Prof. Campbell needs to be teaching at a graduate level. She expects too much from students who are only seeking a C or better to squeak by.

I think Prof. Campbell is a great professor. She definalty knows what she is talking about and enjoys her job. The material is difficult but, she was always helpful when I asked any questions. There was to many exams but overall, I really enjoyed her class.

As I read the other comments made in regards to PSY228,it makes me wonder how old are these individuals?It is usually the young kids right out of high school that dont ask ?s and have a negative adittude.I had a great experience taking Campbell's class! She was helpful,friendly & intelligent!

I loved her as a teacher. Interesting lectures. Long tests, but not hard. I always got help during her office hours. She really loves teaching. There is a 20 page paper OR 2 hours a week mentoring. Nice teacher. I got an A in the class and didn't have to study much.

I took her TELEWEB course. It's an easy A. She gives long exams, but she gives about 30 extra credit questions. You have to watch boring videos and take notes & send them to her. As long as you take a lot of notes & add comments, you'll get 100% on these. This was my 1st online class & I enjoyed it.

Exams will kill you, other than that class is fun...

she is not an easy teacher but if you actually go to class and read the text you should do well. you MUST go to class though!!!

I took all her psych classes. She's really sweet, not a tough grader, but has loooong tests! They are curved though.

Took this class last summer,got an A. Not an easy class but it wasn't too bad either. I got good grades on HW. Advice: Important to attend class,read the book when you need clarification,don't turn in sloppy HW (proof it!),read test quest carefully before answering. If you do this you'll do well! Really enjoyed this class & recommend. She's fair.

yeah the tests are difficult. you have to take note. Study the book and notes. It is probably one of my most difficult classes but you can get by if your motivated to get a good grade and write your paper!!!!!

She is overall a nice teacher. As long as you study, attend class and read the book you will pass the class. And also make sure you complete the project. But read read read the book.

I feel Linda was a very cool teacher. A lot of people had a lot of bad things to say about her probably because they were not doing what it takes to past and get a good grade (read take notes, and study).

she is okey and she knows her text book.she is unorganised but she is very funny. her tests are hard but you have to read the text boook real dgood if you want to pass the class with a decent grade.Go to class and ready for anything. good luck. i managed to pass the class with a B plus i used the old text book. so can do it .

The class is fast paced and the lecture can be boring. Funny and helpful teacher. She is always willing to help out her students and gives every chance to do well. You will need to study to pass the class.

Showing up to class is a must! She tests on stuff covered in class. If you read the material and take notes you'll do fine and pass! I got a B, but I did work for it! She's a good teacher, nice lady, school isn't about not working so if you put in the effort your grade will reflect it and she's there to help!

This is a hard class full of a lot of information. If you go to class and read the book (twice) you will do well. She gave a few take home tests which helped. I liked Linda, thought she was funny and always willing to help if you show effort.

Campbell is a highly educated Psych instructor. This is not 101. There is a lot of info and she has a lot of knowledge to share. She relies heavily on the fact that her students read the book and supplement it with her lectures. She is somewhat disorganized. She loves the service project, so do that. Enjoy the experience of the class!!!

She is a very intelligent professor, but the course is very difficult. I managed to get an A in her Psy 228 course over summer 08. You must read, reread, and read the text again and again. Every little detail is fair game, but her lectures do cover most of what's important. Exams are extremely difficult, but if you STUDY HARD and READ = A

Prof Campbell is a highly educated instructor. She is super nice and very understanding. As long as you show up to class and read the textbook you will do well in this class. She is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be.

An excellent professor and the best one I ever had. Extremely helpful and replies promptly to e-mails. The class is challenging, but passable. It is important to attend each class session, write down everything she says, and most importantly, READ THE BOOK. Tests are long and questions are mainly from the book. Liked her sense of humor.

Prof Campbell is a good teacher and very knowledgable about psychology. Don't take this class if you aren't willing to do the work required. She grades fairly and is always willing to help her students.

She is funny and I enjoyed the lectures. May seem disorganized IF you dont read ahead. The material is very interesting and useful. I felt overwhelmed at first but then got used to her style. If you take this class in the summer, make sure you have time. Covering the entire book and doing a research paper = lots of work and studying.

I took two classes with professor Campbell, she is a wonderful teacher. Very fair in grading and knows how to relate her knowledge. People, please stop saying that a teacher is a "bad" teacher just because you didn't study the material. A definition of a "good teacher is not one who does not give a crap and passes u .

Depends on the section that you're in.. You have to be very organized.. Service learning was a great experience.

If you wanna pass her class, simply read the book, Period. Service learning was great. she is helpful but try to know her style first.

