She is a great professor. Her tests come from her notes/worksheets/homework. If you study the material that she gives you, you should be able to make an easy A/B. She gives a big grading curve for the class and gives extra credit. Very fair- if you keep up with the homework and reading, you should do well. Also gives time to those who need hel
Good teacher. recommend to others
Nice teacher, gives you extra credit and a curve. The only problem Ihad with her, was her organizational skills other that that an easy A/B. I will reccommend her to others
She is a good professor, but don't take a compressed class. She sent the notes on the chapters to our emails and tried to help us as mucha s she could but the class was only 6 weeks long so it was a hard class. her test were straight foward. BUT her study guids tended to have rong answers
If you do all she asks of you (homework) and are there, you'll pass without the tests. She gives you review papers for the tests that follow protocol. However, you must realize that this takes work on your part as well. She tries hard to make you understand. I'm proud that I had her. I learned so much. You'll get a good grade if you what's needed.
Shes a good professor. As long as you pay attention to her lectures in class and study, you cant fail her class. For some, she may be confusing at times, but overall, good professor. she does kinda have a weird accent
Took for lab and at times she's a bit unclear but when asked to explain she does. Would recommend this instructor to anyone college. Not extremely easy nor extremely hard. As long as u do the work u'll be fine. The final is a bit challenging but if u have kept up thruout d semester u will do fine.
Very good teacher, but her test are harder then you might think. The key is study study study after all it IS a chemistry class. But she curves the tests sometimes, (that doesn't mean automatic slacking off though :) )
Pretty Good teacher. A little unorganized but overall she is good. Gives a lot of bonus points for the tests and if you do better on the final then one of your chapter tests, the final exam grade replaces that lowest chapter test. Not an easy A, but possible if you study.
She is a really nice teacher, but when i took her for Chem, I had a hard time following because she was unorganized and confusing.
She is ok. I have her now and she teaches straight out the powerpoints. She gives a couple examples on the board which helps. The only problem is that she doesn't tell you what's on the test. It's pretty much everything on the powerpoint that you have to know. I am doing pretty well because I pretty much teach myself.
Took her this last semester. Very fair...can go at warp speed at times, but will slow down if she's made aware of it. True, she does teach from PPT slides, but explains them on the board. Grades are curved slightly and studying (obviously) is required. Def. not an easy 'A', but rewarding. Would take again.
Fair teacher. Lectures are straight from power points, a lot of material to learn so you have to study a lot. Test are okay, she gave us two tests online. Online assignments. Attendance is mandatory.
One of the best teacher. She likes tricky questions but very fair and alot of extra credits. If you don't miss any classes, you will be fine..
If you take her you are your own teacher this teacher is very unorganized she is all over the place .....trust me the class would be much easier if she was prepared for lectures never again will i take her..ughhh it is going to be a rough summer
This professor is very helpful. I am not lyong. Bruh I took chemistry bout twice n i was bout ready to give up and she really made me understand this crap.. I enjoyed this class and soo happy i took her. MInd you i travel all the way from deerfield to hollywood and it was well worth it
very hard never take her in the summer half the class failed only 2 test and And a final she is too smart for her on good
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS RUN!!! THIS WOMAN IS CRAZY! 6 PAGE LAB REPORT EVERY WEEK?!!!
I never took chemistry in high school and I passed with an A, but had to study on average 20 hours per week. Dr. Berbeci was very fair and helpful, but there is only so much she can do. It is a hard class and you can't just attend the lectures and pass. You have to study ALOT. It was a very rewarding class and I would definately recommend her.
Goes by the book and online resource to the period. Tests are pretty good, if you read the chapters and practice the problems. Gettin an A is possible if your willing to work for it! Overall, pretty decent teacher!
I had her for Orgo Lab. this was a VERY hard lab. We wrote 6-10 page lab write-ups EVERY week (except midterm and final) She was helpful, but you had to show interest. I got a 50% on my first write up (most got worse) you have to follow exactly what she tells you on the example. Overall, she is a good professor, and she cares about her students.
