VERY HELPFUL ONLINE INSTRUCTOR...ASSIGNMENTS WERE OKAY..THEY ARE ALL OUT OF THE BOOK SO SOME MAY BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

Great teacher.I took the class online. It was quite a bit of reading and homework, but well worth it. She answered all emails and even let you correct homework to improve your grade.

Gave detailed syllabus of what expected & lesson schedule, & stuck to it. Willing to work with you until you understand & get it right. Made hard concepts sooo very easy to get. Lots of lecture, hands-on learning, and she also answers emails promptly/daily. The BEST computer/business instructor! Very sweet and tries to help each student excel.

Taught difficult course in easy to know format. Lectured, used powerpoint, and physically showed every step. Very easy to follow, and willing to do whatever it takes to help each student grasp concepts before moving on to another. Stayed on schedule/syllabus. No surprises. I have other Prof.teach CP class also at Palomar, I send 3 times emails to ask the same question, she never answer my question. I rate Linda Amor an "Easy" teacher because she responds to questions quickly and effectively, corrects homework and quizzes even more quickly, and offers help in many forms. Her attentiveness is vital in an online course and very much appreciated. Professors who keep you from working efficiently are the "Hard" ones.

This was a really easy class. If you don't meet up with her in person, you can always send the assignments to her online and she grades fairly and for the final exam you have some good options. I recommend her!

Loved the Videos!!! Once I got myself organized, Ms. Amor was great. Since I am not a *normal student* (retired) I am not a good judge, since I know I am slow to learn and figure things out...Ms. Amor does a great job of understanding learning styles and behaviors and dealing with those in her answers to questions! I learned so MUCH!!

Excellent instructor, highly recommend. Allowed resubmitting homework for improved scores, was very clear with help on mistakes, really knows her stuff. This was an Excel class. I started as a novice and now looking forward to completing all her classes and testing as a Microsoft Specialist in Excel.

Ms. Amor is a hard worker and does extremely well in explaining what areas of improvement are needed. She give great advice on the approach to the subject. She also has a charismatic personality that makes her easy to talk to.

Linda Amor has put so much forethought into her on-line Excel course on how best to provide help and learning that she all but does the work for you. Without a doubt she sets her students up for success.

She is expert in Excel and provides fast response to questions and plenty of additional useful material. This on line course is a challenge and requires dedication and effort on the students part. Linda Amor is an excellent professor. First, she grades assignments very quickly. You won't be waiting and pulling your hair out worring. Secondly, the assignments are not too hard, but not too easy. Thirdly, whenever I email her questions, she responds in a timely manner and is always very helpful.

Very helpful! Professor Amor expects a lot from her students. However, you can tell she has a passion for making you better. I thought that class was easy. However, I was stuck on one concept, professor Amor Emailed me many times until I finally got it! Great Professor! My final project made me proud of what I have learned. Take her!!!!

Best online class. Highly recommend. She makes all information readily available and blackboard easy to navigate. Easy A if you put the time into the work and don't slack off. However, I use Excel daily and did not find this course as helpful as I wanted it to be.

Class is fun. Teacher is super nice and helpful. She gives every opportunity to the student to help them do well. easiness depends on your reading level and ability to catch your own mistakes; book gives step by step instructions.

I very much enjoyed this class, I had not taken an online class for some years so I was having difficulty at first and Ms. Amor was so patient as I e-mailed her with questions. She always returned my e-mails quickly with great instructions on how to take care of the problem. She was a GREAT online instructor.

Excellent class. Professor Amor is extremely helpful and she is very organized. The material is time consuming but very useful. I will sign up for the BUS 176 and BUS 177 classes next semester but only if professor Amor is teaching them.

Take Bus 175 online (or in class) with her. She is very helpful and always willing to give advice to help improve my grade. Though, I had some troubles because it was my first online class, I learned so many things about excel.

Take her for Microsoft Excel 2010 either online or in class. She is very helpful and always willing to clarify and give advice how to do the tutorials she assigned. Just try to be always ahead or on time.

Great class to take. Don't worry about it being an online class because the teacher is more than willing to help in person or over email. Professor is quick with grading and lets you resubmit assignments for a better grade after giving tips on what needs to be fixed. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER :))

Excellent professor! She is more than happy to answer questions & communicates well via e-mail. Her assignments are straight-forward and informative, but you will definitely need access to the book because all of her assignments come from the text. Great class.

This instructor is very helpful and responsive. I actually enjoyed this class a lot because the authors really did a great job writing the textbook. I can't express enough that if you need this course, take this instructor! You won't regret it.

The instructor was very helpful and responsive by email or class discussion board, and she reviewed and graded assignments promptly. If something in an assignment was submitted incorrectly she explained and gave me the opportunity to resubmit correctly.

An amazing teacher and very helpful. Response to emails quickly and gives advice how to correct your assignments which you are allowed to resubmit for full credit. Do give yourself plenty of time to complete the assignments, they are not overly complicated but are lengthy and time consuming.

Linda Amor is a great professor, she was so thorough and provided a lot of resources. The class was very organized and efficiently run.

This will be tedious for an experienced user as it's definitely an introductory course, but if you've never used Excel, you'll find this challenging as the coursework really teaches you hands-on in working with the program. It's a great introductory class.

