I have never had a teacher as unclear as her. She gets mad if you ask her a question, if you asked her what 2 + 2 is, she wouldn't understand the question. SHe yells at students, and she is a harsh grader. Her lectures are one train wreck after another. BAD PROFESSOR

She kicked me out of her section of senior seminar, the CS capstone course. I think it's because I tried to get her fired when I was a freshman for being entirely unintelligable.

Seems so nice from afar. But she isn't. She's the most evil person in the CS dept. Horrible teacher. Check the Course Catalog and you'll see her classes are almost empty. She's also failed and kicked students out of her class out of spite. But she basically runs the place as no one dares defy her. Can't she just go away? AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

When kids are postponing their graduation so as to avoid taking her, that's a sign to avoid her at all costs. Her c++ projects are a joke. She focuses almost entirely on math, mostly proofs. Her lectures are coma-inducing. She plays favorites and will fail kids she doesn't like. Let's hope she retires soon or else the CS department is done.

Since when does a CS seminar class involve spending most of the class time learning upper level elective math? I thought it was a capstone class, involving research and presentations for your major? Avoid taking this class (or any) with her. She's an awful teacher who should take a lesson (or three) in teaching herself.

Truly, my heart goes out to any one who has to deal with this insufferable woman. Its impossible to understand how a school can allow someone like this to continue teaching. Well not many have written about Cheo for maybe 2-3 years and I do not want anyone to think she has gotten better. She has, if anything, worse. Have this professor for Discrete Structures. I have a high GPA. I'm failing this class. Attendance is mandatory, but you basically will teach yourself. Professor is hard to understand and as someone else said, "doesnt understand that you dont understand her"... I can't imagine many people passing this class to be honest...

Took several classes by this teacher 15 years ago as I was forced. She was also my adviser. She a horrible woman in the classroom and a horrible adviser. She would sign me up for classes I didn't want to take. I would sign off on them and then change them all after. She is the reason I decided to not pursue programming.
