This class is a joke. You really do not have to come to class to do well on her tests. She basically just reads the slides from your lecture book. Even if you do mediocre on her tests, she curves them so that you have a higher grade. You don't really have to try in her class. She is nice though and will help you with questions if she can.

She is an amazing professor. She gets this class is hard, and its just a gen. requirement for a lot of people. She teaches so everyone can learn, not just the pre-med or pre-pharm kids (not being biased, I am pre-med). She gives extra credit as a type of grade forgiveness, so you CAN pull a bad grade up. Just bear with her calculation mistakes.

Professor Lovelace is great! Ive had her for 111 & 112. Attendance is mandatory in 111 but not 112. She gives everyone a bonus point when she makes a mistake in lecture & usually lets us out of class early! She really tries to make sure you understand the material and makes herself very available outside of class! I highly recommend her for Chem!

Dr. Lovelace was a great professor for CHEM112. I messaged her before the semester began requesting to take the class online (half was in-person and half was online), and she allowed me to switch my section. Her lectures were great, she cracks jokes here and there, and her tests are the same as the other chem professors.

This is for the students who want to take this class online, do not do it. I personally thought I would be able to keep up with lectures and homework but to no avail. The online lectures are not taught by her, but instead Youtube videos from other professors. Homework was really heavy. I had to withdraw, but she always responded in Groupme to help.

Dr. Lovelace was an amazing teacher. Even though it was strictly an online section, when she found out we were struggling, she went out of her way to do live help sessions 3 nights a week in order to help us succeed. Dr. Lovelace is very knowledgable. Chem112 can be confusing, so going to SI is very helpful. She is very kind and understanding and answers any questions you may have. Only 1 prac. exam before each exam, so I recommend asking your SI to see if they have more prac. materials. Tries her best to explain things in a few ways so everyone understands.