Professor Berbeci is really nice and is an OK teacher. She uses slides but goes through them too quickly so it's a bit hard to take notes. Otherwise, she's very helpful and is always willing to help you with work. The reason some may do badly is because they didn't study not because she's not a good teacher.
Pretty Simple, PowerPoint Lectures, She Explains Everything, Tests are Easy If You Go to Class and Pay Attention. Rarely Uses Textbook, but Is Necessary
Great professor. She explained very well. Was lenient with lab reports because we kept having to have a sub.
Great professor for a hard class! You have to study. Very sweet lady, easy to approach, and will not make you feel stupid I would def take her again. 3 test and one drop plus the final. Grading scale is more lenient. Take her!
I would recommend her but be prepared to spend at least 20hrs a week studying. If you have a tight schedule you will not pass. She is very helpful and is available to go over class work during her office hours. I did not have a Chemistry background and passed her class.
I LOVE this professor. I had her for CHM1040. She is an amazing professor. She teaches from her power points and does a lot of practice problems in class. She is spent as much time as you need on something if you dont understand. You have to study ALOT but she makes sure you know the material. I passed with an A. You will not regret taking her
I thought she was an awesome teacher. The labs were interesting to me. A lot of writing and the book is extremely vague but if you do the lab reports and read the book you will be fine. Chemistry is so not my strong suit and I got an A in her class!
Great professor and really cares for her students. she gets annoyed and snappy in lab, but shes extremely helpful during her office hours. I even went to her when i had questions about chemistry lecture and she was more than willing to help, even though i was not her student in lecture. Do really well in the notebooks shes picky when it comes to it
Great Professor!! kind and understanding... Will def take again :) However, you MUST do your assignments and study to do well...(which is what you're suppose to do anyways)
A professor was non existent in the online course I took with prof Berbeci. She barely made announcements and took almost 4 days to answer emails. Overall I taught myself and she only posted grades. I don't recommend taking her class if you want to comprehend the material. I passed her class therefore failing is not an option!
My friend took her class and told me to take her, that i won't regret it and honestly she was right.Im taking her online course and if your able to learn the material by reading then this course is for you.it is not hard at all and she does not try to fail her students she gives u numerous ways to gain extra credit and 2 attempts on quizes.LOVE HER
Very GOOD. She does have an accent so it's very hard to understand what she says at times. Other than that she is really good. She explains well. If you want to pass you must study and do at least one outline for each chapter once chapter is completed. That is how i passed. If you don't do that, then good luck on passing. Bc u wont. Unless u cheat.
LOST WHEN IT COMES TO CHEMISTRY BUT NEEDED THIS CLASS FOR NURSING PROGRAM. TOOK IT IN THE SUMMER ALL ONLINE AND GOT AN "A"!!!
HARDEST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. If you are taking her online that is one thing, but in person she is pretty bad. Doesn't realize she makes a mistake in class, explains concepts only one way and expects everyone to pick up on it. The list goes on. Overall she is a bad teacher. I would NEVER recommend her.
Awesomeee! Just finished today I am glad to say I received an A for Fall term 2012.She's always willing to help and test are fair if you study. I am not great in science and she made me build a new found love for chemistry. Take her!!!
Very hard professor. Moves very quickly. Doesn't thoroughly explain the math problems. Rather unapproachable for help. Homework online doesn't match the work in class, which doesn't match the tests. Definitely won't take a class with her again.
Chemistry is not easy to begin with and studying is a must. This professor gives extra credit assignments to help and overall,if you don't study then you wll fail. Responds quickly to email. Would recommend ! I took her online
This professor is AWESOME! Easy quizzes and exams (Google) gives extra credit, responds back to emails within hours. I could've gotten an A but I was kind of lazy so I got a B. But she's the BEST!
Very helpful and very straight froward!
