Excellent Teacher! Very understanding, interesting, and captivates her audiance with various visual aides. She likes us to get involved, lots of games and EC % points attached. Take notes off her slides, match it to the words on the study guide and you will pretty much get an A on tests. You learn alot and have alot of fun! Time flies in this class

Pham is pretty much just the generic teacher - teaches well, friendly, gets students involved. The class is REALLY easy and very interesting. I got an A just by making flash cards. Basically the tests are all about memorizing vocab. This class isn't boring at all, it's fun and intriguing.

Try to go to every class because there are 4 random in-class assignments and 1 random one is graded and it's worth a quiz grade so yeah hurts your grade if you missed it.

The class is easy and doesn't require much effort. It is really just a vocabulary class. Three exams including a cumulative final. They come with vocab study guides. Overall not very interesting because everything is so general. Just a lot of memorization for exams.

The subject matter of the class itself is not nearly as cool as the description in the catalog, but it's an easy A for sure. She's a nice lady and will always help you out. The tests are super easy and there is one essay that she gives you about a month to complete. She gives lots of extra credit opportunities!

Psychology with Prof. Pham is one of those classes that you add to balance out the harder ones in your schedule. Not much is required outside of class to get an A. All you need to do is take notes on the PP and study terms/facts 1-2 days before exams. Attendance is important because after 3 absences you begin to lose points. Extra credit available.

Took other Psych classes before with other teachers and failed or withdrew because they were boring. But then I took this teacher and became extremely interested in the stuff she teached, what with all the experiments she showed us on all the videos we watched during class. very very very easy. You do not need the textbook, almost all the information you need from the test will be in your notes. The school library has her book that you can loan for up to two hours. I spend 30 min total the whole semester looking at the book and I got an A. Don't buy/rent the book.

I found the class to be both easy and informative. 95% of the tests are based on the in class notes. There is some group work, especially in the Honors class. For the honors portion you will do a group experiment and a research paper that is fairly easy. Other than being a little boring at times, I have no complaints with this instructor.

Pham definitely made psychology one of my favorite classes. She keeps the energy level up, and does a good job at blending together video and well-made powerpoints. The in-class assignments can be a bit of a drag, but they're short, and doable. Just make sure you TAKE ALL THE NOTES DOWN and you'll be fine. I don't even use my book and I have a "B".

This was my first semester at OCC, but I have to say this was one of my favorite professors. Had great PowerPoints blended with videos that applied to the subject. I didn't open my textbook the whole semester, cause you can get away with just taking notes. GREAT PROFESSOR FOR FRESHMAN. She also offers extra credit opportunities. :D

Intelligent, engaging lectures with lots of videos and participation to help you remember. She makes it interesting and fun, so much so that it seems very easy in spite of the large volume of information being learned. Mandatory attendance and good note taking is essential. Recommended.

STUDY GUIDES!!! Her class is brilliantly structured so that if you come to every class, the notes are what will be tested. The group project and paper are thoroughly explained, but the study guides are the key to success!

Social Psychology was very easy. I was able to get an A with relative ease. The only thing you need to be aware of is to always attend class (much classwork points, but nothing difficult) and study for tests (which are easy compared to other classes). She's really calm and easy. Maximize your chance of getting an A by taking her class!

Literally the easiest A I've gotten at OCC. Don't bother buying the book, all of her tests are based on notes. Attendance is semi-necessary, you get docked a couple of points for being absent after your third absence although it shouldnt effect your grade much if you get A's on the test.

Her intro class is super easy, she explains everything extremely well. Psychology is my major and I still recall her examples in my upper division classes. Even if psych is not your major this will be an easy class to get credits.

She is so relaxed and calm cool and collected. Easy A, even if you don't care about the class, it will be interesting and have your attention. all the topics that are import to college students are actually discussed, as a psychologist she chose them well. It was one of the most easiest classes I've taken and I got a B+ in her class without using the book or studying. A lot of her tests are multiple choice that are created by other students in the class. I hardly used the book. Her lectures itself explains everything in the book but in a more easier way.

Dr. Pham's class consists 2 exams, 1 experiment, journal assignment, presentation, 7-12 page paper, and mandatory attendance. Make sure to ask her questions if you're confused. Definitely an easy class. She just gives lectures/powerpoints. All you have to do is take notes. The exams are really easy and are solely based on her lectures/powerpoints. She also gives you a very detailed study guide before each exam. No homework. Basically no classwork.

Overall class is really easy. She gives a study guide before the exam that basically is the exam. The only difference between the honors class and her other class is that you have to design an experiment and write an essay about it. The essay is worth 25 points, but you have the option to do an extra credit project worth 20 points.

No homework, all you do is write down/type her power points and everything on there is on her exams. There is class assignments but super easy you do them in groups, easy A... Would recommend taking her she is very nice and clear with her power points. Don't get textbook, didn't use it one time love her laugh to she's always happy

Excellent prof. Lectures are clear and you can tell she spent lots of time planning for students. She's also helpful if you have questions. She won't feed you the answer, but she's super helpful. I'd take her class again.

