You have to go to the Testing Center to write essays of topics you are not even aware of. Hard grader, poor communication with students, does not clarify instructions, and does not respond to questions in a timely manner. Get this - received a grade for Essay #3, but not for Essay #2.

Look for another teacher. I tryed to do a minimester and I couldn't believe what I saw. "a lot" is a small word to describe so much work for a short time to do. I have to drop it because in my math calculation i was needed to have around 20 hours to complete the dayly assigment! I found her not flexible, not understandable,not realistic,not polite.

Cant understand her instructions. Never clear on what is required. Gets nasty if questioned. Made students feel bad. Most students drop her class. I made an a though.

Very rude teacher. Acts like she has no comprehensional skills. Requires specific instruction even after you give her specific instructions. Doesnt answer e-mail. Yelled in CAPS saying i was not being nice to her. Instruction werent clear. Treated the class like little kids. the most horrible teacher i've ever had.

This was not one of my favorite teachers. She always gave out losts homework. She was never clear on directions and when you asked her to explain better she got an attitude with you. I would NOT recommend taking this teacher unless you really have to.

If I could rate this lady in the negatives I would!!! She doesnt respond to emails and tells you not to call her. She always tells you not to beother her on weekends. Her instructions aren't clear which hurts your grade. Out of any class I have had this is by far the WORST professor that I've had.

If you can please DO NOT take her class~!! Just try to find another teacher for your grade. Her instructions is not clear and hard to understand. I have spent a lot of times to write up essays, but grading was not satisfied. I have had to drop this calss. Just remember!! Do not take her class in you want to meke a good grade.

By the time you read the instructions and figure out what she wants you are confused and worn out. I never even received some of my grades after all of my hard work. I requested a new teacher. Couldn't deal. DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE! No communication and if you aren't careful you could make a silly mistake and be negative points.

Do not take this professor! She is very unclear with instructions and there are a lot of them. The only thing she makes clear is to not bother her on the weekend. Ive never had to professor tell me that. The only email of mine she ever returned was in all caps, it's like she is mad if you ask her for help. Words can't describe how awful she is!!!

She is extremely unclear! In the end, I ended up dropping the class and getting into another. I wish I knew of this website prior to making the mistake of getting into her class. DO NOT TAKE this professor! I am one of many whom switched out of this class because of her inclarity!

i took her in 08 and i 100% agree with the awful behavior that she displays in class. It was a remedial course and treated us as if we were 3 yrs old and in harvard. She defintely has no problem getting an attitude with you,and yelling at you in front of class! i hated her so much.what happened to teachers being respectful? she will make you suffer

i took her class in 08 and it was remedial. she was rediculous! in case youre worried let me tell you that she has no problem yelling at you in front of class and getting an attitude with you over nothing. very very unclear when you ask a question and smarts off. she treats you like a 3 yr old and expects you to work like youre earning a masters =(

Very unclear on how to complete assignments yet had very strict guidelines to follow (but never explained how). Takes major points off for minor mistakes and takes forever to email back.

NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! when she grade your essays she made towns of highlights without saying anything about them.

Linda Crawford is the worst teacher, bar none. I love English and I love to write and this woman is the language executioner. Her prompts are worded in such a way that there is only one right essay. Not essays over the same one thing but ONE essay. She also only puts part of the directions in any single document so be prepared to sift. She's awful

This is the rudest, most condescending person that I've ever met. She told me flat out that she would no longer be responding to my emails after I questioned one of her instructions. Be prepared to go on treasure hunts for confusing instructions. Expect to receive no valid feedback. She should have been a surgeon, she has the God complex down pat.

I took her during the summer Minimester 2week course, although ai made an A, I think she is the worst instructor ever. She does not give clear instructions and it takes her too long to get back with you when you email her a question. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! Although my grades were good, I know of some real frustrated classmates in my online class.

Completely regret taking her class. It is the most confusing class I have ever taken and grades will take all semester to be put in, you won't find out till the very last day what your grade is. The schedule format makes absolutely no sense and the instructions for essays make no sense what so ever. Mess up on a citation? Your essay receives a 38.

DO NOT TAKE HER. She is a somewhat hard grader. Her online tests are very very unreasonable. She also doesn't email back. Her information is all over the place and doesn't make much sense. She has two different due dates online for every assignment and drops you from the class if you miss two assignments.