TOOK ONLINE DURING SUMMER . 16QUIZZES,4EXAMS,8ONLINE ASSIGNMENTS (GOOGLE QUESTIONS) , 8 DISCUSSIONS , 3XTRA CREDIT.EMAIL HER WITH A PROBLEM YOU NEED HELP WITH SHE DOES HELP. YOU HAVE 3 EXTS. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE CHM LAB&THE TUTOR WILL HELP YOU. I GOT AN A :) . YOU CAN DO IT JUST STAY FOCUSED.HAD 2-3 QUIZZ/EXAMS DUE A WEEK &ONLINE ASSIGNMENT.
I had absolutely NO PROBLEM with this professor. She answered my emails, and helped me out with a deadline because I had to travel. This is NOT an easy course, but if you do it online, google helps TREMENDOUSLY. 16 quizzes, 8 discussioin posts, mastering chem online assignments (took long), and 5 exams. the book stinks, so have 2 computers 4 exams
PROF BERBECI IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. SHE'S ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AND THE QUIZZES (2 TRIES EACH) AND DISCUSSIONS ARE PRETTY EASY. THE ASSIGNMENTS ARE A BIT DIFFICULT BUT THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU IF IN THE CHEM LAB. HER EXAMS ARE NOT SO BAD. THEY'RE PASSABLE AND YOU WILL RECEIVE AMPLE TIME TO COMPLETE THEM. I WOULD RECOMMEND.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSOR. I WENT ON HERE AND SAW ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS AND TOOK HER, WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! I HAD TO DROP HER CLASS BECAUSE SHE EXPECTED US TO KNOW WHAT THINGS SHE HASNT TAUGHT YET!!! HER TESTS ARE SUPER HARD. PLEASE DONT TAKE HER CLASS.
Professor Berbeci is awesome. She gives lots of homework and quizes, however she also gives extra credit. She is very helpful with responding to email. I would definitely recommend her for Chemistry. An easy A for boost up your GPA.
It helps if you have previous background in chemistry. I took lecture about 4 semesters ago and when I took this class it helped a lot because lab goes way ahead of the lecture. The class was easy overall. Lab reports are majority of ur grade so try to make a full credit on them. She can be very picky grading the reports. Read the labs ahead.
Her class structure makes up for her dry personality. She assigns online homework for each chapter, that at the end she uses the total grade as a test grade. Easy points. She gives extra credit. If you study just a little and do hw, you can do well.
I took this class online and it was easy. Just ready the material and you will do fine. Quizzes and exams are all done online. The homework was hard and time consuming though but it helps you understand the material.
great teacher, she does give extra credit( so do then, which are seminar and discussions) took a blended class. quizzes are online and to bring your grade up do the assignments and discussions. she is very helpful and goes over the read the next day to a "T"
Dr. Berbeci is amazing for lab. She's so chilled and relaxed. I had her for 1045L as well but it was easier and less work; 1046L she does require more but it isn't so abd when it comes to grades. Now her Mid-terms and finals are kind of hard I must say. We take quizzes every week for the labs we did in class. It's impossible to fail. She's so nice
She is nice. She will help students whenever they need her. Her lectures are very clear. I remember to have just relied on her lecture for my second test and received an A. She will always answer questions. Her quizzes and homework will prepare the students well for the tests. Please don't miss lectures.
The tests are not hard IF YOU STUDY. I had her for also CHM1045L. She is nice and caring and will help you if she sees that you are working hard. I love her! Her Lectures can be boring at times but they are very very CLEAR. She takes her time to teach you and will ask if her students understood. TAKE HER ! P.S. do not miss lecture.
I love Dr. Berbeci!!! She is so nice and caring. She really loves her students. However, the work is tedious but it is not impossible. You must know the labs inside out for mid-terms and finals. If you really study for the test, do well on quizes and lab reports you will pass.
She is an excellent professor who truly enjoys teaching.....I highly recommend her!
