This class is painless and interesting. She is like an animated character- no joke! There were 3 noncumulative MC tests with 2 essays. she gives you the essay prompts in advance to prepare. 3 easy homework essays. And she does give very helpful extra credit on her tests. I'm talking like 15 point bonus. So your grade is on steroids. TAKE HER!

Her assignments are straight forward and she is lenient on turning things in. Take her if you want a great experience and an easy A. Hardly writing intensive or reading intensive. CB is wonderful.

Several semesters ago I took professor C-B and I have felt guilty about not giving her good feedback ever since. Professor Burton sweet, and eccentric, and hands down my favorite professor, but you'll definitely want to book for HW. Study and the tests are easy. My only regret is that I haven't been able to work her into my schedule since.

Prof C-B is brilliant, fair, kind, respected, very dedicated & puts much of her home time into every class/student. Quick to respond & helpful. Quirky - esp first day of class! If you want to actually learn, take her. Reading the chapter before each class will do a world of good & makes a big difference in following lectures (also impt for test).

Prof. CB was one of the best teachers I've had at Santa Fe. Fun and energetic, she kept everyone coming to class. She is definitely there when you need her. Super sweet and helpful, she is understanding of emergencies and will try to work with you on everything. However, she is unfortunately very western-centric when she teaches, so don't expect a class that is unbiased in that way (it definitely shows). A ton of homework, but easy to do. Gives out short essay response type questions.

Professor C-B is an amazing teacher. She does give homework everyday, but its entertaining things and doesn't take a lot of time to complete. She can get distracted easily which some students can find annoying (I personally like when she goes off on rants, they're almost always entertaining), but she really cares about her students. The homework is easy, there are only 3 tests, also easy, and Professor C-B is one of the most wonderful professors at Santa Fe. Her lectures are never dull and often touch on information outside of the textbook, although she is prone to go on (hilarious) tangents. Our class was about 2.5 hours long, and she made it fly by, plus she doesn't take herself too seriously so there was always a lot of laughter going on, which help with the extremely long class time. Prof. C.B was a wonderful teacher and I I thoroughly enjoyed her class, and I learned a lot from it. She does give out a lot of homework, but it is literally taken from the textbook word for word and so that makes it easier to complete. Her tests are pretty long, but she does give you a study guide for what things to study for on the test.

I'm an Economics Major and I took this class because I needed a humanities, i had no plans of enjoying it. This professor made me change my mind about the humanities and taught me a lot. Other then being a genuine good person she teaches humanities really well and with a passion. I highly suggest taking this class.

Prof Cirulli-Burton cared about her students. She knew all of our names by the second day of class. She was very detailed with her feedback on our essays. Her essay projects were fun and interesting. Even though the class was 3 hours long she made it fun and interactive to keep us awake and going.

Listen during her lectures and participate in class and you'll do just fine on the exams. Knew the name of every student by day 2. Truly passionate about teaching humanities.

You will attend a show at the Hippodrome ( the only thing I did not like). Skip 2 classes and you will miss a total grade. Super nice when grading. Leaves inspirational feedback. I took her class in the fall 2018 semester for Renassiance Humanities and let me just say that she's one of the most caring professors that I've had so far. There is a lot of interactive workshops. Which is actually really helpful and makes you feel more comfortable among your fellow classmates. 10/10 professor. Wish she had other Humanities class

By far my favorite professor at Santa Fe. She cares dearly for each and every student in her class and makes an effort to get to know you and build friendships within her class. She makes the class feel like a family instead of a classroom and makes you want to learn. The tests were easy as long as you use the study guide and study.

Prof. CB is probably one of the best teachers I've had in a while. The class content is easy and she makes it fun and accessible, not boring. Lots of group discussions and short analysis papers (1+ pages). Grading is not on canvas, you have to keep track of it; lose more than 50 points and you won't get an A. Attendance is mandatory and rewarded.

Linda is the best professor I've ever had at Santa Fe. She is hilarious and very obviously cares about her students. It is a 3-hour class but she makes it go by quickly. I HIGHLY recommend this class! Attendance is a very big deal considering it is during the shortened semester.

