He has a strong asian accent and is pretty serious, but overall he is cool and his tests are exactly like his examples he gives in class. So if you attend class, it won't be that difficult.
The class was simple. Tests were extremely easy. If you remember your Algebra from High School you won't have a problem with this class. His accent is confusing but he wants to make everyone happy.
He has an accent that is hard to understand. He is not very interested in teaching the class. But the class is easy.
He is a great guy with good intentions. He does have a strong accent, but what he teaches is very helpful for the tests. He assigns study questions and they dont have to be turned in. He gives you a study guide before each test- the tests are CAKE! Defenitely easy!
He is a really nice guy. He tells you EXACTLY what will be on the test and even gives you a study guide! He does not care about absences, but bumps your grade up if you are always there!
this class was easy as hell. the only bad thing is his accent. it's hard to understand what he says. other than that, good teacher. he wants everyone to pass his class. he stays after class and helps you, when you need it.
i slept most of the time and he looks like bobby from king of the hill. OVerall tho, it is an extremely easy class. He's REALLY easy on tests so thats a cool thing. But yea, his accent does kinda kill it.
His accent sucks but he makes a lot of jokes and is really helpful. His tests are easy and the way he grades them is even easier- if you suck at math, take this class, once you get over the accent he is a really easy teacher.
This Class is extremly easy. All you have to do is show up to class everyday and you are guaranteed to pass with at least a "C"
This class was super easy but you have to do all the work on your home because he has a difficult time explaining things to people and doesn't teach at all. Most of my classes with him were 5 min. He would say any questions? You know how to do it...read book...okay and he would let us go. If you are not good at math I don't recommend him.
I suck at math, but got an A because I showed up to every class and did the optional homework. He will give extra credit for attendance and homework if you ask. Only 3 tests, a midterm and (cumulative) final. Easy B or C if you try a little; guaranteed A if you show up and do the homework.
Easiest math class I have ever taken. Most of his tests are from the examples given in class. Show up and you are guaranteed to pass!
A very easy class. Just show up and review the notes and you will do good in the class. He gives study guides and you can have note cards during tests.
I took this class in high school and passed it w/ a D-. I admitt that I'm not good w/ math, however this prof. made math so much easier. He never collects HW, but it helps to do it. His class examples are on the quiz and the final is composed of problems from the quizes. He lets you use a notecard. I got an A, but I had to study hard for it.
he means well he really does. but he's just not a good teacher. he skips too many steps and he's hard to follow. i end up scribbling to get it all down and have no clue what just happened. also he's the only teacher who refuses to answer questions and hates it when you show your work!!! weird!!!!!!its easy to memorize for tests. just teach urself
this guy is a frikin idiot man. he sounds like jackie chan. he cant teach for crap. he skips a lot of steps and doesnt explain how and why he does a certain problem or step. ****
Good guy but he lacks teaching skills. When introducing new concepts he doesn't explain it thoroughly. When you ask a question, he tells you to think about it. Sometimes he doesn't even answer it and often times he gets mad. I really don't think he likes explaining himself or answering questions. NOT recommended. Avoid this guy IMO.
whenever you ask a question he just makes you feel stupid. waste of time he once gave us 50 minutes to do one problem then didnt give us the answer to it.
This teacher is ridiculous. He never ever shows up on time to class. Every day he is at least 40 minutes late, and he expects you to wait for him. If you don't wait for him, you will not get participation points (which is worth 20% of your grade). He cant teach for nothing; Better off learning directly from the book. Horrible teacher. AVOID HIM!
What a horrible teacher!! He is seriously late to every class (up to an hour!), but expects everybody to wait for him out in the hall. If you leave, points will be deducted from attendance! Can't understand a single word he says. Tests are long and hard. Had to teach myself everything from the book. Avoid this teacher at all costs!
He is not a teacher but a graduate student. He start the semester asking us how to teach the class. Gave a few simple examples and then left the classroom for almost 40 min. His test were hard and he only want the correct answer. He gave no credit for attendence or homework. The math dept must like him for collecting fees and not passing students.
I took this teacher for summer school and he was not helpful at all. At first he will seem cool but he quickly changed. He always makes other people answer your questions in stead of him doing it and he often makes yor feel stupid. He has little patience so i would not recommend him to anyone.
