she was so awesome that I would take microbiology from her, at first she was pretty hard to understand , but she tries to be fair she love to teach and it shows!!! She also really cares about her students

I dreaded taking this class, but by the end of my semester it was my favorite class I have taken. Go to class, do the work, and study what she tells you to study and you will do well. She is very helpful and is very fair. She loves teaching and it definitely shows. She is one of the most helpful professors at Richland!

Prof.Shah is one of my favorite professor.Micro is a difficult subject,but her kindness,motivation and intelligence made the class so enjoyable.Her class was very challenging but she made it feel like we could do it.She made everyone work hard and earn the grade rather than making it easy enough for everyone to get an A. She is very encouraging and always answer question. She always listens to her students when they talk to her. Personally, this added to the zeal I have towards education and made the semester a success. If you study her reviews well there is no reason for you to make atleast a B in her class.

Professor Shah is just plain out amazing. She really understands Microbiology and knows how to make it enjoyable for her students. She gives out excellent reviews that cover 90 % of the test.Purchase the older edition because its basically the same thing. Overall, this class is not easy. Shah is a very nice person and a great teacher but I don't advise taking this class. I learned a lot but felt it was much harder than it needed to be. She will openly tell you not many people get As. I advise taking with a different instructor if you need an A. Otherwise, take this class and study hard and you will learn a lot.

Libya is the best profesor when it comes to Microbiology she is extremly helpful and gives out alot of extra credit!!! Professor Shah is actually a great teacher. She wont just throw you the answers, she wants to make sure you understand the material. As long as you do the reviews, attend class and READ, you will do fine. Shes funny and cute as a button :) i will be taking her for other classes she offers.

Prof. Shah changed my life. I took bio a year ago and dropped the class thinking that I was incapable of succeeding in the class. I re-took it this semester as a final attempt and made an A. She knows how to cater to all learning styles and takes the time to address any questions students have. If you make an effort, she is right there beside you.

Material looked a bit overwhelming in the beginning but I've learned a lot towards the end. I took 2402 with Shah. Go to class and study, you'll be fine. Lecture is very clear as to what she wants you to study. She color codes her power points and gives reviews for lecture and lab. She makes hard concepts easy to understand. I would take her again. Also very nice and has a good sense of humor.

Prof. Shah is very knowledgeable in the subject. She explains everything to people in different ways until we understand. Now, I am very confident about my future, because she inspires me. No second guesses, take her youll be glad you did.

Love Professor Shah. This class was by no means easy, but I got an A. Here's what I did. To prepare for lab practical, copy down everything she writes on the board each day onto each day's lab manual, and memorize lab quiz review. For lecture, make flash cards using sentences and bold letters from the lecture review provided. You must work hard!

In my honest opinion shah is the best professor out there for micro. I am surprised by few of the negative comments here, Of course you cannot skip classes! You need to work hard for your grades. At the end of the day, what matters is what you learn from the course and as one of her students, I can assure anyone that you will be glad you took Shah.

Just pay attention in class and use the resources she gives you. She's willing to help you out and it is not difficult to make good grades if you just use common sense.

I've taken Shah for the first biology and i dont remember her being as tough as she is for A&P2. It may be the course, but i sure did find this class extremely difficult. She makes you work for your grade which is reasonable and don't ask simple questions that you could find yourself. Lecture notes are extremely long and reviews are very detailed.

Very helpful and understanding. English is not her first language, and she admits to that, but takes her time in lectures to make sure everyone follows. Will occasionally wander off subject for a breather, but will quickly return to lecture soon after. Tells you what to know and study for exams practicalsquizzes. Loved her! Highly recommend! (:

Professor Shah is knowledgeable, clear, and personable. .What you see is what you get. She makes the topics easy for anyone to understand, clear with her expectations. If you do what she says, you will make a good grade. She had review sessions for exams. Participation is VERY important so make sure you study the material. She will call on you.

She's a great lady! Very helpful in lab. Labs are short and sweet. Tests are wickedly hard. Gives decent test reviews. Lecture is simply hard and at times boring. Must have prior knowledge to make an A in this class. But don't get me wrong. She's an awesome lady. Love her. Just not the class. Retook the class, different teacher. Now an A student.

I loved taking this class! The attendance for lectures isn't mandatory but you should try to not miss them because she goes over all the information that will be on the tests. Labs are pretty easy -be careful w who's in your group though, it will affect you/r grade. Quizzes and test fairly easy if you read the book as well. Overall great teacher!

