Ms. DelRio is an awesome teacher, her classes are fun, she makes learning fun and easy. Take good notes as half of her tests are open up book open note tests and the finale is a take home test. She is very caring, undersatnding and will help you if you need her help.

She's an awesome teacher. Always in a good mood and happy. I'd take another class of hers again.

Mrs. DelRio is soooo funny and she really knows how to get the class involved with the topic that she is talking about. She puts things into words that are out of the book so that the students can relate and really understand. She is very open to questions when you want to know about something in the class. Great teacher!!!

Linda is AMAZING!!! She's a psychologist, so she knows what she's talking about. She keeps the class interesting by using a variety of teaching styles. It was so easy to get an A and I learned so much in her class. I'd take the class again if I could just so I could learn from her.

She's very helpful. If you have personal issues and want help she has info. You use the book 99% of the class. Some of her tests are open book. This is by far one of the best teachers I have had at COS. She engages the class, and teaches not only from the book, but she wants your feedback! She usually lets you have open book/open note tests, AND you can take the final home. Plus all her lecture notes are available via iTunes and blackboard. She really was my favorite teacher.

GREAT instructor!! Very helpful if you have questions. Lots of class discussions as well as a few in class activities. She uses the book about 99% of the time and usually its open book on her exams. Not too much homework assignments but they are easy to get through!! If you can't make it through Del Rio's class it's gunna be because you were LAZY!!

Cool teacher

Easy teacher show up to class everyday session and you'll pass. Need the textbook and test are open book the final is a take home final and gives you till the following week to turn it in.

AWESOME teacher! I loved her, she is very outgoing and loves to have class descussions (I wish some of my classmates would have been more outgoing, for better conversation) Very little homework, and she provides all of her slides on blackboard so if you miss a day you will not be left in the dark. <3 her class

OMG, She is like one of the best teachers I've ever had! I loved going to her classes because we had such great class discussions. I would recommend everybody in the world to take this class. Textbook is a must for the open book tests. Not a lot of homework and HW was very easy. Learned so much about the human mind. She's inspiring(:

This is a very group-work oriented class. In Abnormal Psychology she assigns groups of students to present most topics with time for discussion at the end. Lots of little group discussions. I wouldn't recommend her for people who don't prefer having the students instead of the teacher present the material. Does let you have open book tests.

She was a great teacher. I took the hybrid course but when we did meet it was exciting. She was very blunt, but in Psychology I think it might be hard to avoid. I would recommend her as a teacher, highly recommend the hybrid course as well.

I love Del Rio!! She makes every class fun and interesting with the many short films and fun discussions we have in class. There aren't to many homework assignments but we do have a test on almost every chapter straight from the book. I aced almost every test BUY THE BOOK. Definitely take her if your looking for an interesting/fun psychology class.

del rio is an amazing person!! she is all for class discussions, and listens to any personal experiences that the students would like to share. sometimes she gets a bit off topic, but other than that shes wonderful!

If I could have taken this class online, I would have because most of your grade is based on open-book tests you take on Blackboard anyway. I only ever missed 2 test questions, one of which was on the take home final. Only a couple of assignments actually make you think critically. Class discussions and activities were mildly interesting though.

Mrs. DelRio is an extremely caring and helpful instructor! Many of the class sessions involve discussions and fun activities. She offers extra credit and some tests are open notes/open text, so attendance and having a textbook are necessary. She genuinely cares about each of her students and will make time to give individual help with anything.

Great method of teaching! Asking for input from students often to show better examples of the material.

I LOVE Linda! she seriously is the best teacher out there. she's passionate about what she does and is always willing to help you out. although ALL her tests and assignments are on blackboard you would just want to go to class because she makes it that fun and INTERESTING. take her take her take her I cant stress it enough!