I was very excited to be in this class and Prof. Amor was extremely helpful and always answered all of my questions. The material was laid out really well and was very easy to understand.

This was an excellent class. The instructor was prompt, clear, and flexible when I had a death in the family in the middle of the last week of class. I learned a lot in this basic Excel class and am taking the intermediate class from this instructor next semester.

This Excel class was an online course which to be successful you need a clearly organized curriculum and a professor who is timely with feedback. I received both. The assignments were meaningful with the right amount of practice. Allow enough time to go through the tutorials and do the assignments. I would definitely take this professor again.

Professor Amor takes the time to comment on your work and gives you the chance to correct it which is fantastic and I think essential to learning the program- not doing it right the first time and submitting the workbook doesn't teach, because you are moving on and building on the knowledge that you have learned previously. I took this class online. I think this class was very good structured for an online class. Most of the work is straight forward and all you have to do is schedule your time and pace yourself so the work doesn't load up. Since its an online excel class everything takes longer than expected but she gives good feedback and responds pretty quickly .

She is an amazing teacher, she is very helpful and clear. She makes the class easy and fun. Her feedback is the best and she is very considerate to not leave anyone behind or feeling lost. I am glad to be taking this class and the following with her. I wouldn't have it any other way.

She accepts late homework, but because it adds up, I don't recommend waiting until the last minute. The e-mail interaction with her was ALWAYS incredibly friendly. Pretty basic class, but you can learn a ton from it if you do the reading. Must have the book as it is online and every assignment is from the book directly.

Very informative as far as what was expected to get a passing grade and also offered the option of resubmitting assignments for extra points which is awesome. She is a very meticulous grader and catches even the smallest flaw. Also her response time to questions through email is extremely quick.

Professor Amor has been wonderful! This was my first online class, and she was extremely helpful with questions. Communication is great, which with an online class is key. She gives great feed back and really helps you understand the course material. assignments are given back with corrections to assist in understanding how to do it correctly.

Even though this class was an online only class the professor was really communicative and very present. Excellent feedback on work turned in and the ability to fix errors and resubmit was a plus. A lot of work but well worth the time spent. She knows her stuff!

This online class had a lot of work, moderately difficult degree level, but Amor organized it SOOOO well that it was super easy to get through. Well paced. Very, very smooth class. Highly recommend!

She was very understanding of the challenges faced by a first time online student who works 60 hours a week while trying to get an education. Linda was a really great teacher who was patient enough to help me succeed in her class. I also learned a lot on how use excel that caused me to get my homework done faster in one class so far.

Since I took this as a 5 week class, it was heavy on work for the single unit, but the textbook was easy to follow and course expectations are clear. The professor gives good feedback and is kind. I wouldn't hesitate to take her again and actually just began BUS176 with her. She is a great choice for BUS175 in an online format.

I took this course online over the summer. I can honestly say Linda was easy to reach via email and responds quickly to any questions or concerns. She gives great feedback on the work submitted and even gives you the opportunity to fix any mistakes she finds in your submissions and then resubmit to increase your grade.

The class itself is challenging for beginners but IF effort and organization is invest on the class you will pass with flying colors, beside if you still need extra help there is the Business Department where you can find update software and a charming and helpful assistant who will help you.

Online Excel course. Professor is very flexible in submitting work for credit. Provided a few opportunities for extra credit. DB was only used for 2 submissions; 1 at the beginning and 1 at the end of the course to get to know students and for feedback.

Right amount of work to make sure you understand the material and learn, but not busy work. Have to have text book, as most assignments are straight from the book. Flexible schedule - you are able to work ahead if you have the time, and some flexibility if you're a little behind. I learned what I was hoping to learn and didn't feel overwhelmed.

Great teacher, just buy the current Excel edition and you will be ok. There ARE some pages in the book that do make sense to the current Excel version though.

Linda Amor was a great teacher and was very understanding when I was having difficulty with my program that was downloaded onto my computer. She had a relatively quick response to emails and grading of homework.

She was an excellent instructor, she has all her assignments there and even has a example to help you get through them. With her quizzes its only a few questions, 5 I believe. Only thing that was remotely difficult was the final project. It doesn't open until couple weeks before class is over. She responds to any questions you have. Awesome teacher

I really enjoyed the class and the teacher was easy to access if I had questions. I would take another class with this teacher without a doubt. I do recommend a book and not a e-book or if you get a e-book a second screen might be helpful.

I had a great time in the BUS175 class. Prof Amor's class is very straight forward and gives great feedback. Passing the class should be extremely easy the way she has it set up!

The grading was very clear-cut and forgiving. Your grade is centered around homework (when you're in the software) more than the tests (which have been MCs). Would definitely take a class with her again!

Professor Armor is an amazing professor! The assignments for this course is very straightforward and Professor Armor gets back to you quickly and with great communication between students. There is plenty of time to do the assignments and she is available throughout the week to meet with you if you have any questions or need advice.

Great class to learn the basics! You can resubmit for a better grade on assignments. I worked two jobs and was taking full classes and still was able to handle the work for this class while still getting a lot out of it. A couple of correspondences seemed a bit short or upset in response to questions, but its probably b/c it is fully online!
