She is so awesome. She is always willing to help out, and will goot of the way to even meet up on weekends if the class wants to set up study sessions. I thinks she explains very well and her tests arent too bad at all, because she gives a lot of partial cretid.

Mrs. Lina was great. She's a terrific person, always willing to go out of her way to help after hours and in the Math Lab, and she uses a very fair grading policy. She has a great sense of humor, and she truly cares about the students. Her English is clear and she is fluent in Spanish too.

The easiest math teacher I have ever taken. Not the best at explaining things but my god she curvs like crazy along with giving make up test and curving the final. She is so Easy. Do most of your homework and you will do fine.

Amazing, simply amazing. Before the final she was available from 7AM to 10PM( this is not a typo). Almost no one dropped her. I had Mrs Prudom and only 7 out of 39 students took the final. Mrs Williams Hardly had anyone drop. Bravo Mrs. Williams Bravo.

She is a fantastic teacher. I am NOT a math person, but I really get trig now. Plus, you couldn't ask for a nicer or more helpful tracher. Take anything you can from her!

All I can say is that shes wonderful... Take her and you wont regret it..3/4 of the class had taken adn failed the class before...but theypassed with a's and b's this time...my advice: do your best to do homework....DO YOUR CORRECTIONS..i cant say that enough....shes wonderful..the class itself is hard but..she will do anything in her power to help

This is an EXCELLENT/FORGIVING instructor. For all you students who struggle in math like myself, Mrs. Williams takes the extra step to make sure that you understand what she is teaching in lecture. Those who say she is a bad instructor, should probably come to class on a regular basis. She will definately work with you to make a passing grade.!!

I personally Love Mrs. Williams. She has a bubbly personality. She tries to makes jokes in class, they are usually corny,but she tries. Kinda hyper, but will help you with anything. She is always in her office and is there if you need her. I took her for 3 semesters College Alg. , Trig, and Pre Calc.

She is very helpful, very forgiving when it comes to mistakes and helps you learn from them . Does corrections on tests and quizes with you, always giving oppertunities for extra credit. A perfect teacher for a student who tries even a little bit.

It's butta baby, this little cutie has an excellent class structure and offers a chance to correct what you missed on a test and quiz. easy A. She is very knowledged in math and is deeply concerned about her students doing well.

Awsome teacher. VERY jittery, will help you with anything you need. Gives you another chance over and over. Go to her office for corrections and homework, acctually show up for class, and look at the notes she gives you.

first of all she speaks english very well. i can understand every word she says very clearly. she's very enthusiastic and very helpful

Man this lady is the best teacher man. She is willing to help her students pass her class. All you need to do is attend class and take her tests.

ms. williams is awesome! she's really funny.. just b/c she tries to be sometimes. she helps you out ALOT, that is if you want the help. she lets you correct your tests for full credit which is awesome! i love her and recommend her, definitely!

Ms. Williams is really helpful, lets you correct your tests, and gives you extra credit quizzes. She does, however, get confusing when you ask her to over explain something. If you get it the 1st time, don't listen to her ramble about it more. She is also very loud! ...but very funny. I highly recommend her!

They say trigs hard, but i personally thought college algebra was harder than this class. lina knows her trig take her!

lina is a GREAT teacher!!! i personally loved her! she was super fun n actually cared about helping you. I would gladly recommend her to anybody. Everyone told me college alg was super hard, but she made it super easy! she doesnt mind any questions and she is always happy to help u. I failed my trig class, wish i had HER as a teach for it!

The material is not easy but she knows how to make you understand it. Gives you her notes online, test are not that bad, everything is straight from the notes or homework. So you have to do your homework. this class requires alot of time but she can explain everything very well.

I took her for precalc, trig, college algebra and calc. Shes very helpful, lots of office hours. Her test are not easy. If you study and ask questions you will pass. She really knows what shes doing.

Mrs. Willams is a really great teacher. She may be a bit difficult, but wat teacher is not! I made an A in her College Algebra Class and to get an A, you will have to earn it. The only thing I can really tell you is to study whateva she gives you. I did it and I made an A in her class.......

Lina is God's gift to Math teaching. She teaches relatively slow. She does the harder stuff in class, and backs up a little on the tests. I took her for 1105,and 2140, and would never have another teacher if that were possible.