Professor Pham was an amazing teacher. Her lectures keep you engaged and you learn a lot. The textbook is not needed but helps, the exams are based on the lectures so attendance matters. She gives extra credit and the exam covers everything on the study guide. The class was fun and interesting and I looked forward to class.

Started off with her in class but had to drop due to surgery, retook it online and loved it much more. Easy pacing and grading. Lectures come out during the week and then it's one easy assignment due. One paper due at the end but it's super simple.

For an honors class, this was a BREEZE! Pretty much 3 tests and one essay. Study the study guides and you will get an A. The class is not hard at all. Very EASY. She's so cute and offers a lot of extra credit. Just do the work, take notes, and study. Get those honor units with an A!

Amazing professor who knows what she's talking about. Great lectures with interesting films now and then. 3 exams; final being cumulative; straight from her PowerPoint slides. Easy writing assignments to finish in groups. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Don't buy textbook, take good notes and study them, and I guarantee you'll pass with an A.

Very easy class & flexible professor. There are only 3 exams the entire semester;one being the final exam. Show up to class, take good notes, do the in class assignments and you will do great. She even gives those who missed an exam or in-class assignment a day to make up anything missed. Highly recommend taking her course.

Great class. Lectures are informative and to the point (she doesn't ever veer off). Almost everyday at the end of class she gives mini group assignments that you turn in before leaving. No homework. She has a review before every test (3 total), which helps so much. And there's extra credit! Just pay attention and study and you're good!

Easy A. 3 tests that are directly from study guide. Biggest thing is take notes or at least snap pics of the slides bc the tests and study guides are created directly from them. Really easy A (especially for an Honors class) as long as you pay attention, take notes and study! Tests are lecture based but it's helpful to read the textbook too. Her powerpoints were really simple and clear. She seems like she knows the material well, and she's super nice and professional!

Dr. Pham is probably one of my favorite professors at OCC. Her grading system is straight forward, you don't even have to purchase a textbook if you don't want to because the contents of all her tests are in her lectures. Attendance is "mandatory," but I still missed a couple of classes and got a B for participation. Good notes are key!

There aren't copies of the power point online, so coming to class to take notes is recommended. The class is an introduction to psychology course so the information is very basic and makes for an easy semester.

All the tests have a study guide that covers exactly what is on the test. We do a group research project but if you chose wisely it is easy to complete. She is organized and has great knowledge and lectures. Would recommend.

Dr. Pham's psych class is very easy, all you have to do is show up, take notes. I recommend print out the 3 study guide ahead of time and cross off the terms on the study guide when she's going over it during lectures, really helped me on my second test (94%). Really fun environment with the psych experiment she gives.!

You need to take this class! Great lectures! Follow the study guide. Textbook is online for free, she will tell you that on the first day of class and have the link to the book pdf on her course page. It is almost impossible to get extra credit unless you are sitting in the first few rows (you must race to her desk w the answer first)

If you've taken psychology before in high school, then this class will be a breeze. Yes, take notes on key terms and study, but it's more about common sense when it comes to the tests and multiple choice. She gives a paper to review all the key terms before an exam and it helps a lot. I used quizlet to study definitions and that's how I passed.

Professor Pham gets it. She understands how students learn so she finds ways to keep us engaged through experiments and making students compete for extra credit points. She offers a lot of very easy extra credit opportunities. There is no HW and she reviews everything that will be on the test. Hey creative approach to teaching is very effective.

Her lectures are your only source of notes so please go to the lecture or ask a friend for notes. Her class is relatively easy but there are many terms to remember. Making flashcards and looking at the study guides will help for sure.

This class is an easy A! Lots of extra credit opportunities so its nearly impossible to be failing this class. Lots of group assignments but it was easy & short. She will give you a study guide for each exam which will help you a lot on the exam! Take this class with Lien, you wont regret it!

Easiest A you will ever get!! Take this class, especially in Honors. Her teaching style is kind of boring but it's all based of definitions. The tests were super easy and theres an extra credit Psych film project that helps your grade. She is a super sweet professor and her class is super mellow

Online Social Psychology was super easy and interesting because of her! Since it was online, I don't know much about her personality, but she kept the class organized. She gives many opportunities for extra credit, and she grades pretty easy! Study for the exams and do the work on time and you should pass with flying colors. (Free onlin textbook!!)

Dr. Phams psych class is nearly impossible to fail. Your only requirement is that you show up to class and take notes. Her study guides are always available and if she still have questions, shes always available for help. The exams are straight forward and theres no homework at all except the in class assignments. You wont need a textbook.

There are three exams, in-class writing assignment, and participation. The three exams are multiple choice.

