Marston is awesome. Adorablee older man. He uses powerpoints which i find very helpful, and when hw is assigned he also does the hw and writes outs the answers step my step how to do..this was EXTREMELY helpful and beneficiary. I never dreaded going to class, he makes u feel comfortable and hes a very fair grader. Definitely recommend his class

Linc has the corniest jokes ever, but still manages to make the class laugh, he goes over slides the entire class so that is pretty boring. Quizzes are easy and even if you think you got a D on one, you'll get a B...Love good ole Linc

Ive had Linc for Statistics and Pre calc, hes really easy and very helpful and he always drops the lowest quiz score, which is nice. If you have to take a math class, I would try your hardest to get him.

He was extremely helpful, and I am even taking him again for other math classes. He showed a genuine concern for student needs, and also had adorable stories about his grandaughter! He tries to make the best out of a subject no one can really make interesting.

Linc is a great guy. He truly loves teaching math and knows what he is talking about. Will not let anyone leave this class with a bad grade. Only thing i wish he did more was more math problems so we could see how to do everything and less powerpoints..Overall great guy

Though he does read from the powerpoint, he clarifies the smaller details that are confusing on each slide. A truly helpful and kind teacher who teaches for both those who are great at math and those who are not. I recommend him to anyone who prefers an entertaining math teacher. :)

Lincoln is a teacher who always tries to be your friend and funny..he grades easily but you need to keep him on task to take whY you really need from the class..overall great though

Linc is a great guy that tries to make this dull topic as interesting as possible. The powerpoints are dry but aren't crucial to actually understanding the material. He grades easily because his best interest is in the student. Favors students that attend class everyday and do homework, which has a nice surprise at the end of the class.

He really does want you to do well, but students with good attendance and high homework averages fair better in this class--pretty easy to do well

Great teacher! Funny and the class, I thought, was fairly easy. Homeowrk counts for a good portion of your grade so make sure you do it. Quizzes aren't bad and neither were the tests. The information is a little dry but Linc tries to make it as fun as possible.

After not taking a math class in 7 years I was apprehensive towards taking one. He was very helpful and made us feel wanted, encouraged us to ask questions, and often joked around, making the class less stressful. I urge anyone that has to take a stats class to take it with Prof. Marston, he is 1 teacher I greatly appreciate!

Linc is a very funny, old soul. I have always had trouble in math classes in high school and he really took that away by going over things thoroughly before quiz time, and does not try to trick you in any way. He is also extremely generous with grading. By far the best teacher I have this semester.

The professor was really helpful. Exams are scaled and he will stay on a topic until the class understands. Impossible to fail.

Linc is a great professor, he's very understanding towards absentences and make up tests/quizzes. If you suck at math, i'd recommend taking Stats with him. He's helpful and is available at all times in case help is needed. The homeworks are graded, but rarely assigned. As long as you know the general concepts, you'll do great on his tests!

Linc really is a great guy. In highschool I was really challenged in every math course but with Linc I felt he really cared about us learning the material. He is easy to work with and he will do eveything he can to not let his students fail. His jokes and character really made is a stress free classroom and something to look forward to.

Prof. Marston is a very good professor who really cares about his students and is genuinely interested in what he is teaching. If I would have put forth complete effort in his class I could easily have received an A.

Loved having Linc for stats. He made things simple and to the point. He wants everyone to do well in the course and is always available to help if you're having trouble. Quizzes and tests were fair, so it is quite easy to pass with an A or B if you go to class and pay attention.

He takes a required class that is difficult and not interesting and makes it tolerable. His personality and delivery make the class what it is. It would be very dry and difficult if not for Prof Marston. I'm very happy I got him.

He is an overall good teacher. Some of his explanations are confusing because he is a fast talker and some of the homework assignments are annoying. But he always answers your questions and his practice quizzes are really helpful for studying. I would recommend him to anyone taking this course!

In my opinion, the best mathematics Professor UNE has to offer. Pre Calc or Sats Lincoln Marston is your guy. Hilarious in the classrom, upbeat every morning, actually made me want to go to class (dare I say it). Best mathematics course in my entire academic career, and some of the highest grades.

Link is the best math teacher! I signed up for my next math class with him too! He is very helpful and makes the work doable. He doesn't try to trick you on any of the questions and really just wants you to learn the material in the easiest way possible. He also gives out practice quizzes and tests before which are very helpful!

Professor Marston was very clear in class and I always understood what was going on. He was always there for office hours which really helped a lot and he would always respond to your emails quickly. I would definitely have him again as a professor. I enjoyed his class very much and I passed because of him and his teaching abilities.

I didn't find this class difficult at all. I truly believe that if you show up and pay attention then you should have no trouble passing.

You will need the online participation code from pearson. Mandatory no way to pass without it. I didn't need the actual textbook in addition to this but I do have experience with this type of math.

Attendance is mandatory, but he is understanding if something comes up and you must miss one class. I would highly recommend him for stats. He also plays music at the start of class which is fun.

A subject I am weak at is math and professor Lincoln has been the best math teacher ever, even though I struggled! I needed help one time because I had no idea what we were being tested on the next day so he made room to go over the materials with me, and it was difficult to understand, but he kept explaining 'til I understand. He's also hilarious!

Always in a good mood. Very nice and very helpful professor and person. Willing to help. If you don't do the work or don't care, you won't pass. If you attend every class, you're more likely than not to pass. Over all easy class. Tries to make the class fun as possible. Didn't use the textbook once, don't bother.

The best stats professor at the university. Is there for students and more than willing to help you understand materials outside of class. Is always there for office hours and responds to emails in a timely manner. Also gives you his personal home number in case you need help with any homework assignments. I recommend Linc for Stats.

Professor Marston is a wonderful professor who enjoys teaching and cares about his students succeeding.

He bumps up your grade at the end of the year if you go to class, but if you dont make it to class he doesn't penalize you. Also, do not buy the hardcopy of the textbook because the online homework access code includes the homework.