A terrible professor. I ask him a simple question, and he shrugs and looks at me. In the beginning of the semester, he was somewhat helpful. Now he doesn't give a c*** about anything. His tests are not from the book, and mostly from lecture. Even though in his lectures, he barely teaches. I DO NOT recommend him for any math class.
Completely useless as an teacher. Berates students when asked questions, then complains no one asks questions.
I leave the classroom each day feeling as though another hour and fifteen minutes of my life had been wasted. Only when there was a substitute, did I glean any knowledge from this class. Mr. Zhou does not belong in the classroom.
DO NOT TAKE. Never explains anything. He expects you to know the material already. If you ask a question, he'll say 'ask someone around you'. Or he will say 'you don't know? go home and do it!' He can't even speak english properly. Class only lasts 30 mins. Waste of time. Poor Teacher.
he is a good guy but does not have good tactic to teach students. also he can't speak english fluently. he is rare to answer question, because he let you ask these question to your classmate. anyway, don't take his class except you are asian
He is a terrible professor. He does not explain concepts well at all, and when a question is asked he gives a blank look and says to ask people around you. He does not have a teaching personality, and it is extremely difficult to understand the material because it is not explained well at all. Don't take this class.
After reading previous reviews on here about Mr. Zhao, I was scared. What i as well as my class realized towards the end is he does want you to do well, and he'll only intimidate you if you let him. He does however want kids to participate and will call you out in class unless you ask him not to.
After reading previous reviews on here about Mr. Zhou, I was scared. What i as well as my class realized towards the end is he does want you to do well, and he'll only intimidate you if you let him. He does however want students to participate and will call you out in class unless you ask him not to.
I am terrible at math, and was worried about this class my whole college career. He will offer extra credit, and attendance and HW was 25% of your grade. He wants you to pass and will call you out in class.. I studied my ass off never missed class, did the Extra credit and got a B. This was the hardest B i have ever worked for.
Where do I even begin? Mr. Zhou is the worst teacher I have ever had, and that is saying something as I graduated from clark county school district. He does not speak english very well. when you ask a question he gets mad and throws a fit, but then gets mad when no one asks questions. His tests are a joke, I would avoid him at all costs.
This was without a doubt the worst professor I ever had. I had this guy my first semester of college. The whole class was 3 tests,10 questions each, and he insisted on handwriting them even though nobody could remotely read his writing. He does not explain things well at all If anyone asks a question he basically tells them to **** off. DO NOT TAKE
I was never good at math but took it during summer and it was easy. Funny guy. He picks on you and expects you to know the answer so it makes you want to pay attention in class. The questions on the board are almost the same on tests, he only changes the numbers. Test/quizzes were multiple choice. Homework was easy, got to work on it during class.
He's not very helpful and most of the time he would tell you to ask the people around you for help instead. Quizzes are multiple choice and pretty straightforward,(but once had a question where the right answer was purposely not in the choices). Be sure to study the powerpoints and practice questions in the book are helpful too.
Easy class. His English is not a problem. In fact its pretty decent! Look over your notes... Do the assigned Hw and you will get an A I promise. You don't need to be math genius to ace Statistics! We use a program called "R" to solve most of the problems and you can use it during your quizzes. Should be a breeze! Good luck
Not very clear with his instruction. Mainly just goes through powerpoints during class. 6 quizzes, and hw. Drops lowest quiz. First 3 are pretty easy, the rest require a lot of studying, work with other students for those, because he is not much help in class.
This guy is not much help in class. He is 50/50. One half, if you have a question, he will tell you to ask your peers. So he is not much help. The other half, he is lenient with his grading. The only downside is that he wont give you a mid term grade or any status report on how you are doing, but that, "you are okay." Its hit and miss with him.
Zhou gives good lectures, and seems friendly enough while lecturing. That changes when the practice problems come around. He is almost comically aggressive about in class problems. If you have any questions you better hope the student next to you can help, because he is not very helpful at all. He gets irritated when you bring problems to him.
Easy professor. Just pay attention to his notes, read the powerpoints and do the homework and you'll be fine or he'll pick on you. He lets the class out early half the time. He also lets us choose whether to have certain days off (for example, the wednesday before thanksgiving) which was awesome. 6 quizzes and 5 homework.
He was very flexible and friendly. He used real-life examples to help make his points. The class was a little time consuming but effective in learning stats for bio majors.
I don't know why there are negative comments about this guy!Hes a funny guy & easy going.Read his powerpoints & review the practice problems he does in class and you will get an A.his english is fine and his grading is awesome.Easy A class!