Psych was an easy class. As long as you show up most classes, you will get full participation credit. The class is based solely on tests and a couple easy assignments (worth a lot of points, but graded easily). Extra credit is only given a couple of times but helps your grade a lot.

just pay attention in class and note whatever you find confusing to look up later and youre good for the tests! (gonna be honest, I knew a good bit about psychology going in so it may be a bit more work for you)

SUPER EASY specially if you have taken any prior high school psychology class. She assigns like 3-5 review questions after lecture which you can do w/ partners. 3 exams that are easy if you review and have a basic understanding of the terms! Do the 20 pt film project! She allows you to do missing assignments.

She is the best. There are only 3 tests, 1 written assignment, attendance points, and extra credit is given. I recommend printing out all of the study guides and following them through the lectures so you only write down what you need to know for the tests. The written assignments are open note and she chooses one to be worth 70 points!

Easiest A ever, take her for your GE requirements. Do the extra credit film project, it helps so much.

Her class is very straightforward. You will learn a lot, but everything is easily manageable if you take notes. She gives study guides before the class that includes every vocab word that will be on the test.

Pham is really great and this online class is easy. there's a handful of small online assignments, 2 online tests, and 1 paper. she's available in person if you need and is very helpful via email. extra credit is offered as well. the paper guidelines are easy to follow. she gives you a link to download the book for free and posts chapter outlines

I enjoyed her lectures and she makes an effort to be there for her students. Her class was hard but if you stay on track with the reading then you're fine.

Professor Pham was one of my first college professors I had after graduating highschool. I took the class online over the summer(where it usually is more fast paced). The class was a breeze. She posted assignments twice a week which usually took 10 minutes to complete. There were three tests, all very easy if you know the basics of the lecture.

I took this course during the summer and it was super easy. The only interaction you will have with the professor is through the recorded lectures or if you decide to email her any questions. Grades are based upon 3 exams and 5 assignments. The assignments were creative and fun. The study guides could be found through pre-made quizlets.

I am so happy that I chose Professor Pham as my professor as an introduction to my first psychology class! Her teaching methods were very clear and I loved how she had study guides for us to prepare for the tests. She gave us a free online textbook. It is best to read the chapters and follow along with lectures and make flashcards.

Professor Pham is to the point. A few HW assignments and a few tests throughout the semester. The emphasis is on the tests, study good and don't wait till the last day to review material. It is a class designed for an A+ if you can do well on her tests. I can't emphasize enough!

Her lecture power points were kind of disorganized but that was really the only problem. As long as you actually read the slides and do the discussions you should get an A. She seems like a really nice person.

I took Professor Pham's online Social Psychology course and it was one of the best psychology courses I've taken at OCC so far. The material in the lectures was interesting and easy to understand. I feel like I truly learned so much from this class. Only a few graded assignments for this course: 4 discussion posts, 2 exams, 1 essay.

Her online psych course was a breeze. When she gives homework it's a simple discussion post and the tests are never too difficult. She is also very sweet and understanding especially for those doing school from home.

This class has a lot of reading assigned and not much class interaction. I wish there were more discussions or assignments other than reading since I feel like that shows what you learn instead of watching lectures and the book/pp. The class itself, with the few assignments, was easy. Overall, I think I'd look for a class with a bit more challenge.

Most interesting part is the assignments. Not to difficult, but engaging and fun. A very nice and relaxed way to learn psychology, and a very easy A if you read the lectures. It being fully online makes it very non-intrusive to your everyday life. Highly recommend!

If it weren't for attendance being a grade, I would have not shown up at all. She posted her lectures online so the only point of showing up was because there was a group project that had to be worked on the whole semester. The group project was really easy anyway. She's a really nice professor and can be very informational if you ask her questions

Overly easy psych course. If you are looking for an easy A this is the class for you, however if you are looking to learn about psych or are a psych major I would strongly recommend to stay away. At times I forgot I even had this class due to how easy it was. There are only a few assignments and three tests that are open note, all very doable.

I have taken Professor Pham for PSYC100 and PSYC260. She is such an easy grader and has very few assignments. Make sure, though, that you do well on the 2-3 exams because they define your grade.

Easy class, lecture notes are optional but help with tests. You're graded on 4 assignments and 3 tests, so make sure you don't miss anything! The tests are all easy as they are only 20 questions long and all multiple choice. One thing I will say is she is inconsistent with when she posts the modules, so be aware of that.

Easy class if you just do what you're told to do. Not much work as you have 3 exams and 4 assignments that are not hard at all. If you are looking to take a class that is chill and light on work definitely take this course with her.

She was really great and the lectures and reading on textbook is already provided for free. You just have to read, and do all the homework which are all easy, refer to the slides for answers. The tests are easy and have 2 chances to do it, it would drop your lowest score. The final is all the chapters combined, but it is just like the tests.

Prof. Pham's PSYC260 is a relatively easy course, with minimal assignments and open-note exams. While the content may not be the most engaging, unstuckstudy ai proved helpful for efficient study prep. Overall, a decent class for credit requirements.
