Pro. Vasquez is an inspirational, motivating, and passionate educator. I took her class in Winter which was intense. However, she is an experienced prof. who puts a plan together that helps students achieve the goals set forth for the class. Pro. not only helps improve reading/writing skills, but also brings out the best in each student.

Professor Vasquez, is a very motivational teacher. She does hand out lots of homework but as long as you keep up, you should be ok. Reading is mandatory as the work is based on all the reading. I would deff take her again. She is realistic and brings out the best in each one of her students.

The course is generally easy, but expect several hours of composing essays. However, as long as you dedicate the time, you'll be ok. You'll even get an "A"... just keep trying. She piqued our curiosity and made us think critically about everything. I believed her when she said we could change the world with our pen, but you have to be willing to put in the work!

Professor V. Will always make time for her students. She is the only professor to have ever given her students her cell number and said call me if you have questions or concerns. She takes the time to go over every assignment in great detail. If you turn it into her before the deadline she will tell you of needs improvement or not.

I really enjoyed the last project because it was problem based learning and it required us to get involved with the issue at hand. Even if it was hard, I was very grateful to take this class and I learned a lot.

Prof Beauregard-Vasquez is the BEST. She encourages her students to go into a realm of excellence. She asks tough questions and students learn critical thinking skills, how to write, and research. Prof Beauregard-Vasquez CARES. She is NEVER boring. She is accessible and answers all questions during class, email or text. I strongly recommend.

Professor Beauregard-Vasquez is truly a professor to remember. I had her in 2016 and to this day, I remember her heart, her lectures, and how she inspired me to push through and get things done. Show up for class, utilize her lectures, and take advantage of what's to learn. Be prepared to unlock your true potential.

Professor Beauregard-Vasquez gave us very interesting material to work with throughout the semester. On top of that she was extremely easy to contact through #, she responded within minutes every single time. Anytime I had a problem she would hop on a call and explain the assignment in depth. There is a lot of work to do, but it is rewarding.

Was very open about grading, she assures you that you cannot get lower than a B. Communicated a lot with he students and was very caring.

Took her 8-week. She is not the easiest professor but she's fair. Three essays, one that is longer. Calling bullsh*t essays are fun conspiracy theories. 3rd essay is harder but good topic choices. It's what you would expect from an English class - reading, writing, and revising. Go to the TLC. It helps. Birds aren't real! The Earth is flat!

i hate writing. she made it fun anyway. 3 essays. 1 is about a disney movie, 1 is about birds that arent real, 1 is about conspiracy theories. Onlien is hard, but she was easy to reach. could text her about anything and get fast reply. grading contract is a life saver. just do your work. she will be there to helpl.

She is not the easiest teacher but its doable. 3 essays. Do your homework. Plan time management.

Took her 5 week 101 in winter. Prof. V is easy. If you do the work, you earn at least a B with the grading contract. I got an esay A. The problem solution essay helped me to know I can make a difference. I am taking her for Engl 103 and her CCE201 class in Spring. You can't go wrong with her. Just do the work!

The grade was my own doing but would have definitely gotten an A. She has a grading contract where as long as you do the work you will have a B or better. Professor was very understanding of the situation people were in. She tries and cares for all her students to be successful in her class. Take her if you are struggling in English.

The professor is caring and provides ample support. While the workload can be heavy at times, the projects and assignments are rewarding. Unstuck ai proved helpful for study prep.

i think that this class was a learning experience. It's tough, but you are guaranteed at least a B if you follow her grading contract. I think she is extremely caring, and really showed that in her actions towards our class (extra credit, extended deadlines). If you don't like to put in effort, don't expect to reap the reward.

I just got a job in HR because of her teaching. She teaches skills that companies want. It was the best class I have ever taken.

This professor was SO helpful and always available to answer questions whenever I had them. I found a lot of inspiration from this teacher because she takes the time to listen. It is important to note that closed mouth's don't get fed so if you want to have a great experience, I suggest reaching out/communicating if you can't meet deadlines.

Short simple and sweet, if you want a Professor that actually cares then I suggest Professor Vasquez! I took her condensed class during summer which was heavy on work but satisfying because she guides you through it! Makes you strive to be a better writer. Great lectures and a relatable person who truly cares for her students!

She cares. That's the key. She made writing fun and she cared. She even had a potluck on the last day. Even though it was only 8 weeks, the work was easy as long as you do it and not procrastinate. If you want a teacher who will be there every step of the way, she is it. I wish I had taken her for 16 weeks. I hated saying goodbye.

Hands down, one of the best English professors on campus, she is invaluable and passionate about helping others succeed.

Anyone who manages to find a way to complain just wasn't paying attention half the time. Sure, the work is hard but it's a college level English class what else could u expect? Don't fall 4 her "ragebait" there is more to what she says then u see. She gen cares about her students and teaches lessons creatively. Truly an inspiration & role model!

She is the most reassuring and motivating professor, and she truly cares about her students' success. She offers extra credit and even took the time to personally call me about my grade, which really showed how much she cares about our education. The encouragement, support, and confidence she gave me helped me feel more prepared for a secure future