I could not understand this guy and after not taking algebra in years he skipped all the review and expected us to know everything. Hard to understand and pretty rude really.
This semester was my third time taking math 124 and this professor at first would assume that you know every thing and I was worried about passing but if you ask for help or ask for extra credit.. he will give it to you! He wants his students to pass and does care but only if the students put in the effort to pass. I definitely recommend him.
This professor was absolutely awful to say the least. I took calculus in high school and received an A, and I did horrendous in this class. He speaks very poor english, and his tests do not correlate with the homework or example problems. 90% of the grade was on tests so if you can't read his mind it's difficult to do well
He's really not that bad as long as you listen when he lectures (sit at the front!) One good thing about his tests is that they're all multiple choice and its pretty easy to guess answers if you have no clue how to do the problem. Also his tests are kinda like the book problems so make sure to do those.
I found his teaching style very hard to understand, and if you asked a question, he often looked at you like you were an idiot. I did okay in the class but it was frustrating because he didn't seem to teach at all. I often asked for help but he was not very approachable or helpful. I would recommend taking another professor.
He was an excellent teacher. If you show up to class and put in the effort you will do well in his class. He genuinely cares that the students retain the information and offers further assistance even beyond office hours. He provides study guides for the tests. I absolutely recommend him.
He is absolutely hilarious in his own way. But he is a professor who really does care about the students. Trust me I didn't try so Im not doing so hot but he does make sure he gives you good examples. And never sit there staring ask a question he appreciates the participation. Never gets annoyed with questions.
Really not a bad teacher. After the first test he gave my class the option to have multiple choice for test 2 and test 3. He gives you 10% extra credit on each test if you complete the online homework with 100% the day before the test for those sections. He does a lot to help you pass. You really have to study on your own though.
I took Zhou's class Fall'15 and HATED IT! He's funny and really smart. However, when he says "Ask questions please" he really means, "If you ask questions I'll embarrass you and make you feel puny". He's bad at explaining things so if you take this class, be prepared to go to tutoring - but it's hard to keep up at the same time so I need to retake!
Doesn't speak English very well. He doesn't understand questions that students ask him. He doesn't show all of his work when solving equations. Basically expects you to know all material before coming to class, if you ask during class you'll either get ignored, made fun of, or told there's no time etc. Save yourself the headache DON'T TAKE HIM!
Not sure what all the negativity with this guy is about. Clear criteria for the class and exams are just like practice tests.
He's a fine professor... if you're good at math. If you're like me, then you're going to work your butt off and still not do very well. He encourages questions, but he's not great at answering them and tends to embarrass students a lot. He skips over a lot of material because we "know that already." It's not great.
All he would do is show videos and put practice problems on the board. might as well have taken an online math class. When asking for explanation, he would try his best but his accent and English being his 2nd language, it was SO hard to understand. He is a really sweet guy, but if math isn't easy for you, be ready to fail.
If you're good at math then this class is doable but if you struggle then stay away. Does not do a great job at explaining. Never used the book once. Does give out practice exams which were very helpful. But if math is a weakness of yours then avoid.
This is a math class, be prepared to work hard for the grade you want. Do the homework modules for that lesson beforehand, it honestly really helps when you're learning it in class. Yes, English is his 2nd language but it isn't hard to understand him. He gives out practice exams, which HELPS A LOT. If you have questions, just ask him.
I took this class in the summer and I was really dreading it. However, the class was a pleasant surprise and the professor was extremely kind. You just need to go to class and participate, study the day before the exam, and you will do great!
For a harder class I how this professor's nonchalant attitude might turn some people off, but for just Statistics 152, this class was great. He gives lots of practice problems but and short to the point lectures. He curves exam grades, gives questions that are straight from the practice problems. Do all the practice problems and it's an easy A
His teaching style might turn people away, but you have to understand that he believes it's what's best for us. Yes, English isn't his first language, so if you have a difficult time, just ask. He gives out so many opportunities to improve your grade. Exams are multiple-choice and it follows the same format as the study guide, but exams are easier.
Not a hard class but you still need to show up and pay attention. "homework" are just example problems you don't finish in class. Make sure you do every practice problem he assigns as they will help tremendously on the exams. He's very good at helping answer any specific questions you have as well. Whether its by email or in person.