I took this professor for a Summer English Composition II online course. Fist of all, none of her assignments had throughout clear instructions. She had two major essays hidden in a discussion board that I almost missed. We had one essay in the first week and the last four at the second to last week of class due back to back with no time to prepare

Tough grader takes forever to grade anything at all, Hard to get a response from. Has ignored multiple emails from myself and other classmates of mine. Absolutely a ton of homework with outrageous due dates

Professor Crawford makes herself unavailable on weekends no matter what and we have assignments that she posts that are due the day of on the weekend. So if she posts something on sat due sat you can't ask questions. Never early notice so don't make plans during the whole time you take her class. Tests are extremely difficult, book doesn't help.

I am currently taking Professor Crawford as an online summer class. She does not keep up with grades therefore, I will not know what I am making until the end of the class. She is not available for email on any weekends, but opens up assignments on Saturday that are due on Saturday or Sunday, so if you have questions, you are out of luck.

She could better her attitude towards the students, because all my online classmates and I received sarcastic condescending emails when we asked her questions. The assignments are doable, you need to work hard and dedicate your time to this course a lot.

Mrs. Crawford doesn't tell you exactly what she wants. She's extremely vague, so all semester you're scrambling to figure out what she wants. Every class someone would come in with something different. I had to take her because of my schedule. Never again, don't do it.

Minimest: You will fail her tests because the answers from the textbook are not the correct answer in her mind. You get to retake them. Instructions are all over the place and do not make sense. Oh, and if you tell her they do not make sense she tells you read them again! You will probably pass, but you may have a heart attack during it. Good luck.

Took her for a mini. Instructions are impossible to find or understand. She replies to emails 5-8 hours after you send them, so send your questions at 8am I guess. Oh, also, we know NOTHING about our final that we are supposed to take TOMORROW. She hasn't even mentioned it.

this class was a nightmare. very poor communication from professor, grades slowly and does not give a good description of what she expects from assignments, you cannot pass her quizzes by reading the chapters because she makes up her own stuff, therefore there is nothing to reference. i worked very hard in this class and she gave me a B!

This class was horrible. Mrs. Crawford is hands down the worst teacher on MCC campus. She gets a attitude if you dont understand the assignments. If you ask a classmate she will get upset about that as well. She doesnt make ANYTHING clear at all. She said our final was due on a certain day but didnt show up that day. Im glad Im done with her

The worst professor I have ever had while at MCC. She never gave the grades on the papers we had to write, so we did not know what we needed to work on. She gives a lot of essays. She does not explain what she wants to be completed. Her class is very confusing.

Literally the WORST professor i have ever had!! She was very rude when it came to getting more clarity on assignments. Had the class buy a book that did little to nothing for any of the assignments she would give. Yet she did not want us to use outside sources. Her essay criteria was as if we where writing for a Rolling stone magazine. Ridiculous!!

Professor Crawford is not a good professor. Very confusing instructions and the tests are very hard. You have to work very, very hard just to get a passing grade. Take anyone else instead of her. The class is almost over and most of my grades are not in and she does not respond to e-mails. I should pass with a C or a B though.

She gives so much reading its not even funny and when she grades, she only looks for a little portion from the text that was assigned. I would not recommend her to anybody.

Incredibly rude and disrespectful

She was down right my worst nightmare for an English teacher. I took her over the summer and I would not even recommend taking her to my worst enemy. I would work all day every day 7 days a week in order to get an A in her class. I missed out on so much this summer just to meet her high standards to get the grade I want. Super picky.

Took Professor Crawford for a minimester this winter. I understand that profs use templates for instruction for popular courses like this but God almighty, she types them up in a way that makes you feel like you have to choose between "following instructions for the paper" and writing well past your word count. Don't know how I got an A. Avoid.

Class is super messy and doesn't have any structure to it. I found 2 rubrics for 1 assignment. If you try to email her, she will get mad and tell you to read her instructions - your question is never answered. She gives feedback after you turn in all of the essays. Her tests NEVER cover the reading material, you're basically taking a blind guess.

I desperately wish there were other professors available, steer clear of this one. It so incredibly difficult trying to figure out what they're asking of the student. Objectives aren't clear, instructions aren't concise, and the class was poorly organized. I missed assignments simply because I could not find them. Due dates were also unclear.

I took an online class and I would NOT recommend. The class was so unorganized and it was difficult to even understand what you should be doing and in what order. I lost sleep trying to make sure I was doing what I was supposed to. I also didn't get any grades back until almost the last day of class. However, she does give good feedback.

I will never take this professor ever again! i ttok this online and her instructions are very unclear, if you email her asking for more clear instructions, she will tell you to read them again. Also can take her a long time to respond to your emails. Due to her being behind on grading she will try to cut your work time in half. CHECK YOUR SYLABUS!
