Do the work and you shall have your wish. He wont say anything if you are late or submitting work late but he will not forget it either. Take his class if you are really interested in poetry and english. he will walk you through but reality is you cannot teach any one how to write but you can help them help themself, he helps. take his class.

prof dimmick is very caring and is cocerned about the progress of his students. I had him for remedal english and again in eng111.If you want to learn,He will go the extra mile to teach. If you take his class seriosly, it can be an ejoyable experence.

I really enjoyed Mr. Dimmick's class. He is an easy going guy but if he gets students who are immature, you will find that he does can lose that temperament real fast. He is always willing to help you whether it's after class or via email. I found that to be refreshing because most days teachers don't want to be bothered.

This professor is really interesting. The papers are easy. No Midterm and Final. No textbook (to save u $$$ he prints all the readings out and makes a packet). Grading is tough but if you understand the material and participate uve got an ez A

By far one of my favorite teachers. The essay topics were all about you, so you can't be wrong. He's really nice!! I highly recommend anyone who has a chance to take him to take him. He allows only 4 absenses and let's the class out early once in a while. TAKE HIM!! you won't regret it! Best part all the assigned papers were only 2 pages.

this man should be teaching more courses because he's the best teacher in csi. if he were teaching every subject, college life would have been so much easier.

Professor Dimmick is excellent at teaching College Writing. He prepared me for the CUNY Assessment Exam, and without his help I doubt I would've known how to improve. He's caring and wants to see you succeed. Take his class serious, he's willing to help you if you're willing to learn. Would take this Professor again.

He is a really good professor. Not an easy A but definitely worth taking. He has a lot of class discussions but if you're a quiet student he's not too picky about that. I wish he would teach eng 151. Don't try missing his class though attendance is very important. Tough grader but you can always email him before the due date and he helps out then.

Good old fashioned professor. However, MAKE SURE YOUR GRAMMER IS ON POINT. He does take points of any error he comes across. Other than that he's open-minded, wants his students to pass and is genuinely passionate about literature.

Dimmick made this class not boring. He is extremely flexible with the syllabus in contrast with other professors. While most professors will stick to his or her plan of action, Dimmick at one point dropped an entire section of the course because he felt we were not interested. Added a personal essay, and poetry, despite the regulations.

Prof Dimmick is one of the smartest in the english department. He grades fairly and provides feedback. You have until your last day to give out the essays so take your time to be precise. He can kind be strict if you use your phone or sleep, but doesn't mind about participation. Also, he has love for rock and rap. No tests. Write well and good luck

Professor Dimmick is incredibly understanding and kind. I was late with a few things here and there but my grade was unaffected. As long as you keep up with the work and show that you are putting the effort, you should be fine.

BEST professor ever!! There are discussion boards every week, and a few papers throughout the semester. Just follow the syllabus and you will do great. He is very caring, understands his students needs, and is very accommodating. Wish I can have him for every class!!

if you can take this professor, do yourself a favor and do it. You basically show up and you pass. He is so kind and EXTREMELY considerate when it comes to any conflicts or whatever you have going on. He is extremely mellow and relaxed and he treats you like a friend. Easily one of the best professor's I had during my first semester. He was able to keep us enagaged in class and cares very much about respecting each other. He makes sure we also have a say in the topics for class to ensure our essay's are something we could enjoy writing as opposed to writing because "we have to". Overall a great guy.

Professor Dimmick changed my life. He is so full of wisdom and so inspiring. He is 100% my favorite professor and I would gladly take another class with him again. His class was the only class I actually got excited to go to. He only gives three essays and does not give much work aside from writing independently in class before the lecture begins.

Had him for ENG151 last semester. You'd regret not wanting to apply for him if you had the chance. Honestly, he's one of the most outstanding professors I've ever had at CSI. He's very inspirational and willing to help you with anything. I only did two research papers for him which were pretty straightforward. Easy A. Also, show up to class.

I had professor Dimmick for ENG 111 and had to say this was one of the most respectful and engaging English teachers I've ever had. His lessons revolve around the student's ideas and always takes the students into consideration. He takes the time to remember every student's name and is very easy to talk to.

Professor Dimmick was the best Professor I have ever had so far in my CSI Journey. You only have 1 Paper(10-12 pages) to write, but He gives you the whole Semester to do it. This was the first time I have ever felt confident in my Writing and instead of me saying I can not write. He actually cares about how you feel and treats you like family.

Very nice. Cares about showing up on time. Laid back personality. I felt bad at one point because he was so nice some students would be disrespectful to him and take him for granted. Very sweet man and personally cares about what he does. If you show you're putting in effort he will reward with a good grade.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!! made my first semester very welcoming/helpful. Very understanding, answered any questions. one personal essay that was due when the semester is over. would have conferences with us during class to make corrections/comments on our progress of our writing. This class brought me out my comfort zone wish i could take it again.

It was a good class, just got a little boring at times but it was pretty easy. Workload was fine.

Nice and good . She extends due dates and gave extra credits . Very less reading and writing compare to other eng 111.

When you actually feel sad that semester is over cuz you don't get to have this prof anymore, YOU KNOW HES GOOD. What a good guy all around EVERY PROFESSOR should be like this man. I can't even stress how caring he is and wants goodness in your life overall. Its an English class so LIKE reading & writing, but if not, take him anyway you'll love it!

Professor Lewis has been an incredible teacher who helped me grow as a writer. Coming into his class, I disliked writing, but now I leave with a love for it. He created a judgment-free space that encouraged open expression and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend his class to anyone looking to improve their writing skills.

My sweetest professor of this semester. Only three essays for the entire course and he's very lenient with grading imo. If you're not satisfied with an essay, there are two make up classes at the end to revise for a higher grade. Very witty and loves conversation in class, even if it derails a lesson or is unrelated. Participate and he'll love you.