(Summer class) Prof. Zhou was fantastic- he gave very clear and concise lectures and the rest of the time was for doing practice problems. Was available for help when needed. Go to class, do the practice problems (& ask questions), and you'll do great! Wish I could've had him for previous math classes!
Took him over the Summer and boyyy, was I ready for a rough Summer! However it exceeded my expectations and was one of the best classes I've taken. He cares about the students doing well & is very understanding.
Before class read the presentation. Attendance isnt mandatory but show up. Study the powerpoints and chapter homework and you will get an A. Not a hard class if you put the time in.
The homework is exactly like the tests just different numbers. Honestly if you get anything below "B", you didn't put any effort. 5 total noncumulative test; all multiple choice. Take him, your GPA will appreciate it.
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!!! He is hands down the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. He does not take his job or this class seriously. He barley speaks english and tells his students to go home and watch youtube videos on the class materials. And then he gets mad when you come to class and ask questions! He needs to be fired!
Libo is a really great professor. Always available outside of class and is extremely kind. He's pretty funny too. His accent really isn't as thick as some other comments make it out to be. Just pay attention. Videos are helpful but not necessary. Go to the tutor clinic and put in effort. It'll save your life.
Hands down one of the best professors Ive ever had. The class was a flipped class where most of the work was online and exams were in person. Mr. Zhou was very supportive and helped to make the class materials understandable. Dont ditch class, do all the homework, and study hard and youll do great!! Highly recommended!
Mr. Zhou is knowledgable and caring professor. He really does want to see his student succeed, but you have to be willing to put the time and effort in. Not an easy class, but getting a good grade is possible!
He is such a gem. I took math 126 and he was really willing to help as long as you showed up to class and did majority of the homework. He has practice tests that are exactly like the exams and it prepares you for what is on the exams. He is willing to work with you if you have any questions or concerns! Recommend him to anyone taking Math 126!
His accent can be hard to understand at times, but hes really funny and really cares about the students. He doesnt just want every student to pass, he wants them to get an A!
At first, I was afraid to take this class because the professor was somewhat hard to understand but once you sit in a few classes you will be fine. He always made the entire class laugh and is EXTREMELY enthusiastic about his students getting A's. Additionally, tests are easy because he REALLY prepares you. He is always willing to help.
Took him for MATH 124 and passed his class with an A. He gave a lot of extra credit opportunities. If you're good at algebra, you won't have any problem passing his class. He encourages questions and answers to the best of his ability. Its easy to get ahead on his homework. He also gives practice tests leading up to a real test.
I really liked this professor but I don't think he's a good choice for all. If you can't self-study then you will be lost. His "lectures" are insanely short. The rest of the time is practicing problems. This is what I liked though. I'd much rather be doing math than watching someone else do it. Bonus: grades generously and puts EVERYTHING online.
I was expecting this class to be a heavy load onto my schedule since I haven't taken a math class in a couple of years. However, Dr. Libo was a pleasant surprise. If you attend lecture/discussion and look at the practice problems he posts online, I guarantee this class will be a breeze. I would definitely recommend him!!
Schedule arranged to allow more time for difficult chapters later in the semester. Lectures are only 10-20 minutes; the rest of class is time to do the practice problems. The 5 exams (taken in the linked discussion section) were almost identical to the practice problems. Do practice problems, you will do well. Note: you won't feel you learn much.
He's an okay teacher. By okay I mean that he kinda teaches, but mainly reads off of his powerpoints straight from the textbook company. He didn't go by his syllabus, which was okay because it helped our grade. 5 tests, quizzes almost every week in discussion, attendance is mandatory. All of the questions are based off of his practice ones, do them!
Honestly, this is your guy if you want to get through the required statistics course. Practice questions done in class and posted online are representative of what's on the quizzes and tests. For lectures, he summarizes straight from the book, and does examples along with the class. Simple and straightforward class that was not stressful. Nice guy.
Straightforward, no-nonsense kind of guy. Also pretty funny. Hits all the important points in lecture, but doesn't keep you longer than is necessary. Provides practice examples to study from, and doesn't make the subject harder than it has to be. Does take attendance, however.
Worst lecturer of all time. He spends less than 1o minutes going over the lecture slides and expects you to know all the material. Working on the practice tests is the only way to learn. He only curves if he feels like he wants to.
Take him for stats, he is the best option. He may not be the best lecturer, but he makes the exams super easy; they come from your homework problems. You will have to teach yourself, but trust me, this guy is way better than the other stats professors. He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed. Don't be lazy, this is an easy A.