She is a very good professor Take her she really knows her stuff and know how to connect with her kids Easy A Study !!
Took her for blended CHM2046. Personality: very nice and answers any question you have. If she doesn't know right away she'll email you within the day. Grades: A lab report every week, however, the criteria is written in the syllabus and provides detailed responses to what you did wrong. Lecture: it was a lab, but she covered what was necessary
DO NOT TAKE HER unless you are already good at chemistry, the reviews are nothing like the test, the homework is different and she takes DAYS to reply to her email
The whole class failed a class so she offered a Retake, but this was the day after the withdrawal date and 5 days in which she did not reply to the student's messages so some people had to withdraw ,also, the fact that she HAD to offer a retake should tell you something about her
She will reply to your messages within 5-7 business days, that's all I'm going to say
Not clear at all
The class was online, so I didn't have much contact with her, but any time I needed help, she was quick to respond. She gave good feedback, and even though there was a lot of homework, I enjoyed the assignments. I used to hate chemistry. She made me love it. She's also always clear about what she's going to test you on, which is important to me
This professor can be very picky with her lab reports. She takes off points because you didn't use complete sentences or forgot a period. This is not a writing class. However, she does try to help you how ever she can. She cares about her students. At time, when you need her in the lab, she disappears.
Had her for blended lab. Literally my only complaint for her class was the company she uses for lab kits are incompetent, but if their mix-up messes with your experiments, she is more than glad to be lenient with you. Very pleasant, expect a lab report once a week, and a quiz. So long as you don't slack, you should get a B or an A.
CHM1045 is a HARD class no matter who you take it with. Berbeci is extremely caring and offers a ton of extra credit. If you're on the cusp of a grade she will boost you. Show her that you're putting in the effort and she will help you out.
Everything was online except for the final. Easy A but didnt do good on final so I end up with a B in the class. We had like 13 quiz in total once a week (google) Mastering Chem lab due every 2 weeks (best if you work with somebody also on google) and 5 exam all online except the 5th exam which is the final thats in class.
She is beyond great I highly recommend. Three exams, one final, extra credit for perfect attendance. Helps out your grade a whole lot!
The subject is difficult all around, this professor gives so many opportunities and extra credits so you don't fail, three test one final, homework plus perfect attendance is extra credit. Willing to help you if you are having trouble. You have to work for the grade.
I loved her class. She's not a tough grader and explains well. I was able to connect what I learned in chem 1 with chem 2. Her lab is blended and fun. She lets you come in to perform at home labs and gives you a week to write the lab report. For lecture lots of extra credit, only 3 tests plus the final, and mastering chem.
Come to labs on time. Quizzes are given every morning and count towards 20% of your grades. Perform every labs the best you can. And make sure your lab reports are detailed if you want to get a high score on them. Last two labs were pertaining to organic chemistry. Last labs act as an extra credit to boost up your overall grade. Great professor !
Prof. Berbeci is great! She will help you pass if you put in the work. Practice all the questions in the book and make sure to read all of the theories because they're always on the exams. Do well on the HW! It really boosts your grade! She gives many extra credit opportunities as well. Take her, you won't regret it.
Dr. Berbeci is a great professor, her lectures are clear and to the point, I advise taking notes as some questions on her exams do come from it. DO ALL her exam reviews and take and review notes & you'll be fine. She gives A LOT of extra credit opportunities. Coming in as a transient student, I found her lectures a lot more engaging!
I took her for Chemistry lab, she was clear and extremely informative. I only wish that I could have taken her for lecture.
Her class was not that bad. Just need to pay attention, take notes and if you really want to pass, do her reviews and go to her office hours and she will see you really need the help. She's very helpful, and gives extra credit. Make sure you do the mastering, its like a test grade. But won't take again
I really enjoyed and respect this teacher as a person, she truly cares about each person's grade and wants the best for you. The only issue is her lectures are fast and tests are hard. She changed her teaching style to better fit the class, which helped everyone to pass, but she did it too late in the semester that we only had two tests.