Make sure to participate in class discussions and be detailed in your writings and this class will be a fun time. I thought taking a three-hour lecture would be more difficult and possibly boring but Professor CB made it interesting and engaging.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I took her in a short summer semester. There were many writing assignments but they were short and easy. She is very understanding and will let you turn things in late. Attendance was one of the biggest parts of the grade because I was in a short semester. (1 absence1 week's worth of material) Super nice.

There's extra credit and no need to take notes. She cares for students and personally helped me get through a road bump in my life. 10/10 would take again!

Professor CB is easily the best professor I've ever had. She is extremely caring and passionate about what she teaches. She is very knowledgeable about the material and does a great job of teaching it. There are always 1 or 2 assignments per week, although you can get these done in less than 30 minutes. You won't regret choosing her!

Love her, she is the sweetest teacher ever. She will always help you in any way like having extra time to finish assignment and turning in late assignments. All homework is pretty easy, class was extremely easy

Professor Cirulli- Burton is easily one of the most compassionate and caring professors youll ever meet. She is very passionate when it comes to teaching and only hopes you enjoy learning just as much. Participation can save your grade and plus her work isnt too difficult. Dedicate your time to know her and the class, Its guaranteed youll pass.

theres not enough good things to say about her! easily the best professor ive ever had, shes so flexible on assignments and cares about each of her students lives. due to covid her classes are online, so she works extra hard to build a relationship with you! yes, its an easy a, but its also so refreshing to have a teacher that really cares!

prof C-B is one of the best teachers at SFC. she is a gem. great teacher very knowledgeable and caring . gives plenty of time to finish assignments and keeps class interesting with her lectures. definitely will take her again !

Taking a class with her is obligatory if you study in Santa Fe, she is sweet, helpful, interesting, always in a good mood. If you don't care about the class you will either like it because she is there or you will like it because there's no other option, don't think it twice

I took Prof. CB's Ancient World - Renaissance Humanities course this semester and I am so glad I did. I went into it feeling out of my element; I am a lover of mathematics/science whereas history was never really my strong suit. Prof CB made it so fun and easy to learn about a subject that has bored me to tears! I cannot recommend her enough :)

Probably one of the nicest professors at Santa Fe. She cares about her students and give you ample amount of time to do the homework assignments which are easy. Some are reading the textbook and answering questions while others are watching a 5 min video and talking about it. There are no &quot;test&quot; in this class.

Very sweet woman! She really cares for her students! She calls you out if you do not complete an assignment on time but all the assignments are easy. Two easy open note &quot;exams&quot; and the rest is just papers that you have to write. Attendance is mandatory and makes you have your camera on. Class could get a little boring but it was fun!

She's great. The workload is not too heavy, just follow her instructions and you'll get a good grade. She's fair and compassionate with a real passion for teaching.

she's SO nice! really cares about her students, and explains everything you need to do. she calls you out if you haven't turned in assignments, but assignments are easy and the mid-term and final are very easy and are worth a lot of your grade. (it's open notes with no time) if you need credit for humanities TAKE THIS CLASS you won't regret it!!

Show up and participate. Listen to her and your fellow classmates. Great class, as long as you share your thoughts and pay attention, you will do great. Grading is based on completion, structure/grammar, creativity, and honesty. She is a very genuine professor with a big heart. 12/10 recommend!

Professor CB is the BEST! Please take this class with this professor, she is the best. You just have to show up and do the easy assignments. I took this over the summer and would recommend this class for the summer instead of a regular fall/spring semester. I will miss her !!

If you have the privilege to take Mrs. Linda Burton as a professor, you will not regret your decision for one second. I have never had a teacher make me feel so individually cared about. She cares about each and everyone of her students and always does her best to help. She will get back to you quickly and she is very understanding and forgiving.

Professor C.B. is the best professor you could ever ask for! She truly cares about all of her students and goes above and beyond to make the class enjoyable. There really is no professor like her. She wants everyone to succeed and gives amazing feedback on papers. I wish there were more professors like her! I will miss her so much next semester!