He made STAT 391 very straight forward so we finished early but he stayed the entire class period to answer questions and help us with our homework if you were willing to stay and not leave as soon as we finished the slides. Exams were very fair as long as you put effort in and supplemented lecture with some book work.
Take him!! I took him over summer and he was very straight forward. I'm terrible in math and I passed with an A. He gave review problems daily and used those same problems for the exam and just changes a number/word or two. You get a formula sheet for each exam and he does his best to help you get a good grade.
Love Libo! He is so funny and cares about his students. His class was very relaxed and I didn't feel intimidated. Gives you ex. credit for HW done on time and attendance. Study guides are basically mock exams. It's funny, I was sometimes confused in lecture but was able to piece together patterns in his work. Take him! You can do it!
I've never been an exceptional student at math but this class was super easy. I will say that Dr. Zhou was a bit difficult to understand sometimes, but that wasn't really a problem if you pay close attention to what he is doing. He is very funny and sweet and tries his best to make sure that you pass his class. His reviews mirror the tests!
Only take this professor if you can afford a tutor or you have the ability to teach the material to yourself. He doesn't actually teach, he just shows us examples and has us try it ourselves, then moves on to the next topic without any clear explanations. He expects us to know the material after seeing it once.
Great professor, best math class Ive taken at the university level. His flipped class style is something that should be emulated across all math classes as I feel its what helped me do so well in the class. 10/10 I would recommended taking him. His accent is not thick, and his jokes can be very funny at times
85% of your grade is based on 4 tests, so you actually need to study for this class. Study the practice tests he gives & your past tests, they all build on each other. Math is usually hard for me & that's how I got 90% on the final. Doable, but not the best/easiest class.
Dr. Zhou is a great professor that makes each class fun and interesting. He makes the material as simple as possible, but is willing to explain if asked to do so. He genuinely wants each student to do well, so he gives a lot of extra credit. All you need to do to get an A is show up to class, do the homework on time, and pay attention.
Not only is this class super easy but he makes the content very clear and it also quite funny. Just do the little homework and the reviews and youll be fine for the tests.
Be ready to self study outside of class if you're not strong in math. He's not a good teacher and he mainly plays the videos that you can find in Pearson. However, he gives you a lot of opportunity for extra credit and he genuinely cares about you getting a good grade. Attendance and HW completion is extra credit
Professor Zhou is great if you are decent at math as he goes pretty quickly and primarily plays videos, but he will always accept questions. He speaks broken English so sometimes he may not understand immediately but his accent is not heavy at all. He wants all of his students to pass and gives plenty of opportunities to help your grade.
He makes everyone's life so much easier by making the class extremely straightforward and simple. There's no unnecessary hardness put into the class, like theorems or proofs, that other stats professors love to do. He knows how to chill and tests only on what's needed, making the class a pleasant breeze.
The actual worst professor I have ever had at UNLV. If you do not understand math or cannot afford a personal tutor I would not recommend him. He doesn't teach, he just plays video. Definitely would not recommend if math is not your strong suit.
I haven't been able get through a math class without failing at least a test or two since elementary school... he not only got me through the class but I actually feel confident about math now. He genuinely cares about you attending class because he wants everyone to pass and he goes over ever test example question in class-its worth going anyway
Honestly the most caring teacher I have ever had. Professor Zhou genuinely cares about you getting a good grade and will give you so many opportunities to boost your grade. Just pay attention and try, also study guides are extremely similar to the tests. Take him! :)
Great professor. really wants every student to pass. He will work with you until you definitely understand something. He gives online homework and only 3 tests and a midterm and final. He will not try to trick you into buying an unnecessary textbook, etc. He is genuine and funny and works hard to teach
I would not recommend this professor if you struggle with math. Professor Zhou comes off as very genuine but his teaching style did not work for me and a lot of my peers. He "teaches" by showing youtube videos every class. If you ask him a question on how to solve something you may end up feeling belittled. Choose your math professor wisely!
His class mainly consists of 3-4 YouTube videos per class and work problems. Attendance is a sign-in sheet passed around at the beginning of class. Everything he shows in class is also accessible on Canvas. He makes stupid jokes that everyone will laugh at, guaranteed.
Professor Zhou is honestly a pretty good teacher, especially during these online classes. He does WebEx lectures every week to go over the homework, attendance isn't mandatory, and he is very diligent and actually replies to your emails. The tests, homework, and quizzes are all in a strict schedule so you have to keep up with all the work.