Best chm lab teacher! She explained each lab in detail in the beginning of class and answered all questions pertaining to the lab when asked. She is sweet and is fair with her grades. Her grade book is always up to date. Just come to class, turn in your lab reports and its an easy A
Always gives handouts for you to practice on in class. Sometimes the answers to them are not correct so double check with ASC tutor or her. She has office hours and helps you understand. Teaches from powerpoint. EC: 1pt going to ASC by yourself, 3pts group study at ASC, 5pts for lectures/panels by guest speakers, Plickers, & Mastering Chemistry.
There's a quiz (6 Q's) before class on the lab you're gonna do, very easy. She has office hours and is very helpful to make you understand how to collect data and explains why you lost points in a lab report explicitly. She is excellent and helped me out with the final lab when my unknowns weren't dissolving. Sometimes intro & conclusion excluded.
In continution from my last post, she notices everyone is lost and confused and doesn't do anything about it. When everyone failed the first two quizzes except 2 people she just showed us a video that was suppose to be motivational which wasn't I can go on and on but please do not take this woman. TAKE HER FOR LAB EASY A !!! LAB IS YOUR BEST OPTION
Sometimes she isnt clear when explaining things and with chemistry if you dont get something everything else will be confusing. She would be a good choice to pick as a professor but just make sure you take good notes before class and study every night making sure you understand what was taught during lecture that day.
Follow her syllabus and you should be good for the class. Quiz before every lab but on the information for that chapter which isn't that long. She'll definitely work with you.
Dr. Berbeci makes clear what you must do in a given lab and how to be successful. Her rubric for writing lab reports is very straight forward and not difficult to follow. She grades directly from the rubric, so following it is crucial. If she deducts points from your report, she gives good feedback on how to improve. She is quite blunt at times.
Heavy lectures off of powerpoint and doesn't explain steps throughly to most of the problems. She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit.
She takes time to explain the work needed to be done for the labs. Quizzes are done before labs and are easy. The most difficult lab was 7 with the diagram of the macromolecules. My class had yet to cover it so I skipped it, but made up for lost points with a 90 in the final lab and still got an A. Ask her to check your work before leaving lab!!
Prof Berbeci is a solid choice for a chemistry professor. You do have to put in the work to pass the class. Her lectures are fast paced but she will slow down if she sees that most of the class is lost. There is a lot of opportunities for extra credit. I recommend her because you will for sure learn chemistry in this class
Head-Up with this professor is one of the most comprehend professors that I have is very caring about the student and makes the impossible to improve your grades. But give up a lot of HomeWork, Pearson, Simulations and also 4 Tests and one Final. I recommend her, but be prepared to work
Amazing professor! I learned a lot and she offers a lot of extra credit. Chemistry isn't an easy subject, but I enjoyed the way this class was constructed. She is there to help you when you need it!
Whats the point of this "professor" getting paid if all she does is make the students read at home and teach themselves, then when we go to class she just goes over a small portion of the chapters. This is a scam. She knows the class is confused and keeps going at top speed.
Dr. Berbeci is a very smart professor, but not the greatest teacher. She would expect us to know questions we weren't taught yet and became impatient when we didn't answer her within 1 minute. We had weekly homework in Aleks and 8 in-class discussions on an article. She did give us help if we asked and was readily available outside of class.
Just by doing the assignments, you can pass. She also gives extra credit opportunites.
Shes a good teacher, she takes time to explain. In class everything is easy but if you dont study even tho she doesnt say that youre not gonna pass the exam. Always try to study the important words. Her exams are choose the correct answer and some problems, so not much study. But if you want A-B you have to study too
She actually taught and was very communicative
Dr. Berbeci was an amazing professor. The workload is a lot because of the class, but she makes things easy to understand, helps you if you need any kind of help, and cares for her students. As said the work load might feel like a bit much, but if you stay on top of things and reach out for help if needed this class is easy to pass.
