite professor. Kosky knows what she's talking about and makes it pretty hard to fail. As long as you do your work the class is easy to pass. She is also very flexible and accommodates to people needs. She also gives great life advice and will help you with any problem even if it has nothing to do with her class.

kosky is very understanding and patient. she has a lot of experience and can answer most questions. there were times that she acted like she knew certain things and you could tell she was embarrassed when it was wrong, but it was sweet and she's very very smart. i would take her again if i could!

She may seem difficult when shes in class but outside of class she is very nice and genuinely wants to see her students pass. i know i had a problem with her never picking me when i rose my hand but everyone is different. she gives you the next day to hand in homework. her online quizzes are super easy and cheat sheets for tests are a plus.

She was my first Hospitality Professor at the University and she is amazing. She loves to talk to her students and makes a personal connection with as many as she can. She was always available for extra help or even just willing to check in with individuals outside of class time. She also lets you make note sheets for tests!

Professor Kosky is a caring Professor who wants to see her students succeed. As long as you show up, participate, and do your homework, you can easily pass this class. She can be tough on you in class, but she does this to help you reach your full potential. I would highly recommend taking this course.

Kosky is nice and really wants you to pass (literally let us use eveyrthing for our final). She's kinda strict with deadlines but if you're nice she'll work with you. She likes in class group work but the class is pretty basic.

Every student/faculty that I have talked to that knows Prof Kosky have said very good things about her. I could not agree more. She loves throwing her humor at us, but it makes the class enjoyable. There are a lot of group projects and lectures, but if you get your work in on time or need more time, she will accommodate you. If you can, pick Kosky.

Professor Kosky is great, and I appreciate her lectures. She can rip into you if something isn't done to your expectations, but she means well. Overall, I would recommend her, she is a great person.
