Has a strange temper. I will say though, I believe he uses it to weed out class clown types. He doesn't like it when people try to be funny in class. He lets you use notes on the test! Awesome! I liked him. I learned too.

I have enjoyed him as professor. It's true you do get to use you notes on your test. When it comes to homework he doesn't check it but you should do it anyway for practice to understand the concept. Lastly he has some of the best joke.

One of the best math professors. Great personality, always willing to help, great sense of humor and teacher styling. If you want to learn and succeed, then take him!

He is truly a blessing from God! I've had alot of unclear/unhelpful math teachers until now ! The homework due on the test day is a very good study guide for the test; if you have another math teacher on your schedule change it NOW !

It took me 2 years with other math teachers to pass Intermediate Algebra. I passed with him the first time. He lets you use index cards on all of the tests and the final. Doesn't make u feel bad about asking questions either. Funny guy. Laid back. :)

mad cool, very helpful. He explains all the math very clearly and until you understand it, if not he'll tutor you if you need it. Plus he is always giving out easy extra credit.

He is awsome. He will take the time to work with you and make sure he works with your schedule. He will change test dates according to what is good for the class. He really takes his students opinions into consideration. I just wish he taught more than math so I could take him in other classes.

Graubner is so incrediably helpfull. Self paced math is hard to begin with and graubner does not make the test. Take him in the classroom i heard he lets you have a note card for test. He is an awesome professor.

I think he was an excellent teacher. He explained math with clarity at a level everyone can understand. Definitely worth taking his class. I learned alot. You have to keep up with assignments, but he makes it easy.

i'm not good at algebra and i passed. you just have to force yourself to stay on tract. he let's you use note cards on tests. tasts are mainly word problems of what he has been going over. just focus on what he lectures about in class cuz it will be almost exactly the same thing on the test

Very organized and structured course. Concepts with each successive chapter build on previous chapter. Excellent instruction and very willing to assist. Course is easy if you practice the concepts. If you do not understand the concept be willing to ask and you will get assistance.

Very Monotone, kinda boring, and will put you to sleep, but Graubner is very smat and a very clear professor. He is always willing to help and makes sure everybody understands everything he teaches. Not a lot of homework, Tests are kind of challenging.

Mr. Graubner was an awesome teacher. I suck in math but he explained things really clear and used a lot of real life examples. Graubner wants to help people understand the math, but he doesn't really explain it that much. He shows you how to work it out, but he doesn't spend much time on the process behind that. If you need help he'll help you though, so that's good.

This professor is an excellent teacher for someone who's more english-oriented. The fact that graphs accompany almost every problem that you do really helps the problems make physical sense. This guy is so sweet and caring, he is willing to go out of his way to help anyone. He is one of the most modest people I've ever come across in my life.

Very clear teacher, explains things very well, assigns problems from the book as a study guide for the test, and they account for 30% of the test grade, so if you do those problems, you automatically get a 30%. Then by the time you finish the problems you will know most of the material. I thought he was Easy!

Homework is done through MyMathlab but its graded for compleation. Explains well, gave couple extra credit points to those that stayed when people left early. Replaces lowest test score with final.

He's the best math teacher I've ever had! He's so helpful, and explains things so clearly. It's nice to see someone actually have some passion for math when teaching it. His humor isn't half bad either. I really wish I could take him for statistics. I would recommend him to everyone.

Currently in his class, he's nice but u fall asleep (boring). You take a test, think you did well and surprise (not in a good way). Very textbook on everything, absences not tolerated, and the material is confusing to say the least. Rushes through material and people are afraid to ask questions so everyone is completely lost (sigh).

Professor Graubner is God's gift to Math! I've taken MAC 1105 twice before (received D's) and got a 94 on my first exam in this class. He's SOOO nice and is totally willing to help you out. Take him if you have problems with math, he'll get you through it!!! SWEET MAN!

I could never understand math before but this course was not hard with him. He explains great and makes class interesting. You gain so much knowledge and never wonder why you should know. As far as teaching, he try's to be clear. To me: he moved kinda fast. Very little room for you to make mistakes. your final grade is based on ALL online homework (counted as 1 grade), 4 test, and possibly 2 quizes worth 5pts ea, 2 projects. He long winded and old lol but he's cool.

He is such an great professor! I loved/enjoyed his class. He made math interesting. If you do all the homework & keep up- then this is an easy class. Just pay attention! Great math Professor, I wish I would have taken College Algebra with him. He knows what he's teaching and how to teach/present it. Easy to hear, clear writing, doesn't make confusing mistakes and logical. Class was demanding enough to be interesting, but not overwhelming in any manner. I almost want to change my major to a more math oriented one.

Easy class, tests are easy and notecards are allowed though you don't need them if you pay attention. People are saying he's rude but he's just sarcastic, makes jokes, he's not actually insulting unless you're way to oversensative. Overall one of the best professors ever. Took him for MAC 1105 too.

One of the best professors, even visited me in the hospital prior to classes even starting. I took individualized learning class and he was always in class ready to help. I was able to get through without needing much help but every time I saw someone ask a question they got it answered and understood right away. If you get the chance take this guy

Prof Graubner is the kindest and most considerate professor I have ever had in my 5 year stint in school. He knows exactly what students need to succeed. He goes above and beyond for everyone and is genuine in his attempts. There is a lot of online work, but it's not overwhelming. There are tons of opportunities for points in his class. TAKE HIM!

Professor Graubner is a great, knowledgeable, and dedicated teacher. Take his class! He gives plenty of extra credit problems and you get more extra credit solving problems on the board at the beginning of class. You also can use 3x5 note cards on the exams. Best way to pass MAC 1105 is to take it with an SL present.

I've had my fair share of math professors at VCC. Take Mr. Graubner and you won't be sorry. I've not only learned so much about math in a short summer semester but learned to appreciate math. Graubner is the man! Very good math teacher. Handwriting is important to me and he writes everything on the board CLEARLY to write my notes! Sometimes, can be a little sarcastic or seem mean, but he will help you all the way! Gives extra credit to help you out! Very knowledgeable and clear with his lectures and hand writing. Tests are somewhat easy and allowed a 3x5 of notes for tests. Excessive extra credit, hw is online, and is very helpful. If you pay attention, completely understand each section, and ask for help when you need it, you'll pass. Very nice and quirky, makes math easy! Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this professor. His hw is mymathlab & due the day before the test. If you know how to do the hw, you can ALWAYS pass the test. Never gotten lower than a 90 on the tests and I do the homework a night before its due. He says you should go to class, but it was never counted against me. Very sweet and helpful man. I took this class as an individualized learning course. I did not know this signing up for the course! Thank goodness math is my strongest subject because I would have had a rough time otherwise. The professor was very willing to help the students.

If you have ever struggled with math, this is the prof for you. He is very clear and teaches in steps. He is available to help during his ofc hrs & via email-take advantage of this! I took his math MGF 1106 IT was really good, you earn so many points in easy projects and little quizes. also you get to use one notecard for the test each test which is amazing i love this class a great teacher and always willing to help people out.