Take Professor Berbeci she has made Chem easy to understand!! She cares about her students and is willing to help if you put in the effort. She offers plenty of extra credit opportunities. She was my first ever in person class and I highly recommend taking her class!!
Good Professor, Lectures very fast, would suggest sitting in the front. Her teaching style is very fast pace so TAKE NOTES of everything they matter. At first i didn't like her teaching style but when i started going to her office hours she takes her time to explain. If you dont understand something ask questions, she will move on if you don't.
Professor Berbeci is amazing. Her online classes are all in Knewton. You have a quiz after each unit, 4 exams (2 proctored), 2 discussions, and 2 assignments. Easy to contact, fair grader. Highly recommend!
Best professor ever. Take professor Lidia you won't regret it.
Professor Berbeci was honestly one of the best professors I've ever had. Chemistry is not an easy subject but she really tries her best to create a great sense of understanding. Be sure to pay attention during her lectures & ask questions if there's something you don't understand. Extremely helpful & caring!! You won't regret taking her class.
I actually enjoyed taking this class with this professor. The tests won't be hard if you study the material. The lab assignments were easy to do, and the professor always gave great feedback
Had her for lecture/lab. She's ok. Lots of practice questions n she could go over ppt fast somtime, so be ready and catch up. It 50/50 studying on class n at home for me to rlly get good grade. Hw weekly on Pearson, not difficult but takes time. 4 tests in total, wasnt too hard but YOU'VE TO GET 99% OF MATERIALS to make it thru. I'd take her again.
Her lecture was lowkey fast-pace, lots of materials n hw. But doable if you really spend time. Easy to communicate after class. 4 tests in total, not too difficult you have to understand 99% of material to make it thru. It was 50/50 studying in class n at home for me to get that A. I'd recommend her if you willin to spend time after class to study.
Great professor. She helped a lot in office hours, which saved me a lot in exams.
Take this class. Her assignments are straightforward and allow you to learn. I usually take around 2 hours per week doing the assignments and quizzes. There are 5 exams and 3 are open note. I would take her class again if I had to. Awesome teacher. Highly recommend.
She is very kind and ready to explain when I don't understand.
Professor Berbeci is great! Her lectures were very interesting and educational. All homework was done online in Person. We had 4 tests during the semester. All the tests were based on what the professor told us in class. There were many opportunities to get extra credit. Overall, the class was very enjoyable fell in love with chemistry after it.
This professor truly cares about her students. Organic chemistry is a challenging class so get ready to study, participate and take advantage of using the ASC center. Professor Berbeci truly knows her material and how to teach CHM1032 for her students to understand. You have to put in time for the class if you want to pass. Great professor!
There were 5 exams and 3 of them were open note. No more than an hour worth of assignments a week which includes a quiz. Only the exams are proctored. SHE NEVER ANSWERS EMAILS so make sure you can teach yourself and make sure you get work done ahead of time because once again she will not answer emails and won't reopen anything.
A great teacher very insightful open to questions and discussion and is very helpful if you show you and care and try in class I 100% recommend a great teacher and person overall
Great professor. recommend for a good and easy chemistry class
She sets clear expectations of what the class will be in the syllabus. Stay on top of the work and read the sections to pass the quizzes as they will be a big part of your final grade. Overall good class. You could get her during office hours on zoom if you needed her. Would recommend her and take her again.
Very good teaching skills, just make sure you pay attention!
i was kinda nervy at first taking her bc she can be a bit strict, but she loosens up and is a good professor. her lectures are fast which i didn't like but at the end of the day go to the asc center and study and you're all set. she drops your lowest grade, gives extra credit, & gives study guides for exams. i'm gonna miss her. i def recommend!!!