This teacher is nice and funny. She does know her info. but if you wanna pass the class you need to READ EVERY WORD IN YOUR TEXT BOOK!!! All the noted you take in class are not going to help! You must do the extra credit for extra points as well. I thought the essay was easy but everyone is different. She is going to make you work for your grade.

She is an awesome Professor. If you want to learn in a professional environment then you have come to the right place. Professor Campbell in the type of teacher that knows how to teach a student. She loves what she do and that is teach PSY.

Not the worst teacher and if you talk to her she will let you turn in late assignments...exams where hard and i didn't score well on them but i still ended up getting an A in her class.

I think this teacher was great! She was very helpful and interesting. This is NOT an easy A...but who really wants their grades handed to them anyway? I got an A in this class and it wasn't the hardest thing I've ever done. I would take her again. I like to know that I earned my grade by working hard. Plus, it really wasn't too much work.

Prof Campbell is an excellent instructor. She applies her real-world experience which is very interesting, has a great sense of humor, and is helpful. Make sure you READ the book (even captions under pictures)!! Her class is work (should be 4 credit hours, not 3), but if you go in with an open mind and apply yourself you will do fine.

Very smart teacher! Her grading is fair, and she gives you feedback on your answers, so you know the type of response she expects on future assignments/tests. Not an easy class, but if you keep up and do the reading (all of it!), you can come out with an A or B.

Her PP are not available for you to print out, so you need to write super fast, because she goes fast, she is approachable, will let you turn in late assignments. Makes you do writing assignments constantly, it seemed like everytime there was a test at least 1 every 2 weeks there was a writing assignments due and sometimes it was 6 pages long

She is very good teacher, I liked her lectures because they were very interesting. However, she does not have PP, so you have to write, but i liked this class. If you try, you will get A, plus I learned a lot from this class.

Excellent! By far the best instructor I've ever had. Her lectures are outstanding. A lot of course content to go over but Campbell makes it easy as she is very approachable and will go out of her way to help you succeed.Follow her syllabus to the "tee", do the reading and download her PP's B4 each class. You'll get an A if you work at it.

I love Professor Campbell! Her class is not easy and has a lot of writing assignments. But if your a serious student and attend class,take notes and turn in your writing assignments you will be fine. The class is interesting and really sparked my love for Psychology.

Took her blended class which was fairly easy. Most of our test were take-home, but the were long over 100 questions! For the final she gives you two options. One was flying falcons which involved 50 hrs in a after-school programs with grade school kids or a research paper. The research paper has to be 18pgs long! I really liked her class.

Loved taking her class! She is very funny and helpful. I did not do the service learning project, I did the research paper which was 13 pages but she helps you through it and gives more than enough time to do it. Her tests are sort of difficult and you definitely need to read the book prior to the test.

Itook the online version and I enjoyed it although I will say that you definitely need to read every single part of every chapter of the book but if you do that then your fine! The research paper was very long but I got throug it, and Ms Campbell was very helpful in helping me find articles to use for my paper. I reccomend the online class.

I really enjoyed this class. The work wasn't very difficult and i gained a lot of useful knowledge. Linda Campbell is a very helpful and fair teacher.

Prof Campbell is knowledgeable and helpful. Although he test are hard, she is a very easy grade for the various writting assignments so with a little effort anyone should be able to get an A. Tests account for less than 50% of the grade and she basically gives As for everything else. Those that complain just don't want to do any work at all.

Linda is pretty much what you would expect from a psycology professor... a little "out there"! She is definitely disorganized, her powerpoints are all over the place... but nevertheless you will learn A LOT from her. There is an incredible amount of reading involved, but as long as you stay on top of assignments, it's an easy A.

I strongly recommend people to take her blended course: half online and half lecture. She is an easy teacher, but the work is very time consuming. Everything was take home. Her lectures were very interesting as well! Great teacher.

I do not understand why Professor Campbell's rating is this low, she is a very educated and a well generous professor. She is within reason, not very hard at all if you do the readings and mostly the research paper.

I took the blended course. I enjoyed the material. There is a project due that is mandatory. Exams are tricky so make sure you read all chapters.

I had my reservations when taking Prof. Campbell, but she was very accommodating and lenient. I feel the poor reviews don't do her justice. While her PPT presentations are hard to follow, she gives many opportunities to earn extra points on top of the extra credits, which makes a big difference. Put in the effort and you'll do great!