She's a psychology professor; it's no wonder how she's so understanding. She really cares about her students. Taking the 6 week hybrid, the workload wasn't bad at all. I took 19 units at the time, and I looked forward to this class. She's very approachable & clear on what she wants. You know she's a good teacher when u wish u took the 18 week class

She's a great professor. Really smart and is always there for anyone that needs extra help with anything. She really only uses the book in class while lecturing, me and a friend always shared but it's good to have one for yourself. Easy class to pass :)

She's well rounded VERY educated! Sweet lady, I love coming to this class willing to learn! Test not hard. Read ch. or print slides be respectful. She loves feed back AND PARTICIPATION!!! A couple of group activities not bad at all! HW not bad either read the ch on assigned hw and u should be good. VERY approachable, understanding, helpful, etc.

Mrs. Del Rio is a very nice & humor. I like the way she teaches it's understandable & makes sense. You do take tests, a lot of reading. Overall, she is a great professor.

Del Rio is an awesome Professor. you can tell she loves what she does. Took her for both general psych and abnormal psych. Going to class isn't really mandatory. Test and most assignments are on blackboard.

Mrs. DelRio was my favorite teacher this semester. I always looked forward to her class. Her lectures are not boring. They are interesting to listen to and learn about. The best part of her class was how she loved everyone to share each others stories and relate to each other. She was also very helpful with tests and homework. I passed with an A!

I took her for Psychology 001 over the summer. Very nice and loves to answer questions. Made us form pairs and groups a few times. Usually stays on topic while using experiences from her own life as examples. Crystal clear grading rubric that she held to. I'd definitely recommend her for people looking to take Psych 001.

DelRio is a great professor and is caring, understanding, and is willing to help and work with you. You need to communicate and work hard.

Professor Del Rio gives amazing lectures. She also encourages you to participate by giving feedback and does little class activities. She connects with students fairly easy and nabs attention from her students fairly easy. She's pretty cool. I'd totally recommend taking this class. A nice step in the right direction!!!!

I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. I was able to get an A with minimal time involved while also taking human physiology which pretty much ruled my life. I put forth minimal effort but actually learned a few new things. She seems really nice and would probably be a great on campus class to take if online isn't for you.

I took her online hybrid class. Loved that all assignments and tests for the assigned chapters were due every Saturday by midnight! Assignments are easy as long as you read the material and do you work you'll pass! Oh and the best part there's NO FINAL! (:

Such an amazing teacher. Her lectures made you want to change your major to psychology(if that isn't your major already.) She makes class fun and makes you want to show up. All of the answers to her classwork/quizzes/test are all on quizlet and she even tells you the first day of class. She's caring and very understanding, just talk to her.

You can tell she genuinely cares for her students and is really passionate about what she does. I really liked having her and would definitely take again!

She is a great professor. She made her class relate able, educational, and something I genuinely looked forward to attending. She is not a difficult teacher, yet you need to read your book and be aware of the assignments that are due as well as projects. Make up work is not given unless you have a good doctors excuse. Was nervous to take Psych again because I took AP Psych in high school + struggled, but her online class was easier, more informative, + more organized. Easy tests, fun assignments, and great content covered. Loved the videos she had us watch occasionally. Taking another course with her next semester! Can't wait. She is a sweetheart + fair grader.

I loved taking her summer online psych1 class. She made the class very easy and it was very interesting as well. I got an easy A. I definitely recommend Del Rio, 10/10 would take again.

Abnormal Psychology was great. Case studies, discussion boards, papers, video responses, quizzes, tests - easy + fun. Del Rio is a fair grader, extends deadlines in appropriate scenarios, + gives extra credit when deserved. If easily triggered by r'pe, mental illness, suicide, etc., caution on taking this course, but you learn a LOT of great things

I took her online course and it was my first time ever taking a class online. Although I wish I took her class in person I really enjoyed psychology she made it fun and interesting! An amazing instructor. Fair grader.

My class was an online hybrid- which meant that I only had to show up to one class session a week and that the rest was done online. It was a very enjoyable class and she is a friendly professor who teaches with passion. She will grade based on the work you put out. So put out a lot of good effort and work. She is fair I'd say.

God I love this women. She just wonderful. Take her. Understanding. Informative. Fun lectures. Good sense of humor. Just go to class do your work and you'll pass with an A , easily. Very manageable. More than happy to help. Makes it easy to learn and retain material. Teaching and being a psychologist is her passion , you can tell.

