You will not regret taking her class. I plan to take other classes with her as well. She's definitely one of the best allied health professors at CCP.

She is a very nice person, she gives examples from her personal experiences. She is willing to help if she sees that you are working hard. Study the book, do your homework, do your MH practice, and work for the exam and you will be fine. 2 exams and the final, Homework every week, a group project to help you bust your grade. So should be ok.

HOWEVER I was dropped from the class since the rules were set by Rossie and I broke them I ask to speak w/ her and plead my case and she told me that in the end SHE (Dr. Carr) had the last say. The 1st day she said "if you have to much going on college is not for u"

I enjoyed Dr. Carr's class. Despite what some reviews are saying she let me make up a test, gave me an extra day on an assignment, and she did the same for other students. She is really smart and funny. I wasn't crazy about the group project. My only real complaint was that I would do really well on the homework and not the tests.

the class is easy if you do the readings and comprehend. however, her organization is awful. she has assignments with due dates from past modules in later modules. example: week 7 has due dates of feb 11-18 but has an assignment with that due date in the following module. clearly her own error but she will have you stressing.

Professor Linda was one of the first professors to challenge me at CCP, and her class was the only one where I received a C. She was unclear about how our grades were calculated and was unwilling to offer help. When I asked about the exam, she simply stated that she had no control over it, which made the experience even more frustrating.

Took her class for AH116. Not very clear with what she expected and how she wanted her assignments done. Her communication through email was horrible. She was not attentive or active in listening when I emailed her which resulted in me repeating myself multiple times. Hated the group project for an online course. You will be confused.

i received an A in the class so her class is doable. however, her powerpoints are so frustrating. they do not make any sense. she is very strict so you do have to triple check every assignment + due dates. she misdated an assignment at one point which caused a drop in peoples grades but that was her error. don't recommend but it is doable.

I took PH 101. Dr. Carr is a very passionate professor, however, she is a very tough grader. She made nice study guides. Her papers give you a lot of time but the grading criteria is very broad and your grade can significantly be impacted by a single paper. The highest paper grade was a B-. She only uses slides.

Literally the WORST. The grading does not make sense and she gets smart with you when you ask questions or need something clarified. Be prepared to write papers and upload audios.

I took PH 101, for some reason that's not an option to select here. Very harsh grader. Gave half the class a C or lower on a paper worth 10%. Spends lectures (mis)reading slides. Regularly misrepresents concepts. Marks papers down for nonexistent grammatical errors. Thinks highly of herself and poorly of students. Do not take.

I honestly wouldn't recommend taking this class in the summer. The professor lacks to respond to students emails. She put an access code on an exam and the final without informing the students, preventing us from taking the exam. She sets high standards for the final project, but can't give proper feedback or clarify when critiquing your work.

The material it's self is a good topic, it's the professor who made this class more difficult than it needed to be. Exams were locked until Friday and due by Sunday she was not available at all during this time. She caused panic and was unclear with certain assignments and expectations. She doesn't respect students time.

She is unclear, unorganized and gives a lot of homework. Just read everything because her flash cards do not cover everything nor is it on her exams. Exams are majority of your grade.

please believe the reviews. this professor establishes her own grading scale, I finished with a 90% but she gave me a B. She wants 92% or higher for an A. she doesn't want students to succeed, she must have had a hard life and is punishing us. She will not assist with anything and doesn't teach, she refers you to McGraw Hill's customer support.

Please avoid this professor at all cost. She doesn't want to see her students to succeed. She will intentionally set you up for failure. She has a tendency to lecture you on everything but what's actually on her exams. She's also very sassy! Just save yourself the headache.
