She is very fair and if you fail her class you need to be in High School or maybe Jr. High. Great teacher.

Mrs. Escobar is a good teacher and was very helpful. I didn't attend class very often and hardly ever turned in homework but managed to pass as long as I gave her excuses. All in all she was a good teacher, she just needs to learn English a little better.

Prof. Escobar is a very good teacher! She knows her stuff and teaches it well. It's very easy to pay attention and learn. She's nice and playful and can be easily approached. The only bad thing is the investment in the textbook which we did not use at all. Not even once! Just buy that little side disk to do the online homework. I def. recommend her

Great teacher,goes over homework, using my math lab, this is a great tool and practice, you can always make a 100 if you do the work. She does care about students,extends homework all the time, unless you are the immature kind that plays with their phone and listens to music with earphones in her class..seriously grow up!

LOVE this lady..she explains the problem as if ur a first grader and i love that. i sucked in math in high school and im making a high A in her class. her spanish accent is a little thick, but u get used to it. take her! there is never a reason to fail or drop her class. i wish she taught College Algebra

Professor Escobar is the friendliest teacher I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She gives an excellent lecture, notes and she will also meet you for tutoring. She will do everything she can to help you. If you fail her class it is your fault.

she's an amazing teacher! she uses my math lab and she tries to go over every type of question you will see on there. she has kind of a thick accent but you can get by.I got an A in her class and i really recomend her.

I love Mrs. E, she is a awesome teacher and she gave me the tools I needed to test out of development classes. I was a student who did not get Math but now I can say that I understand and if you wanted a teacher who will break it down and go far and beyond to help you understand and pass math, she is #1.

She is a wonderful professor. I am going to miss her! She is passionate about math-but stern. Come to class on time, study the textbook, take notes, ask questions, participate & you will succeed in her class; after all it is college-not kindergarten. She was just the push I needed to conquer pre-college level algebra. I wish she taught college algebra!

I took her on-line class, which utilized my mathlab. Being able to work at my own pace was helpful, yet anytime I had a problem or needed help she responded within 24 hours though email and by phone. I never encountered a problem with her accent. I would highly recommend her.

I took her this semester and she was very helpful and willing to work with you until you get the material. Some people critized her because she expects us to do our work, but this is what we have to do anyways!!! I highly recommend her.

Took her for Summer I&II, DMAT 97&98, 100% Online, Self Pace, 25 homework assigments that consist of 8-15 questions you have 3 tries, about 6 tests you have 2 tries, 1 final you have 1 try. 2 Discussion Boards. Videos are helpful. All you need is mymath lab access code. If you are Disciplined, I recommend her online class.

VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING. You just have to email her if you have any problems. She doesn't hunt you down, but she will send reminders if you seem to fall behind. She's a great online teacher. I wish I could take her for 0099...but her classes are full already. :(

Expect a lot of work via MyMathLab, projects, and work via class. And I mean a lot of work. She does try to help her students. Just remember to do your work. Her class can get challenging, but do the work and you should be fine. I wouldn't take her again due to the high demand of work.

I took this class in the May mester. It was all online, including the tests and the final. There is a lot of homework but it helps prepare you for the tests. When I emailed Mrs Escobar she responded within 24-48 hours. I made an A+ in her class.

I liked her. You just need to follow through with assignments and go to class and take notes. She gets mad if you show for class unprepared!!!! Better get your stuff together or don't go!

For an 100% online class it's great. But she takes forever! to email you back. She requires you to fill out a student information sheet before she emails you the course ID and that took 2 days which sucked because I was taking a 4 week flex term class. Besides the fact that she is very very slow to respond to your emails online class is good.

Took prof. Leticia DMAT 98 and 99 and love it. Got A's on both courses. She explains the course really well. When I got stuck, I always go to her office for help. She is one of my favorite profs. Exam is not really hard if you study and go over her review.

To be honest, I thought she would be pretty bad according to these comments. I just finished taking her 1350 class, and I liked it. She does come about 10 minutes late everyday that's because she lives really far. She's great at explaining the math to students. Just don't fall behind, study for her tests thoroughly, and you'll do fine in her class.

The professor was super nice and we got our papers back within 2 days with grades and feedback. She's very sweet but you have to do your work. There is a lot of homework in MML but that isn't too hard to do. Attendance is a MUST because she covers everything that will be on her tests in class. If your constant, you'll have no issues passing.

Self-paced class. Can get frustrating if taken as minimester class. Would take her classes again.

Professor Escobar was very helpful and available to answer questions. The class was 100% online and all of the course work was completed through My Math Lab. There were plenty of practice and example problems in the textbook but she was an email away with any further questions.

I took two classes with her DMAT 317 and MATH 1332. She was great and accommodating. Our class was changed from lecture to online due to the pandemic and we hold online class meetings. I do not like online learning but having the professor there teaching class and answering questions was a plus.

I took her for MATH 1350 and you have to be in class to understand the material as there are lots of activities. She is a good teacher and care for her students, but there is a lot of work to complete in 8 weeks, so do not get behind! I will definitely take her for my other class 1351.

Great professor! Took an online Math class with her and she was outstanding. She is quick to respond to emails and very understanding. Willing to help you out if she sees you putting in effort and really cares about your success! Would recommend professor Escobar to anybody!

She is a good professor because she tries to teach you the same way you should teach your students in the classroom, but I advise you to be prepared for all the hard work and exams in the last week. I got a B+; you need to take this class alone in a semester or 8-week class for better concentration and to keep yourself up with all the homework.

I was afraid to take her die to the reviews. I took her for winmester and Im not good at math, and passed. Most of the grades are graded for you. There are only two exams I had to take. She will help you pass as long as you try. She gives you all of the needed means. She is direct. Short and sweet.