Her lectures are fast and she is very helpful. she provides lectures and exam reviews online and gives reviews in class. She is nice, humorous, and will ask critical-thinking questions during lecture to keep students alive. ;) text book is somewhat useful but not needed for during class. print the slideshows and use as note-taking paper.

Everything you need to know comes from her lectures/power points! She's also a student so she's very easy going! Attendance is not mandatory but very helpful when it comes to test or lab practicals!

Biology is one of the subjects I fear the most taking in college but Professor Shah makes the subject very easy to understand. Professor Shah offers extra credit but you have to earn it. Pre-labs are very easy, Lab quizzes are somewhat hard, and exams are directly from lecture/powerpoints (the book may help with additional information). TAKE HER!

Shah is a great teacher. I am taking her right now for Summer I and I don't think she makes Bio 1406 as hard as it seems for just a couple of weeks. She doesn't really give extra credit, she doesn't drop any lowest grades. The one thing I don't like is that she interrupts students when she asks a question and they are answering (Rude).

Taken during Summer, fast paced as summer should be but she allowed for easy comprehension of lecture. Reviews discussion before tests is harsh but does not affect grade. No homework, little book use, tests are based off everything in lecture.

Taking her for A&P2. She is awesome. She covers every thing on her power points, color codes the important stuff. The labs are self paced, and are short and sweet. She is an awesome professor. She gives reviews, and some extra credit. You must study for this class to pass, but she gives you every thing you need to get an A.

Professor Shah definitely knows her stuff and enjoys what she teaches. Her lectures are pretty fast-paced, and her accent can make her a tad difficult to understand at times, which can get in the way when she calls you out in class and asks you a question involving what she just taught. Over-all I'm glad I took her.

She gives A LOT OF of extra credits. Lectures are non-mandatory, but if you don't show up, you won't do well on exams because she stresses what to study for exams during lectures. Her lectures are very easy to understand. Sometimes, she goes off topic, but fun to listen. I've never skipped a class because she her lectures are so fun and useful.

Professor Shah is super nice. She does not care about attendance but in order to do good in this class you need to be present. She will tell you what is on the test. She gives reviews before Lab Practicals, which is VERY helpful. She cares about her students and encourages you not to give up. She will offer extra credit when she sees it necessary.

If you don't study, don't expect to pass. She has a very strong accent, slightly hard to understand, but if you ask to repeat she will! She is super sweet and always willing to help. LOVED labs with her. Give FEW extra credit opportunities. I suggest take them, even if you don't think it is needed. She does provide reviews before test, study them!

She is the best professor I have ever had. I was hesitating with my major and she gave me a life changing advice that made me to change my major for the better. I had so many ways to get to my destination, but she showed me the right one. She is caring and inspirational. She always comes to class with a big smile on her face. Take her!!

I absolutely love this professor. She is so caring and understanding. She is very clear on the instructions and grading deadlines. Professor Shah also sends out reminder emails on when assignments are due and whats due for that week. She responds to emails quickly and if you have an issue, she is always willing to lend a helping hand!

She is a wonderful professor, she gives you an breakdown of what is due for the week. She does let you know that she does not offer extra credit and late assignments however, if anything comes up she is really understanding. I will take her again in a heartbeat.

You should charge your mind that Anatomy is always stressful just because it is how Anatomy is, but Dr.Shah will help make it easier and more understandable. Really recommended you guys to take her. I'm going to keep this short take this teacher I took her for anatomy 1 and I've signed up for anatomy 2 that should tell you something. The class is lightwork and she's helpful, doesn't get better then this. She's the perfect teacher for anatomy.

INET MM 3 wks- and I just want to say . I PASSED. PP slides are long but informative,easy homework, labs, only reason I made a C is because I test bad. Don't procrastinate, actually study- that's my problem I don't study. Take her class, don't take it for granted she's really nice & responsive. She cares about your success and I appreciate that

Lectures exams are easy, gives study guide for them and multiple hints on what's on test. Lab pract is easy too with the slides given, also gives us mock questions in person. Very easy grader for lab pract. Just make sure you stay on top of learning the material the lecture and lab pract can be like a week apart with different units. She's great

She's okay in terms of organization. It felt as though her exams had nothing to do with the PowerPoints and objectives so you basically have to memorize the textbook. It's not impossible but I went through it for this grade. She also uses lockdown with webcam!
