Dr. Lily is one of the best teachers I've ever had. This class is very hard but she's very knowledgable and helpful.

The topics learned are not very complex but there is a ton of material to memorize. If you want an A you must devote several hours to studying and start studying ahead of time!! I wouldnt take anatomy with any other teacher-she makes it understandable!

Extremely hard class. But definatley possible to get an A. In my opinion the first test was the hardest and it gets easier from there. Open lab became my second home. I learned more from Jeff the TA in lab then from Nosce but if jeff wasnt there im sure she would have helped more

Nosce is amazing! Anatomy at 7:15 in the morning can sound really lame, but Nosce makes it so interesting! She's really funny and always has cool stories about medical things. If you're interested in the subject before hand, then you'll love it. If not, i advise not taking the class. It IS challenging, but it's well worth the effort.

Dr. Nosce makes a very difficult subject into a fun and interesting semester. If you interested in the body this is the class for you. Although having helpful TA's is a must.

Dr. Nosce is one the smartest and most respectable professors I have ever had. I loved going to class everyday because she made it interesting and lets you know from the start that you are going to have to study alot and put work into it. Her grading is basic, the more you put in the more you get out. I LOVE NOSCE.

Dr. Nosce is the best professor that I've ever had. It's a priveledge to be one of her students. She is an expert at what she is teaching. I only wished that she taught microbiology or physiology at solano. She's very understanding when you are ill and not able to attend class. You definitely will have to study a lot but it's all worth it. LOVE HER

Dr. Nosce is a great teacher. This class is pretty easy as long as you study your ass off. Lecture tests are just define a word, she will give you a definition and you have to give the write word, and then 2 bonus questions at the end. No word bank, ALL FROM MEMORY! Lab is probably the best. you get to see cadavers. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!

She was an awesome teacher! She is very clear on what she expects from you and what to expect from her tests! If you fail, it is seriously your own fault, she gives you every opportunity to pass this class with an A!!! Make sure you ask her questions or a really good TA, some TA's dont know what they're talking about. Other than that, it was great!

I am not going to sugar coat this but Bio 220 will be the hardest class you take. Dr. Nosce does her best to give you all the info you need and she makes it interesting. Be prepared to study very hard an do not fail. This class is extremely hard to get back into, so you get one shot.

Anatomy is the hardest class I have ever taken at SSU, but by far my favorite. If you aren't a dedicated student, do not take this class. But if you are, it is the most rewarding class ever! Lab time is hands-on and interesting. TA's are also very helpful for this class so make friends with them! Nosce is the best-qualified teacher for the course.

I was a former student and TA of Nosce and let me tell you that what she taught us allowed me to succeed in the health field. Her lectures were concise and easily understood.I served as her TA for several semesters and working with her has been so rewarding. I was overwhelmed by the work load and course material,but Nosce made the class interesting.The lectures were organized and she clearly explained the most difficult topics and cited examples to further clarify the topic.She gives extra credit points in exams to boost the students grade. If you fail this class it is entirely your fault.GREAT CLASS!!

Dr. Nosce is awesome. She has an accent which can be hard to understand. Bad class time (7:15-8:30AM). Extremely knowledgable, and helpful. Open labs are a must. In anatomy you have to stay up to date. As soon as you fall behind you get left behind. TAs are helpful but require questions. They get the hours with or without working. Low test drops

The sleepless nights studying and the long open labs kept me on my toes.I am now a much better student because of how I was trained to study for this class.I love the lectures even if they were held so early in the morning. If you are not up to a good challenge and are weak in spirit this class is not for you. This teacher is tough but fair. Opportunities to excel in each test is given all you need to do as a student is to study well. There are open labs and review sessions. What more can one ask for? If you don't do well in this class, IT'S YOUR FAULT.

I was a DSS student and I was well accommodated in every test. I was given alot of time every exam especially during the lab quizzes. The class is hard but passing it is not impossible if you strive. I think those who rate this class and teacher poorly are those not doing well in class.Take the course,learn and enjoy the ride.

Honestly, this class is tough. It'll make you want to scream, cry, never want to wake up. But it is WORTH it. The knowledge I gained is crazy. Nosce is fair and just wants her students to succeed but you MUST do everything you can to work for your grade. For pre-nursing or kin, this class will eat the sh it out of you and probably take a lot of time out of you BUT as long as you ace all the lab tests you will be fine getting high Cs and low Bs on the lecture test to get an A. Recoreded lectures if possible. They are great to listen to overtime. Lab later in the day. Spelling questions? Ask at the end. Cadavers. Use open lab as much as possible for a better understanding and memorization of the material. Dr. Nosce and her team will work with you.

This class was one of the few that I've actually had to study for. Don't buy the books, you will never use them at all. There's no assigned reading, everything is covered in lecture. Open lab was crucial to passing.

Dr. Nosce is an amazing professor. I've never had a professor who made me laugh as much as she did. However, the class itself is a lot of work. You're constantly studying and taking exams, but you get used to it. You learn so much and she helps you every step of the way.

One of the best professors I ever had. her class in general is very hard, its a lot of memorization. But if you do well on the tests, you can get a good grade. Skipping lab and lecture won't help you. she knows her stuff and clearly describes it for you. Her grading system is purely based on points, so no test is worth more than the other.

Who says she is awful? Students who have been failing the class from day 1. This professor gives all her students the chance to pass the class by giving us extra credit points per exam. She was AMAZING. At first I was overwhelmed by the amount of material, but she knows how to break it all down and make it INTERESTING. No its not easy, I spent a LOT of time studying, but this isn't high school it's college. She is such a fair grader and gives us the opportunity to earn extra credit on exams. Overall, one of the best professors.

I recommended my niece to take Dr. Nosces class at SSU and I found out that she retired quite a while back. So many of us who are now PTs ,MDs, nurses and PAs felt privileged to be under the tutelage of this professor. I am now a 2nd year resident in cardio thoracic medicine. Dr. Nosce inspired me to be one.
