Class was very interesting... if you go to class take notes and read the book you will do fine her test are very specific and long questions so study hard for those. i would recomend if you want an interesting class and want to learn Psych.

AWESOME professor!!! She is honestly the reason I decided to major in Psychology, get an M.A., AND become a Psychology professor. She is so much fun! I learned to take good notes from her, and how to study better. Pay attention to examples in class, and READ!

She gives great lecture but her tests are mostly conceptual knowledge. You MUST read the WHOLE textbook and study your notes if you want an A. Alot of group projects (writing papers in class on a topic). Also must write a 5-7 page report. She's tough but an EXCELLENT PROFESSOR!

this is a difficult class. regardless of your paradigm you will not agree with everything that is taught. you will find out a lot of psyc.'s claims don't exactly come from good science. use your own brain and passions when writing for her. it will serve you well. she is a good teacher who is passionate about what she teaches

She is an awesome teacher, but these are not blow off classes. You have to read and study alot. I read every Chapter word for word, made flashcards and studied her notes and for the life of me I got a B+ in both Human Sexuality and Lifespan. If you want an easy A do not take her. She does make class fun though and she is very funny and interesting.

Wonderful teacher! One of my favorites. I took her for Psych. and then for Lifespan. It is not a cake walk class but pay attention, take notes, and READ and you will do just fine. She is also very, very funny and tells the most interesting life stories. She is a remarkable woman! I hope to be able to accomplish as much as she has.

This class is not an easy A, but then again many sophomore level courses are ratically difficult. So just vew this course as a warmup because I doubt that 3000 or 4000 level courses are any easier. Do you see the pattern here: 1st yr. - easy, 2nd yr. - okay, 3 rd yr. slightly diffucult, 4th yr. - hard. ENJOY!

She still had 5 tests and a 5 page paper, but it was interesting. Her tests are hard. I only made a B in the class when I expected an A, but I did learn a lot.

Took her for general and life span. I absalutly loved her! She just makes it completly enjoyable to be in her class. BUT her notes do not prepare you at all for the test and she tells you that. So you HAVE to read the book! They are long chapters so its hard to remember it all. I was okay with the B just because i loved her class!

I just took her for LifeSpan in Summer I and she is great! First time to take her and I loved her! I expected the class to be easy, but it required a lot of effort to maintain A exam grades. I read the book cover to cover for assigned chapters but that was because I need A's. I am glad I studied so much bc I feel a bit enlightened. Good professor, engaging discussions. Recommend this professor. I only wish she used BB for quicker grade posting.

Very funny and outgoing teacher!! Loved her!! Even though I had her for a morning class I was never sleepy or tired. She definitely is one of a kind. Very caring towards her students and you can tell she has a passion for teaching. You do have to read the book and be on time to class...she does dislike tardiness. Take her! Such a great professor, i took her at 7:00 in the morning twice a week, and i always looked forward to going, even though im not much of a morning person!fantastic lectures! gave great examples and was always asking if we had questions. she made everything so undestandable i dont know how some people would fail the test. TAKE HER YOU WONT REGRET IT

I am a high school student and I took this class as part of the Early College Program. I have never looked forward to class, but she made me want to go! Now, I am not the brightest student in the bunch, but I managed to get an A. Her course consist of five exams. They are over three chapters each and are weighted the same. Simple questions! :)

This class is an easy A. I never read the book, just studied notes and got an A. However, her tests run differently. You must deeply process to understand concept, whenwho or what it came from and where it belongs. She gives lots of examples, I always studied before class and was able to make it through. Gives extra credit.

I did not take this class seriously so I did not get the grade I wanted. But she is really nice. Good professor gives a lot of examples. You will take quizzes for every 3 chapters of so. Gives opportunity for extra credit. Make sure you do the essay and 2-3 weeks before have her proof read it so you can do great.

Professor Romero is hilarious. She is truly passionate about what she does. You can tell. You have to read in order to pass this class. Read something. Anything. Take great notes, pay attention. She loves it when you ask questions. If you miss her class, you miss a great chunk of lecture. If you pay attention, her lectures are quite engaging.

Loved the lectures! This class is pretty much how a college class should be. She explained when things were due and was accessible if you had any questions. The book is ESSENTIAL. She goes over the chapters but if you miss a class you'll need the book to fall back on (you can still pass if you miss). Also very funny which helps!

One of my favorite teachers EVER!!!! I had her for Honers Psychology, and I loved every class. I looked forward to her lectures and she made studying and writing papers fun. I enjoyed the honors class because there was so much discussion among the students and you could tell that everyone wanted to be there. I would take her again in a heartbeat!

Professor Romero is so cute. She's hilarious and explains the material easy enough that you don't even have to read the book. We always had review days and she would MAKE SURE you understood everything. She wants you to pass. One of the best professors I've ever had. Tried to take her again for PSYC II but her classes were full.