Hands down, Del Rio is by far my favorite professor. She always gives feedback and replies to emails quickly. The class itself was extremely interesting and I was always excited to get to work. Her class actual inspired me to change my major to Psychology! I definitely recommend her class.

Altough I did not get to meet her in person, I could tell she was such a n amazing caring person. She was very organized which helped a lot, plus if you are online you are able to get ahead which is helpful. The information is a lot but if you do your work and study notes and read the book as well you should be fine.

Ugh I just LOVE her! She is very helpful and actually cares about her students and what they prefer as of her teaching. She is very understand about reasons on missing her class, but DO NOT take advantage of her. She has many group activities and none of her lectures are boring, as she tries to make the class as interesting as possible.

She is amazing, very organized, and cares for her students. I took her online and she has all of the assignments open and you work ahead as much as you want. Homework is usually due by Saturday night. This class was great and just do the work and put some effort in it and you should be fine. You use revel as a textbook.

All you do is show up, and you really want to go to class. It is a very interesting class although i am not a psych major. lots of examples and you use the book almost everyday.

This was my first online class. I was skeptical at first, didn't know if It was going to be difficult. I'm glad I took her. Mrs del rio made the class easy to follow. I recommend her you won't regret it.

Del Rio was a great professor, but due to the transition to online due to COVID, it was easy to fall behind. She remained on top of everything and was easily accessible during difficult times.

This was the first online class I took and I'm so glad I took it with Professor Del Rio! She's incredibly understanding and kind. I missed a few deadlines because I didn't really know how any of the platforms worked, but Professor Del Rio still accepted my work. Very fun class too! I learned a lot :)

We had about 3 paper assignments every week, but they were very easy and could be finished in about 20 minutes each. She replied to all my emails within a timely manner and is very helpful! would take again!

I took the short term class so there was quite a bit of work given each week. The work wasn't too difficult and Professor Del Rio is a fair grader. She has solid expectations, but nothing you can't handle. She gives amazing feedback and gives a lot of praise when work is completed well. I definitely would recommend her for psychology!

I took this course online and it was the accelerated version. There were a lot of assignments but luckily, her grading criteria was always straight-forward and clear. All quizzes and the final exam were multiple choice. It's challenging but if you put in the effort, you will pass! Would definitely recommend her class, I feel like I learned a lot.

Ms. Del Rio was great, overall. Provided good feedback on assignments and had a variety (essays, quizzes, etc) each week. My only complaint would be that after a week of harping on critical thinking, she wasn't very open to discourse that questioned or disagreed with the course materials.

I took this class online and loved it. Since it was a summer class, it was a lot of work but the assignments are easy if you do the readings. Linda was very easy to reach at all times and had great communication. A lot of work through Revel, and the book is $80 so be prepared for that. This class was an easy A and I enjoyed it, I would recommend!

Professor Del Rio's online class was laid out well and she let us work as far ahead as we wanted. The class was easy for me since I liked to work as far ahead as possible when I had the free time. The revel assignments are very tedious, but they are easy to get through they just require time and patience.

she let you work as far ahead as needed! she was an easy class and t was my first time attending college and I didn't feel like I was drowning in work with her. she gives about 3 assignments a week with was a 40 question quiz and group discussion board and essay questions.

I took this class online, and I struggled, im not sure if it was just a hard subject for me to grasp onto, despite my struggling I still passed, just be ready to read, and doing. your work on time is very important.

I took the short course online and honestly super easy just do the work and you'll have a good grade the textbook is all online it was 90 bucks she also gives feedback for every assignment I'd 100% do another class with her highly recommend

She gives personal feedback on every writing assignment, my only complaint is that I had to pay for access to the textbook to do the chapter assignments, otherwise, she is a lovely professor, she grades quickly, and I would definitely take her again.

Prof.Del Rio is amazing and very kind. It is easy to use online resources in this course but I wouldn't recommend it because the class is genuinely fun. You need Pearson for her class but other than that it's fun and she is super understanding and helpful! Don't forget to do your Pearson though cause late you'll only be able to get 50%!!!

The class is easy. I took it online, but it is a lot of reading and so many quizzes. This is more of a class that you need to have time for to read the material but it is not hard. She grades things very fast which I appreciated.