Ms. Williams is the coolest math teacher at TCC. I would recommend her to anybody because she has a fun way of teaching math and she thoroughly explains the subject matter so that you can get a better understanding of it.

this professor is bias. i say that because i saw she gave extra points to some of the female students and when i saw the answer key that she yanked from my hands quickly, i noticed she missed 15 pts out of my grade.drops lowest test grade and helps students but says students make excuses even when its uncontrollable.ok but not fair or sympathetic.

Wonderful math teacher! I've never enjoyed math, but even taking an accelerated summer term I have been able to comprehend and even enjoy it. She goes over every concept in class,spends time explaining problems on the supplements & works out almost every one in class. She's really nice,though acts tough.Would take this teacher again in a heartbeat!

She is an amazing teacher. If you have questions, she will answer them, and keep asking if you get it, until you actually got it. She is very passionate about students taking their classes seriously. Take her if you want a challenge, but also a teacher that cares about you.

She is very random with her talking and will go off topic in a quick flash but then jump back to the topic at hand. She is helpful but has a differnt way of explainign it. I feel she needs to work a little bit more on her teaching skills so that the sutdents can better understand

She's the best teacher i've had at TCC yet. i took trig and precal with her and it was definetly a reason why. She teachers great and is sooo helpful. Do your work and then say something negative about her. If ur not willing to try den you dnt need to be in her class let alone in College. She's the BEST!

She is a very helpful teacher, and is willing to show you how to do problems. She will repeat things and ask if everyone understands over and over, she can sometimes over explain things if people look at her with lost eyes. Overall to get an A, just do the HW, Quizzes, and attend class and FILL in the notes she provides. She's also hot.

She is ok at teaching just try's to involve the class instead of her just going over problems on the board. Which doesn't work much cuz students don't talk much. However, she does give quizzes like everyday and off the random so study before coming to class.

She's really nice and helpful teacher, but she is super confusing. I would not reccomend her because she was so hard to follow. She shows you common mistakes students made in her previous classes, which shows you a wrong way to do the problem. Super confusing.

She's a good teacher, but her tests are crazy hard. There is no extra credit,does NOT drop lowest grade; maybe a quiz grade. She has abunch of office hrs if you need help. Hard, but if you're willing to work you'll do fine.

Ms. Williams is an excellent teacher! She helps you whenever you ask her without hesitation. Makes you use the book a lot for homework. Attendance is very important. Study for her tests because some problems come from the book. Lots of Pop quizzes, be prepared! You will like her class if you get to know her.

She is a sweet lady, but she can't explain the material very well. Her grading policies are insane; she will take off major points for stupid things. She may or may not drop your lowest quiz grade, but your quiz grades are a compilation of the homework and the actual quiz. Even if you get the quiz material right you'll get a sixty for not doing HW.

Lina is great cus she provides fully written notes on each section she covers in class so you can pay attention instead of copying notes and multitasking she often will reference test and quiz probs from book hw & WILL take time in class to explain what you dont understand very helpful in office hours too she gives 4 tests 8-10 quizes. Sweet lady!

The people saying she's a terrible teacher obviously didn't pay attention in her class. It's that or they're just not good at math to begin with so they blame it on the teacher. Personally, if you're not good at math don't bother taking higher level math classes.

I am going to miss Professor Williams so much! The people with the negative comments obviously didn't show up to class or didn't take notes. You need to make sure you take notes in her class because she moves very fast. She wants her students to succeed and makes sure before moving on, that everyone understands the material. Very good teacher!

Shes very nice and will work hard to ensure you get a good grade as long as you try. Show up on time and she will love you however it is not mandatory.

miss williams has a slight accent so it might be hard to understand her some of the time but she does know the material very well and is always very willing to help with questions and is interested in your personally as a student. she is a fair grader and allows test corrections for extra credit. shes a very smart, very nice lady. good teacher!!

She was one of my favorite professors I have ever had at TCC. She really cares about her students and will explain things until everyone understands completely. It's an easy class if you do the homework and study. She teaches great, so if you put in your part, you should be fine.

Very good teacher with a lot of energy! If your decent at math you should be able to make it through her College Alg class with an A fairly easy. She's really good with moving through the lessons with decent speed but will always make sure people understand get their questions answered before moving on. Definitely take her if you get the chance!

All the homework was on paper and she gave opportunities to work on it in class. The quizzes were announced several days before. She was fun and engaged the students. She did get lost while working some of the problems from her online notes but I have NEVER had a professor who didn't and she was always very willing to listen to the students.

Personally, I'm not good at math. She teaches great, but when it comes to the test she grades very hard. She wants your work and if the work isn't right, but the answer is she'll mark it wrong.