Im really surprised she got such a low score on here. I thought she was an awesome professor. Shes hilarious! Her class is by no means easy but its not hard to pass her class. If you just come to class,be an active note taker, and ask questions, youll have no problem getting an A/B. she also gives a lot of e.c opportunities

I don't really understand why Professor Campbell's ratings are so low. You definitely need to study the textbook for exams (a lot of questions are extremely easy if you read!), and if you ask for help, she is definitely there for you. Her lectures aren't exactly straightforward, so studying outside of class is extremely important.

I have a college degree already and she is hands down the best professor I have ever had.

I'm so Happy that I chose this Prof when taking this class. Prof Campbell is Really THERE for you, She just want to make sure you understand the lesson that is being taught because it is ultimately our own Life's lesson. I really Appreciate the things that I have learned and I am definitely recommending her for any student who wants to succeeded!

Human Development course was clear and to the point. Requires your participation in threads. Most assignments are opinion based. It was fun and easy for me to stay engaged. Touches on subjects that make you really think about where you stand. She gave great feedback. Highly recommended. Follow along with text and midterm and final will be easy.

This teacher is great! She knows what she is talking about and is passionate about it. She makes lectures interesting and gives examples to understand concepts. The book is necessary, most of the test deals with the book. Her tests are take home and easy if you keep up with reading.

Do all the discussions and exams even if you think your not going to do well. I did all discussions and crossed my fingers on exams ( there are 150 questions). Got a B, but extremely easy class. Linda is very nice and easy to talk to.

Really funny, great teacher, make sure to read the book and study for tests AND definitely take notes in class, a lot of her lecture notes are on he tests. gives extra credit to boost your grade. Overall great teacher. I would definitely take a class with her again. Absences wont kill you but you might miss in-class assignments you cant make up

Linda is an great instructor who only asks for your genuine effort. If you put forth true effort into your assignments she will grade you fairly and accordingly. We are more than halfway through the class at this point and I have a high A. I recommend her blended class instead of all on campus or all online. It's the best of both worlds that way.

I took this class online and dont have any complains. Professor Campbell is wonderful. Just stay organized, complete your assignments on time, read and write and you will succeed in the class.

I took the blended class for PSY228. You meet once a week for lecture and do the rest of the class on blackboard. Professor campbell is definitely passionate about her field. Because of that, she tends to ramble off and get off topic during lectures. The whole class focuses on the book, so read and you will be fine!

I took the online course and it was exceptionally easy. There was a discussion post due each Sunday night and then two exams. As long as you do these and DON'T skip a post, you will get an A in the course.

Campbell and Turner (Eng) were the only two teachers I found exceptional at a rather miserable 3 yrs at Harper. Campbell is passionate, & you learn much more than Psych with her because of that. Stay organized. She gives every chances to succeed. If you don't, it's on you not her. This is college, not high school. You have to work for it.

Prof. Campbell was great and the best thing is that she gives you opportunities for extra credit which can help with the final grade. Tests are easy if you have read the book. A lot of this course is a common sense and personal experience.

I really like her! She has a very charming and funny personality. She definitely is passionate about teaching and psychology. Although she is disorganized at times, she is a very easy grader and only assigned us one project. Your grade is determined based off of tests only pretty much, but two exams are take home. She makes it easy to pass!

Great teacher, very knowledgeable in her field. I didn't get the book and still received a good grade, although 2 tests were take home which helped. Recommended if you need PSY classes!

She was incredible! I really enjoyed listening to her stories and experiences. I took the blended class and it was pretty simple to follow. One discussion post per week and that was all the homework we had. The tests and final were take-home also! She gives great feedback and replies very quickly to emails. I wish more professors were like her!!

Linda Campbell is a great professor! She is a very easy grader when it comes to projects/write-ups. The tests are somewhat difficult, so I'd recommend studying for them. However, some of the tests were take-home which were nice grade boosters. She's super funny, lenient, and easygoing! I would definitely recommend taking her class!

She is nice , sweet but her lectures are really confusing. You HAVE to read text book for you to pass the lecture tests. There are some extra credit options, so DO them, because she gives you a lot of points for them!!. Pop quizzes varies but they are really easy in a way.

Professor Campbell was a wonderful online teacher. She was very clear about what she expected from us and gave great feedback on our work. She's always ready to help students and inspire great discussions.

Im going to be a little generous with this just because shes very nice and pretty funny during class. You have to read the text and take notes if you want to do well in this class. Some tests are take home. Some test questions I got stumped on because the notes I took in class said one thing and in the book it said another..

Pr. Campbell is very clear, lots of homework and discussions, but if you read, you can do it. Just do it on time. I do not know why she has so low rate, but she is very understanding and caring professor.