Professor Berbeci was genuinely such good professor. She might come off as a little bit strict at first, but you can tell she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to pass (she offers EC). The course itself was challenging, but as long as you show up to class and do the work you will be fine. There were 4 units tests and 1 final exam.
I took this class last year in the Spring semester, my bad I forgot to rate. She's a good professor, she'll engrave all the work you'll learn in your brain but also won't care if you're failing. Randomly asks a question in front of the whole class, so try to review a little before class! Teaches at lightning speed so it was hard to ask questions.
took her for lecture and lab. lecture is content heavy & class moves quick. study outside of class, expects you to know things well once she teaches them. final was all mcq, tests were mostly mcq. plickers for extra credit. participation isn't graded but def helps your understanding. she'll assume you understand and move on if you dont ask.
Out of all the science professors I've had Dr Berbeci has been the best one so far and I'm a Stem student so I've had my fair share of science professors. I definitely recommend she gives extra credit and is very understanding but don't take her kindness for weakness. I took her for lab also and I would recommend you do so also.
Dr. Berbeci is an amazing professor. She cares for her students and teaches the material well.
I took her because of the reviews for Gen. Chem in fall 2024. She has a terrible attitude towards students that she deems 'unworthy' of being her her class that has no prereqs. She won't explain complicated subjects, will berate you if you ask too many questions, and when my entire class failed an exam, she thought it was funny. Don't do it.
You will be ahead of your lecture in this lab and she will not care. She doesn't take extra time to explain formulas, equations, and concepts. You will be doing homework and writing papers with absolutely no idea what is going on, and those papers will be due before your lecture ever touches on those concepts. Don't take her, if you have to..
Dr Berbeci is an amazing professor. 43% of your grade is HW, while 32% is exams. Honestly, if you are scoring 90s-80s on your HWs, you are more than likely to pass. Lectures are pretty heavy. ASK QUESTIONS, she never made me feel stupid when I would ask. Plickers extra credit. Overall, very easy if you practice out of class and do the homework
A good professor and explains things perfectly, the problem is since it's chem it's sometimes difficult to grasp. I lived in the asc center throughout the semester.make sure to actually look at the study guides as the exams are similar, as long as you understand the study guides then you can't fail the exam. Beware, she does teach fast in class
If you want to learn, take her. Ask questions!! She will gladly answer them. Tests were hard but if you're taking this class you have to study.
U will regret it if u don't take this professor. I took CHM1032 2-times b4 taking her & I failed both times, but with her I passed the class Do all of your homework don't be late on assignments. even if you have u google the answers it helps Do all of your quizzes & extra credit if you'll pass Even if you fail all exam except 1 you will still pass.
4 exams,11 quizzes including the syllabus quiz (U need to get 100 on all quizzes) 2 discussions, 9 homework assignments.(use ChatGPT BE SURE to get a 90 or better homework) she gives extra credit on ASC, the Plicker, & a random college activity. do all of the homework, quizzes & all of the extra credit get a very good grade on 2 exams U WILL PASS!
An easy A! As long as you complete all the assignments and discussion posts, you should be able to pass the class regardless if you fail the exams. The tests are not weighed as much in your final grade, so I recommend if you're not a good test taker.
In person class felt like online class because you had to teach yourself. Teacher is no help. Whole class stressed and felt sick about exams because too much information to memorize and she does not provide study guide. Lectures are very confusing, unorganized and way too fast. A teacher should want every student to succeed.
Do not take this class. Only one person has an A and everyone else is failing. Material is difficult and teacher does not teach or care if you fail. There are 4 exams and she does not curve.
Professor Berbeci is amazing! She was recommended by a friend and I do not regret taking her class at all. She is very patient and does not move on to the next concept unless the whole class is up to speed. She is considerate about our grades and provides plenty of extra credit, but they are normally questions about content we reviewed that day.
Very easy online class. 2 discussion posts, 2 assignments, 14 chapters in total (Knewton) each chapter has a quiz at the end. 5 test total. She does answer emails promptly.