Let's be honest Math is difficult. Put in the time with Libo, and you will be good. Get the highest grade you can before the final, the final is given from the math department. You ain't getting better than a D for the final.
If you dont get it he will help you out and makes sure you get it. I took his class online and he just goes through slides and makes you do practice problems. I felt like I had to learn by myself and learn through him at the same time, but I understood the concept.
Pros - Generous grader. Lots of chances to get homework and quizzes right so 25% of your grade is automatic As. Cons - Big language barrier in email responses. Couldn't review tests to see what I got wrong. Waited until a week before the final to announce the tiny window to take it. Pearson's easy questions for homework turn into gotchas on tests.
Took Dr. Zhou over Summer for statistics. He is very clear on what he wants. If you do the homework and put in the time it will directly correlate with the test ;) Any time I had questions and emailed him he emailed me back very quickly. He doesn't waste time on things that aren't going to be on the test or homework which is nice.
Makes the material very clear, he goes at a good pace and it was one of the first times I actually understood math. Compared to my friends who were in MATH124 with different teachers, it seems Prof. Zhou made the material a lot simpler to learn and he gives a lot of time to do homework.
does NOT teach. in class you "go over the homework". He asks us all out loud if we get it and scrolls through the answers on the board saying "easy yeah? easy yeah?" so no one feels comfortable asking a question. When people do ask questions he SILENTLY does the problem and says "I don't need to talk and explain, math is a language...
His class is pretty easy. As long as you watch the videos, you probably wont even need to attend
I mainly had to self-teach myself every section that was covered over the course of the semester. He would only cover the content for about 5-10 minutes then do practice problems. Doesn't go in depth with how to solve questions though. Since half the class was failing, he gave all of us a second attempt on all the exams, including the final.
He genuinely wants you to succeed so he's a nice guy but he literally does nothing as a teacher. Although my class was in person, all of the homework/tests were done online. If you're not a math person and you're looking for an easy class to fufill your credit, he's your guy.
I haven't taken a math class since 2017 and got an A. He goes through slides at a normal speed and then does countless practice problems on what was just covered. If you didn't pass you just didn't come to class or pay attention. This isn't high school he's not gonna baby you. If you don't get something it's on you to ASK.
Professor Zhou is simply alright, but that may not be enough for a Math professor. During the lectures, he would briskly go through slides, give practice problems with little demonstration. While Zhou is nice and desires people to ask questions, the environment never felt comfortable for asking questions. Expect most learning to come from you.
He was not the best math professor, his lectures would briefly explain the course materials and then he made the class do practice problems. Sometimes he would play videos since he did not seem what to teach it himself. Very easy class to complete and the tests were not that complicated. He does want his students to ask questions and succeeded.
His class is super simply and pretty self explanatory. Professor Zhou is THE best math professor.
He's literally the best math 124 professor
This professor is the goat. Funny teacher. Class is really chill. Show up to class though.
Lectures are straightforward, but Prof. Zhou could use more interactivity. Still, the homework and quizzes provide ample opportunities to learn. Using Unstuck AI alongside the class materials was a big help for me.
He was a really good person and wanted everyone to pass , he curved some tests, gave extra credit, and was very supportive in helping you pass the class. With all this said, if youre a person thats actually is in need of math assistance and wants to learn something I dont recommend taking this class. Our lectures lasted like 20 minutes max.
Hands down the best math professor anyone can have! He didnt make us pay for Pearson! I took it online, and I didnt stress about math at all. I sometimes even forgot I had this class thats how casual it is. He wants everyone to get the highest grade. He extended every single homework assignment and gave multiple tries on all exams. Hes reliable too
He gives extensions and multiple tries on the tests, and the final grade is just based off your tests. he also made it so that whatever grade you got on the final grade, he would replace your lowest scoring test with your final exam grade!! also gave 5 extra credit points for everyone in my class
There are 3 online tests, online homework, and an online final exam. He usually rounds test grades up and has given extra time to do every single test so far. He also gives you more than enough tries to redo the tests to achieve a better grade. This class was simple and easy to follow.
I want to say that he is a great professor. He genuinely wants you to succeed and learn. I'm not the best at math but I went to tutoring and paid for a tutor to help me. Professor Zhou is very knowledgeable and wants you to learn the most from his classes. I would love to take his class again.