I have taken 2 of her online psych classes and they are super easy, but still engaging and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best classes and BEST professors I've ever had. I took the online class and the material Prof Campbell had us read and watch, & the assignments she had us do were engaging, thought-provoking, & really invited us to think about ourselves, what we perceive, & why. Prof is also very caring, answers all questions & gives generous guidance.

Took the class online, EASY A! Met once to go over the syllabi, then you're on your own to finish the HW/papers/weekly discussion boards. For exams (midterm/final), there are a series of about 50+ questions where you find the answers straight from the book. They get lengthy (lots of paragraphs/typing for every question) so do it before it's due!!

Linda was a little out there sometimes but I enjoyed going to class. My class was hybrid so part was online. The online part was very clear with directions and the videos she posts as well as the discussions help learn the material. She is very very nice and as long as you read it is a very easy class!

She's wonderful! You have to attend class and take notes, also read the study guides and quizzes she hands out but if you do that, it is very do-able. She's interesting and cares about your grades. She offers extra credit in various ways!

I didn't learn much from this class but it was an easy A. The blended course has a lot of online discussions that you have to do every week but they are easy. The tests are open note for both the midterm and the final. All the tests are take home tests, which take a long time to do but they are easy. You have to do all the work to get an A.

She is a very nice lady, I took her for online and she was very well at communicating. You will have weekly discussions due and a final and midterm. Stay on on top of stuff because the assignments can take some time but they arn't bad at all! Very good class, learned a bunch.

Loved her online class! Her media selections were thought provoking and I learned a lot. She is so easy to communicate with and her disscussion questions are structured very well. Leave yourself plenty of time for the essays! Apply yourself and you will do great. Loved this class. Loved Professor Campbell!

I found this class to be really interesting and learned a lot. I just wish her PowerPoints made more sense. All of the bad ratings are from the people who expected an easy A and probably did not put in the work. Everything in the course is honestly straightforward and she reminds us when things are due. She also managed to get us a free ebook.

I loved Prof Campbell!! All exams for the blended class were open book and got As on all of them. She gives credit for showing up to class. East A class. Weekly discussion posts but they are mainly videos to watch. Great professor and great person.

Had her for my blended psychology class, went to class once a week for discussion and the rest of the work was online. Mainly discussion posts for homework and all exams were free response and open book. Easy A just don't fall behind too much work once you are behind. Lectures there were no keynotes or powerpoint, just written notes in class.

I took this class online as a 16 week course, you definitely have to stay on top of your work and be able to discipline yourself, but Prof. Campbell is there to help along the way. Heavy reading and writing class but very interesting and worth every minute of work!

I loved her online class. She is caring and understandable. No complaints about her.

Long exams and weekly discussion boards but Prof Campbell is the first prof I have had that takes her students mental health needs into account and make arrangements when needed.

I had a personal situation that caused me a lot of late work and stress, but Prof Campbell was very understanding about it all! she allowed me to make up the work i missed up until the last moment of the grading period. The class itself is easy if psych is your thing, tests are long but not difficult. Lessons are very textbook heavy.

I took the blended version. Very easy class in this format. You had to do discussion posts weekly and respond to three other posts. In class we had quizzes which were extremely easy. Most of them we automatically got 100% on just for participation. I had a friend who took all online and it was more exam heavy with one exam having 180 questions.

It was an easy course, she only had discussion boards and exams. If you did the readings the exams were easy. She also was lenient on submission times. I was steered away from her because of the reviews but since it was an online course I would recommend.

Prof.C creates a course in which you will know what you should expect each week. She had a discussion board each week with fairly easy prompts. She also does in class writing assignments/tests at the end of each lecture so attendance is mandatory, during the lecture she would discuss topics that related to the writing prompt following the lecture.

Lecture based, i had half online half in person. Lectures in person for materials needed in the upcoming homework of discussions and assigments

Justice for Prof Campbell! She is misunderstood; she is not a conventional grader. I love that about her teaching style. As long as you participate in discussion boards and do your weekly assignments, you will get an A. I appreciated how we covered cultures all over the world. She said we'd be doing weekly quizzes but they were open note.

I didn't necessarily love this class, but prof Campbell was very nice and had good intentions. A lot of people say she is disorganized, which I can see during class. But I had no trouble navigating assignments or materials on blackboard. There were only 8 assignments for the course and our midterm/final were both written. Overall, not too bad.

Professor Campbell was an excellent professor. I am confused by the many low readings, since Professor Campbell is a caring and understanding teacher. She provided many extra credit opportunities and extra time for assignments. Assignments were clear and easy to follow. Overall, would totally take this class:)
