if you have trouble in math, this is your teacher, she can make the subject as clear as glass. YOu have to sign up early for her class though, she will fill up. If you can take her, DO!

Best math teacher I've ever had. The reason I gave her an easiness rating of 5 is because she really does make even the most vague and abstract of concepts crystal clear in a way that students can understand. I give her an A+.

Ms. Holt is great. Very easy class. She makes it so easy to understand & I hate math. The only bad thing is if you know what your doing you may be bored b/c she spends so much time explaining for the slower students. But she's a great teacher! :o)

Mrs. Holt is very nice. She is good at her job and teaches well. If you've taken MAC1105, this course is a piece of cake. Gives extra points on every test. Offers opportunity for extra credit. Answers and questions students have and tries her best to explain it until they understand. I would recommend her.

Great teacher! Crazy, but fun! Teaches in a way that makes you laugh and learn at the same time. Doesn't give too much homework, and drops lowest test grade...

I took this class as a filler not knowing it was the easiest class FCCJ offers. Mrs. Holt is unbearably repetitive and I found this class to be really, really boring. This stuff is elementary and she teaches like we are elementary students (good in a lot of cases). I would have perfered her to challenge us more. Every day missed is -1.5 points.

By far the best experience I've ever had with math. She makes things make sense, and she really wants to help you understand. Attendance counts, but that's because it is important - no math text book adequately substitutes her great explanations! If you already know the material well enough not to go to class, then CLEP it!!

Great teacher - subject matter is pretty easy (even for a non-math person ;-) Class structure is good, review for tests are done with homework examples that are JUST like the test - you know what to expect.

go to class, take notes and do homework assignments and extra credit papers (only if you're not that good in math) and you will not have a problem...test are multiple choice!!!! Can't go wrong in this class. You will get an "A" or "B" if you follow directions!!!!!!

She a great teacer she will help you whenever you need it she uses mymathlab and the homework and quizzes are easy Take Her you will like it it's very simple if you try. attendance is mandatory if you want to pass.

She'll teach you what she needs to. Makes jokes in class, but don't piss her off. Explains everything very well. Homework and quizes online - along with book.

She is wonderful and hilarious!! Don't get on her bad side, she does not tolerate rudeness, that includes any activity on your cell phone. She WILL kick you out. She's awesome, teaches clearly, very understanding, exactly the way a college professor should be.

Math is my worst subject. I had a shaky high school math background so I was nervous coming straight into college algebra. However, she explains everything SO well! I think I even made an A this semester. She uses MyMathLab so all of your homework and quizzes are online, but you can re-do them until you make a 100. Take her if you want to pass.

Mrs. Holt was a great teacher! She made an effort to know everyone's names (and did!) and was quick to respond to email questions. This was an easy class for me. If you have taken any Algebra before, you should pass with an A! She does like you to respect her while teaching... which I appreciate and doesn't tolerate talking, text messaging, etc.

I took her for college algebra last semester. I am very bad at math but I went to class enough and met with her outside of class (which she is VERY willing to do unlike most) and pulled off a good grade! Has been my favorite so far!!

Teacher has been teaching for like 48 years and knows here stuff. Can deliver it to any level of student. Requires class attendance and does not like tardies AT ALL. She does give extra credit and is extremely fair. Can use notes on tests. She's good!

If you've lost all your hopes in math, you'll regain it here. She teaches MAC1105 like its a beginning algebra level. I finally understood how to program TI-84 plus after taking 3 math classes. Take her if you are stuck in college for failing math. Book is seldom used. Save your money for the calculator and mymathlab access. Turn you cell phone off

TAKE HER!!! MyMathLab is used & it almost completely prepares you for the test (if you don't understand how to work a problem it'll show you step-by-step). She isn't a fast-paced teacher & you learn a LOT useful techniques on the calculator that you'll thank her for later. On top of that-she is a very sweet lady & wants you to succeed.

GREAT Teacher! She explains everything Perfectly!!! I loved her! I made a 100 on every test but the last one which I made a 97 on. She doesn't mind answering Any question and will take as much time as needed for you to understand. I would HIGHLY Recommend her! LOVE HER!

Easiest class I've ever taken. I went into this class from a higher math in high school so I already knew the material, but for those that didn't she was very helpful, went at a good pace, and let everybody use their notes on the tests. Easy A as long as you don't forget to do your online homework which gives you unlimited chances to do better. (:

Loved her! She's very clear on what she's teaching and what is going to be on the test! You can use your notes which helps a lot.Homework and quizzes are mandatory and it's all online. I bought the book and didn't open it once. Just go to class and take down all the notes and you should be able to make an A.

Best Professor at FSCJ South Campus!!! Super friendly and will help you out with your studies on her own person time. Great lectures and gives you every importunity to pass with a high grade. Very easy to follow and very fun! I had a blast and it was AWESOME!!!

I loved Prof. Holt! She's a sweet older lady who makes sure all her students are passing. 4 tests (1 is the final exam) fairly easy. 5 quizzes all online & HW also online. She also teaches valuable info about TI-83 calculators!! Take her if you need a College Algebra credit :)
